Highly recommend! We had such a great experience with the whole Boxwood team at this beautiful venue. It was so nice to have our catering/bartending/venue in one. Emma was an amazing coordinator and truly made the day go off without a hitch. The food was delicious and the venue is in a great location in the heart of downtown Dallas. Can't say enough good things!

My husband and I are so incredibly thankful for The Boxwood Team and The Venue at 400 N Ervay! The entire team was wonderful to work with and we appreciated the personalization they allowed us to give our wedding. From the initial venue tour, we could tell Boxwood was organized and prioritized getting to know their clients. We loved the rooftop ceremony and the courtroom reception! Boxwood provided an excellent concierge service to answer questions throughout our planning process, this made it really easy to make progress on our own timeline. One of our favorite things about working with Boxwood were the supper clubs - we felt support to customize our food every step of the way and having the ability to sample different menus with the event experience was really valuable (plus a fun date night)! Boxwood provided a "Day of Coordinator" and she was our MVP! She kept an intricate checklist of the items the whole event and helped us plan the timeline in detail. She answered many of our questions, always had answers/options and was so positive to work with! We appreciate the kindness and hospitality Rachel provided us through the planning process and our friends/family during rehearsal and our event. I honestly can't say enough about her organization and how she managed all the details and moving pieces for our special day. Rachel and Boxwood helped us curate the wedding of our dreams and execute smoothly. BEST DAY EVER!

We loved everything about our experience with Boxwood! The venue was perfect, we had no hiccups or issues with catering, the venue, decorating - anything at all! One of the very best parts about 400 N Ervay and Boxwood was our fantastic wedding coordinator Rachel. She was INCREDIBLE and a huge help leading up to the wedding and especially the day of. We would get married here again in a heartbeat!

Boxwood catering was next level. Guests raved and raved about the food & drinks. Day of coordinator was a gem; helped with timeline planning & keeping things in order. Her and her team did SO much for us the day of!! And I especially loved the Supper Club date nights to help choose the food & get inspired for tablescape. Keep in mind: if you're using the rooftop from the courtroom there will be elevator time to consider. Also be sure to give specific directions on where you want pictures taken at the venue (tell your coordinator & be clear with your photographer) This way you can capture the most beautiful spaces & maximize your venue!! Highly recommend! It's gorgeous, historic, and was an overall positive experience had by me, my husband, and all of our guests.

Rachel Jones and her team were phenomenal to work with, ensuring my wedding wishes came true! The venue itself is beautiful; we knew it was the one for us immediately when touring it! The food was so delicious and the catering team accommodated all dietary restrictions without any problems.

The Venue at 400 Ervay was stunning and exactly the vibe we were looking for. The courtroom is rich in history, boasting original wood floors, a judge’s bench, and hand-painted ceilings, while the rooftop offers a modern and luxurious atmosphere. We loved the grand hallway for cocktail hour. It provided the perfect space for our guests to mingle and enjoy themselves. We had an open bar, a coffee cart, and a photo booth set up, which added to the overall ambiance and made the cocktail hour even more memorable. The only downside is the parking, but we opted for valet services which helped alleviate that concern. Prior to Madison being our coordinator, we were in touch with the concierge team at Boxwood, and they were incredibly helpful. They promptly answered all our questions and were consistently open and available for phone or Zoom calls. This level of accessibility was particularly beneficial for me as a Type A bride, as it helped alleviate any concerns and ensured a smooth planning process. Madison was a rockstar coordinator for our wedding! Introduced to us by Boxwood six weeks before our big day, she quickly became our go-to person, guiding us through the planning process with efficiency and ease. She made us feel like no request was inconvenient, and her commitment to ensuring our vision was realized was remarkable. On the day itself, she flawlessly managed her team, ensuring every little detail was taken care of. Madison's can-do attitude was infectious, and her regular check-ins kept us feeling reassured and stress-free. She nailed my decor vision, keeping the lines of communication open to ensure everything matched our expectations perfectly. When unexpected issues popped up during the event, she handled them like a pro and kept everything on schedule effortlessly. Madison's calm and confident demeanor made us feel like VIPs amidst all the wedding chaos. Her ability to juggle multiple tasks and attend to our guests' needs with grace was seriously impressive. We can't thank her enough for making our day run like a dream!

Our wedding at 400 N Ervay was awesome! Rachel was my coordinator and she helped everything run so smoothly. She was incredibly professional and attentive. She was patient and did a great job running through our rehearsal with everyone the day before--I never felt like any question was a stupid question. We got SO many compliments on the venue and the food was excellent. We are so happy with our experience with Rachel and the Boxwood team. One thing I will note about the venue--I believe the max it can seat for an indoor reception is 140. I personally believe if we had maxed out our guest list it would have felt pretty cramped. Our guest list ended up being around 120 and that worked out perfectly.

Wow! Just wow! This 400 North Ervay venue and team met and exceeded EVERY expectation to make our day perfect. The rooftop and courtroom are the perfect backdrop for an elegant wedding, but the real benefit of this venue is the exceptional service from beginning to end. Starting with initial meetings and the email support team, the fun food tastings and then the actual event-- it was picture perfect. Our assigned coordinator Rachel J. went above and beyond to take care of us leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Her efforts were critical to helping things go smoothly. There are no words to express our appreciation for her incredible support--she was calm, responsive and always positive. She pumped us ALL up! Our guests were in awe of the service from the entire team and the bartenders got a big shout out for their great service. Oh - and every single table complimented the delicious appetizers and dinner! We highly recommend the family style option as it was a big hit (the bavette steak and cast iron chicken were our choices...yum!) We are all still riding the high from a beautiful event! Thank you to this venue team and to Rachel, our coordinator goddess! As the mother of the bride, I relaxed knowing you had my back and the smile on the faces of our bride and groom told the whole story!

I would definitely recommend this company and venue and if I had to do it all over again I would rehire them.

The entire Boxwood team was so helpful from the time we booked the venue in January 2023 to our wedding in November 2023. Conleigh was our event coordinator and she did an amazing job! Many of our guests commented on how seamless everything ran. From the transitions to ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, the dinner service, and the general flow of the evening. Everything was perfect!

Everything was top notch service! They made the entire wedding planning process so easy and fun. We enjoyed their menu tasting events, it helped tremendously when choosing our food and was SO good. We got so many compliments on our food at our wedding and I was looking forward to eating our food for weeks leading up to the wedding. Chef Justo does amazing work and his menu is delicious! Rachel our planner was impeccable! She made sure we were cared for and thinking of/doing things before we would think to do them. For example, we joined cocktail hour but I only had 1 hors d’oeuvres so I asked her if she could grab some for us. She told me “oh there’s already a plate waiting at your seat with 1 of each for both of you!” . Rachel also fixed my dress when my bustle broke, helped when a flower arrangement was blown over by wind and more! While all of their venues are beautiful we loved 400 the best because of how versatile there is and how many options are offered if you choose it. For example, we had our ceremony on the rooftop, cocktail hour in the hallway and then courtroom was our reception/dining are. Guests loved seeing all of the building and the historical pieces of it. We cannot say enough good things about Rachel and the boxwood team. Our guests were impressed with how seamless everything was and really noticed how hard the Boxwood team worked to make our night perfect. 10/10 service and would recommend the Boxwood team to anyone getting married!!

Our wedding was at 400 N Ervay St. in Dallas and it was everything we could’ve ever imagined plus more! Our day of coordinator, Madison, was incredible to work with. She made our day truly perfect. Our guests have been raving about the venue, the food, and the professionalism of the Boxwood team. My expectations were met and exceeded in so many ways. We are so grateful to Madison and to Boxwood Hospitality for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

We chose this beautiful venue for our son's rehearsal dinner with a cocktail hour on the roof and dinner in the Courtroom. I have nothing but glowing reviews for our event. The courtroom venue is absolutely gorgeous, but more so, Boxwood Catering was beyond compare. Every step of the way they went above and beyond to ensure our night went seamless. And it did, with flying colors. The food was wonderful, and every single person involved with Boxwood were amazing. Madison took over coordination a few weeks in and she hit it out of the park, literally doing more than I could ever have imagined. We were in a pinch with our dessert delivery and she took care of me. She assisted in every step with set up, name cards, and everything else that I couldn't even have anticipated. I had so many compliments of the night, and our bride and groom were delighted with how it turned out. I would recommend this to anyone for any event!!

Easiest place to get married. We could not be happier with how everyone at Boxwood treated us. It felt like we had someone at every stage of the planning. Whether it was picking out the food, to figuring out decorations, all the way to the day of, the team at Boxwood made you feel like they had you covered. We were so grateful for all their hard work. The event was amazing, could not recommend them enough!!

I cannot express how much we loved this venue! They went above and beyond. The service and food were exceptional. Edith was great to work with and made sure our vision was carried out. Our guests were greeted with a glass of champagne and escorted to the 3rd floor court room for the cocktail hour. From there our reception was held on the rooftop. It was STUNNING. We did get married mid-June so it was a little hot, but it didn't stop us from having fun!

Got married here in May of 2019. We had both ceremony and reception on the rooftop with our cocktail hour in the courtroom. You are required to go through Food Glorious Food for catering, but everything they did was pretty good, just pricey. The day of coordinator provided was helpful, but you still probably need your own coordinator as she is only able to really focus on your event for a short period as she has other weddings at the venue to focus on before your date comes. She was very hands off after we got our own coordinator and I'm not sure how much she would've helped the day of had we not had our own. The space is beautiful and I have 0 regrets!!

The Venue at 400 North Ervay is a hidden gem in downtown Dallas! Every time that I walked onto the rooftop at the venue during our wedding planning, I was taken aback by the beauty of the view. What a unique venue! When we visited the venue, we thought that it may be too small for our estimated guest count, but we loved the venue so much that we made it work. We opted for a rooftop ceremony and the reception in the courtroom. We lucked out with great weather on the day of, so we didn't have to use our backup plan (which still would have been beautiful!) in the grande hall on the first floor. This place has so much history and is so beautiful that I don't feel that you need much decor if at all to dress it up. In addition, the bridal suite is one of the penthouse suites of the building, so it was a beautiful room to take getting ready pictures in and pre-ceremony photos. Two things that I was worried were transportation/parking and the movement between floors in the building for ceremony to reception to sendoff. But valet parking was super smooth and the staff shuffled people smoothly between floors by allowing plenty of time. I'm so grateful that we chose this venue for our wedding day!

My now husband and I fell in love with this wedding venue the moment we stepped into the doors. The building is beautiful and historic, and provides an amazing backdrop with very minimal decoration or enhancements necessary. Our guests were delighted and in awe of the rooftop, where we held our ceremony and cocktail hour. At first, we were a little concerned with traffic flow to/from the roof, as there is only one elevator, but it honestly wasn't an issue at all. There are some restrictions regarding enter and exit time, end time (noise - this is a residential building after all!), no open flames, but we didn't find them to be restrictive to the point of impeding on an amazing wedding day. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for city views or a historic venue.

I loved this venue as soon as I saw it. I was a little bit vintage and a little bit modern. Overall it was a great space to have hosted my wedding ceremony and reception. It is a beautiful venue in the middle of downtown Dallas with amazing views. There are only a few complaints to mention. Some of the staff was hard to work with and contact. They had very strict times that you could be in the building and occupy certain locations in the building and if you went over the time or left a certain location, you would lose your deposit. They also gave us short notice on what time we would do our rehearsal (it ended up being at 1PM on a Friday, which was a little inconvenient). They also failed to provide certain requested drinks during the event that was promised to be available.

Stacy and Laurel worked with us from day 1 to make sure our day was perfect. We had our ceremony and reception on the rooftop, with a cocktail hour downstairs in the historic court room. They completely flipped the space during the cocktail hour and both the ceremony and reception looked INCREDIBLE. The food was excellent and everything just fell into place with their awesome team. Couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue for our special day! We're so grateful!

I loved, loved, loved our wedding in downtown Dallas at The Venue at 400 N Ervay....we had both ceremony and reception at the site in mid-December and it was absolutely stunning. The staff, led by Event Director Lauren Twichell, is top-notch and highly professional. We had about 130 guests and the space was perfect for that number - wouldn't have wanted to fit any more than that! The only downside to the space is the lack of air conditioning...even in December it got extremely warm. However, overall our experience was very positive!

I'm in the beginning stages of planning my May 2016 wedding and was told I couldn't even schedule an appointment to see this venue because they are not currently booking for 2016. I was told I could try again to take a tour in Janurary. I will be crossing this venue off my list purely because of the poor customer service I have already encountered. If scheduling a tour is so difficult I can't imagine actually trusting them as my venue.

Gorgeous venue in the post office building conveniently located in Downtown Dallas. Amazing rooftop ceremony and an old court room for a reception of dinner and dancing.

I can't say enough about how wonderful The Venue at 400 North Ervay is for a wedding reception! We worked with Sarah and Kristin and they went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything went smoothly. Their professionalism and attention to detail is spectacular. Their attitudes are sweet and accommodating. Because of this, we were able to relax and enjoy the entire wedding day. They worked as coordinators for all the vendors and we even had the florist and caterers comment on how helpful and gracious they were to work with. It is a gorgeous venue and because of the historical aspects of the building, our guests were intrigued by all of it! Our plans were to have the dinner in the Courtroom and move upstairs to the rooftop for the dance, but it began raining early afternoon and we had to change plans. Kristin and Sarah calmly and efficiently made the necessary changes and everything was PERFECT! Beautiful setting, fantastic staff, and we could not have been more pleased!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and a huge part of that perfection was due to the staff and services provided by the Venue at 400 North Ervay. From my initial contact with the Venue (Kristin), to the time we drove away in our get away car on the big day, I was nothing less than impressed! Kristin was so open to our ideas for our wedding and was willing to accomodate basically anything we asked for! She helped us with the every detail along the way, and she made our actual wedding day stress free. Another great service of the venue is how they will do so much for you. We literally just dropped off all of our items (i.e. guestbook, table decor, etc) a few days before, and the staff at the venue set up all of it and made it look tasteful and beautiful. They make you feel much calmer in the sea of stress that is wedding planning! We loved having our wedding on an amazing rooftop in the middle of downtown. It was an amazing ceremony and our guests are still talking about how unique and one of a kind the Venue was for a wedding. The courtroom was another huge draw to us when we were looking for venues. My husband is a social studies teacher, so he was sold because of the unique history of the building. The building truly sells itself. the venue at 400 North Ervay was the dream venue for us, and we were 100% satisfied. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to have our wedding!
