Booking our wedding at The Tirrell Room was the best decision my husband & I made. We worked with Amy who helped us plan our entire wedding and stay in check with what we needed to do throughout the process. The entire staff is personable yet professional, and I felt like everyone one of my guests were well taken care of. The venue itself is gorgeous and they had the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding. The Tirrell Room had so many options and choices for packages, meal choices and other wedding options, and I genuinely feel that everything was so cost effective. My favorite part about working with Amy was that she always let us know different choices couples could make, but she never attempted to push anything on us! She genuinely just wanted us to be happy and to help us plan the wedding we wanted!

Outstanding, venue in every way. Both Jenn and Amy took care of every detail, all 't's" were crossed and "i's" dotted. The food was delicious, the wait and bartending staff were patient, cordial and attentive. The package plan makes planning the easiest. My daughter's wedding was all and more than I ever dreamed.

the Tirrell Room for everything they did to make our family and friends so comfortable. Everyone could not stop raving about what a beautiful space it is, how great the food was, and how helpful and professional the whole staff were. The Tirrell Room had everything we were looking for: outdoor space with seating for the ceremony (and during the cocktail hour, they brought out high-top tables so people could hang out and watch the sunset), a huge room for the reception (it has a perfect-sized dance floor and 2 bars --- we had about 120 guests but it could fit up to 300 for seated dinner), great food and very reasonable prices for the Boston area. There is a huge free parking lot for guests who are driving, and we had out-of-town guests stay at the nearby Marriott (like 2.5 miles away). For the food, they do a big tasting where you can try everything on the menu. It was a really fun part of the planning process. Since the wedding, so many of our family and friends have brought up how much they enjoyed the dinner. Great appetizers and entrees, especially the beef tenderloin. But the best part about the Tirrell Room is seriously the staff. Everyone was so great to us, but I especially have to mention Jen, who worked with us throughout the entire planning process. She was absolutely incredible. She instantly made us feel comfortable from the first time we went to look at the space, and was so helpful and responsive to all of our questions. Her upbeat and flexible attitude made us feel so confident and calm every step of the process, right up to the night of the wedding where she made sure everything stayed perfectly on track. It may sound like I'm going overboard with the raving, but trust me that if you're lucky enough to get to work with her, you'll see exactly what I mean. I've heard this place referred to as a "hidden gem" but I doubt it'll be that way for long. Couldn't recommend it more.

the wedding beautiful but all the planning in the months before was minimal stress mainly thanks to Maryanne. Many of the guests that attended my wedding made sure to tell me how beautiful everything was and what a great time they had. I totally agree, food was terrific as well as wait staff. . Great place to get married and or have a reception

Cary really saved the day for this review. The original event planner that was assigned to us was untimely in returning messages, triple booked the venue during the rehearsal dinn...

er, and actually used the phrase "That's not my job." When talking about displaying my DIY projects around the reception room and at their out door gazebo. I also had to call to find out when there would be a food tasting (and come to find out, there was one the next week), she reached out to me just 7 days before the wedding to find out what our final menu and headcount would be. Cary called and seemed very surprised that they didn't have more info about my event. She made sure at the rehearsal to ensure me that she would be in charge the day of the event and she'd make sure everything was perfect. And she absolutely did. The room was gorgeous. The person that I did end up hiring to help prep the decorations couldn't say enough about her. As a new bride I didn't know the first thing about timelines and needed more guidance. I'd absolutely refer this function hall, as long as you also have an event planner to help connect the dots and deal with the headaches associated with a weak manager.

Worst experience of my life, and I felt the representative was Homophobic too!!! My Fiancé who is a female and I (female) had a 1PM appointment to see the grounds today 8/20/12, we...

were very excited because it was the first place we chose to view for our wedding/reception. The excitement went from 100 to 0 from the minute we met Marianne. She had a cut throat attitude and quickly took us around the grounds, gave us the paperwork and shoved us out the door. The entire appointment took 10min with no real explanations about anything. We felt rushed and were told if we had questions to call her. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will not give them a penny after the experience we had today.

n to a number of functions at The Tirrell Room, and not only has the food been exceptional each time, the room and the grounds are simply lovely! It's spacious, updated, and has gorgeous views. Plus, unlike some other wedding venues (that I have been to), the drinks aren't outrageously priced. This was also a nice consideration for our guests. So, instead of a Cape Cod wedding, I chose to do my Cape Cod theme right here in Quincy! It was perfect!

ok in advance because the dates fillup fast. The wedding package was perfect and included everything. They had a few DJs to pick from and Mike Tucker was amazing! From what I had the food was great. The grounds made beautiful photos. Since they renovated this place is amazing. All the windows really make for a nice backdrop and is very unique from most ballrooms. I wasn't very impressed with the limo company they had in the package. And for hotel rooms do not go to the Hampton Inn Braintree really bad service. Pick the Marriott or Holiday Inn Express. You will definately be happy hosting your wedding or any event at the Tirrell Room. Thank you Carey & Marianne!

guests had to stand. If I had known that I would have rented more chairs. The reception was beautiful! Food was amazing and the staff 100% professional! It was so smooth working w. Carey and Maryanne. They were with us 100% of the way. Would def recommend to any bride to check them out!!
