Facilities and Capacity
The Scott Resort & Spa can hold receptions for up to 600 guests and provides a Deluxe Courtyard Room for your wedding night. Our luxury spa, La Vidorra, offers a Bridal package to have you both relaxed and camera-ready for the big day.
Group rates are available for your out of town guests to enjoy and celebrate this special occasion to its fullest.

s, which caused unnecessary stress during what should have been an exciting time. Emails and questions often went unanswered for long periods, and when we did receive responses, they were frequently unclear or incomplete.
We found ourselves having to follow up repeatedly to get basic information or confirmation, and important details were sometimes communicated late or changed without much notice. This lack of consistent communication made planning far more challenging than it needed to be.
On the wedding day itself, the space looked lovely, but the difficulties leading up to it took away from the overall experience. For couples who value clear, timely communication and a collaborative planning process, this is something to seriously consider before booking.
In addition, we felt the Scott was overpriced for what was actually provided. For the cost, we expected a much higher level of service, organization, and support. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the premium price point.
We hope the Scott improves its communication and coordination, as it has the potential to offer a much better experience than what we encountered.

equently but don't live there, so this was a destination wedding. Kelly was always available in a timely fashion whether through email, phone or in-person. She was so sweet and helped us coordinate all the details mostly remotely. The venue itself is breathtaking. It has an amazing Cuba/Scottsdale vibe. The food was wonderful (especially the beef tenderloin), as well as the craft cocktails. We originally were going to host our rehearsal dinner and welcome party elsewhere, but loved the atmosphere so much that we ended up hosting all our events there. If you are looking for a first class experience, I would highly recommend The Scott!

re getting our photos done, we saw there was going to be another wedding that day (we stayed 100% out of the way - in fact, we were not even near the ceremony/reception area)...one of the upper management(?) stated that we need to leave and no longer take pictures in the lobby...
Like what?? We were GUESTS at the hotel! And there was no other bridal party around us... I would beware of that. We had to do half of our photos at the Scott and the other half at the venue. Too bad...

a Angel is literally a godsend. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this woman, who made sure my wedding day was absolutely perfect! I saw an idea on pinterest about having napkins folded like bows, and she had her staff take care of it for me! She answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly, both in person and via email, which was SO helpful for a busy and detail oriented bride like me. But most of all, she made sure everything on the actual wedding day was taken care of so I didn't have to stress about anything.
As for the actual venue, the ceremony space it intimate and surrounded by lush landscape. I loved the small resort feel of the space, where you feel like you are really getting married in private. This is compared to other big resorts whose ceremony space is clearly visible from the lobby and completely lacking in intimacy. We had 150 guests, who were seated easily in the ceremony space. Another great perk about the space is that the grass is actual fake turf, which doubles for both year-round lush looking green grass as well as preventing your and your guests' heels from sticking in the grass! I was in 4 1/2 inch heels, so that feature was a major bonus for me.
The reception was so gorgeous. We were in the large ballroom and used blue uplighting as well as large manzanita tree centerpieces - the effect was dramatic and gorgeous and I had so many compliments on how beautiful everything looked. Oh and the food is AWESOME! We had the steak, and it was incredible - I made sure to eat every last bite that night. I'm so thankful to Jessica and her staff for making my dream wedding come true!

d restaurants. The free shuttle was a great benefit. The moment our daughter and her fiance walked into the lobby, they knew it was the place they wanted to get married. The Oasis, where the ceremony took place is a beautiful area separated from the general pool area. Our cocktail hour took place on the patio area outside of the ballroom and it was perfect. The reception was amazing. The food was the best I have ever had at a large function. It came out on time, hot and with a great presentation. Jessica Angel is the Social Director and she was great. Everything was taken care of exactly as we requested. She had great ideas for some of our flowers to be used in multiple locations and the staff took care of all of it. Along the way, she always responded to email questions promptly. The reservations staff was great too. We had many people stay for multiple days and Ryan took care of everything that popped up as far as questions. All of the staff we encountered, whether early in the morning or late at night, was friendly and helpful. I would recommend FireSky Resort to anyone looking for a great experience.
