The Terrace Club is amazing. It’s beautiful, customizable, large, accessible, and conveniently located next to the Sleep Inn which is great for out of town guests. All inclusive wa...s the only way to go for me. Additionally, I got married in January on a Friday, and the price was a fraction of what other venues were quoting me for a whole lot less offered. The deal was unbelievable for what the party we threw!
The food was delicious! They have two options: barbecue and a traditional wedding menu. We went with the traditional menu offered by The Gourmet Gals: chicken, beef, potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls. Everyone went back for seconds. The chicken was moist, the beef was medium rare, the potatoes were perfectly salted, and the green beans had that fresh crunch. My sister is the most critical person, she was fully expecting to trash talk the food. She did not. She raved about it. We ate our left overs the next day, and they were just as delicious as the night before despite being reheated in the microwave.
The facility is breathtaking. I had my ceremony inside because I didn’t want to have to worry about the weather. I had low catholic mass, which is a little strange and was the first time The Terrace Club had ever done that. They were so accommodating and respectful and helped me make the space into a pretty, makeshift church that my priest (who can be a curmudgeon) was impressed by. We had our cocktail hour outside on their lawn with lawn games and a bonfire (those were upcharges, but worth it!), and it was so picturesque! Our reception was upstairs in the reception hall, and it was perfect. The dance floor is close enough to the bar where you don’t have to travel far to get a drink, but not so far that it’s going to take you away from the party. They have swaths of fabric to fancy up the industrial ceilings, and they have STUNNING chandeliers. Other places make you pay for those things; The Terrace Club does not. The bridal sweet is spacious with a ton of hooks to hang everyone’s dresses. I had roughly 15 people in there, and everyone had a place to perch without being in each other's way. It’s also very pretty, which was a great backdrop for our getting ready photos.
Marlana was an absolute angel sent down from heaven to guide my chaotic family and to ensure I had nothing to worry about. She was dependable, easily reachable, patient, sweet, direct, and fun. Multiple people that attended my wedding said that she was awesome, and I have to agree. On the wedding day, she only approached me with questions that were pertinent, she didn’t bog me or my maid of honor down with any small things. My whole family was able to be present in the moment and have a good time. I felt so incredibly taken care of and comforted that everything would be fine because Marlana was so easy to trust. And everything went perfectly! I have never hosted a party that was so effortless and perfect. I fully expected something-even a little thing- to go wrong, but nothing did! Marlana was meticulous and thorough from start to end, so when the wedding day arrived, everything went SO smoothly. Everyone that attended had a great time, and I have Marlana to thank for that. She’s the best!
