She didn't pressure me to make a decision and scheduled me to come back in that weekend (despite how busy they were, she found a time) to try it on again, along with the others. I didn't end up purchasing my dress from Ultimate Bridal but I'd highly recommend checking out their selection!

in house alterations. There was a mix up where when we ordered my dress, it wasn’t supposed to come with the hem lace to make it easier to hem to my height but it came with the lace on. The shop was super understanding and didn’t charge us the price to take it off and put it back on and refunded us the initial charge we had paid to have it not sewn on in the first place. The hemming was a bit of a trouble due to that reason and did require one extra fitting with our seamstress April but she was an absolute gem! She did a great job with fitting my dress, and showing me tips and tricks of how to make it look the best on the day of. She was kind and friendly, I really did look forward to seeing her at every fitting. I would highly recommend this shop to any bride!

wasn't looking for, and then she disappeared for a long time to find some dresses. When she came back, none of the dresses had any of the features I was looking for, and most of them had features that I explicitly said I didn't want! She had me try them on and me and my entourage kept saying they didn't look anything like I wanted but she just kept excitedly having me try them on. I had to explicitly ask her to leave to find more that had what I was looking for. On top of all of this, every dress I tried on, she would just tell me everything that was wrong with the dress, pointing out how cheaply made it was! It was almost comical. This lasted TWO HOURS! It was so long and painful! Would not recommend, was very disappointed and wished I hadn't gone.

d some of the dresses that I wanted to try on. I gave them 10 or so dresses and they verified that they had about 7 of them. When I arrived at the appointment, they only had 2 of the dresses that I had asked to try on out of the 10 or so. So instead they pulled dresses from a different designer that I didn’t even ask to try on and they considered “similar”. I had originally stated I did not want a ball gown style dress and most dresses they pulled for me to try on were in fact, ball gowns. My stylist also disappeared for at least 10-15 minutes of my appointment trying to “find” dresses, leaving us sitting wondering what was going on. The place was so unorganized and I left the appointment extremely disappointed and discouraged. I would NOT recommend going to the Ultimate Bride.

Elizabeth at The Ultimate Bride, and she was amazing. Elizabeth listened to me when I was describing what I was looking for in a dress. After showing her a few pictures online, she returned with multiple beautiful gowns and three “wildcards”, which were stunning as well. I am notoriously indecisive, but after working with Elizabeth and talking through each dress, I knew when I had found the one. After she accessorized with a belt, blusher, and veil, there was no doubt in my mind. To The Ultimate Bride, you should be so proud of the amazing employees that represent you. Each person that I came in contact with was helpful and made this experience one that I will truly never forget. Elizabeth, I cannot thank you enough for all of your assistance throughout this process. There is no one else that I would rather have on this journey with me!

e dress that I like, but it didn’t give me that feeling I hear soo many brides describe they get once they found their dress. So I made my appointment a week out, I came back 3/11/202 and this time I knew what I wanted and didn’t want. Anna had my “favorites” inside my fitting room, and she let me try on as many dresses that was needed for me to find my dream dress. My mom picked out this high neck, crepe dress with an BEAUTIFUL train made by Essences of Australia. I immediately felt in my stomach that this was the one! Once I came out and saw myself, I did not want to take it off. Anna and Megan showered me with compliments, it was at that moment I knew I wanted to say “Yes To The Dress”! The best part was that I still had a few dresses in my room, so Anna and I did this quick runway type of deal where I quickly tried on the other dresses just so my family could see me in them. Thanks Anna! You were Awesome! Thanks Anna!

While I tried on about 7 gowns (for the wedding gown experience), I knew I would get the first gown I tried on. It was a pleasure to work with Kara and the alterations were minimal afterward. While my mom, sister, and I thought it was the perfect gown for me, I did not expect so many of our wedding guests (including the guys!) compliment me on how stunning specific details of the dress looked. isclosed the size of the initial dress I tried on, so I had no way of know how much bigger the ordered dress was going to be. When the dress came in one month before my wedding the dress was huge and the bust did not fit. They said if it fits in the natural waist the chest will fit fine. I trusted the alterations team could make it fit. They had to take the dress in over six inches in the waist and did not alter the chest. While I did sign off on the size and final alterations, there was no other option as it was days before my wedding and I trusted the employees, who reassured me multiple times, that the dress would stay up. Needless to say the bust did not stay up and my chest was out for most of my pictures and almost all pictures of me on my wedding day cannot be shared with family and friends. It brings me to tears to look at them. The alteration team did not listen to my concerns and this led to a very uncomfortable dress experience. Also, I did not lose weight between the time of purchase and my wedding. Afterwards, the company has continued to blow me off and continues to show that this is how they continue to conduct business and are not a quality company for a bride to rely upon for her wedding day.

I can't stop looking at it and can't wait to wear it! My initial thoughts were "Oh my, I can't afford this place." But I was proven way wrong! days before the wedding, I needed a last minute alteration and they were willing to squeeze me in and let me pick it up the next day! I would highly recommend to any bride to look here first!

It zipped up with difficulty and my mom couldn't breathe in it and felt she wouldn't be able to enjoy the day of or eat in the dress. The alterations lady, Suki I believe was her name, told my mom that they dress could not be let out more than 1/2 an inch and that my mom should "just eat vegetables" until the wedding day. 1st off, no one should be telling any woman to "just eat vegetables" in order to fit into anything! 2nd off, my mom is a tight size 4, comfortable size 6. The dress was too tight around her rib cage where she has no fat at all. INCREDIBLY RUDE! They claimed they let the dress out but it still didn't fit. Thankfully, my matron of honor recommended a seamstress in the area where her "complicated" dress (we were trying to fit a growing baby belly) was being altered and so we took the dress there. The seamstress in our area told my mom that they could have easily let the dress out more as well as done the other alterations my mom wanted and was told was impossible. I'm thankful that my dress was done well (although it could have been hemmed more) but wish that they could have treated my mom and her dress as well as they did me. Yes the bride is most important but all members of the wedding party will have eyes on them, especially the mother of the bride.

A week later I was doubting my choice and went back alone; Ann helped me again and I was just as in love with my dress as I was the first time. The place is clean, staff is so kind and patient, and I couldn’t have had a better experience!

ine and wanted. They were always very accommodating and easy to schedule, as I live out of state and had minimal opportunities when in St. Louis to go in. My dress came in quickly. The only disappointing part was with my dress alterations. I had to go back 4 times (including 3 days before the wedding) to make sure everything was okay with the dress. It ended up perfect for the day, but it was frustrating and nerve-wracking for it to get that close to make sure everything was perfect with the dress. Overall experience was positive with the staff and service.

ride. The bridal consultant assigned to me seemed annoyed by me being there. Despite this, I found a lovely dress and narrowed it down to two (one at Clarice's and one at Ultimate Bride). I returned a couple of days later with my bridesmaids to try the dress on to make my final choice. Upon arrival, the bridal consultants told me my dress was in a dressing room and that I could try it on myself. No one offered to help clip my dress and instead my bridesmaids had to help me get into it. In fact, during this appointment I asked if I could see a belt and maybe a veil and the consultant said yes, walked away, and then did not return. It wasn't until I had taken the dress off and decided that I wanted to purchase the dress that she magically reappeared. Against my better judgment, I returned to choose a bridesmaid dress. This experience was not too bad, but again, the consultant seemed annoyed that her time was being taken up with having to help us get dresses. The final straw came when my bridesmaids put their sizes in online and one of my bridesmaid's sizes magically disappeared, causing her to have to go through the whole process again. When she called to just verbally give them, she was told that they don't do that and you must do it online... At this point, this store does not have my vote of confidence and would not be surprised if they forgot to order my dresses or gave me the wrong dress. Take my advice, go somewhere else... Anywhere else.

SS. It was an amazing experience and they made me feel like a princess with each dress I put on. The third time I visited was just to put my final order in for my dress and get my measurements. The young woman who helped me was so sweet and had me in and out with no problem at all. I can’t wait to see my dress when it comes in and to see the expression on my fiancé’s face when he sees me in my dress for the first time.

I did have to wait for awhile in a dress I didn't love, while my consultant pulled something else, that time in the dress actually helped me fall in love with it! My ultimate compliments, though, go to the in-house seamstress Kiki who did an AMAZING job customizing the neckline of the dress. It was expensive and took awhile, but so worth it, as it came out exactly how I wanted. The employees here are very responsive and have great attitudes - so glad I got my dress here.
