id not agree. They changed our venue event coordinator mid stream. We had communicated what was needed and how much for the premium bar service and that was not communicated as they ran out of our most requested beer within 30 minutes. While the venue is beautiful we and our guests were treated rudely by the serving staff. We had so many folks complaining the entire night. For the amount of money we spent, I feel like our guests should have been treated better.

the patio. Everyone had a place where they could celebrate and be comfortable. The staff was wonderful, but the views are what make it perfect. We toured in January when the vineyards were bare and it was still gorgeous. Our August wedding was perfection with the vineyards in full bloom. They also provide a wonderful bar service!

we did not have to deal with any vendors at all! She did all of that for us which helped the day be so much more relaxed. She helped give me tips on decorating as she knows more about the venue than me. All the way from booking until the day of our wedding communication was extremely amazing even though I got scatter brained at the end before the wedding Libby never got frustrated and answered the same questions for me probably a 100 times! Absolutely a great place to get married!

It made decorating for the wedding so easy because you really didn’t need a lot to make it beautiful. Bobbi was our venue coordinator and was amazing! They helped so much with the preparations and had alot of decorations ready to use, which really helped ease the stress. Beautiful venues, wonderful staff, and overall best day of my life! I would recommend the sycamore to everyone!

signed my contract Oct. 2019. They did not speak with me about any of the timing until about 1-2 months before my wedding. When I originally signed my contract, I was under the impression that I was able to enter the room 1 hour before the scheduled start time, and had 30 mins after to clean up. However, the person we signed with no longer worked there, and we were then told that we had from 4-11. The issue was, my ceremony was at 4:30, and they would not let me change it because another wedding also had their ceremony at that time. The Sycamore is lucky that they were willing to let us come in at 3:30 while they were setting up tables, or honestly, the review would be worse. Their miscommunications amongst each other made planning and finalizing extremely stressful. It was beautiful, though.

ur. When the caterers were running late, the staff (Specifically Bobbi, our wedding coordinator) took charge and arranged a solution to allow for the entire cocktail hour to happen flawlessly. The dinner and party happened in the Estate room following the cocktail hour. Bobbi and the sycamore staff arranged the room with all linens and tables ready for our florist to swoop in and set up easily. The grounds and buildings of this event space were absolutely stunning. All of our guests repeatedly commented on how beautiful the vineyard and event space was. I am so happy that we choose the Sycamore to host our special day. On another note, the Sycamore was the most understanding vendor when it came to the pandemic. Our wedding was originally scheduled for July 2020. However, we were bringing over 100 people from NJ, where Covid was hitting hard. The sycamore allowed us to change our date and honored our original contract with no questions asked. They are great to work with and you will not find a prettier country venue in Indiana!

t all. Then when the time finally came for our wedding everything was absolutely perfect. I worked with Bobbi and she was so helpful when planning and setting up. We made some very last minute changes and still everything went off without a hitch. Aside from perfect execution, the venue is gorgeous. It is the perfect amount of rustic and romantic all in one. The vineyard is so beautiful in the summer, it makes the perfect spot for wedding photos. I could not be happier with our choice to have The Sycamore host our big day! So many of our guests commented on what a great wedding it was and that is largely in part to the venue and amazing team. If you are considering booking here let this be a sign to go for it because you will absolutely not regret it.

elf. Our guests felt comfortable, even with COVID19, since we were able to space out and the grounds outside were open to be explored. Kim was very understanding when we had to postpone our original wedding date and helped us reschedule to a new date quickly. The Sycamore also offers a preferred vendor night a few times throughout the year that is free. It saved us a ton of time, since we were able to speak with florists, caterers, and photographers all in one day! I also highly recommend choosing vendors from their preferred vendor list. It helped prevent us from becoming overwhelmed with choices, and allowed the day of to function smoothly since these vendors work with The Sycamore frequently. Both my husband and I would highly recommend choosing The Sycamore at Mallow Run for any wedding or event!

call us back. Talk about stressful as everything was still shut down and there was no way we'd have a wedding in May. We originally had a coordinator named Dakota, and communication was awful with her. She had us use use this event website, which is fine, but there is no email trail or any way we could look at messages or send emails between vendor and both my now husband and myself. It created a lot of frustration and double emails. Another point on Dakota is she would take forever to respond to us and made it extremely hard for us to have any confidence in the venue especially when we were already panicked from Covid. She even told us at one point for an early May wedding "Well we still plan to go forward if you can have 50 people there." She is one of the least empathetic people I've met in my entire life. Our saving grace was the coordinator Bobbi, but if I had one thing to say I'd have really liked her to direct guests when they got there. This should not have been a job for my family. Another reason to knock the Sycamore is they nickle and dime you with a high price to begin with. We wanted one extra table and they were going to charge us for that. They charge if you do or don't want string lights. I feel like I should say, this is a beautiful venue, and some coordinators are amazing.

Through our whole planning (during a pandemic) we never had any troubles reaching anyone or getting our questions answered and they were very willing to work with us through all the uncertainties. Even with changing our date and having to change our ceremony from outside to inside (due to rain), I can still come out of it all saying that I had a beautiful wedding and that nothing went crazy wrong! Our coordinator Bobbi was just so kind and worked hard to coordinate with everyone all the changes that had to happen! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I would recommend it to anyone!

It allowed us to have the intimate ceremony we were looking for in the smaller Homestead Room, followed by cocktail hour in the Gallery, and then reception in the larger Estate Room. In addition to being a gorgeous venue with stunning grounds, the staff is fantastic. Hannah, who was our coordinator, ensured that all of our questions were answered and any concerns we had addressed. As a bride without a wedding planner, it was incredibly helpful to me that Hannah took the lead on coordinating day of details with all of our vendors and did so flawlessly. She thought of everything we didn't and did an amazing job making sure the day of went smoothly. I would highly recommend the Sycamore at Mallow Run to any couple.

From the day I met with the owner, Laura, until the day of the wedding, we were in awe of how awesome the staff here is. Our wedding coordinator, Bridgette, was phenomenal! She ensured that our wedding vision became a reality and was very helpful throughout the planning process. If there was an issue, she was willing to fix it and she really went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. On the day of the wedding, Bridgette and the rest of the Sycamore staff ensured that we had everything we needed at all times. I was truly grateful to such hard-working people available on our big day. I would recommend The Sycamore at Mallow Run without hesitation!

Beautiful fall flowers and candles adorned the fireplace mantel and we were pleasantly surprised that the fire was ablaze for the ceremony. This venue has suites available for both the bridal party and groomsmen to allow them to dress and relax before the ceremony. The spaces have private restrooms and you will also find a TV to entertain the guys while they wait! The staff at The Sycamore are professional, communicative, and personable. They answered ever question and provided all they could to make the event match the bride and groom's wishes! The bartenders were friendly and welcoming as well! Our guests commented throughout the evening about the beauty of the venue and the delicious food prepared by Sweet & Savory! You can't go wrong in choosing The Sycamore at Mallow Run for your special event!

d we no doubt agree!! Both the inside and outside of this venue do enough for itself, with needing little to no decor. It's just breathtaking as is! The staff was wonderful to work with and so attentive in making our big day a huge success!! We loved this venue and want to be able to relive our amazing day over and over again :) We would not doubt recommend this venue! I will say the venue can get pricey depending on what all you are wanting - which room you select, the time frame you want the space, and the bar time/package you select. But we would choose this space over and over again!!

ng. We had both our wedding and reception in the Estate Room. We had our ceremony, room switch - cocktail hour in the gallery, and then reception. Bobbi was incredible to work with and made our dream wedding a reality. The space is flexible and full of possibilities. They have their own bar in the gallery which is very affordable and you get to include Mallow Run wines in your package. They have many rent-able items such as a baby grand piano and decor items you can choose to use or not. We rented the piano and it was well worth it. There are fireplaces and fire pits throughout the area and we used them all during our winter wedding. They added such a spectacular visual to the space. It was so nice to have a venue that had enough indoor space to be able to have the event and take photos so we didn't have to deal with the elements outside.

They made great cocktails, provided so many options for beer and wine, and even let us have a couple cocktail (which was amazing). They were so far I don't think people hardly stood in line for a drink. Thank you Autumn and staff for truly making our day so incredibly special. g can be a stressful time, but everything about The Sycamore helped mitigate that stress – the beautiful, calm setting; the convenience of the facilities; and the proactive, accommodating staff. After touring more than a half-dozen venues in the Indianapolis area (and looking at more online) we picked The Sycamore because of a calm feeling we felt there. With tall ceilings, large windows and lots of natural wood/stone (surrounded by a forest and vineyard), The Sycamore offers the beauty of an outdoor setting while still giving you a modern, indoor venue. We booked the Estate Room, and felt it provided plenty of room of our 150+ guest count. But what’s really great is that we were able to do everything on-site at The Sycamore – getting ready in their bridal/groom suites, the ceremony outside in a structure near the vineyard, the cocktail hour in their lobby, our photos right outside and the reception in the large hall. But perhaps the best thing about The Sycamore is its all-star staff. Libby, our event coordinator, went above and beyond in making sure we had every detail covered for our big day. The entire Sycamore team accommodated all of our requests – they’re the absolute best! We thoroughly recommend The Sycamore for your wedding – we had a great experience with this venue!

When we first started the process of booking the location, there were a few hiccups (which seems like a uncommon occurrence) but the staff at The Sycamore worked fix those hiccups three fold. Bridgette was our coordinator and she was just the best! She made sure that our day went off without a hitch and it was truly the best day of our lives! Many times when you look at a venue online it isn't as gorgeous in person, well The Sycamore truly is! I would highly recommend checking out this venue, I promise you will fall in love! The only thing is making sure you have the details of what you can and can’t do at the venue is important to know ahead of time!! It’s not a long list but you do want to make sure everyone is on the same page! Another thing that I loved about the sycamore is the day of wedding coordinator... Bridgette helped us not only with rehearsal but also the day of making sure everything ran smoothly without being hawk eyes during the whole thing! Like I said, the staff was amazing and very friendly! Thanks for making our day so amazing!

recast changing. It showed 80% chance of rain, but as the time got closer the radar changed and it didn't rain at all. Thankfully the staff made it happen and switched the ceremony set up to outdoors. I am so thankful they were able to make this happen. The only have two complaints I have from the day of the wedding that kept me from making it 5 stars. We were told to stay on our side of the venue for pictures, etc. and we had the smaller venue area, but the larger wedding came over to our side very close to the beginning of our ceremony. They thankfully moved but none of the staff approached them to fix this. The second is we had an open bar and they never told the DJ or announced a last call for drinks. I know this is something so little, but a wedding is a party and people shouldn't have to be staring at the clock to know oh no the bar service is almost over I better get plenty of drinks before then. Overall, it is a beautiful venue that is well taken care of and affordable for what you get. I am so thankful I chose to have my big day there and will always cherish the memories when I visit their winery.

Your wedding photos will be stunning with the Sycamore in the backdrop and your guest will love it. A majority of our guests moved outside to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and breathtaking landscape (esp. since the vineyards were green). This is a very popular venue so don't wait to book your event. It is possible there will be another event the same time as yours but the staff does a great job of keeping your event as private as possible. There was a graduation party taking place in the smaller room at the same time as our wedding but we barely noticed so don't let it deter you from choosing this venue.

g at coordinating the day of. My maid of honor, who has been in 5-10 weddings already, said it was the smoothest coordination she had ever had during the day of a wedding. I was mainly behind the scenes while they worked with the DJ and other vendors. Laura was also very helpful and timely as I began planning my wedding in the months prior. The sycamore was very flexible in that they were able to accommodate all of our requests, include a date change for our wedding. I loved how open and beautiful the event space was - we never felt crowded and guests had the ability to explore, between the gallery, main room, and beautiful porches. This is a perfect space for someone who wants the feel of an outdoorsy wedding (as the location has options for both indoor and outdoor weddings). I would definitely recommend the Sycamore for anyone planning a wedding (or other events as well)!

that other potential clients were being shown around while we were trying to decorate and prepare for our day. Several groups and individuals were nosing around at our decor for quite a long period of time and we felt like they clearly didn’t belong there. Several guests from the wedding next door kept hanging around until I had to tell them they didn’t belong on our side. Also, the table cloths that the Sycamore staff put on the guestbook table and gift table were terribly wrinkled and looked bad. I’m glad we had a steamer with us and had the time to steam the table cloths because that was one of the first things guests see when they arrive. Our other issue was with our appointed coordinator Kim. She really needs to learn to listen and take notes and then look at her notes! She asked some of the same questions every time we met or spoke with her and then still forgot things on the day of the wedding. For example, she had told us when we first met with her that Sycamore staff would take care of putting out our appetizers/snacks in the gallery while the ceremony was going on. I had asked her to double check and make sure this would be done. Then on the day of the wedding she asked me who I had to do this! I told her she had told me her staff would and she said “Oh, I forgot”. This is just one example. She is very nice and tries to be helpful but she really needs to pay better attention and listen. There was a worker that sat up the chairs, etc. and she was an awesome worker. I wish I could remember her name because she went above and beyond! We were very happy with our florist, Shane White from Crister’s Florist in Morgantown, our caterer Sweet & Savory.

There is no other venue out there like it, and we are still so thankful that we were able to have our wedding there. Laura, Autumn and the entire staff were incredibly accommodating and so helpful, and they made sure everything at the wedding went off without a hitch. I would absolutely recommend a wedding at the Sycamore to anyone who asked!
