As the Mother of the Bride, I was a bit nervous about helping to plan an out-of-town wedding, but The Venue in Asheville turned out to be a perfect location for a beautiful and fun evening reception. Deandra, Marta and Chef Joel were accommodating and creative during our planning process, and communications were always easy, even with the Bride, Groom and parents in 3 different time zones. No matter what questions we had, Deandra offered thoughtful solutions: special touches for decor, lovely linens, a variety of table setup options, suggestions to maximize the space for a large dance floor, plenty of room and lovely setup for 2,000+ homemade Italian cookies, personalized wine & beer choices...so many important details handled with care!
We were all overwhelmed with joy when we arrived, because the cocktail and reception rooms were truly elegant, with every little detail turning out just as we had imagined. The service staff did an amazing job for our large and gregarious group; the cocktail and appetizer service was excellent and dinners for 200 people were served in record time.
And oh, that dinner! Our guests are still commenting on the splendid meals; whether they chose filet mignon, salmon, chicken or risotto, every person loved their main course and deliciously innovative sides, all served at the perfect temperature. Even our few special dietary requests were accommodated easily.
We certainly treasure every memory of our daughter's spectacular wedding day, and we are superbly grateful to Deandra, Marta, Chef Joel and the staff at The Venue for their partnership in making our Bride & Groom's wedding visions become reality. Highly recommended!
