I wish I could give 6 stars!!!!! The Stone Terrace has been amazing and gone above and beyond, especially during a pandemic. We had our engagement party, micro wedding reception, bridal shower, and just had our full wedding reception (and after party) on Saturday. They made me feel so comfortable and Joelynn was always available to answer any questions I had. I gave them all of our decorations and they displayed it even better than I could have done myself. And the food - our guests are still raving about the food! Everything was so delicious. Service was amazing as well! I highly recommend having your event(s) here. I definitely plan on having my future events here.
The Stone terrace was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Joelynn handled our multiple requests and questions, was responsive, and really made the venue shine. This should be one of the top wedding spots in the area- the ballroom is beautiful, and the courtyard is AMAZING - the best I’ve seen after touring multiple venues in the area. The wedding night was wonderful, people are still raving about the food, and the setup is perfect. I was able to get ready in the comfortable and spacious bridal suites, and appreciated how flexible Joelynn was with dropping off and picking up things early. The drinks were strong and our only complaint was not having more time!
Absolutely incredible. We have nothing but praise for the Stone Terrace. My husband and I were married two weeks ago and we were absolutely delighted with the service we received. We worked directly with Joelynn for two years planning our wedding. The Stone Terrace was able to help us plan a fusion Indian/American wedding and was open to many of our non-traditional requests. The food was fantastic and all of our guests raved about how wonderful the venue looked. We had both our ceremony and reception here. We planned to have the ceremony outside on the beautiful patio but, at last minute, we had to revert to a rain plan. The Stone Terrace was able to transform the venue so quickly and still make it the ceremony setting of our dreams. Everything was so organized and all of the staff were willing to accommodate us and our guests. I highly recommend having your wedding here to anyone. We will remember this day forever and Stone Terrace was absolutely a part of making that happen. Thank you!
SO SO happy with how our wedding turned out at the Stone Terrace! The venue is beautiful, the food was HOT and delicious, the wait staff was polite and attentive, and it was fairly priced! Joelynn was professional and helpful making wedding planning a breeze, and they were able to accommodate every request we had without an issue. Multiple guests commented how it was the best wedding they've attended, and we could not recommend The Stone Terrace enough!
We got married 11/11/16 and spent around 20k$ here. They never refilled any of our food or WATER in the bridal suite and gave us an attitude when we asked for water. The woman in charge of taking care of us and running our wedding LEFT as soon as we walked down the aisle and no one told us. Not one person asked us if we needed anything or followed us around as we were promised to have a person attached to us getting us food or drinks. We didn’t cut our cake until 10:30 wedding ended at 11, because that lady left and our photographer had to tell us to cut the cake. We saw the owner laughing in the bar when we left and she never said a word to us. Never an explanation for why they didn’t care about giving us good service or why they broke every single promise they made to us, but they sure took all of our money. You can have a much better managed wedding elsewhere in Hamilton. Thankfully our dj and photographer who are in no way associated to the stone terrace were wonderful. They ruined our special day by being so rude and unprofessional. I would love to give more examples of promises they did not fulfill such as having Jameson in the bridal suite for my husband if anyone would like to know. DO NOT BOOK HERE. They are full of lies.
We just had our wedding at the Stone Terrace yesterday and one of the first things we wanted to do afterwards was let everyone know the amazing experience we had working with Tricia and everyone there. Our wedding day was beyond anything we could have ever expected it to be. When we first met with Tricia a year ago, she was able to answer every question we had and any request we had thought of. We felt so comfortable with her knowing that anything that may come up she would have taken care of. I cannot stress enough how wonderful she was to work with and confident I was that she would have everything perfect on that day. She made us feel as if we were her family. During the planning process she and her staff were extremely helpful and quick to respond with anything we were wondering or wanting to change. It was the most stress free wedding planning working with Tricia and her staff. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, we needed a backup plan in case the weather did not pan out. Luckily we did not have to resort to that, but if need be, Tricia and her staff were prepared and ready to change the set up right before hand if need be to accommodate the weather. The Stone Terrace Staff was fabulous on the day of our wedding. The room was set up exactly how we wanted it, and everyone worked diligently to ensure it ran smoothly. Francesca was extremely accommodating with the needs of the young children in our family and we cannot thank her enough. The bridal and grooms suite were filled with champagne and beverages for us to enjoy. The food was beyond incredible and there was no shortage of it at the cocktail hour, reception and dessert. We knew how great the food was already and were able to enjoy it again at the tasting. The food tasted just as great on the day of the wedding as it did at the tasting. All of our guests raved about how much they enjoyed the food and the variety of choices there were. The staff worked like a well oiled machine and were always available for whatever anyone needed during the night. We had plenty of room for dancing and fun and no table felt cramped near another. We highly recommend having a wedding or any event at The Stone Terrace and we are so grateful to have held our special day there.
I can only start this by saying: book your wedding here, now. It was the best decision I could have made in this wedding process - and for your money, you won't find a better venue in the Mercer County area in my opinion.
My parents have been coming here for dinner for years- and anyone who has been here knows the food is PHENOMENAL. Even though this is one of my favorite places- my husband actually picked the venue because he loved the food from a wedding we went to, and from having been to the restaurant a few times. I can say from not just my wedding but other events- there is NO loss in quality for the food for events- our guests are STILL raving about all the amazing food - from the bacon wrapped scallops to the fact that every filet mignon was perfectly cooked. (Seriously - the amount of food we had was INSANE, and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious.)
Tricia Russo went above and beyond for us - listening to every request I had, and she knew what was best for my vision for the wedding. For example: I forgot that a YEAR ago when we booked the venue, I said I wanted gold silverware. I only mentioned it once- but she remembered, and it was there that night. They pay close attention to detail - from the colors, to the signature drink, to the raspberries in our champagne glasses - there was not a single detail that went forgotten, and while I got a lot of the credit for that as a bride- I would not have had half the wedding I had hoped for without The Stone Terrace and Tricia. She's so good that when my husband & I walked through the ballroom before the reception & mentioned we barely had time for 1 appetizer at the cocktail hour, she met us up in the bridal suite with food less than 10 minutes later- and honestly, I could rave about just THAT for days.
I could go on forever about the ways they went above and beyond for us: they had specialty plates with extra salad & pasta for us, assuming we wouldn't have much time to eat. They had a waiter asking to get us drinks so we wouldn't have to go to the bar while trying to talk to everyone. They checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was what we wanted. They took in the ridiculous amount of items we brought (photos in frames, guestbook, table numbers, place cards, lanterns, even candle votives!) and made sure they were all used in a thoughtful and creative way.
The venue itself is gorgeous- the dance floor is perfectly centered with the tables around it - so no tables are tucked in any corners & everyone feels the urge to get up and dance. Their outdoor ceremony / cocktail hour area is GORGEOUS - there's a water fountain, it looks immaculate and new, and there's plenty of grass space and patio space for all your guests.
I would recommend this venue to any of my friends and family - and if I could do my wedding all over again, I'd pick this place time after time!
Extremely rude event management. Non-responsive. Staff does not communicate with one another. My bridal shower "surprise" was ruined at the last minute due to the maitre'd being unaware of the event and the event manager claims "this was not her (or any staff member's) responsibility" She then proceeded to blame someone who quit. To put the icing on the cake - she claimed that we had a signature drink AT the event that was complimentary (which was agreed upon prior to the event) and she said we could consider that our compensation. After weeks of never hearing back from anyone, she finally replied to an email in a disgusting and unprofessional manner. We have this in writing from her - and are happy to share as a warning to other prospective patrons. The party was wonderful other than the poor staff but kindness goes a very long way- we won't return - you shouldn't either!
