I was worried the venue would cancel or have us reschedule but the weather didn’t even phase them. They had an inclement weather plan and communicated with me and my vendors throughout the weekend. This is a venue that you can trust to have your best interest at heart. I booked their wedding package and a couple of their add ons. I liked all of their planning materials shared including floor plans, measurements, a comprehensive list of guidelines, and an in depth timeline with suggested planning goals. I really liked working with their coordination team and my day of coordinator Kristie. She is someone you can share and bounce ideas with. She is highly professional and experienced in the wedding coordination industry. As a type A bride she matches that energy and if you’re not type a she is someone who can take your vision and run with it. My biggest request day of was please don’t bother me with anything. My day was in her hands and I wasn’t bothered at all and everything went smoothly. I don’t recall having any stressors other than the ice. Catering and bar were highly professional and the food was delicious. I order catering for work events and honestly you can tell when the food is catered versus getting it at the restaurant. We had a lot of positive feedback on the food provided. The bar tender was super friendly and nice. He was very easy to have a conversation with and treated the guests politely. Our DJ Tristan was 10/10! He is very professional and friendly. You can tell his passion is with music and entertainment. I didn’t have too many restrictions or requirements for music or announcements. I trusted his expertise and I am so glad I did. We gave him a list of must play, do not play, and genres we like and he was on it. We wanted him to have fun with it and he did. A lot of our guests were highly impressed with him and loved his sense of humor and music taste. We also booked the Photo Booth and I am so happy we did! The attendant was super kind and friendly. I liked that the guests had a keepsake and we got a copy as well in a photo album that our guests signed and left messages. We needed up getting more signature and messages in that book than our guest book at the welcome table. The venue itself is very pretty and clean. The bridal suite is massive compared to other ones I have been in. The lighting, electrical, and mirrors are fantastic for bringing in hair and makeup artists. The groom suite was also very nice, but the groomsmen did say they had a hard time with the yellow lighting. In summary, I highly recommend The Spring in Lake Conroe to any bride looking for a venue with a wedding package. They are dependable, professional, transparent, communicative, and friendly. The package is definitely worth it.
