The University Club was an incredible place to host our wedding. The event coordinator was exceptional, offering tremendous support throughout. Moreover, the venue itself was breathtaking, and the cuisine was outstanding. Our guests couldn't stop praising the quality of the food and appreciated that it was served hot. We're overjoyed that we selected the UP club for our wedding celebration!
We had our wedding here this past Spring and it was absolutely beautiful! The building has a classic historic look that fit the romantic vibe my husband and I were looking for.
Not only is this place absolutely gorgeous, but the costs are very affordable! It was only $1200 to rent the entire venue on a popular weekend. Food was delicious, great quality, and didn't break our bank. Many guests complimented our food choices.
The events manager helped us every step of the way and she was completely attentive. She really made the wedding planning process easy.
We couldn't have been happier!
I would definitely recommend this venue to brides who are looking for something outside of the box.
Brides beware... when we first chose the uc for our venue we were excited by how beautiful it was and how involved our onsite wedding coordinater seemed to be but after we signed the contract it was 6 months and mulitple emails before I got in contact with her again. And then when we met for the final meeting she tacted on extreme fees that she previously didn't tell us about but at that point we were 3 months away from our wedding so there was nothing we could do. We were way over budget so when I told her we would have to cut out somethings (like $5, 000 hor'dourves) she seemed to get upset with me. Not exactly what I needed a few months before my wedding. Then day of the wedding she yelled at the women dropping off my cupcakes 30 min early and wanted her to come back later, when the baker told her she had 250 cupcakes that needed to be refrigerated the coordinater put them on a table where they proceeded to melt. Then when we arrived at the reception we wanted the photographer to take pictures of my husband and I alone for a bit, apparently that wasnt ok with the coordinater either because she then was rude to my photographer and told us to stop the session to be alone in the brides room for a bit before dinner. Pictures were much more important to us but apparently that didn't matter to her. Then for the rest of the night she completely disengaged ... I had to run tge whole show at my own wedding. No bride should have to do that ... and the fact that we had to pay her thousands of dollars to do it made it that much worse. Our reception was suppose to be until 11pm but the bsr staff started packing up at 10 so my guests started to leave. All in all the uc ruined my wedding for me. My guests had a good time... it was beautiful ... but for s
a club that is so expensive they should have a staff that mirrors their quality
