I can only start this by saying: book your wedding here, now. It was the best decision I could have made in this wedding process - and for your money, you won't find a better venue in the Mercer County area in my opinion.
My parents have been ...coming here for dinner for years- and anyone who has been here knows the food is PHENOMENAL. Even though this is one of my favorite places- my husband actually picked the venue because he loved the food from a wedding we went to, and from having been to the restaurant a few times. I can say from not just my wedding but other events- there is NO loss in quality for the food for events- our guests are STILL raving about all the amazing food - from the bacon wrapped scallops to the fact that every filet mignon was perfectly cooked. (Seriously - the amount of food we had was INSANE, and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious.)
Tricia Russo went above and beyond for us - listening to every request I had, and she knew what was best for my vision for the wedding. For example: I forgot that a YEAR ago when we booked the venue, I said I wanted gold silverware. I only mentioned it once- but she remembered, and it was there that night. They pay close attention to detail - from the colors, to the signature drink, to the raspberries in our champagne glasses - there was not a single detail that went forgotten, and while I got a lot of the credit for that as a bride- I would not have had half the wedding I had hoped for without The Stone Terrace and Tricia. She's so good that when my husband & I walked through the ballroom before the reception & mentioned we barely had time for 1 appetizer at the cocktail hour, she met us up in the bridal suite with food less than 10 minutes later- and honestly, I could rave about just THAT for days.
I could go on forever about the ways they went above and beyond for us: they had specialty plates with extra salad & pasta for us, assuming we wouldn't have much time to eat. They had a waiter asking to get us drinks so we wouldn't have to go to the bar while trying to talk to everyone. They checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was what we wanted. They took in the ridiculous amount of items we brought (photos in frames, guestbook, table numbers, place cards, lanterns, even candle votives!) and made sure they were all used in a thoughtful and creative way.
The venue itself is gorgeous- the dance floor is perfectly centered with the tables around it - so no tables are tucked in any corners & everyone feels the urge to get up and dance. Their outdoor ceremony / cocktail hour area is GORGEOUS - there's a water fountain, it looks immaculate and new, and there's plenty of grass space and patio space for all your guests.
I would recommend this venue to any of my friends and family - and if I could do my wedding all over again, I'd pick this place time after time!
