The University of Texas Golf Club

We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at the UT Golf Club because of its great service, beautiful pavilion area, excellent food, and the fact that we are both born and raised Longhorn fans! Lisa Coffman was so helpful and on top of the entire evening - her knowledge and experience immediately put me at ease. She met with us to help plan our menu and drink selections and offered up some really creative and fun ideas. The chef at the club is also amazing and even allowed us to "tweak" some of the menu options to make them more personal for our families.  Fresh chocolate chip cookies and milkshakes for dessert! The entire evening was perfect, and we are so thankful for all of the hard work that Lisa (and her team) put in!

We chose the UTGC because we are members (and die hard Longhorn fans!). Our plans were to have our reception outside in the pavilion, but the weather didn't co-operate. On a very short notice, Lisa and Manny changed directions, moved us inside, and decorated the main dining room even more beautifully than we could have imagined. We had very specific ideas about the theme of our reception, but were unsure which foods would complement that theme. Grant and his staff absolutely nailed it, creating special apps, entrees, and deserts that were amazing and unique. From planning to execution, the entire staff was friendly, helpful and gracious. Could not more highly recommend the UTGC as a wedding and reception venue.

When it came time for our wedding, UT Golf Club was absolutely my top choice. I had been to several events in the past and knew that Lisa Coffman was a great coordinator. From the very beginning, she knew what vendors were affordable to my budget and had a great sense of calm in her planning (which all brides need!). We were able, 15 months in advance, to get every vendor we wanted along with negotiated prices. Since we were booking everything in advance, we were able to secure some lower rates. Lisa worked with my day-of coordinator Bethany, from Loxodonta, to work out most details. Between the two, I had a very stress-free planning process. When you shop for linens, make sure you know the table sizes at your venue! Or... better yet, leave details like this to Bethany or Lisa! The only tough decision we had to make was to move the band inside for the threat of potential rain - but honestly, I enjoyed having the band inside better. Lisa was professional and we made the call the morning of the wedding. All of the events flowed perfectly and all of the vendors we worked with were courteous and polite - all on account of their relationship with Lisa and UT Golf Club. If you're thinking about having your wedding here - book an appointment to tour and see Lisa. I wish I could relive our amazing party and wedding experience, it was SO much fun!
