We were the on the groom's side, but you would never know it by the attention and care offered our side during the run up to the wedding and the actual wedding weekend. Susan and her entire team supported all our requests with precision and enthusiasm even though they were hired by the bride and her family to help plan and manage the wedding. We used Susan for month of/day of services and can easily say that working with her was THE most important and best decision we made in the wedding process. Having Susan truly gave me/my mom the ability to enjoy the day to the fullest. Having Susan gave us confidence that all was working behind the scenes and avoided us having to think about timeline, who/what needs to be when, how they're getting there, etc. I cannot express what a special and priceless a gift it was to not have to think about any of that stuff and to just be able to focus on the day and being in the moment. From recommendations of GREAT vendors to making sure that all our family items were collected at the end (and back at our hotel!) there was no detail left undone. I can’t say enough about our fabulous wedding planner Susan Norcross from The Styled Bride. We worked with Susan from right after my daughters engagement, I would not have it any other way. Susan guided us through all vendor selections and negotiations, anything regarding our 5/20/23 wedding she advised us through the process. Any questions or concerns we had, she guided us. The day before and day of, we don’t know what we would have done without her. She masterfully orchestrated the entire day of our wedding, we could not have such a beautiful wedding with out The Styled bride.

There are not enough accolades that I could say to truly capture the excellence of Susan Norcross. From DAY 1 she was responsive, professional, immensely helpful, and helped guide us in our decision making which was much needed and appreciated. Susan is the perfect wedding planner. Working with Susan for 2+ years was one of the best parts of getting married. Not only is she incredibly tasteful, detailed oriented and creative, she is professional, kind, patient and so well organized. The vendor team she assembled for us was second to none, and truly the best in the business. They were also all such wonderful people who were a joy to be around. Susan elevated every idea we had and provided such wise and helpful guidance when we got stuck on any given decision (of which there are many in planning). We are a highly opinionated couple with sometimes conflicting points of view and very Type A, and Susan’s ability to mediate and find outcomes that everyone was happy with deserves special mention. Susan was a rockstar in the planning of our wedding. At every turn, she made the process as smooth as possible by suggesting options she referenced from her extensive past experience. Susan also helped us in planning a wedding from overseas for a large portion of our planning process. There’s nothing else to say about Susan and The Styled Bride other than: hire them. Susan and her team are some of the best in the industry and have so much experience and knowledge. Susan is incredibly professional, unbelievably detail-oriented, and organized. Leading up to the wedding, she helped us by coordinating a Zoom meeting with our DJ, corresponding with other vendors and filling out questionnaires, and supporting us with small details we never would’ve thought of on our own. The day of the wedding was a completely different story. We truly would’ve been LOST without Susan and her team directing the timeline of the day. She made sure everything was running smoothly; distributed all of our vendor tips, helped me out of my wedding dress to change into my reception dress, took all of our valuables and belongings from the venue back to the hotel suite, and more. My fiancée had a spot on her suit lapel during first look photos - Susan whips out a stain remover wipe. My dad struggled to get his adhesive tie patch (a gift from me) onto his tie - Susan whips out double-sided tape. The list goes on. We are so truly grateful for all of the support from Susan and her team and would without hesitation recommend her to any bride/couple.

Susan is THE absolute best! She handled my sister's wedding this past weekend and will be handling mine in a few months. This is legitimately the first time I've felt compelled/strong enough to written a review about anything (restaurant/store/person/product). Susan thinks of anything and everything - from ensuring the perfect timeline to preparing for any possible little thing that can come up and need something. She has a suitcase of items that seem to have a solution for anything and everything! It's the littlest things that you never think of that she is ready for and has an answer for. There are too many things to even write about but two things that come to mind are that right before photos a bridesmaid became covered in white paint down the front of her black dress and Susan had some magic stain remover and saved the day. Then, when we were at the cathedrale, we realized my grandmother was stuck in traffic and had not arrived yet. She kept her cool and composure and ensured the church would hold up / wait until she arrive. The best thing about Susan is she NEVER seems stressed or concerned and makes you feel confident that everything will be OK. Going through watching her in action on my sister's wedding day gave me all the piece of mind in the world and has already eased any stress around my future wedding day knowing that she'll be there!

Do yourself a favor and hire Susan for your wedding. I felt like guests at our wedding the night truly was perfect. We had a bridesmaid 5 minutes before leaving for the ceremony somehow get paint on her dress. Susan got the paint out of her dress and got us to the ceremony on time. She is a magician!!! She thinks of every.little.detail you could possibly need.

If someone were to “pop the question” around whether I’d hire Susan and her team again, my answer would be a very enthusiastic, “Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!” Susan and her team are SO organized, SO professional, and SO lovely to work with. For starters, we delayed our wedding by two years because of COVID…so naturally, there were certain details I just totally forgot about. Fortunately, Susan didn’t. She’d remind me of whatever comments I’d made two years prior, follow up on things I didn’t even realize we’d talked about, and keep my family and me on track when we needed it most. She came to as many of our appointments with other vendors as possible, asking smart questions and helping us make strategic decisions along the way. On the day of the wedding (which we had at the Fillmore in Fishtown), every single member of her team was ON, helping us squash little issues and stay as much on schedule as possible. Her team was quick, attentive, and lovely all-around. They’re exactly what you want in a wedding planning team—they’re kind, yet firm. They’re cattle herders, but with a friendly touch. And most of all, they know what they’re doing and make you feel like you can relax and let them take care of you and your loved ones on your special day.

Susan and her team are nothing short of amazing. I am THRILLED we chose The Styled Bride as our wedding planner. Susan is so knowledgeable, professional, realistic, and honest. I still don’t understand how she does it all and remains so calm, cool, and collected. I can't recommend Susan and her team enough. First, planning a wedding is a year-long process. There are SO many decisions to make leading up to the day of the wedding. I can't imagine how much time, energy and stress my husband and I would have spent on every decision without Susan's guidance. It's such a relief to have someone in your corner you can trust that knows what they're doing. I always hear about brides that are SO stressed the month leading up to their wedding because of all the details. We were not stressed at all - everything was completely planned and organized. We laid out in the sun the weekend before our wedding because we literally had nothing to do. Susan truly made the wedding planning process so easy. Second, the day of the wedding can be extremely hectic. We had two members from Susan's team with us - Kate and Arielle - and they were UNBELIEVABLE. An issue would pop into my head, I would start mentioning it to Kate, and she would already have it covered. They are literally solving problems that you don't even realize are happening. Having two people there is also a MUST. One planner assisted me through most of the day and the other kept my husband on track. The day went so smooth and I was able to enjoy every single minute of it because I was able to rely on them to worry about the timeline and all the other details. I also want to emphasize that Susan and her team are really kind, smart women. Planning a wedding is a huge deal and I think it's so important to pick your planner and vendors carefully, and make sure they are people you want to be around and work with during stressful times. The Styled Bride team are not only amazing at what they do, but they are lovely people to work with. I highly recommend them to any bride.

Susan is beyond compare. Everyone was talking about how smoothly the wedding went and it was thanks to her. I never had to stress about anything as I knew Susan would take care of it. Any questions I had, she was an expert. She knew exactly what to do. Something that I believe is very important is that every vendor we worked with trusted Susan and had glowing things to say about her. I hired Susan for the “month of” package. Susan was amazing and made us feel completely relaxed the day of our wedding, even when a winter storm hit and we had to update our “day of timeline” last minute. Susan thought of everything and even brought something for me to walk on to take pictures in the snow so my dress didn’t get ruined! She was running around and doing everything behind the scenes… brought the bouquets, cake, and personal items back to our room and tidied up while we were at the after party. Best decision we made was hiring Susan Norcross of The Styled Bride as the planner for our daughter’s wedding. This may be a love note to our wedding planner! Susan took the time to help our daughter and son-in-law develop a vision for their wedding, and worked with us to make that vision a reality on her wedding day. And, I should note- Susan spent plenty of time with our daughter and son-in-law planning….this is just a MOB perspective/review! Susan has great taste and was able to offer guidance in every planning detail. She gave us a timeline and then guided us so that we naturally followed the timeline. We received monthly status updates and budget updates so we stayed on top of everything. And Susan is calm and has so much experience she can guide you through any decision. The vendors Susan referred us to were outstanding, and it was evident that they all loved working with The Styled Bride. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our team was and Susan’s thoughtfulness in finding just the right people to work with us. We love everyone we worked with- invitations, floral designer, caterer, cake baker, band (off the charts, dance floor packed the entire night), ceremony musicians, photographer, videographer…. I feel like Susan just knows everyone and every place, and she made sure that everything our daughter and son-in-law (and we) wanted to happen did! Susan is super creative and, when combined with her creative vendors, the wedding weekend had details that reflected the couple throughout- from the hotel welcome boxes to the favors at the end of the reception! And, since execution is the goal—on the weekend of the wedding, Susan’s entire team was terrific. We planned a weekend of events including museum tours and a morning run with the groom followed by a surprise at a newly opened venue - all of which took organization and was flawless. And, of course, we had a couple of “pivots” in the process, and they handled that well - including my redoing the tables two hours before the wedding due to Covid cancellations-and somehow the team managed to redo the escort cards. The Styled Bride team was fabulous at the wedding- making sure all went according to plan! The entire wedding weekend was a dream that The Styled Bride executed flawlessly.

It is really hard to put into words how incredible Susan is. She can quite literally do it all. To be honest, I’m not sure what Susan can’t do. When beginning to plan our wedding, we knew we needed a wedding planner who was organized, knowledgeable, and would be able to take our ideas and bring them to life. Susan went above and beyond for our wedding at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, bringing our dreams to life in the most unbelievable way. I had very high expectations about what I wanted our wedding to become and Susan at the Styled Bride met every single one of them - speaking to me almost daily for 2 years to ensure this vision was developed with care and that every detail was accounted for. I literally don't know what we would have done without Susan. Due to our budget and some creative things that I wanted to do, we booked her "month-of coordination services," not full wedding planning. I have no idea how we would have handled setting everything up and thinking through all of the day-of (and rehearsal) details. Her knowledge and organizational skills were totally invaluable. I had a lot of items/crafts that needed to be put out, some with little instruction because I was unsure of the table sizes/placements, etc. but everything looked absolutely incredible. Much better than I could have done myself. To top it all off, our venue called me the morning of our wedding about more clarification they received around masks. (Despite all of our guests being vaccinated, they said that because of their own staffing issues we would all have to be masked for the entire wedding. They refused to budget or work with us at all.) Susan took over and completely pulled through for us, pushing the venue to outsource staff... honestly I'm not even sure what she did. It was a miracle. It was so nice too to go back to the hotel with the rest of the guests and not worry about packing up or anything like that. 10/10 would recommend.

So it seems compelling to start by saying that my wife and I don’t typically write and post reviews unless services experienced are EXTREMELY good or bad. In this case it would be extremely good. From the very first consult we had with Susan at THE STYLED BRIDE we knew we were in very qualified and experienced hands. Honestly I personally didn’t even think a wedding planner would be necessary when first recommended. Wow, turns out to be the best advice of that event. There were hundreds of details snd coordinating issues that I would not even have thought of and The Styled Bride seemed to effortlessly breeze us through with their forged and proven process. ( And I might note that this was at the Philadelphia Art Museum which has for very good reasons , some very special regulations and throw in The Covid situation .) Susan and her team handled all the aggravation but at the same time was very attentive to what our daughter ( & the groom ) was envisioning for their wedding. One of the most impressive observations was the actual weekend ( at the hotel ) and the wedding day at the museum. There were a gazillion details and Susan and her team appeared to me like a “ Secret Service Detail” planted by our side to handle any and every issue planned or not planned that we encountered. Given this challenging year, you planned and then had to replan and Susan was right there by our sides helping to figure it all out. Our wedding spanned 2 days, Susan and her team were an integral part of each day and TRULY enabled myself and our family to enjoy both days. Everything ran so smoothly, there was a wonderful calmness for family and bride and groom across both days. Susan and Carly were a dream team. When our large June 2020 wedding couldn't happen due to COVID, they were warm, empathetic, and very clear about what our options were and ultimately helped us make the best decision for our families. Over the course of 6-8 weeks they helped us completely pivot from a museum wedding downtown to an intimate wedding in my parents' front yard - they proved that they can really do it all. My mom always had the mindset of "we can do it on our own," but after working with Susan and Carly, she was the first to admit that we couldn't have done it without them. They were detail oriented and made sure that everything in the background went smoothly, while also being helpful and kind to all of our vendors. The cherry on top was that they were fun to have around on our big day. I remember turning to Carly and asking for a cocktail during formal photos and she flashed her big smile and made it happen. Susan helped us replan our large wedding which was cancelled due to COVID to a smaller celebration. She was absolutely incredible. We would recommended her to anyone planning a wedding of any size. Hiring Susan for partial planning was one of the best decisions my now-wife made during the wedding planning process (aside from agreeing to marry me). Susan kept on top of the details and made things happen for us - even when COVID-19 got in the way. From Day One to Day-Of, I felt that I could trust her opinion and her expertise to help us get the most out of the event. When I first began planning my wedding, the first thing my sister said to me was: hire Susan Norcross. I am so grateful for this suggestion. Susan was a godsend during these tumultuous times. When we had to pivot our wedding from a 160+ soiree in the city to an intimate microwedding in our backyard, Susan was there to help us make what we thought was "the best of a bad situation" into "the best wedding ever." Susan is easy to work with and wonderfully communicative. Whatever questions we had, she was right there with an answer or proposed solution. She made the preparation easy and reminded us of things we might forget-- like to make sure to have certain kinds of lighting during our outdoor evening event. I also appreciated how she kept in touch with all of our vendors and organized all of the communication with the wide array of people making our day happen. She checked in with us frequently, but we were given the opportunity during the last few stressful weeks of our wedding, not to have to worry so much about the various intricate logistics and I am very grateful. During the wedding, Susan was there to help us through the day, easing us through the shifts from pictures to ceremony to dancing to dinner. The night flew by and was truly spectacular. I felt like we were in remarkably competent hands and I would recommend Susan to ANYONE who wants to have a dream wedding.

I owe Susan and her team a much longer review than the one I am about to leave, but there isn’t enough time and my thumbs can only type so quickly on a smart phone so I’ll give every bride to be one very simple piece of advice - #getsusan Imagine a two day wedding, planning from 1500 miles away, a bridal party of 13 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen, a double decker bus, a Catholic ceremony, a Muslim ceremony, 2 receptions, 2 different venues, did I mention planning from 1500 miles away? Susan and her team managed it all with such grace. She’s the boss lady you don’t want to have to be on your wedding day. People told me I was just smiles for two whole days even though I was the only one who knew the weekend plans. Not true. Susan knew every planned shenanigan from the double decker tour bus to be our baraat to making sure I got a photo in front of city hall before it was too dark. It was seamless. Susan was incredible to work with! We did month-of planning. She is so detail-oriented, and it became very apparent to us early on that we would be able to trust Susan & team to help us execute our vision on our wedding day! Furthermore, my wedding was traditional Greek Orthodox - and Susan was familiar (and had plenty of experience!) with how these weddings/ceremonies typically go, and all the moving parts and different personalities with the Greek church ceremony, Greek band at the reception, Greek family, etc etc.. I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with The Styled Bride. We selected the month-of package with Susan as we had an idea of some of the major decisions we wanted to make, but had a very large guest count and knew that we needed help coordinating vendors and details leading up to the big day. Susan made what could have been a stressful wedding planning process a fun one. We are so happy that we decided to use The Styled Bride as our wedding planner. We decided we only needed a month-of planner and Susan was extremely helpful right from the get-go. We had a call a few months out and Susan was available to answer any/all of our questions at any point leading up to the wedding. She definitely went above and beyond and assisted us even before it was technically the month of our wedding. She attended all of our meetings with the venue/catering people, organized all our vendor drop-offs and contracts, and made a thorough itinerary for our big day. After pretty much every time we had a meeting, call or email with Susan we found ourselves saying "thank goodness we have Susan on our team." In addition from all the work she did leading up to the wedding, she was crucial during our rehearsal and on our wedding day. Her and her staff made everything run smoothly, made sure everyone got where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there, and took care of all the moving parts (they also lent us several items for the day e.g. cake stand, card box etc. free of charge). We totally felt safe in Susan's hands, and were able to just relax and enjoy our bid day knowing every little thing would be taken care of.
