You won't regret picking this venue! We had our September wedding here and would pick this venue again and again. Sam and the team were great to work with and answered any questions along the way. It was perfect for a sit down dinner of 160 guests. It was great it was a DIY/BYOB venue so we could customize everything to have our perfect day!

I cannot say enough about this venue. We hosted our National Award Dinner there. Everyone I talked to was so helpful and professional. You won't be disappointed.

I recently attended a friend’s wedding at The Spot and could not have pictured a more perfect venue for a celebration. The space allowed ample room for guests to mingle near a well stocked bar, plenty of room for an amazing catered dinner, and of course a large dance floor to celebrate with friends and family. Having attended many weddings in recent years in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area, you can’t find a better venue than this! Absolutely would recommend for any bride, groom, or party planner to consider hosting their event here.

Attended a wedding reception here this past weekend and have nothing but great things to say. The large front windows provide an abundance of sunlight that accentuate the beautiful exposed brick inside the venue. The staff and bartenders were all incredibly friendly and personable, too, and I'd recommend The Spot to anyone I know for their reception, party, etc.

Attending a wedding at this venue was such a delightful experience! The exposed brick gave the space a stylish and elevated vibe that made everything feel extra special - and made for great photos! The atmosphere was simply enchanting, and the staff was super friendly.

I did not get married at the Spot, but attended a wedding there this past weekend. I have to say as a guest, this space checked all the boxes. Great location in downtown Cincinnati with a historic vibe (wooden floors, exposed brick, etc.) but overall very modern amenities, such as the bathrooms. The space was big enough for this big wedding, but also felt intimate at the same time. Staff was very friendly, we had a great time! Would recommend to any couples!

This space is so cute!! Really unique and plenty of room for the wedding we attended. That staff was so great, the bartenders were funny and personable, and the bathrooms were clean! Recommend this place for anyone looking to host a party or have a wedding.

I had a strange experience with the Spot. The way I felt/how I would recommend from the beginning of our wedding planning process to post-wedding has changed a lot over the 2yrs we worked with them. I don’t know if I would recommend this venue without a lot of asterisks including some of the stresses my experience included. September ‘22, when touring The Spot, I had a very nice experience. Iimpressed with all of the amenities offered that were not additional costs since this was an issue we were running into with many other venues. Shortly after we signed a contract for our June 2024 wedding date, I found out one of the add ons that we were told wouldn’t be an added cost (table linens) were in fact an up charge. No big deal, we had more than a year to arrange what we would use. We went on with normal (little to no) contact until about three weeks until our ceremony date when Sam reached out to my wedding planner to ask if we were going to pay the $250 charge to use the space the evening before our ceremony for a rehearsal space. We’d never heard of this charge. Not upon the first visit/tour, not upon any follow up communications, not in our signed contracts & not on the venue site. My planner told Sam to hold out on charging the card on file this amount until she spoke with myself & my fiancé. Later that evening I left Sam a voicemail requesting a call the next morning to discuss. Around noon the following day, I had not received a call back so I called Sam (who told me she didn’t receive a voicemail from me the night before) & voiced my concern with never hearing of this charge and was told that the staff member that gave my tour “had maybe given ten tours before and was hanging on by the seat of her pants”. I was told “sorry you didn’t hear of it but the charge has to be paid for use” when I mentioned this wasn’t in our contract & I would like to talk to Christy (the owner of the venue) she said “sometimes Christy charges up to $500 for the space to be used for rehearsals.” I thought this did not seem possible, to change the rate per couple, but I did not dispute this as I was nervous to have the amount increased for arguing. Sam then also informed me that the charge had already been made earlier that morning. Despite saying she didn’t receive my voicemail the evening before, that morning prior to my call, she’d charged the card on file without anyone’s permission. On the day of our ceremony, chairs were set up differently than our layout & while my bridal party set them up, a bridesmaid overheard staff discussing what she was doing & how it was “wrong” rather than assisting or offering help, which was discouraging to her. Sam was our wedding evening coordinator & she did not speak to myself (the bride) or my husband, the entire evening. I loved the look of this venue. Our day was beautiful & went off without a hitch, but I give so much credit to my planner & the work she put in. The venue itself is very unique & budget friendly. But, after reading other reviews and comparing my own to other experiences, I feel like I was treated differently than other brides which is disappointing. I’ve tried to look at this objectively & I’m not sure what caused the difference in my experience,l rave reviews given to specific staff members & experiences with them. I didn’t have a negative experience with any other vendors during my the entire time planning our wedding, so I may have been overly sensitive when things were tough here.

The Spot on West Fifth was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! We loved how flexible the space & the team was to making our day exactly how we envisioned it. Sam was so pleasant to work with & was always quick to respond with any questions we had. Our day truly went without a hitch & it is in large part to the Spot's team being so prepared for everything. The space felt so open & warm, yet brought the downtown vibe we were looking for too. It's conveniently located to so many places downtown & our guests commented on how easy it was to find. I couldn't imagine hosting our wedding anywhere else!

This place was the absolute perfect venue for us. Sam and Brooklyn were amazing to work with. They have thought of it all and are prepared for anything you need! They worked hard to make sure our baby shower was amazing. They are not afraid of hard work and were even cleaning the windows on the day of our event! They were very kind and pleasant to work with. The Spot is adorable, with beautiful exposed brick walls and hardwood floors. We loved everything about the space. The ambience was cozy and warm, with bright airy windows to let the sunshine in. We appreciated all the amenities they had and the kitchen with the ice maker and load in area was definitely a plus! Parking was close and convenient. We will definitely use The Spot again for future events!

The Spot was fantastic! We are so grateful for all the work that Sam, Sally, and all others put in for our day. They worked wonderfully with us every step of the way and were fantastic start to finish! Can’t thank them enough! THE BEST VENUE!! Such a pretty and versatile space!

The Spot on West 5th was the perfect spot!! Everything and everybody that we came across with that worked for The Spot were helpful, kind, and accommodating. Such a beautiful space that you can make your own. Easily fit our 150 guest with room to spare. We booked our bartenders through them as well and they were excellent. If you are looking for a blank a canvas, twinkly lights, exposed brick, and a modern but timeless location this is it!

Having my wedding day at The Spot was the best experience. Working with Sam from the beginning was a smooth and seamless process. She was so helpful and so insightful not just on questions about the venue but for anything. She was there every step of the way from helping flip the room after our ceremony and getting everything set up, she made our wedding day so easy. Could not recommend enough!

We had our wedding reception at The Spot and it was the best experience we could’ve asked for! From the beginning when we booked the venue they made every step of the way so easy and seamless. Communication was so easy and quick and they were helpful with any questions that we had. On the day of our wedding, the staff was so attentive to everything and they helped the day go perfectly. I got married here a couple of weeks ago and IT WAS THE BEST! Seriously, my husband and I had the best night of our lives and people kept telling us that this was the best wedding they've ever been to. Sam and the team were so great to work with and the space itself was the perfect size (not too huge and not too small) and feel for the event. We had a disco-themed wedding and were were able to hang a disco ball, put up all sorts of fun decorations, and have a live band perform and maintain a very lively dancefloor. Don't hesitate to book here or attend an event here.

The Spot On West Fifth honestly was the absolute perfect venue for us!! From the moment we toured, we knew it had exactly what we wanted and the flexibility! You truly can create any type of vibe you want! They do not lock you into any set food or beverage packages, so you can bring in any vendors you wish, which is a huge bonus since most venues do not allow that. Sam and her staff were wonderful to work with!! They answered any questions or made suggestions to help you feel at ease about pulling off a wedding with so many moving pieces that are always involved. We used their bartenders and so many people commented on how great the drinks were - they really knocked it out of the park!! Their team made it easy for setting up and clean up!! They were awesome with making sure all things were organized for vendor pickups. We cannot thank The Spot On West Fifth enough for helping make our wedding so beautiful!!! Highly recommend!!!!

The Spot was a great venue for our wedding! Being able to use any vendor we preferred, as well as provide our own bar was a HUGE value. The space is great and very versatile. Sam and Brooklyn were super helpful throughout the process as well.

I would pick The Spot over and over again if given the choice! The space itself is an incredible canvas but at the same time doesn’t need much at all to bring it to life - the exposed brick and industrial vibes were exactly what we were looking for. The staff is incredible as well, but particularly Sam who we worked with leading up to the wedding. She is every anxious bride’s dream - laid back and reassuring, but knows her stuff and makes it seem effortless to bring it all to life. We did both our ceremony + reception there which required a room flip and the team was so efficient in making that happen while cocktail hour was happening. We couldn’t have been happier with how our wedding turned out at The Spot - so thank you!

The Spot is truly amazing!! We recently had our wedding reception here and had nothing but a positive experience with every aspect. We worked primarily with Sam leading up to the event and her expertise and wealth of wedding knowledge helped us more than we could’ve imagined. Brooklyn was a huge help as well! They are both extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. The space was also perfect for our guest list of 115 people. We were able to create our own vision - from the table layout, to the decor, food, and everything else in between - it was exactly what we wanted. The cost was very affordable and reasonable and the flexibility with clean up the next day was great. The Spot was the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony and reception. The Spot is the definition of ‘romantic industrial’ with exposed brick, hardwood floors and string lights hung throughout the space. We worked closely with Sam throughout the planning process and she was wonderful. She was very accommodating to many requests we had in order to make our day perfect. She was also thorough with us and made sure we thought of all of the details regarding the flow of our day. They set up the space for the ceremony and reception beautifully. When it came time to flip the room from ceremony to reception, the team at The Spot moved rapidly. We got many compliments from guests on how quickly and seamlessly that transition occurred. We couldn’t be more happy with our choice to have our wedding at The Spot. They are a very personable, accommodating and professional team all around and were a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend The Spot to others looking for an event space!

I cannot recommend the Spot on West Fifth enough! It is a beautiful venue located in downtown Cincinnati. It is within walking distance of hotels, bars, and restaurants making it very accommodating for guests coming from out of town. Sam and Christy were AMAZING to work with. They are both so friendly and helpful and always available to contact. They are very accommodating and allowed me to come in to see the venue on multiple occasions as I was deciding how to decorate for our big day. Could not recommend enough! Looking for the perfect venue is always one of the toughest decisions to make. My partner and I spent countless hours researching and touring different venues around Cincinnati for the right "spot". Then, The Spot on West Fifth became an easy favorite once we previewed the venue and met with Sam. This venue is very much an "a la carte" type situation. They provide the space, tables, chairs, and the basics. As the couple, you are able to hire any food caterers, alcohol, bartenders, etc.. Initially I was worried because many other venues have a set, lock-in price per person.. but The Spot allows you to craft your own dream wedding without paying all those extra useless fees. They give a wonderful list of recommended vendors and truly have worked with every company around Cincinnati, so they can give the best advice. Any time I questioned if I was picking the right person/vendor, I would reach out to Sam and she would advise me on what to do.. even the photographers. The Spot gave us a ton of layouts because we had a wedding and reception all in one. My biggest fear was this idea of a room flip with 200 guests waiting. To my surprise it was incredibly fluid and fast. I was shocked. During the wedding, The Spot staff ensured everything was moving smoothly and was always willing to help. Sam communicated constantly with my wedding planner, DJ, and our party to ensure we were in the known. We were definitely happy with the Spot and only give it high praise. Do not hesitate to reach out and tour this beautiful industrial type of loft venue for your perfect event/wedding.

The Spot and the staff there are amazing! I initially toured and worked with Christy to book the space and then worked with Sam regarding event details. Both were INCREDIBLY responsive to emails (which was amazing because I planned this wedding long distance). The space is so cool- tons of exposed brick and polished concrete with beautiful floors. They even installed more sting lights into the ceiling which looked amazing. We had both our ceremony and reception here and the room flip during cocktail our went so smoothly! Also their bridal suite in the back was the perfect space to store things and have a moment to breathe before and during the event. Finally, getting to provide your own alcohol is a huge plus to this venue! We were able to choose only all local craft beer and select the brands of liquor that we prefer to drink, which was definitely not an option at most other venues. There prices are extremely competitive and I highly recommend giving them a look! We would definitely choose this venue again.

The spot was the perfect place for our wedding reception. We love the aesthetic of the spot and that we had the ability to choose our vendors as well as decorate the place as we saw fit. My wife and I got married in September of 2021 and looked at many venues around Downtown Cincinnati, and The Spot was by far the most beautiful and cost effective for the wedding we chose. They were flexible with which vendors we could hire and bring in which made planning the event easier and more personalized. We loved being able to customize the venue with our own decor as well as bring in our own licensed bar tenders and caterers. The place is beautiful and can be set up in a variety of different ways making every event there unique. The exposed brick and the industrial look was exactly what we were looking for. Additionally, it's conveniently located within walking distance to many great hotels, restaurants, bars, the Banks, OTR, and more. The venue was extremely spacious for our 100 guests and felt there was plenty of room for more. Our setup required a flip for the reception which was done in record time with their teams help. The bridal suite made for a wonderful place for the wedding party to leave their personal items. Being able to put down a deposit and not needing to pay the rest until the day of the event allowed us to save money for our big day, while knowing we had secured our perfect spot and could begin planning the rest with caterers, making invites, and everything else involved. Sam and Christy were super accommodating from start to finish with all of our requests, day and night. They allowed my wife to schedule a mock set up with our wedding planner while she was in town (we live in NYC), which made the day of the event flow much better. Sam even went out of her way the next day to help us load up items which they kept safely secured overnight so we could enjoy the rest of our evening as newlyweds with friends and family. We received numerous compliments on our venue choice and our guests were wowed at how everything came together at the Spot on West Fifth. We will definitely consider using this venue in the future for family events in Cincinnati! We are so thankful to Sam, Christy, and the Team at the Spot on West Fifth as they made our day truly magical! What a venue! We literally cannot fault Sam and The Spot. With over a year of interaction and visits we felt like our wedding day was in the best hands possible, and a beautiful venue. From a planning perspective this was the easiest of all our wedding vendors, and obviously the most important. We love The Spot, and we are so grateful to Sam for being the amazing coordinator that she is!

Truly the perfect spot to have your day. The people here are incredible and kind. The space is large but still feels intimate and special. We were able to really customize the space to fit the vibe of our wedding. It was a perfect day because of the perfect venue.

My wife and I only looked at one venue for our wedding, and we booked it immediately. The Spot was everything we wanted- big enough to host all of our friends and family, modern and industrial with exposed brick, and most importantly, they allowed us to use our own vendors. It turned out to be the best choice we could have made- Sam and Christy were so incredible welcoming, kind, and helpful. They really went above and beyond to ensure that we went into our wedding day stress free and without any concerns. The bar staff we hired through The Spot were kind and professional, and the BYOB option made bar setup stellar and really customizable- which was a big deal for two people in the bar industry! We were so thrilled with our day, and The Spot played a very large part in making that happen. This place and staff is amazing! Let me just tell you working with Sam is top Notch! She went above and beyond the day of my wedding and leading up to it. Not only running the reception, but also acting as videographer during our sparkler send off and bustling my dress for me. She’s a jack of all trades. If your a Cincinnati bride and looking for the next up and coming spot to have your wedding.. check out the spot. This place gives you the exposed brick and hardwood floors and exposed beams without breaking the bank and budget. They literally let you customize the space however you see it, it’s truly a blank canvas for you to create your dream wedding located in the heart of downtown. If I could do my wedding all over again I would give the spot over and over again and I continue to tell new brides to check this place out. 🤩🤩💕💕💕 thank you again Sam for everything you did! Christy (and Sam) were incredible to work with. We ended up having to push back our reception because of COVID, and it was not a problem at all and Christy worked with us to get everything pushed back. Sam was amazing and VERY professional and organized. They both made everything so easy and stress free.

Luke and I recently had our reception at The Spot on West Fifth and have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about The Spot (venue and people). The space is absolutely beautiful - brick wall, string lights, projector, bridal suite, etc. Christy and Sam do a phenomenal job ensuring that the night runs smoothly. We thought we were short on an item and Sam quickly ran out to ensure we had what we wanted. I am so happy we chose The Spot on West Fifth - you'll love it too!

I am a little late leaving this review, but WOW is all I really need to say. I got married here this past September and it was nothing short of amazing. Christy and her team went above and beyond throughout the whole process. Planning a wedding during COVID adds an extra layer of stress, but I truly never felt any stress or worries when working with my vendors. Christy and Sam made sure that we had everything we wanted and more! When I say above and beyond... I mean it. Christy even took our Skyline Dip back to her house and heated it up for us before we returned for the rehearsal dinner. Not only are Christy and her team great, but the space is absolutely stunning. Some of my favorite highlights are the gorgeous exposed brick, the flexible floor-plans, the ability to stock your own bar, the location, and truly being able to plan your event the way that you want it. We really didn't want your traditional wedding and The Spot made all of our crazy ideas happen. Yes, even our donut toss instead of a cake cutting. The business model at The Spot allowed us to save a lot of money. We stocked the bar ourselves and were able to bring in the vendors that we wanted. No extra hidden fees or costs. They really give you the bones of the event and then allow you to create the event of your dreams. Everything was truly top notch, including the set-up and clean-up. We were able to get into the space on Friday and set up/drop off everything that we needed. We then set up a time on Sunday to come pick up the remaining decorations and leftover items. When we arrived on Sunday everything was boxed up and ready to be loaded off into our cars. A process we thought was going to take an hour or so was done in about 30 minutes. I must say, The Spot allowed us to throw one heck of a party that we will never forget. Our guests have shared nothing but great things and I would highly recommend having your wedding or any event here. I could rave on about The Spot for days, but I think I've covered the basics. This is the coolest and most beautiful wedding venue in Cincinnati! It’s so industrial chic and went perfectly for my boho rustic wedding. Sam was so helpful with everything when it came to my wedding! She helped us set up on Thursday and was there to make sure everything was perfect on Friday! They are so flexible and want to make your day perfect and stress free. With covid going on I had no idea how my wedding would turn out and everyone says it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. I had to change venues only a few months before my wedding day and the spot was quick to respond and offer me a tour. I truly can’t thank everyone at the spot enough for helping me have the most special and spectacular day.

We had a wonderful experience with the spot. Their space is so gorgeous we ended up just taking photos at and around the venue. We had both ceremony and reception here and I’m so glad we did. Their management is so kind and helpful. They worked with us, the coordinator, the vendors-even without our prompting. There was a manager and another staff member available for us the entire event-even though we never needed them because of how well they plan and execute. You should definitely consider this place for your wedding!

Despite all the madness happening in the world in 2020, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams at The Spot on West Fifth last month. We booked the venue during summer 2019 because of its raw beauty and the ability to transform the space however we wanted. Christy and Sam were a dream to work with and were accomadating and really went above and beyond, including timely answers to emails (a day or two max), willingness to meet us at the venue more than once to discuss design, presence at set-up, rehearsal dinner, allowing us to string lights across the ceiling, projecting our wedding hashtag on the back wall from their projector, fantastic communication with all of our vendors including a pre-wedding zoom meeting... and they did all of this in the midst of a pandemic. I don't think they ever told us something was "undoable"... they really worked with us to give us the wedding of our dreams. Based on Christy's recommendation, we went cabaret style for our wedding and had the ceremony and reception at The Spot, and it couldn't have been more perfect and intimate! Sam helped us find the perfect set-up to accomodate all of our guests while still giving me the perfect bridal aisle to walk down. I didn't want a big flip, so we designed it to only have to move the head table out, and it worked beautifully. The bathrooms are beautiful and large (at least 4 stalls in womens), there is a fun get ready room for the bride, a huge bar, and a very nice catering kitchen. This place really has it all, and I will forever be thankful that we got to meet Christy & Sam and have our wedding at The Spot! If you want a beautiful and unique wedding venue in downtown Cincinnati... look no further! This is your place!!

Christy and Sam at The Spot are amazing and our day turned out so great because of them! Finding a time to view the venue (twice) was easy. The space speaks for itself and it’s beautiful. I loved the flexibility of bringing our own alcohol and choosing our own caterer as this was so budget friendly! When we booked back in May 2019, they hadn’t even had their first big event or wedding, but we would’ve never known it was so new. All of the planning and setup went seamlessly. It was so cool to see the space evolve and see the little changes (painting the outside, hanging string lights inside, providing bartenders, etc) they made to make the space even better. Christy and Sam were organized, answered all our questions, provided guidelines for COVID precautions, and helped create our wedding vision with the space. Christy suggested “cabaret style” back in May 2019 and this ended up being perfect with social distancing. We were able to book the space for rehearsal the day before which allowed us to set everything up and decorate Thursday afternoon. Sam was there the entire time and helped out with table layout and turning chairs to face the “alter.” Christy was available the day of the wedding and was great with communicating with our vendors and my aunts. She even set my flower centerpieces on tables for us! I could not have pictured our day going any more perfect and so much of that I owe to Christy and Sam. Book your wedding and/or reception at The Spot! You won’t be disappointed!

The team at The Spot on West Fifth was so amazing! We were originally scheduled to get married in June but had to move our wedding to early September 2020. Coordination: Leading up to the event, with all the date changes, and presumably as is typical with any wedding, there were a ton of details to keep track of. The Spot helped us be mindful of things to remember, they would send us reminders or make observations for things to consider that we hadn't thought of, and for us. Sam and Christy set up a meeting the week before the wedding with all of our vendors to get on the same page about timelines and day of, how things will work. Space: The venue is beautiful. It has a very modern look but also industrial with the brick walls that was immediately impressive to us. I believe The Spot was the second place we looked at for venues and we knew right away that it would be where we would want to get married. The space is large enough and malleable enough that it can accommodate so many different floorplans. For us, we prioritized separation between different households above all else and the space really worked well for this. We did not go with traditional rows for our ceremony, but instead had everyone seated at the round tables they would eat dinner at. We ended up being able to have enough space to limit people to between 4-6 at tables, with plenty of room left over for our gift tables, caterers, the bar, dance floor, and our caricature artist. If there was one thing that could be improved with our experience, it was that the speakers and projector that are in the space could be operated by more than just the one DJ company The Spot has a partnership with. We wanted to go with a different DJ but in order to have a slideshow, we still needed to hire the other company to be able to use the projector. Location: The Spot is right in downtown Cincy across from the Convention Center. It's one block from the Hyatt and two from the Hilton. There are so many other hotels nearby in easy walking distance as well. You can walk to parks, museums, and restaurants all over downtown. For us, hotel location was key. For our guests, they loved how close they were to so many sites in downtown, and this would not have been possible if were not for The Spot's prime location. Staff: It's already been mentioned throughout this review, but Christy and Sam could sell the place on their own. Their advice, patience, and how accommodating they were to our requests over the year we worked with them was so appreciated. The day of the wedding, Sam was EVERYWHERE and filled in wherever anything was needed. I know several of the things that she took the time to help out with, only because I asked. I only vaguely know from my groomsmen that she was all over the place solving small problems before they'd become bigger. I love that she did all of that without asking and I'm amazed that she could do it all without me finding out about most of it that night. Verdict: The Spot is a great venue, but the team that runs it made our experience. Don't hesitate to book with them. Your wedding day will be amazing, but perhaps more importantly, the amount of stress you'll feel leading up to and during it will be so greatly reduced. We loved our experience and would highly recommend this venue and this team.

Planning our wedding was a bit chaotic with having to move our date however Christy and her team at The Spot were extremely flexible and accommodating! They were able to accommodate our new wedding date with no problem or hesitation. Throughout the entire process the team was extremely responsive and handled every detail! Sam sent us videos of the table layout to ensure we liked it and could fit all of our guests comfortably. During the reception the team made sure everything ran smoothly and seamlessly! They thought of every detail and were extremely kind and professional. I could not have asked for a better wedding day! I would highly recommend The Spot for any and all venue needs!!

There are no words to describe how amazing The Spot is and how wonderful their staff are. We live about 3 hours from Cincy, so we ended up doing a FaceTime tour to see the space and I knew as soon as I saw it that it was the perfect place for us. We wanted lots of space and this fit the bill. The columns, hardwood floor, and bricks were gorgeous and made for fantastic photos. Christy and her staff are honestly the most wonderful people to work with. They were kind, patient, helpful, and overall made my wedding planning experience amazing. The Spot is truly your event your way and the staff truly puts 100% of their focus on you - Christy and Jody even helped me unload my decorations and set up my floral arrangements! We truly value everyone at The Spot and hope tons of people will book with them so you can have the same amazing experience we did.

The Spot was exactly the space I had always wanted for my wedding reception. I received many compliments from guests that our wedding was one of the most beautiful they had ever been to. The space allowed us to make the day truly our own as we could choose our own vendors and layout. Christy impressed us with her communication and willingness to help us through the entire wedding process. Her priority in it all was that we were able to celebrate our day our way, and she definitely made that happen!

I don't know how to put into words how happy we were with The Spot for our November wedding. We knew we wanted a downtown venue with an industrial vibe and The Spot fit the bill perfectly while allowing us the flexibility to make it our own by choosing our own decor and vendors which seems to be somewhat rare for a downtown venue. The venue was gorgeous during the day but truly even more beautiful at night all lit up! From the beginning Christy was so lovely to work with. She was responsive and willing to help us put together the exact wedding reception we wanted. She coordinated beautifully with our vendors the day of and was happy to touch base with them the week before for final details. We will never forget our reception at The Spot!

It is hard to put into words just how happy we were with our experience at The Spot on West Fifth. With four months until our wedding, we found ourselves without a venue. I will forever be grateful that we found The Spot on West Fifth & met Christy. Even with only four months to plan with the venue, everything went seamlessly & without stress. The venue itself is beautiful, with a wonderful industrial feel, while also being warm & inviting. It was nice having a blank slate that we could make our own. Everything came together & our vision was beautifully displayed. We struggled to find a venue in Cincinnati that had an industrial feel & that would allow us to add our own creativity, but Christy was receptive to all of our ideas & assisted in making sure our vision came to life. We received so many compliments on the venue & on the kindness of Christy & Sam. The availability of two bars was convenient & the ability to bring in our own alcohol & beverages not only saved us money, but also allowed us to choose drinks & mixers that we knew our guests would enjoy. On top of being a beautiful space, the staff, Christy & Sam, are an absolute delight to work with. Christy is accommodating, responsive, personable, helpful, & everything else you want from a venue owner. It was evident she had our best interest at heart throughout the entire process. She was able to offer suggestions & guidance throughout the process. Sam was there the night-of & did an excellent job of ensuring everything ran smoothly. We brought in a lot of our own decor & linens & Sam & the team were even kind enough to bag & box everything so that pickup the next morning was a breeze. I cannot thank them enough for helping to make our wedding day so perfect & exactly what we wanted. Again, I cannot say enough kind words or express enough gratitude for how much Christy & her team contributed in making our day absolutely perfect.

My (now) husband and I were the first ever couple to get married here and WOW! I had the most perfect wedding day a girl could ever dream of. This venue is absolutely stunning with its industrial / rustic feel and so much room as well as a portable bar and stunning get ready room that’s been recently decorated. I want to personally thank Christy and her amazing team for working with my husband and I through and through making sure every little detail was on point come our wedding day!
