TLDR: Open catering!
We really wanted a venue that allowed us to bring in our own caterer and the Sinclar allowed us to do that, which got us Cyndy, Sawatdee, and our awesome menu. It turned out to be fantastic in other ways too, but this is what sealed the deal for us. If you’ve been talking with wedding venues, you know how rare open catering is. For the most part, The Sinclair is one big room. At first, I was a little hesitant about that, but on the day, it turned out to be perfect. The weather was beautiful so the inside space and the outside space flowed together perfectly. Having everyone in one space allowed us to float around all night without isolating any one group. We also never really “lost” each other because of this. We could always just look across the room and find each other, or really, anyone else we were looking for. It also encouraged people to dance. However, there was still plenty of space for folks using the photo booth or playing games. The space is a fantastic empty canvas. That will mean more work in picking thoughtful decor, but it really shines there. Our theme was black, green, copper and so so many ferns and houseplants. It looked amazing there with the exposed brick and wood beams. If you’re looking for industrial chic, this place is it. It has its quirks, but overall, turned out to be a perfect fit for us.
We had our late October wedding here, and it was perfect. The owners were amazing to work with and the venue was gorgeous, and very unique. Would recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.
Adam and Christina were tremendous to work with. They were super accommodating throughout the entire process, were beyond quick to respond to our millions of questions (no seriously - often answered within 2 minutes of an email being sent), and were so flexible in our quirky, out-of-the-box ideas to make our dream day come true. I cannot recommend them enough!!!
Fabulous venue! Adam and Christina have done an amazing job upgrading and decorating the venue to the point that we hardly had to bring any decor to create a beautiful space for our wedding. They are super flexible on the vendors used which allowed us to create the wedding of our dreams; however, they are also wedding planners and have a list of amazing vendors in case you need some suggestions. We loved that all the tables, chairs, lounge furniture and bar came with the space and that we had access to the on-site getting ready spaces!
I would highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a beautiful industrial feel!
The Sinclair on Grand was an amazing spot to host our wedding! The space itself was perfect. One big room allowed us to situate the space in the way that bedroom fit our flow. We had just under 100 guests and there was plenty of rooms for tables, cocktail hour, the buffet, a dance floor, and a cozy corner! They have beautiful spots for pictures in the space and outside on the green lawn. Even the buildings around there offered unique shots. We also loved being able to choose our food and bring in alcohol - it made it truly feel like we had everything we wanted! We highly recommend this space for any event, but especially a wedding!
