Our wedding went seamlessly! Melissa was extremely helpful. We were coming to Missouri from Texas so I was clueless about local vendors. Melissa was able to connect me with hair/makeup, photography & a florist. They all did a spectacular job! Melissa even thought about details that I would have accidentally overlooked. We added the horse and carriage & it made our ceremony pop. The horses were beautiful and added that something special. We have beautiful photos & memories. The chapel was exactly what we wanted & it has an awesome history. We even took our whole family to a dinner show the evening before. It was family friendly and everyone enjoyed it. ❤️
While adding photos I was having trouble with them downloading or I would have added many more.
I did the florals for a wedding at Shepherd of the Hills, Melissa was awesome to work with, getting times etc. for delivery…and pictures there turn out beautiful.
I first found them at a bridal expo. Loved the looked and signed up for a tour. It was in early January so it was pretty cold and they still had Christmas decorations out. The person we met with was not the coordinator and wasn’t able to answer most question. One thing she had said is that they were planning on putting new floors in the bridal suite. They offered a ton of amenities for our guest and ultimately we agreed this was perfect. We called the coordinator who was about to leave for vacation to give my card information. She said if we had any questions they’d answer when they got back. We had a short engagement so things like photography, hair/makeup and catering were needed ASAP. Before leaving for vacation she informed me that we would need to use on site catering. Which was totally fine. I asked when she got back if she could provide all the information for that since we had some dietary restrictions and needed the other things being offered. Radio silence for about a month. I reached out via email and text and the question weren’t really answered. I asked for photography information and ended up having to find my own (which is fine but is something they said they would help with). After not receiving photography information and still no word in catering we wanted to do another tour just so we could meet face to face and get some answers. We were then past off to another coordinator. This tour was about 3 months till the day and still had no information on catering. Before meeting with the other coordinator, I had to speak with the original coordinator on the phone and was only then informed we could use outside catering. At this point I asked for hair/makeup information as we are not from the branson area and was looking for recommendations. She promised to email me and I never received anything. The day of coordinator we met with was very nice but was not really able to answer questions and kept saying she would have to get back to us. She never did. Closer to the day and we were informed we only had the bridal suite for 2 hours before the ceremony. We had to scramble to find accommodation for hair and make up company I found on my own. Night before, we set up and were unable to drive down to the reception hall to unload. So everything had to go down a flight of stairs. Day of we ended up getting the bridal suite for 3 hours so my husband and his groomsmen had somewhere to change. The bridal suite had not been updated at all! The carpet was completely stained, dirty and there was glitter everywhere. The A/C unit was a a joke and barely worked. It was so hot in there we would have been better off getting dressed at our condo. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception hall was useful. There was not a speaker system so we had to bring our own Bluetooth speaker. We were unable to use the giant tvs that lined the walls but we were able to set up the tables however we needed/wanted. Things got a little frustrating at the end. At first they refused to bring a golf cart/ tram down and made my husband’s 95 year old grandmother walk up a flight of stairs. The only reason we were able to get a golf cart was because my grandmother is in a wheelchair. Overall it was a frustrating experience and caused a lot of stress. The amenities offered to our guest’s was not really worth it in the end.
