My room coordinators (Patty and Lisa) made sure that everything went as planned and checked in with me throughout the night to ensure everything was perfect. She even went above and beyond to find us a DJ as ours had canceled at the last minute. had an Assyrian wedding, so there was a lot going on! Every time we went in, everyone was friendly, welcoming, & accommodating. Every time we walked out, we felt confident and excited about our reception. The process and pricing was clear cut. Once at the reception, they took care of everything and made sure everything ran smoothly. Some things that were a plus, that we had not realized until looking at other places include (but are not limited to): Center pieces being included and the family style dinner that includes red meat. Everything adds up so quickly for weddings, including the time and effort that it takes to do things. It was soooo nice having everything taken care of, we did not worry about anything the day of. We could have not asked for a better day/venue and cannot say enough good things about this venue. We were incredibly happy that we chose the Seville as our venue and would choose it over and over again!

I will forever be grateful for Tammy and the venue. The Seville is breathtaking. My wedding was a month ago and I’m still getting told I had the best wedding all my guests ever been to. They are priced reasonably and you get so much included in the package and a ton of food. I just had to add little personal touches for myself but they literally had everything! It was stress free planning for me and my husband. I also added the sparklers for my entrance and first dance plus the wow moment with the fog. It was literally a dream come true. I would highly recommend them over and over again. If you want your dream wedding with amazing staff who will go above and beyond for you.. well this is your sign. Book them asap. We appreciate you guys for everything 💕

Desiree was completely incredible to work with. Her demeanor and explanation on things were very clear and easy to keep up with. Tammy also was an incredible help with the planning process as well. The night we had our dinner tasting, we met Patti, as soon as I heard I was able to request her for the night of our wedding, it was the first thing I did. The turnout on our wedding day was easy and not hectic one bit. It all came together beautifully. I’d give the Seville 100 stars if I could. The place is just absolutely gorgeous and the staff is beyond incredible. The food was amazing. The top shelf open bar was amazing. Everything was timed accordingly and non stressful at all. Thank you to the Seville for giving me and my husband the best day of our lives!!!

Our guests have not stopped complementing us both the day of and two days later some are still texting. The sweet table was amazing as was the late night pizza delivery which wowed the crowd. The bar service was wonderful as well the two guys were very responsive to everyone’s needs. After postponing the wedding twice because of Covid, we were so thrilled to be able to finally have this amazing night thanks to all the folksAt the Seville.

We did have our wedding during COVID and the Seville went above and beyond to cater to social distancing requests and making us as well as our guests feel unbelievably comfortable. Nicole was one of the managers we worked with and she was there for us throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding can be difficult, but planning one during a pandemic was quite the challenge. Especially since we live out of state. Nicole made it easy and was so pleasant to talk to. Araceli and all the servers made sure our guests had everything they needed. Everyone was stuffed with delicious food by the end of the night-even the bride and groom! The Seville made sure we had the day we had always wanted while still keeping everyone safe due to the pandemic. We cannot thank them enough and recommend anyone to use them!

so happy that so many things came included. Their packages were some of the best and affordable we'd seen. She immediately showed us the place around and we fell in love with it! They were very accommodating and and we loved that we were only the wedding the day of too . Although there was a miscommunication with the total final payment they were able to catch the mistake and explain it to us well. The day of all the attention was on us and we felt like they really listened to our needs. We were able to leave all our decor a few days earlier with Nick and they placed it out just as we indicated. The day of Maria, our event manager (can't remember her specific title) was very attentive and made sure we had some appetizers even though we arrived a bit after cocktail hour. I loved that the cake was part of our package too and I really loved how it looked on the display table when we walked in!! Overall, the entire staff was very helpful and we were taken care of! I would definitely recommend having your wedding a the Seville!

The day before the event, we met with Nick and finalized all the details for the room, he was very nice and helpful. The night of, Yesenia was our room coordinator and was on top of everything. She made sure our bridal suite was stocked with hor d'oeurves and champagne. She was also very attentive for the bridal table and checked on us often but not intrusively. We had many guests who complimented us on the venue and the food. The venue works with the baking institute where we got our cake from and it was absolutely delicious. Lastly, the venue worked with us very well on our budget and was VERY understanding and accommodating. Thank you all for your help in making our big day something to remember! We would highly recommend having your event here if you are considering looking for a venue.

told by guests who actually got a piece that it was delicious. Unfortunately the cake was not served to the guests- they received ice cream instead and the cake was wrapped for guests to take home. Either the pieces cut were too big or they didn't put all of it out because half the guests never got any. Not enough appetizers were provided and they ran out early- had to ask for something for diabetics to eat before dinner and the staff was very accomodating. Bathroom clean, brides room very nice. Speaker system and microphone useless. Couldn't hear the vocalists make announcements and the music played during dinner was not loud enought to hear- unable to hear the words of the Father-daughter dance, mother-son dance or couples first dance which was very important. Venue packed unfinished dinners for guests which was unusually nice- most venues throw the food away. We were allowed to provide the dinners, from guests who did not make it, to the band members. Prices were reaonsable which is also unusual for wedding events. Overall would recommend the venue but would ask that weaknesses be corrected before the event.

If you want an amazing party and everyone to have fun through the wee morning hours (no sound oridinance here) pick The Seville!! We literally had the best day ever and couldn’t have done it without The Seville!! People still can’t stop talking about how beautiful the ceremony was- we also had it at The Seville and how fun the whole night was!!!

I could not have asked for a more perfect night and I owe it to the Seville. I would recommend the Seville to anybody that is looking for a venue to celebrate a special occasion.

We worked with Desiree on the planning, and every detail was exactly how we wanted it. And it’s affordable!! We were able to have our 175 guest list within our budget! I HIGHLY recommend the Seville for any formal event your hosting. They have it down, no fuss or anxiety!

The staff helped me decorate with my overly complicated/intricate favors and decorations and were SO kind with everything while I was having mini prewedding meltdowns. The bridal suite was AWESOME - we got all the chocolate covered strawberries and champagne that we wanted. Everyone was so so helpful, I cannot stress that enough. Nicole was always responsive to my emails throughout the wedding planning process. Honestly, if you're on a budget and want an all in one deal (food/alcohol/cake/setup/decorations) this is the place for you. I didn't need a florist for the tables and centerpieces come with some of the plans. Heck, even if you're not on a budget this place is awesome. For a young couple with a low budget and not a lot of financial help, we were able to comfortably afford a wedding with 100+ people with food, open bar and more accommodations than most places. THEY HAVE PARKING TOO. I am just so pleased with them I can't even express it. My only meh thing about The Seville was that there are most likely going to be other parties/weddings going on in the other two rooms if you don't use all of them. This isn't that bad, but can be distracting with music sometimes. But if you just let your coordinator know about any loud music it will be addressed, and you can always do a quick party crash ;)

The only thing that went wrong was that for some reason the photobooth did not send out the pictures via email that the quests requested. That still would not make me give the Seville less than 5 stars because they made my dreams come true for my wedding.

ything went smoothly (it did, despite a hectic snow storm), and Maria was our wonderful staff liaison. She kept everything going for us too, and helped calm my nerves about everything. The private room that the wedding party had access to was a godsend for myself and my bridesmaids when we needed to get away (and eat chocolate strawberries; don't judge you know you would too!!!), and having a giant stall for me to use the bathroom in was definitely nice- I didn't have to go in the public bathrooms. The lighting was spectacular, as was the layout of the room. It didn't feel cramped even though there were 175 guests. I keep getting comments from our guests about the dinner; people didn't expect to eat a whole lot, but I've had multiple people say that they ate the entire dinner (we did lemon chicken with broccoli and potatoes, pasta with marinara, and kielbasa as a second meat option). The staff set out the cake with the sweets table (which included a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!!!), and included cake to go in that setup. They also boxed the top layer of my cake for me, and that's sitting in the freezer now. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone including my best friend. The decision to go with the Seville was one of the best I made during my planning process. They also give ~*EXCELLENT*~ discounts for off season/Friday weddings, which we took full advantage of. If you're stuck thinking about whether or not to go with this venue, DO IT. JUST DO IT.

we wanted or required some additional room fees. The Seville was our last and least enthusiastic spot. I should’ve listened to my fiancée’s concerns more but we were both tired and defeated by the time we came to the Seville. We signed a contract and were told we had to pay in full ($1295) as there was no option to make payments or put down a small deposit. Afterwards, the Seville informed us we’d have a scanned copy of the contract sent to our email but we never received anything. After discussing our concerns with our wedding planner, we decided to cancel our ceremony at the Seville. Since we paid in full, we knew we’d have to forfeit some money. Their email is not listed on their website and since we’ve never had a direct line of communication, my fiancée called the Seville. On the phone, the woman informed us that according to their policy, we’d have to forfeit 85% of our money without exception. Hoping this was a miscommunication, I made an appointment yesterday to speak to someone in person. At that time, I still didn’t have a copy of the contract I signed. I spoke with Nicole, who was empathetic. She understood my situation and printed out a copy of my contract for me to review. It should be noted that she changed some details of the “Additional Charges and Instructions” section of the contract before printing it. Nicole also grabbed the original. Comparing the two, it’s more or less the same information, but worded differently. I still don’t have a copy of the original I signed. Nicole wanted to help me, but was at the mercy of her company’s policy. She told me to speak with the owner, Sam, and handed me a business card. When I told her I’d call Sam in the lobby, she offered to call him and we could both speak to him. Nicole called Sam and explained the situation, then handed the phone to me. Sam was stern on the phone and told me I had no other option than to lose 85% of the money I paid him. No matter how often I told him that there’s still 4 months to book the room after my cancellation, he would counter with “There was also 4 months where I couldn’t book the room.” I got angry on the phone after Sam refused to compromise and hung up. Nicole apologized and wrote me a check for $195. She informed me that since a typical deposit is $2000 and our wedding was less, paying in full was the only option they could have offered us. I knew none of this beforehand. I contacted three other banquet halls to ask about their policies. The Abbington in Glen Ellyn has a similar minimum $2000 deposit policy, but the money can be used for a different event if you cancel within 6 months of the wedding date. Drury Lane was closed at 7:00pm on a Tuesday, so no comment on them. The Belvidere in Elk Grove Village has an acceptable policy. After explaining my story, they told me had I booked there, a deposit of $250 would have been required and the remainder of the payment would be due the week of the wedding. If cancelling, I would only lose the deposit. In total, I lost $1100. I would not recommend booking with the Seville.

You do not have to use them but they are amazing and will give you a better price if you do. They really took care of me as the bride and let me have food that was just for me. They really catered to my needs. The up lighting was amazing and they have a lot of decorations in house that you can use. Only things to be aware of: If you are going to have more then 270 people then you are going to want more then half of the hall. They say that half of the hall fits 300 but it would be super crowded and require tables to be moved around. 270 was a good fit. There will be another wedding going on at the same time as yours if you don't have a 500 person minimum. I was not happy about this at first but I thought they did a good job of making it not a big deal and there was no sound issues.

I called The Seville a few days after the wedding and literally cried on the phone telling them on how grateful I was for everything they did. My husband and I will forever have amazing memories to cherish of our few AMAZING hours here.
