Welcome & Congratulations! The Venetian Estate is a historic estate venue located in Milton, WV with expansive grounds offering both indoor and outdoor options for your wedding festivities. With your venue rental, we provide tables, chairs, linens, chargers, and standard centerpieces, along with dinnerware, glassware, and flatware. Linen colors options are ivory or black. We do offer packages for weddings of all sizes, price points and can also accommodate your rehearsal dinner, farewell brunch, as well as any other needs you may have. In the summer of 2024, you will have the opportunity to stay overnight on the property. Yay! We are in the process of converting our historic home into overnight accommodations, the second floor will have 4 bedrooms with ensuites and the third floor will have a bridal overnight suite straight from a story book. The Venetian Estate is comprised of our historical property, the classic Colonial-style brick home with the iconic white pillars. This building contains an ideal first floor venue that is perfect for Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners or Intimate Weddings. Our restaurant on the property is located in The Pub which is open Tuesday - Saturday, perfect for that afternoon snack. The Ballroom is located next to The Pub which features the grand entrance portico which opens into Ballroom that can comfortably accommodate up to 220 guests. The Ballroom features a dazzling chandeliers and atmospheric lighting to accompany your reception and a fixed bar for the perfect libations. For our outdoor spaces, you will discover The Gazebo Lawn with lush grounds, beautiful trees and landscaping. Wooden gates adorned with iron scroll designs open up to a stone walkway that leads to our beautiful Gazebo.. This location makes the perfect backdrop for your vision board of the wedding ceremony of your dreams. The Terrace off the historic home offers outdoor seating for 150 with cafe lights strung overhead that will light up the night sky. The Catering & Events team has more than 75 years of experience creating unique events of all types. Customize your experience with personal selections from our catering menu. We, also, have a fabulous Pastry Chef on property that can create the most delicious wedding cake or confections for your event. i cannot express how much i enjoyed this venue! they made my dream wedding come true! Makinzy and Hayleigh are both so very helpful and kind! they helped me so much with the planning and dealing with wedding stress lol. i definitely recommend this venue to everyone, it’s truly so beautiful! ❤️ i couldn’t have done it without Makinzy & Hayleigh’s help!

I should preface this by saying my wedding was beautiful and we did have an amazing night. However, it took a lotttt to get there. The first coordinator was fired and no one notified us, so we were completely in the dark for months. We basically had to plan everything in 4-5 months and other coordinators were dropping like flies. I’ve gone from coordinator to coordinator and no one seems to communicate. They also did not make me aware of several key things, like the fact that another wedding was happening that same day and a rehearsal during our set up time. We found out about the rehearsal on the wedding day. They tore down all of our decor right after our ceremony and we didn’t get any group photos in front of it. They did not communicate with kitchen staff so no one knew who was suppose to get what food based on our color coded place cards despite the fact that I emailed this to them TWICE and they assured me color coding was okay. The food also arrived cold according to some of my guests. The wait staff dropped plates loudly during dinner service. The cake, however, was beautiful and delicious. I think a lot of problems could have been solved if they focused on one event. It seemed like the entire staff was in a frenzy over their multiple events. This was not entirely their fault, and I know they tried to remedy the situation as best they could. For example, we were able to set up a few days early to see the space, we were able to store our items the night before, and they were able to accommodate us last minute for the rehearsal dinner when the hotel lost power. I reserved this space to avoid as much stress as possible and to be a little more hands-off considering I’m an out of state bride. I know you can’t avoid stress entirely but I was blind sided several times throughout the planning process and even on the day of. It was not the planning experience I would have liked to have. Oh, and they owe us money and I haven’t heard from management regarding it. All in all, it was probably one of the most beautiful weddings and venues. I got several comments on how gorgeous it was and I know the pictures will be amazing and everyone had a great time dancing and laughing and crying. So if you’re willing to go through a huge hassle like I did, then this is the place for you. Given their price though, there should not have been these many issues.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. I put a deposit down for our wedding at the Venetian estate. They changed management 3 times and never once notified us. I asked for a preferred vendor list and was told “we need to focus on brides we have now, your wedding isn’t until October.” This vendor refused to refund our deposit after they showed zero professionalism and made planning a wedding a nightmare.

I was the DJ for weddings on the last two Saturdays at the Venetian Estate. This place is easy to get to, beautiful, functional and most of all they have a very efficient staff. The main reason why this is a great place to have your wedding ceremony and reception is the planner, Val Huffman. I have worked venues from Chicago to Tampa and many places in between. She wants your day to be as perfect as you do and that is what it takes. If you choose the Venetian then you have chosen well.

Because of COVID we decided to have a micro-wedding here and it was a great decision. I didn’t want to worry and stress over all the details so we had the venue provided all the decorations and Valerie Huffman helped coordinated everything. We had our ceremony under an old tree beside the manor that had a beautiful chandelier hanging from the branches and the staff went out of their way to create an aisle of bright yellow leaves for us, it made the ceremony so special and our wedding photos are amazing.

Loved our experience! Our wedding was canceled due to covid and we had one month exactly replan our whole wedding. It was a personal experience and we got to sit down and chat it all out in person! If we had a question we could text and ask! Lots of help and absolutely breathtaking wedding.

We had our wedding at the Venetian this past November. After replanning our wedding twice due to covid, the Venetian was fantastic. We just went in and talked about what we wanted (small wedding: 9 guests and a meal) and they handled the rest. They handled decorations and the brunch menu (they even tweaked it to add a few personal preferences like hamburgers). It was perfect especially after struggling to make plans that would work during covid, we didn’t have to worry about anything. On our wedding day, we were able to show up, get married, and enjoy the time with our family. If you want to have a small wedding but still have the “wedding” experience, I cannot recommend this Venetian enough. The staff is phenomenal and extremely helpful and the venue is beautiful.
