The Steppe Center

They were great to work with in the beginning. We went in for our “rehearsal” was told 8pm night before wedding. Get there and baton is still going on. We didn’t get to even start our rehearsal until after 8:30. Ok fine, we asked if the lights could hang a little higher and got the response of “I don’t think so, this is how we always have it and no one has complained or asked that before”. We responded with, “that’s fine, we wanted to ask and not everyones taste on things is the exact same”. Moving on we asked if the ceremony could have the lights dimmer. Based on our country theme, we wanted lower lights to capture a more intense aisle walk. We again got the response of “I could lower then if you want but this is our generic lighting for ceremonies. It won’t be good picture lighting if we go lower.” To which we said “we don’t have a photographer and we would like to have the lights lowered please” So he did with a horrible attitude. Come wedding day he had people scheduled to view the venue DURING MY WEDDING to which someone just walked right into the bridal room we were getting ready in! Then couldn’t find him to turn the air on cause it was burning up in there. Ceremony time and ppl we don’t know are watching from upstairs, the lights were overly bright, nothing what we asked for the night before. End of the night ppl are still saying bye to us, get interrupted saying we needed to get all of the food packed in the fridge out now, rushed us to get our decor off the tables so they could clear the clothes off, rushed us to get everything out of the bridal rooms. Just an overall horrible day experience with this venue. I will not be recommending.

We are so grateful to Bob and all the staff at the Steppe Center for making our wedding reception such a smooth and stress free event. The entire process was great, from start to finish. They communicate great, are very personable, and WANT to help you put together a great event. All this with pricing that is very fair (not trying to nickel and dime you). Also, we had so many guests compliment how fantastic the facility and staff were! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!

This was my second time hosting a wedding at the Steppe Center and it was as great as the first. They are so friendly and accommodating and will work with you to make sure you have everything you need. The place is very nice and is a great value compared with other venues we checked in to. If I had another kid that needed a reception venue, I would go back for number 3 for sure. You need to check them out.

Loved everything about this Venue. They were kind, easy to work with, so caring they made our day absolutely special. We would pick here again in a heart beat.

Everything was so smooth and we had tons of compliments on the venue! It’s great that everything can be done in the same space! Also you don’t have to mess with paying for parking or driving downtown!

The Steppe Center was the perfect place for our wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and wedding all at The Steppe Center. They were very accommodating to questions we had through the entire event. They explained things to us very clearly and I felt like they really cared about us, and our day. They clearly spelled out the pricing from the very beginning and there were no hidden charges. The building is gorgeous and they really help you customize your day how you want it to be.

I would give this 10 stars if I could! Bob and his family were amazing to work with! Communication, set up, assistance, staff, everything was top notch! Will book there again in the future, and scream it from the roof tops for all my friends to book here! It was beautiful, elegant, and exactly what I envisioned! Love, love ,love this place! ❤️

If you’re looking for an amazing venue and staff for your wedding then this venue is for you! Bob and his staff were extremely helpful, so nice and communicative throughout our entire wedding planning and the day of our reception. Not only did we love the staff, but this venue is gorgeous! They really make it look so nice with the lights and drapery. We paid extra for more strung lights from the ceiling and that was 100% worth it. We had about 180 guests and they fit nicely into the space. Bob and his team even helped us hang some things like hoops and a sign behind the head table. Another awesome perk of the Steppe Center is you get to pick ALL of your additional vendors like food, DJ, and cake. This isn’t one of the venues that requires you to use their vendors and we really like that. They also don’t nickel & dime you with all of these additional charges, they’re upfront about their fees and they stick to it. We loved that this is a family owned and run venue and you can really tell by how easy they are to work with, how passionate they are about what they do, and how friendly they are. Thank you to the Steppe Center, Bob, and staff for making our wedding reception amazing and stress free!

This place is amazing! The owners are so easy to work with and the venue is very affordable. Any questions or concerns we had they took care of for us in a timely manner. They took care of us like we were a part of their family, and we really appreciated how they took care of everything for us. We booked with the Steppe Center back in January of 2020, which was right before covid hit. We were supposed to get married in April of 2021 but ended up pushing back a whole year with the unknown of covid at the time. The Foehlinger family was so flexible during it all and really made the planning process not stressful. You could not ask for better people to work with and it made it so fun having them be the bartenders for us on our special night! The venue itself is so beautiful, clean, spacious, and just overall perfect. We received so many compliments on our venue and everyone really loved the lighting that comes with it! If we had to do the planning process over again, we would not have changed a single thing. Our night was perfect and a huge reason for that is because of the Steppe Center. We highly recommend this venue; they get 5/5 stars from us! :)

If we could rate The Steppe Center 10/5 stars, we would. We, like many of you reading this, had quite the rollercoaster of planning around covid. Bob, Sue, and Ryan were so flexible and accommodating throughout it all! We are raving fans of this family-owned wedding venue. The venue is beautiful, the bar packages are top notch, and you can bring in your own food vendor! We received so many compliments from our friends and family during the event regarding this venue. You will not be disappointed booking this venue for your wedding; best decision we made!

We had the best experience working with Bob and Ryan. It is a family operation and they put a lot of work into making everything beautiful! Ultimately, the space looked exactly the way I envisioned! I would totally recommend them.

We just had our wedding last night at The Steppe center and we absolutely made the right choice! It’s family owned and they give you a family vibe. They were so accommodating and communicative throughout the whole process. Bob and Sue were absolutely amazing! Ryan was also super helpful with scheduling things and the bartenders were so much fun! The spaces we we used were also beautiful and we were able to get ready there. 10/10 would recommend!!! You have to check this place out!!

The Steppe Center was a great place to have our daughter‘s wedding. They are extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. A couple areas I forgot to cover, the Steppe Center was fabulous to step in and provide help. I would highly recommend this event center!

The Steppe Center and the family that owns and runs is absolutely amazing! They were always accommodating, flexible, and a true joy to work with. I met with them several times prior to my wedding because as things go along you get more questions and they were always willing to jump in and help right away. All night they had a drink in my hand and I got so many compliments from guests that they were memorizing peoples drinks and had them ready before they even got up to the bar! Overall amazing! This family is one of the sweetest you will ever meet. They make the experience so great.

Amazing! That is the only word I can use to describe our experience with The Steppe Center. From the moment we had our first meeting with Ryan we were welcomed with open arms. Ryan and his dad were so organized and easy to work with. They accommodated our every want and need without hesitation. Their pricing was fair and easy to understand. The day before the wedding everything was set up in a timely manner. Both the ceremony room and reception area looked outstanding! They took care of everything so my wife and I were able to focus on our special day. I can’t say enough good things about the Steppe Center and it’s management. Anybody who is looking to get married or host any sort of party should look no further than the Steppe Center.

The owners are incredibly sweet, generous, and always willing to help out with anything you need. We were able to bring in our own vendors for food, DJ, and decorations. If you’re looking for an amazing venue and staff, look no further!!! Hands down, the Steppe Center has it all. They were more than accommodating to meet all our needs and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. We were able to bring in our own decorations, our own vendors and were very flexible in working with us and our schedule. The facility was very clean and their open floor plan flowed nicely for our guests, especially while being concerned about COVID-19. My brother, who was married in July, also had his wedding reception at the Steppe Center and we had the same amazing service and experience. They truly care and know the effort it takes to make every event special and beautiful for everyone they work with. Thank you, feels like an understatement, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!

We loved working with Ryan and his family to plan the perfect wedding reception at the Steppe Center! They were very responsive to questions throughout the whole planning process and took the time that day to check in with us before it started to make sure everything was the way we wanted. Ryan’s dad went through multiple light color changes with my husband just to make sure it was the perfect shade. We really liked that this is a family owned business run by people who care about other people. The space is huge, the floor is amazing, and the bartenders kept people moving quickly through the line! We couldn’t recommend the Steppe Center enough. Call them today!

They were so great to work with! They are a good family owned company and were very easy to communicate and meet with. Everything was set up perfect the day of. They set up and cleaned up the venue. They were reasonably price and also let us bring in our own caterer. With all the COVID craziness they were very responsible and listen to our needs. I would highly recommend using them for your wedding day!

I can't say enough great things about this venue! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful from the beginning of the planning to the clean-up and everything in-between (all while executing a flawless event in the middle of a global pandemic). My sister is getting married here in September and we can't wait to be back!

We booked back in December of 2018 and Ryan was in contact with us every step of the way. Whenever there was a wedding with something unique going on, he would contact us to tour the venue to look at different styles and setups. Our wedding was the first where they added the option to do string lights hanging from the ceiling and it was SUCH a great addition! The string lights made the room feel more cozy and intimate and they offer it at a very competitive price to event companies. Ryan, Bob and Sue made planning the whole wedding feel like working with family, not with a business. They worked so hard to make sure that the day ran smoothly and perfectly. We had planned outdoor pictures, with our dog, but due to wind, we could not follow through with that plan. They were awesome and flexible, letting our dog come in for several hours to do pictures with us. The center is gorgeous as a whole, and the ability to choose any vendor for catering, DJ’s etc is a huge plus! 

The Foehlinger family at the Steppe Center were awesome to work with! Ryan was always very quick to answer all of my (many) questions and they were all very helpful with setting up the venue the day before. The space itself is very versatile, and has a lot of room to decorate as basic or extravagant as you’d want, and for a venue rental, I thought they were the most reasonable for as much as you get. So glad we worked with the Steppe Center!!

We could not have chosen a better place to have our wedding reception! Ryan, Bob, and Sue were FANTASTIC to work with. They were very accommodating and worked with us to make sure our reception was everything we wanted- and more! They all genuinely care about you and making sure your day is perfect. The venue is very spacious and they have awesome lighting if you choose. There is plenty of parking, and the facility is impeccably clean and well cared for. We were lucky and there were no events the night before, so we were able to go in and decorate the day before our wedding. Sue was there and even helped us set up! They made sure we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day and everything went off without a hitch! Ryan is very fun as well, he doubled as one of our bartenders for the night and was very engaged with the guests and made sure everyone was having fun. Pricing is very reasonable as well, especially for how amazing of an experience they provide. We are sad our wedding is over so we won’t get to work with them anymore. Truly the best night we could’ve asked for thanks to the Steppe Center. 10/10 would recommend!

The Steppe Center was a beautiful venue for our wedding reception. They were so accommodating - we were able to come the day before to set up. They were so helpful the whole night. Very reasonably priced, we brought in our own caterer, they did the bar, they had tables and chairs included. We used their table cloths but you could use your own if you’d like.

We were so pleased with the Steppe Center! Ryan was very accommodating! He was quick to respond to emails and flexible with our schedules. I would recommend the Steppe Center to all couples looking for a versatile space on a budget! Share your vision, and they will make it happen for you!

I can’t say enough about how fabulous The Steppe Center was for my daughter’s wedding ceremony & reception! From the first contact to the last load being taken out Ryan Foehlinger & his parents were welcoming, kind, helpful, & made us feel as though we were family. The venue was spacious & beautiful. A new kid on the block, The Steppe Center, shows up with customer satisfaction unmatched. From day one with our tour, Ryan showed us potential offerings and walked us through every step and option available. The entire staff at The Steppe Center was outstanding and a pleasure to work with in such a competitive market where most people are trying to be salespersons instead of venue coordinators. Truly a place where you will feel what we felt...responsiveness and attentiveness to our wedding plan. The event was beautiful, ran smoothly, and was a great experience. We had many of our wedding guests complement the wedding and the venue. I highly recommend you consider The Steppe Center for your wedding event.

WOW! This place is amazing! I helped my brother (and sister in law) plan their July wedding. I suggested that we look at The Steppe Center. I am SO glad we did. As soon as we walked in the door, we were sold. The facility is so clean and the white wave wall (with lighting of your choice) is such a neat entry piece. The team was so welcoming and willing to answer any questions we had right away. Ryan, Sue, and Bob are genuine people who make it obvious that their goal is to help make the couples day smooth, stress-free and unforgettable. They were open to ideas we had about set up and even made great suggestions! We were able to get in to the venue the night before the wedding so we would not have to rush the set up on wedding day! We appreciated that SO much. Ryan, Sue, and Bob were also there and offered to help us any way they could. Ryan and Bob even stuck around and worked on a backdrop (tulle & white lights) to go behind the head table which turned out STUNNING! If you are looking for a beautiful, affordable and ACCOMADATING venue…..THIS IS IT!

My daughter's wedding reception was held at The Steppe Center. Ryan, Bob and Sue could not have been better to work with. When we arrived to set up they were so helpful and genuinely interested in all the details. They offered to help every step of the way. They provide a spotless, beautiful venue. I would encourage anyone looking for a venue to check out The Steppe Center. You will be impressed!

This was one of the easy to work with venues ever! Ryan and his family went out of their way to be helpful with my sons wedding. At the last minute we had to move the ceremony inside to the upstairs of the The Steppe Center. Ryan created a little chapel. It was absolutely beautiful! They were also very cooperative when it came time for us to decorate. He was kind enough to let us do so the night before. Him and his father were so attentive and were extremely helpful. The wedding and reception turned out better that we could have imagined! Great Place and Great Owners!

This is an amazing wedding venue! The staff was so nice and went above and beyond to help make our day perfect. Our guests complimented on how great the space was. The neutral colors make it perfect to use no matter what your wedding colors are. Ryan was great when we had questions and was quick to get back to us every time. I would highly recommend it for a wedding or other special occasions.

If you haven't given The Steppe Center a look, you should. The venue was extremely spacious and clean. Ryan was very easy to work with the entire time, including the day before and after our wedding. They were even able to accommodate our rehearsal the same night they were putting on a 500 person celebration for another event. There was no impact to us and we had a blast. Reasonably priced, spacious and very accommodating, you can't go wrong with them. If you are looking to relieve some of the typical wedding day drama, then you should definitely check out The Steppe Center.
