The Sycamore at Mallow Run

I cannot recommend a better place in/around indy to get married. This venue is absolutely beautiful! And The staff is so accommodating and helpful. Our coordinator was Libby and we did not have to deal with any vendors at all! She did all of that for us which helped the day be so much more relaxed. She helped give me tips on decorating as she knows more about the venue than me. All the way from booking until the day of our wedding communication was extremely amazing even though I got scatter brained at the end before the wedding Libby never got frustrated and answered the same questions for me probably a 100 times! Absolutely a great place to get married!

I could not suggest a better place to get married. The venue is absolutely beautiful! The staff and coordinators are so, kind and helpful. They work well with other vendors and do there best to make the day stress free and perfect. I can't thank them enough for letting my use them as my venue!!!!

We had our wedding on 01/08/2022 at Mallow Run and it was absolutley beautiful! We had the perfect day and nothing went wrong. I wish we could go back and do it again! A beautiful venue with amazing staff and bar service. All of our guest had a great time and complemented every moment of it! I would 100% recommend to any coupled looking for a elegant venue with a little rustic side!

I got married to my high school sweetheart on 10/3/21 at the sycamore at mallow run. It was the PERFECT venue for us. Beautiful, spacious and elegant. Every single guest commented on how beautiful the location was, with dark woods and big open windows to let in a lot of natural light. It made decorating for the wedding so easy because you really didn’t need a lot to make it beautiful. Bobbi was our venue coordinator and was amazing! They helped so much with the preparations and had alot of decorations ready to use, which really helped ease the stress. Beautiful venues, wonderful staff, and overall best day of my life! I would recommend the sycamore to everyone!

The Sycamore was beautiful and everything I wanted for my wedding. However, I felt that there was a lack of communication amongst the people working and preparing for my wedding. I signed my contract Oct. 2019. They did not speak with me about any of the timing until about 1-2 months before my wedding. When I originally signed my contract, I was under the impression that I was able to enter the room 1 hour before the scheduled start time, and had 30 mins after to clean up. However, the person we signed with no longer worked there, and we were then told that we had from 4-11. The issue was, my ceremony was at 4:30, and they would not let me change it because another wedding also had their ceremony at that time. The Sycamore is lucky that they were willing to let us come in at 3:30 while they were setting up tables, or honestly, the review would be worse. Their miscommunications amongst each other made planning and finalizing extremely stressful. It was beautiful, though.

We had our wedding reception at the Sycamore at Mallow Run this past weekend. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. We had the Homestead room rented for the cocktail hour. When the caterers were running late, the staff (Specifically Bobbi, our wedding coordinator) took charge and arranged a solution to allow for the entire cocktail hour to happen flawlessly. The dinner and party happened in the Estate room following the cocktail hour. Bobbi and the sycamore staff arranged the room with all linens and tables ready for our florist to swoop in and set up easily. The grounds and buildings of this event space were absolutely stunning. All of our guests repeatedly commented on how beautiful the vineyard and event space was. I am so happy that we choose the Sycamore to host our special day. On another note, the Sycamore was the most understanding vendor when it came to the pandemic. Our wedding was originally scheduled for July 2020. However, we were bringing over 100 people from NJ, where Covid was hitting hard. The sycamore allowed us to change our date and honored our original contract with no questions asked. They are great to work with and you will not find a prettier country venue in Indiana!

We had our wedding reception here in June 2021 and it was incredible. The Estate room was so beautiful and I would choose this location again in a heartbeat. Our coordinator Bobbi was awesome to work with and always responded to any questions or concerns quickly.

I had my wedding here on 06/05/2021, rescheduled from 06/13/2020 and I have only good things to say about my experience. They accommodated my request to reschedule with no hassle at all. Then when the time finally came for our wedding everything was absolutely perfect. I worked with Bobbi and she was so helpful when planning and setting up. We made some very last minute changes and still everything went off without a hitch. Aside from perfect execution, the venue is gorgeous. It is the perfect amount of rustic and romantic all in one. The vineyard is so beautiful in the summer, it makes the perfect spot for wedding photos. I could not be happier with our choice to have The Sycamore host our big day! So many of our guests commented on what a great wedding it was and that is largely in part to the venue and amazing team. If you are considering booking here let this be a sign to go for it because you will absolutely not regret it.

We had our wedding in December of 2020 at The Sycamore. Kim was so easy to work with and met with us multiple times as things kept changing with COVID. We were actually in a meeting with her when we learned we could only have 25 guests at our wedding. Kim was so flexible and helped us re-work the entire day! The wedding and reception could not have gone more smoothly and a large part of that is due to Kim! We are so thankful for her and would definitely recommend this beautiful venue to anyone hosting any sort of event!

Kim Walls & Hannah Graphman are absolute angels. They were so supportive and easy to communicate with during our wedding planning. We knew from the moment we walked in that this was our venue and they worked so hard to make our dreams come true! Especially during the pandemic, they gave us advice and walked us through what was needed from us to make sure we had our wedding in a safe environment. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but Kim & Hannah were the true stars! Highly recommend the venue to enjoy all of it's natural beauty that comes with it. We couldn't have asked for a better day!!

The Sycamore could not have been more perfect for our wedding! Everything was beautiful and we did not have to spend a lot of money on decorations since the venue speaks for itself. Our guests felt comfortable, even with COVID19, since we were able to space out and the grounds outside were open to be explored. Kim was very understanding when we had to postpone our original wedding date and helped us reschedule to a new date quickly. The Sycamore also offers a preferred vendor night a few times throughout the year that is free. It saved us a ton of time, since we were able to speak with florists, caterers, and photographers all in one day! I also highly recommend choosing vendors from their preferred vendor list. It helped prevent us from becoming overwhelmed with choices, and allowed the day of to function smoothly since these vendors work with The Sycamore frequently. Both my husband and I would highly recommend choosing The Sycamore at Mallow Run for any wedding or event!

Corona bride here. Three weeks before our original date I couldn't get a hold of ANYONE at the venue. It took us calling the winery and begging to talk to someone to get anyone to call us back. Talk about stressful as everything was still shut down and there was no way we'd have a wedding in May. We originally had a coordinator named Dakota, and communication was awful with her. She had us use use this event website, which is fine, but there is no email trail or any way we could look at messages or send emails between vendor and both my now husband and myself. It created a lot of frustration and double emails. Another point on Dakota is she would take forever to respond to us and made it extremely hard for us to have any confidence in the venue especially when we were already panicked from Covid. She even told us at one point for an early May wedding "Well we still plan to go forward if you can have 50 people there." She is one of the least empathetic people I've met in my entire life. Our saving grace was the coordinator Bobbi, but if I had one thing to say I'd have really liked her to direct guests when they got there. This should not have been a job for my family. Another reason to knock the Sycamore is they nickle and dime you with a high price to begin with. We wanted one extra table and they were going to charge us for that. They charge if you do or don't want string lights. I feel like I should say, this is a beautiful venue, and some coordinators are amazing.

My husband and I had such a hard time finding a venue that we loved until we found The Sycamore at Mallow Run. The very first meeting we had with Laura really set the tone for how helpful and kind the people who work at The Sycamore are. Through our whole planning (during a pandemic) we never had any troubles reaching anyone or getting our questions answered and they were very willing to work with us through all the uncertainties. Even with changing our date and having to change our ceremony from outside to inside (due to rain), I can still come out of it all saying that I had a beautiful wedding and that nothing went crazy wrong! Our coordinator Bobbi was just so kind and worked hard to coordinate with everyone all the changes that had to happen! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend it to anyone!

The Sycamore at Mallow Run is situated on a picturesque landscape and the reception areas inside are just as beautiful! The flow and layout made for a most welcoming and comfortable feel when guests arrived for the wedding. Prior to the reception, we had plenty of seating by the beautiful fireplace as well as ample seating outside where multiple fire pit areas were romantically decked out in cafe lights. We were fortunate to have the guidance of Bridgette, our wedding coordinator. She was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish and made the planning process a smooth one for us. Her attention to detail, knowledge and years of experience shined through in every aspect of the days events. We appreciated Bridgette’s kind and calm presence while she executed all our wishes and requests behind the scenes. We had a positive and memorable experience and have only good things to say about the entire staff, Bridgette, Bobbi and Kim and the event space at The Sycamore at Mallow Run. We highly recommend them!

The Sycamore at Mallow Run was the perfect venue for our fall Indiana wedding. We were looking for a rustic elegant venue where we could have both our ceremony and reception inside. The Sycamore's layout supports this beautifully. It allowed us to have the intimate ceremony we were looking for in the smaller Homestead Room, followed by cocktail hour in the Gallery, and then reception in the larger Estate Room. In addition to being a gorgeous venue with stunning grounds, the staff is fantastic. Hannah, who was our coordinator, ensured that all of our questions were answered and any concerns we had addressed. As a bride without a wedding planner, it was incredibly helpful to me that Hannah took the lead on coordinating day of details with all of our vendors and did so flawlessly. She thought of everything we didn't and did an amazing job making sure the day of went smoothly. I would highly recommend the Sycamore at Mallow Run to any couple.

I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing wedding venue! The venue is beautiful inside and out. We picked this venue to have our ceremony outside, however, it rained ALL day and we had to have our ceremony inside. It honestly didn’t matter where the ceremony was held because it was still just as stunning. From the day I met with the owner, Laura, until the day of the wedding, we were in awe of how awesome the staff here is. Our wedding coordinator, Bridgette, was phenomenal! She ensured that our wedding vision became a reality and was very helpful throughout the planning process. If there was an issue, she was willing to fix it and she really went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. On the day of the wedding, Bridgette and the rest of the Sycamore staff ensured that we had everything we needed at all times. I was truly grateful to such hard-working people available on our big day. I would recommend The Sycamore at Mallow Run without hesitation!

My son and his bride selected The Sycamore at Mallow Run for their November wedding and the venue could not have been more perfect! The landscape is beautiful and the lit fire pits allowed our guests to enjoy the view of the vineyards and gorgeous sunset even during the cool evening air! Lovely decorations inside add a homey feel to the venue. Beautiful fall flowers and candles adorned the fireplace mantel and we were pleasantly surprised that the fire was ablaze for the ceremony. This venue has suites available for both the bridal party and groomsmen to allow them to dress and relax before the ceremony. The spaces have private restrooms and you will also find a TV to entertain the guys while they wait! The staff at The Sycamore are professional, communicative, and personable. They answered ever question and provided all they could to make the event match the bride and groom's wishes! The bartenders were friendly and welcoming as well! Our guests commented throughout the evening about the beauty of the venue and the delicious food prepared by Sweet & Savory! You can't go wrong in choosing The Sycamore at Mallow Run for your special event!

The Sycamore was a beautiful venue for our wedding. We loved the venue the first time we visited and got lucky with beautiful wedding day weather. The staff is friendly, organized, and relatively reasonably priced. This venue is beautiful and worth the money! Only recommendation is having family/friends willing to help set-up/tear down because your day of coordinator only helps with some aspects of this, not all.

My husband and I got married at The Sycamore this past weekend and everything was spectacular! We continue to hear rave reviews from our guests about how gorgeous this space is, and we no doubt agree!! Both the inside and outside of this venue do enough for itself, with needing little to no decor. It's just breathtaking as is! The staff was wonderful to work with and so attentive in making our big day a huge success!! We loved this venue and want to be able to relive our amazing day over and over again :) We would not doubt recommend this venue! I will say the venue can get pricey depending on what all you are wanting - which room you select, the time frame you want the space, and the bar time/package you select. But we would choose this space over and over again!!

Our dream wedding was made possible thanks to The Sycamore at Mallow Run! This was only the second venue we toured when we began planning our wedding, and we were sold from the moment we walked through the front doors. The location and facilities are absolutely beautiful and the perfect mix of rustic and modern. Furthermore, the staff are truly dedicated to making sure that your wedding day is perfect. We loved how everything was on-site, from the ceremony and reception areas to the bridal/groom suites. Our venue coordinator, Bobbi, was a dream to work with. She was flexible, communicative, and friendly. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was, despite the torrential rains we had on our wedding day! We really can't say enough good things and look forward to recommending this venue to all of our family and friends in the future!

This venue is amazing on its own but more importantly the staff is incredible! Each event is assigned a coordinator and we had Bobbi help us with everything we needed for our wedding. We had both our wedding and reception in the Estate Room. We had our ceremony, room switch - cocktail hour in the gallery, and then reception. Bobbi was incredible to work with and made our dream wedding a reality. The space is flexible and full of possibilities. They have their own bar in the gallery which is very affordable and you get to include Mallow Run wines in your package. They have many rent-able items such as a baby grand piano and decor items you can choose to use or not. We rented the piano and it was well worth it. There are fireplaces and fire pits throughout the area and we used them all during our winter wedding. They added such a spectacular visual to the space. It was so nice to have a venue that had enough indoor space to be able to have the event and take photos so we didn't have to deal with the elements outside.

A++++++ We had an issue in the beginning that was handled promptly and professionally. Our wedding was the most amazing day thanks to Kim, our coordinator. She steered us when we needed direction and helped us carry out ideas when we wanted something. Our day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without her. I cannot imagine my Type A personality leaving my wedding in anyone else’s hands. Our day was magical and everything we ever hoped for.

We fell in love with the Sycamore from the moment that we saw it! Not only is it beautiful inside and outside, but their staff is downright amazing. We had Autumn as our wedding coordinator and she was a true JOY! She was so incredibly quick to respond to emails, flexible with the bar package that we choose, and was on it on the day of the wedding. Autumn is truly someone who you want to be involved in your wedding from the small to large details. She will help you every step of the way. We are so happy that we choose the sycamore to get married at! Every single guest told us how beautiful and nice the venue was. They also have an outdoor area with fire-pits and heaters where guests can go out and enjoy the beautiful night. The bar service was also fantastic! They made great cocktails, provided so many options for beer and wine, and even let us have a couple cocktail (which was amazing). They were so far I don't think people hardly stood in line for a drink. Thank you Autumn and staff for truly making our day so incredibly special. If you are looking for a venue - stop looking and go booth sycamore!

We had our wedding in August 2018 at The Sycamore at Mallow Run, a fairly-new event center that’s down the road from Mallow Run Winery just south of Indianapolis. Planning a wedding can be a stressful time, but everything about The Sycamore helped mitigate that stress – the beautiful, calm setting; the convenience of the facilities; and the proactive, accommodating staff. After touring more than a half-dozen venues in the Indianapolis area (and looking at more online) we picked The Sycamore because of a calm feeling we felt there. With tall ceilings, large windows and lots of natural wood/stone (surrounded by a forest and vineyard), The Sycamore offers the beauty of an outdoor setting while still giving you a modern, indoor venue. We booked the Estate Room, and felt it provided plenty of room of our 150+ guest count. But what’s really great is that we were able to do everything on-site at The Sycamore – getting ready in their bridal/groom suites, the ceremony outside in a structure near the vineyard, the cocktail hour in their lobby, our photos right outside and the reception in the large hall. But perhaps the best thing about The Sycamore is its all-star staff. Libby, our event coordinator, went above and beyond in making sure we had every detail covered for our big day. The entire Sycamore team accommodated all of our requests – they’re the absolute best! We thoroughly recommend The Sycamore for your wedding – we had a great experience with this venue!

Our wedding was on October 28th and it was so amazing! Our ceremony was in the Homestead room and then we moved to the Estate room for the reception. All your needs can be met in one place with The Sycamore. When we first started the process of booking the location, there were a few hiccups (which seems like a uncommon occurrence) but the staff at The Sycamore worked fix those hiccups three fold. Bridgette was our coordinator and she was just the best! She made sure that our day went off without a hitch and it was truly the best day of our lives! Many times when you look at a venue online it isn't as gorgeous in person, well The Sycamore truly is! If you are looking for a beautiful winery wedding venue with an awesome staff look no further than The Sycamore!!

I don’t even know where to begin... the sycamore at mallow run is and was the most beautiful venue to have a wedding! My husband and i’s day was absolutely perfect and a big thank you goes to the sycamore for that! The staff was very easy to work with! So friendly, yes it is pricey but I’m telling you it’s like they sprinkle love in the air... it’s magical! I would highly recommend checking out this venue, I promise you will fall in love! The only thing is making sure you have the details of what you can and can’t do at the venue is important to know ahead of time!! It’s not a long list but you do want to make sure everyone is on the same page! Another thing that I loved about the sycamore is the day of wedding coordinator... Bridgette helped us not only with rehearsal but also the day of making sure everything ran smoothly without being hawk eyes during the whole thing! Like I said, the staff was amazing and very friendly! Thanks for making our day so amazing!

The Sycamore was the perfect location for our wedding reception! It is a gorgeous and unique venue that offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. We visited it on a whim during an open house, and chose not to see any other venues. Our families and guests had the best time and have not stopped complimenting our wedding. We had an event designer, Bridgette, that was super helpful the last month or two of planning and making sure everything went smoothly that night. Because Mallow Run and The Sycamore offer so many different events, we look forward to revisiting for years to come.

I got married at The Sycamore on August 18th and absolutely loved it! Our ceremony was outside and the reception was inside the Homestead Room. The building is gorgeous from both the inside and outside, so this is a great location if you’re wanting an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. It’s also a newer building, which is a bonus! Our event coordinator, Bobbi, was so easy and fun to work with! She helped me so much during the planning process and made sure our wedding day went smoothly. Overall, we had a very positive experience with this venue and would highly recommend it!

The venue is so beautiful and the staff is wonderful! I truly loved my wedding here. I was so fortunate to have them last minute switch my wedding to outdoors due to the weather forecast changing. It showed 80% chance of rain, but as the time got closer the radar changed and it didn't rain at all. Thankfully the staff made it happen and switched the ceremony set up to outdoors. I am so thankful they were able to make this happen. The only have two complaints I have from the day of the wedding that kept me from making it 5 stars. We were told to stay on our side of the venue for pictures, etc. and we had the smaller venue area, but the larger wedding came over to our side very close to the beginning of our ceremony. They thankfully moved but none of the staff approached them to fix this. The second is we had an open bar and they never told the DJ or announced a last call for drinks. I know this is something so little, but a wedding is a party and people shouldn't have to be staring at the clock to know oh no the bar service is almost over I better get plenty of drinks before then. Overall, it is a beautiful venue that is well taken care of and affordable for what you get. I am so thankful I chose to have my big day there and will always cherish the memories when I visit their winery.

The Sycamore is incredibly beautiful and was the perfect reception venue for us! Our wedding coordinator Bridgette was very helpful throughout the planning process and was always patient with me when I had a new set of questions every week! She was always friendly and positive and helpful in getting everything exactly the way we wanted it for our wedding day. We are so happy we had our wedding reception here and would definitely recommend it to others!

Other venues add on extra fees such as tables, chairs, and linens but the Sycamore includes these in the price. Our day-of coordinator, Kim took care of everything, and made our special day completely seamless. I would highly recommend the Sycamore to any engaged couple looking for a venue!

The Sycamore is the perfect venue for a wedding. The building and grounds are absolutely beautiful, you don't need much to make it perfect for your wedding - it speaks for itself. Your wedding photos will be stunning with the Sycamore in the backdrop and your guest will love it. A majority of our guests moved outside to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and breathtaking landscape (esp. since the vineyards were green). This is a very popular venue so don't wait to book your event. It is possible there will be another event the same time as yours but the staff does a great job of keeping your event as private as possible. There was a graduation party taking place in the smaller room at the same time as our wedding but we barely noticed so don't let it deter you from choosing this venue.

I got married at the Sycamore earlier this year in March. My day was absolutely beautiful! My event coordinator, Kim, was very helpful while I was planning my event, and was amazing at coordinating the day of. My maid of honor, who has been in 5-10 weddings already, said it was the smoothest coordination she had ever had during the day of a wedding. I was mainly behind the scenes while they worked with the DJ and other vendors. Laura was also very helpful and timely as I began planning my wedding in the months prior. The sycamore was very flexible in that they were able to accommodate all of our requests, include a date change for our wedding. I loved how open and beautiful the event space was - we never felt crowded and guests had the ability to explore, between the gallery, main room, and beautiful porches. This is a perfect space for someone who wants the feel of an outdoorsy wedding (as the location has options for both indoor and outdoor weddings). I would definitely recommend the Sycamore for anyone planning a wedding (or other events as well)!

The Sycamore venue is beautiful and we are happy we chose to have our wedding there. There are a few things that we feel they could improve on though. One of the biggest issues was that other potential clients were being shown around while we were trying to decorate and prepare for our day. Several groups and individuals were nosing around at our decor for quite a long period of time and we felt like they clearly didn’t belong there. Several guests from the wedding next door kept hanging around until I had to tell them they didn’t belong on our side. Also, the table cloths that the Sycamore staff put on the guestbook table and gift table were terribly wrinkled and looked bad. I’m glad we had a steamer with us and had the time to steam the table cloths because that was one of the first things guests see when they arrive. Our other issue was with our appointed coordinator Kim. She really needs to learn to listen and take notes and then look at her notes! She asked some of the same questions every time we met or spoke with her and then still forgot things on the day of the wedding. For example, she had told us when we first met with her that Sycamore staff would take care of putting out our appetizers/snacks in the gallery while the ceremony was going on. I had asked her to double check and make sure this would be done. Then on the day of the wedding she asked me who I had to do this! I told her she had told me her staff would and she said “Oh, I forgot”. This is just one example. She is very nice and tries to be helpful but she really needs to pay better attention and listen. There was a worker that sat up the chairs, etc. and she was an awesome worker. I wish I could remember her name because she went above and beyond! We were very happy with our florist, Shane White from Crister’s Florist in Morgantown, our caterer Sweet & Savory.

The Sycamore is absolutely stunning and was the perfect location for our winter wedding. The staff was super helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us brainstorm creative solutions. Our coordinator, Autumn, accommodated us well and paid attention to all of the details. Everyone also loved the hot cocoa bar!

Our daughter and son-in-law chose The Sycamore for their wedding reception. This is a stunning venue...large...massive beams...fireplaces...commercial kitchen...more than adequate restroom facilities. Our coordinator was Kim Walls. Kim went above and beyond to make sure the day was everything we wanted it to be. So happy we picked The Sycamore.

We had our wedding at the Sycamore at Mallow Run on 11/25/2017. When we first started planning, we were still toying with the idea of having a destination wedding with a reception back home. But as soon as we saw the Sycamore, all of those thoughts went out of the window. Any photo of the venue that you see is beautiful, but it really can’t be done justice until you see it in person. There is no other venue out there like it, and we are still so thankful that we were able to have our wedding there. Laura, Autumn and the entire staff were incredibly accommodating and so helpful, and they made sure everything at the wedding went off without a hitch. I would absolutely recommend a wedding at the Sycamore to anyone who asked!

I have only good things to say about the Sycamore at Mallow Run. First of all, take a look at the pictures, it is GORGEOUS. The way they have thoughtfully crafted the space to be every Bride's dream is evident. The fireplaces make this venue the perfect place for a fall/winter wedding. It is so cozy and beautiful. The space is open and offers a lot of natural light, with beautiful stonework and lots of wood, perfect for the boho earthy bride. It's such a beautiful venue you honestly don't need to worry that much about decorations. I haven't even mentioned how helpful and kind the staff are. They answer any question you have and give helpful suggestions. They go out of their way to make your day beautiful and stress-free. They communicate with your vendors and help run your rehearsal. I couldn't have done it without my Sycamore helpers. If you're on the fence, please choose The Sycamore. You will not be disappointed.

We had a stunning wedding at The Sycamore at Mallow Run! All of our guests kept talking about now nice and beautiful everything looked. The staff there is great and it was wonderful to have full access to inside and outside with firepits where people could mingle. Thank you for making our wedding great!

We loved our wedding and wedding night! The Sycamore was exactly what we were looking for-- outdoor ceremony, patio (with fans and shade) and an indoor reception area that wasn't in the basement (like all of the other venues offered small weddings). We were in the smaller homestead room, and other than a few logistical issues (guest had to go through the reception to get to the ceremony), the size was perfect. We had a fantastic night, but it was largely because had a fantastic team of girl friends to put everything on tables and decorate. They were on top of everything and worked well with our venue coordinator to resolve problems. I also had a friend serve as the coordinator to tell everyone when to walk. I do think it is important to warn brides that during the summer, every Saturday is a wine and pizza night with a party band at Mallow Run. I was very nervous about how loud it would be, but they did stop the music for our ceremony and we didn't notice it during the rest of the night because we had our own music. We originally were told there were no weddings before ours, but there ended up being one that ended an hour and a half before we arrived. Also the ceremony next to ours was a little loud during the ceremony and some people drifted over. Our venue coordinator shut the doors to reduce noise, but to be honest, my mind was else where and I didn't notice. Overall we had the best night of our lives and the venue was beautiful. We heard great feedback from our guests who were almost all from out of town. We recommend this venue!

So overall we were happy with our choice. It is absolutely stunning and you cannot go wrong with this venue. It has that comfortable outdoor whimsical boho feel without being "country", so it was the perfect fit for us and I wouldn't have changed our choice for anything! They lost a star because of a couple of things-they want to charge you for every little thing on top of the already expensive venue rental fee. This was one of the pricier venues we looked at, but we just fell in love with the location and feel of the space. We were ok with the price, but wish we would have realized all of the additional charges for silly things. Each cocktail table you want they charge for, even though they are just sitting in a closet on site anyways. The bartender fees are outrageous if you choose anything other than the bar packages (which don't make sense if the majority of your guests don't drink). They also say they can be day of coordinator if wanted. Do not do this. If you don't have a wedding planner like us, hire someone to be your day of coordinator. Our "coordinator" from the Sycamore was all over the place and didn't help with keeping things flowing or giving direction to DJ and caterer. Those things being said, the staff was extremely nice and they are brand new. Hopefully they will only get better with time. They did end up working with us on the bar situation and making it work for close to our budget. Hannah and Kim make themselves very available and are always quick to answer questions. I am very happy with our decision and would still recommend them to others, just be sure you account for ALL fees if your working on a budget.
