ll the tables, chairs, centerpieces, food, alcohol, etc- things I would have normally had to piece together at a venue. (A life-saver for an out-of-town bride!) We had a food tasting included that was about 4 months in advance. My only feedback is that they weren't terribly quick on replying to my emails until we got right up to the event. We got lots of compliments on how beautiful the space was and the staff were incredible!

They had cylinders for candles, lanterns and all kinds of decorations. There is also a beautiful patio with a fireplace. They have a wall with a sophisticated design that lights up. They used the wedding colors for light and it was perfect. When we went to check everything the day before, it was PERFECT! We didn’t have to do anything! Elizabeth was great to work with and all the servers we very attentive. I would give it 10 stars if it was possible.

ew it was our venue and then Julian made it a solid yes after talking to him the first time. He was so helpful and everything was so easy for us. Not only did we only have 90 days to pull this off I was also 33 weeks pregnant for the big day and they took care of EVERYTHING. the decor, food, our guests, it was just an absolute dream. I didn't have to life a single finger on my big day and got to enjoy every minute of it. I am so happy we picked this venue and put our big day in their hands. We have been told so many times by our guests how beautiful and wonderful their food was. Not only that but Elizabeth was also an absolute favorite to work with. She hand made all of our greenery and made the entire venue gorgeous. I could go on forever about how much we loved this place. 100000000/100 recommend.

enue was where we wanted to host our daughter’s wedding. My daughter and her fiancé were also in agreement. They laid out the timeline of what needed to be done, and when it needed to be done and then told me again and again when I asked even though I had it in writing but I was constantly double checking and they never got frustrated with my questions. I imagine from their combined experience they understood my worries and often times answered questions before we even asked. We hired Elizabeth from The Venue to be our day-of coordinator. Elizabeth’s attention to detail was amazing. She listened to what my daughter wanted - offered suggestions when we were unsure of something but never pressured us into anything we didn’t want. Julian worked with my daughter and her fiancé to create the dinner of their dreams. As well as a signature cocktail that was an absolute hit with our wedding guests - it was some type of bourbon peach tea. The dinner consisted of a salad, brisket, pesto chicken, cheesy potatoes, vegetable medley, etc. I can’t even express the number of compliments we received from our guests regarding how excellent the food was, “the brisket and chicken were moist and the delicious..” “..those cheesy potatoes - sooo good…” “…if this was a restaurant, I would eat here everyday..” on and on. Even two weeks out I’m still receiving messages from people regarding the food. Additionally, the staff operated like a five-star restaurant, tables were cleared seamlessly and the tables never looked messy or unattended. We also received tons of positive feedback on The Venue itself. Our guests liked the smooth transition from the ceremony room straight to cocktail hour in the reception area. No need to wait for the staff to flip the room it was ready to go immediately following the ceremony. Our photographer found great spots to take bridal party photos outside in the greenery and the bar area. Th wedding was carried out beautifully, everything went according to plan. We also hosted the rehearsal dinner there in one of the smaller rooms for about 30 people. The menu for that was an Italian feast, which was also carried out as seamlessly as the wedding day. The Venue in Leawood - truly a hidden gem.

Also, the food was the best wedding food we've ever had, and our guests all agreed and were vocal about it. Highly recommend doing a late nite snack, it was a hit!

re time up to our Reception day in July 2021! They stayed in contact, made changes where necessary and were absolutely wonderful to work with. We had gotten the food and drink package (amazing!) and made use of the dressing room (which was very well lit and roomy). The owner had food options for my guests who had dietary restrictions as well. There was so much room for all 100+ of my guests and tons of room to dance! They provided 90% of the décor (which had many options to choose from) and I only had to bring some candles, cake cutting knife and champagne glasses (and whatever else we wanted specifically)! We got the place at 10am to when the party was over! They also helped clean up and I only had to worry about cleaning up the dressing room. They even helped me gather my décor and gifts. My husband and I snuck out to take some night time outdoor photos and the outdoor space made the prefect background. My husband and I couldn't have picked a better place to hold our reception at. I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could.

All of our guests were in awe with how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food and beverages were, and ultimately everyone had so much fun. When it came to planning, Julian made sure it was everything we could possibly want. He was very thorough with every detail at each meeting and was always so easy to contact with any questions or comments that popped up. Him and his team were very attentive during the wedding, helping the flow of the entire night move so smoothly that we could focus on enjoying our wedding. Truly so grateful we chose such great people to work with!

The space was lovely – plenty of room for all our guests to spread out. It was also nice that there was a separate bridal room where we could keep our things and have a private bathroom. The thing we heard most about from our guests was how amazing the food was. The wait staff also did a great job of keeping plates cleared, and all the employees made it so that the evening was stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend The Venue!

t 2020 brought us, The Venue team stuck with us, reassured us, and worked with us as we nvaigated through it all. They were responsive throughout the process, attentive to every detail, and when the night came they did an amazing job. I never once had to worry about managing a single aspect of the flow of the evening, and the food was incredible! We used The Venue for both the rehersal dinner and the reception and I could not be happier in this decision. The space and the team were perfect for us. I would highly recommend them.

I am a COVID bride, and Julian was extremely professional as we rescheduled our wedding reception that was supposed to be in May, a couple of months later to July. Then Venue is extremely clean, sleek, modern, and the service is impeccable! The food they cater for their events is absolutely delicious; the majority of our wedding reception guests told us that this was the best wedding meal they have ever had out of all of the weddings they have attended throughout their lives. Julian and his team are efficient, know how to get the job done, and are incredible to work with!

The Venue in Leawood was the sixth venue that we viewed, and we left with such excitement knowing that it was the venue that we wanted to get married at; it really did exceed all exceptions of how the venue looked on the day with those little touches (especially the lighting), and how the day came together. Nothing was ever too much for ask for, and questions were always answered super-fast. Everything felt so personal and dedicated to us, devoted to making our day as incredible as it could be. Julian worked with us, giving us multiple options and never pressured into something we felt uncomfortable with. The venue is stunning and so incredibly peaceful! We truly experienced a fairy-tale wedding at The Venue in Leawood! Thank you for also controlling the situation that happened as I was sure would impact everything we had planned but it didn’t. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. Thank you Julian and your team, you guys made our day the most special day of our lives.

ul throughout the entire process! i am not the most decisive person and am a very laid back, but they were so helpful in helping me make important decision and everything looked amazing! The whole night ran smoothly and they were extremely accommodating with food allergies to make sure everyone was able to enjoy their meals. Not to mention the food was AMAZING! Typically wedding food is usually just okay when being made in bulk, but we got SO many compliments on the pasta and love it ourselves. Not enough good things to say about the venue and LOVED having out special night there!

It was great that they had a timeline in place that we met about up about 6 times from our initial visit to the meeting a week before. The Venue was also affordable and could hold our large guest count of 240 comfortably. The food was amazing and the table set up was beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone!

ever know it once you are inside! The owner, Julian, and his wife, Elizabeth, were a pleasure to work with. They are truly professionals and made me feel so special each time I met with them. Julian is the head chef and prepared the dinner for our guests. There are also liquor packages included. These two things sold me on this venue because it was an easy, package deal. Julian added an outdoor tent outside for my winter wedding which added a third bar and another location for guests to gather. Julian and Elizabeth also had a ton of Christmas decor up which made it so festive for the time of year. We had a hot chocolate bar and even a late night snack. The dance floor was big enough to keep the party going all night long with our live band. I am incredibly impressed with this wedding venue and my mom and I would HIGHLY recommend it for anyone looking!

is an absolutely amazing celebration! We had numerous, spontaneous comments from our guests regarding the beautiful decorations and delicious food! Also, we made a VERY wise decision retaining his colleague Elizabeth as our on-site coordinator. She kept us on schedule and offered many helpful suggestions. Madison Oswald is our only daughter, so we wanted her to have a memorable wedding day, and The Venue in Leawood certainly did its part to accomplish that goal! I'm sure Madison and her husband Steve are now keeping the party going in Maui!

Julian is a great cook - we had the food stations and the food was fantastic! Elizabeth did a great job of organizing the ceremony together with our officiant and had some good ideas which we hadnt considered. The way she decorated both the ceremony and the reception room was spot on. We had puzzles and coloring stations and she organized drinks for the pre-ceremony room so the guests could mingle before the wedding, and she always came and checked in with us about details we missed and kept us on track for the rest of the evening. Over all it was a really memorable time and in no small part due to The Venue and its entire staff. Thank you to Julian, Elizabeth and their entire team!

linens, set up, and tear down. Julian was always available and responded in a timely manner. We had access to the room at 10am the day of our event, which was the perfect amount of time. The food was well prepared and our guests gave many compliments on it. Our only complaint was that our guests were hot and there wasn't anything they could do to fix it. emony. Although this venue had never done that before, they were quick to agree and helped make this idea a reality. Having everyone already seated made cocktail hour and the transition to dinner very easy and comfortable. Food: Dinner was delicious! You have to try Julian’s lasagna! Even guests who don’t really like Italian raved about the lasagna. The food was so good that I wished I wasn’t in my wedding dress so I could eat more! We had a cake delivered and Julian helped us to get the cake set up and staff helped us cut and serve the cake. Bar: We had an open bar with beer and wine and a signature cocktail. The cocktail was pretty light on the liquor but tasted great so we didn’t mind. Our guests commented that the bartenders were really friendly and even remembered certain guests’ drinks so that when they went for more, they were quickly served. Music: We opted to have our own music instead of a DJ. We brought our own speakers to play both the processional music and the dancing. This worked great for us and everyone had a fun time dancing the night away. The processional was beautiful and the space was gorgeous! Amenities: The bridal suite is beautiful. Huge mirrored walls made getting ready fun and the pictures will be beautiful. The bridal suite has a private bathroom and a mini-fridge. The bathrooms in the venue are also very nice. The space provides tables and chairs, linens, table settings, center pieces, table numbers, faux flowers for the tables, and candles. There is an outside sitting area and a beautiful array of roses and plants near an arbor for lovely pictures. Management & Staff: Julian and Elizabeth were excellent at coordinating all of the details of my wedding. We planned the wedding in 6 months remotely, and they were so flexible. My partner and I live in NY State and they were always quick to answer questions or take calls to help us plan and envision our wedding day even though we were not able to see the venue in person. We had calls and email meetings several times leading up to the wedding and were able to meet in person the week before the wedding to settle any details. The day of the wedding Julian and Elizabeth did an awesome job providing all of the electronics, microphones, and projector. The tables looked beautiful and I didn’t have to add a single thing to them. The food and bar staff were effective, professional, and classy. Elizabeth helped me clean up at the end and all in all I had an amazing experience with the whole staff. The Venue in Leawood cannot be beat for the service and amenities you get for the price. TLDR The Venue in Leawood was an amazing place for our wedding and I would recommend it to anyone.

l 5th the Rehearsal Dinner and on Sunday April 8th a Farewell Brunch. They OVER EXCEED our expectations !!! The food was DELICIOUS. The decorations were AMAZING. The cake was SPECTACULAR. The staff attention was SUPERB. Julian and Elizabeth were MORE THAN AWESOME, both of them understood our daughter’s dreams and did every effort to made come true. They also helped us find DJ, Band, Photographers, Beauty Saloon and housing arrangements with the Aloft Hotel and transportations. We appreciate all their hard work and thank them for everything they did. We truly recommended The Venue in Leawood for any kind of event and give a big round of applause to Julian, Elizabeth and all their personnel: Matt, Valentin, Carmen, Jose, among other names. al. Their staff was very professional and catered to our guests. The Venue is absolutely beautiful. We chose to do both the ceremony and reception all there and they did a great job with logistics of everything and helping keep everything run smoothly. If there were problems that arose they handled them perfectly and I was none the wiser.

They accommodated all of our requests and were so nice about everything. The venue itself is beautiful and was the perfect space for our reception. They provided food and drink, set up and tear down, and were worth every penny. The Venue also worked very well with all of our other vendors. If we could give them 10 stars, we would!
