The Villagio

We learned about The Villagio through a family friend, who hosted her daughter’s wedding reception there about 10 years ago. The family friend attended a wedding there in more recent years; and still raved about the venue and owner. Based on her referral, we toured the venue. For starters, we didn’t know a wedding venue existed where it’s located; one might consider it a hidden gem! The property is a stand alone building with plenty of parking, great for those looking for a venue where your event is the only event for the day. Inside of the venue was very clean, including the restrooms. The venue offers the option of inside or outside ceremony areas and a ballroom reception space. The Bride and Groom Suites are located upstairs and is adequate space for small wedding parties (we had 10 wedding party members in total). We were looking for a venue to host both our ceremony and reception, this venue checked the box on that one. The Villagio offers a variety packages to choose from based on your specific needs and wants. We selected a package that was “all-inclusive” - food (appetizers and main course), non-alcoholic beverages, chargers, stemware/flatware, napkins, cake cutting service, cake, wait staff, engagement and wedding day photography with and 8x10 photo book, 11x14 and 16x20 prints and digitals of all photos, up lighting and custom dance floor monogram for reception, 1 hour ceremony rehearsal time, and all fresh florals for ceremony and reception decor and wedding party members. We selected add ons - bar service/champagne toast (which adds HPD officer charge), draped walls for the reception, and a guest sign-in book of our engagement photos. After our choices were made, the venue owner Trish took it from there. Just tell her what you want and trust her to execute. I was a very open bride, I didn’t have very many requirements - I just wanted everything to be nice and elegant. Yet, at the same time I wanted to know all the details (I think because I’m a visual person and wanted to know what everything was going to look like). With the reassurance of our family friend, my mother, and day of coordinator, I just had to step back and trust the process; trusting that Trish knows what she’s doing…she’s been in the business for years. Once you share your colors with her, she will provide examples of florals and decor. Trish also coordinated the cake and food tasting with the venues preferred vendors. Our experience with the vendors was exceptional; all were very professional and we had a great tasting experience. The photographer (Thai) provided great service as well. We were able to select the day and location of our engagement shoot and received the pictures back in a timely manner. We were amazed at the amount of photos to choose from; he took so many pictures, a variety of poses and 2 outfits - which is a good thing! On wedding day, the wedding party arrived to a clean venue. Once I walked down the aisle, I saw the beautiful decor and I could say the same for the reception area. Our guests had a great experience as well; with clean restrooms, professional wait staff, and tasty food and drinks. We are still receiving compliments from our guests on our wedding! The day was simply gorgeous! Overall, we would highly recommend The Villagio and the preferred vendors! We had a great experience. Our wedding day will truly be one to remember!

We loved our wedding! The decor was perfect. The food was amazing. The process was smooth. The staff was nice and attentive. Ms. Trish was such a great wedding coordinator. I definitely recommend!

I had my absolute DREAM wedding with Trish's help at the Villagio. She literally provided everything I needed except the minister and the dj. She made every step so easy and answered the phone any time I called with questions. I can't suggest this place enough. Take some of the stress away and just book here!

This was top of our list and we were so happy to have secured the venue for our big day. From start to finish Trish made everything so easy. Anytime I had a simple question, she was just a text or a phone call away. The best part was that everything that we needed for our wedding was there at her venue. The venue and owner Trish were amazing and so helpful throughout the entire process! Our guests felt like millionaires entering. From, the decorations, Food, etc were Great! The number of compliments we got during and after our wedding has been incredible! This venue made my wedding day everything I dreamed of!! It felt like a fairytale 10/10 would recommend it!

This venue is a one stop shop. Trish is very reasonable and she worked so hard to make sure my vision was executed well. The food was great, the decor was wonderful. We even rented tuxedos last minute. My guests had a wonderful time and gave us many compliments on finding this beautiful, huge secluded place.

First of all, WOW! Trish brought my vision to life y'all. I am currently working and attending school full time while remodeling my home and planning a wedding. It is clear that I have been a busy bee. Well, Trish was always available for me anytime of the day. She preferred text, which was one of my favorite things about the way she runs her venue because I did not have time (or patience) to make a phone call for a simple question nor to wait until normal business hours to reach her. She was very organized and professional. I got the biggest package she offered which included everything down to the cake. I only had to find a DJ and an officiant. She does all the flower arrangements, all the food, and her husband (did not know this at the time) does the photography (I will be doing a review on him as well if I can). I can go on and on about this amazing lady but to keep it simple, stop looking, this is the venue for your dream wedding. Trish we love and we thank you. The Williams'

Such an amazing experience from beginning to end! From having to change my wedding date 2 times due to COVID, Trish made this an easy and stress free process! This venue is truly a hidden gem! An all inclusive venue?! You can’t beat that! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and the guest loved everything! 10/10 recommend!

We chose the Villagio after visiting several venues that required us to bring in our own vendors. The Villagio offered the option of doing everything for us - catering, decor, flowers, ceremony, reception. This is totally my vibe! We wanted a beautiful wedding with no stress. I can't tell you how much the Villagio over delivered and remained budget friendly. We were very pleased with everything. The vendors were all professional and kind. The food was delicious. Not only was it an amazing wedding for us, but our guests are still raving over how nice the venue is. I would highly recommend The Villagio.

Me and my now husband had a horrible experience of our venue filing bankruptcy and closing a month and half before our wedding day. Our wedding coordinator connected us to Trish with The Villagio, and we were able to book with her to have our same wedding date as we initially planned with the previous venue. Trish worked with us and made all accommodations to ensure we were still able to have the desires we wanted despite the nightmare of what had happened. She was highly professional and offers a beautiful venue with unique perks and amenities. We enjoyed our day, and our guests have been raving about how gorgeous the venue was. I would definitely recommend The Villagio for your event venue.

I had my wedding at The Villagio and it was everything I ever wanted and more! The venue is very spacious and elegant in every way. Everything was perfect; from the decor to the food and cake. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I'm so glad I chose to have my wedding at The Villagio. Trish was amazing and helpful in every way. I was one happy bride!!

We had our wedding at The Villagio January 19, 2019. My husband and I booked our day almost two years prior, which was great because many venues don’t book that far in advance. The first time we went to the venue, as soon as we arrived my husband gave me a smirk, and we both knew instantly that was OUR venue. Trish was very attentive and always answered any questions we had. We were looking for a venue, that would provide full service, where we didn't have to do absolutely nothing on the day of my wedding, but show up enjoy our union. We found exactly what we wanted at The Villagio. Trish provides almost everything you need for your wedding; flowers, table cloths, fine china, cake, catering, photographer etc. Which was perfect since you don't have to keep up with so many vendors. The two year engagement was worth it, our wedding day exceeded our expectations! Everything was just perfect, and all of the 169 guests complimented the venue and what a great time they had.

From the moment we met Trish we instantly clicked. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. We were able to have the wedding of our dreams and our reception at the same venue. Trish bought our dreams to reality. We showed her pictures of our ideas and she was able to go above and beyond. If you are looking for a reliable venue that have everything at your fingertips look no further. The decor was impeccable, food was awesome, service was 5-star. The best decision we made was to go with The Villiago. Trish and her team allowed us to pick everything to make our own. The Villiago is hands down the best wedding experience we ever had.

Trish was wonderful! Because of her, our wedding day went perfect. She made our vision come true, even to the smallest detail. We only had about 6 months to plan but Trish was able to make it happen for us. The food was excellent, the decorations were beautiful and the overall look was breathtaking! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is planning an event. I can’t say enough.

I absolutely Loved the Villagio since the day i first walked through the doors. Trish was great and by my side for all the questions i had and i had plenty! Kory and I got married on April 14, 2018, and the ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous! It was everything I could have dreamed of and so much more, and Trish and the vendors associated with her were professional, polished, and on time with everything that needed to be delivered to have a perfect wedding. She gave me my perfect wedding, and we have received so many compliments on the wedding, and all 220 of our guest had such a great time. I highly recommend booking at her venue, and take it from a previous bride, this is a decision you would not regret!

Where do I began? The villagio really provided us our dream wedding. I couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The food was amazing, the decor was to die for, and the planner was everything a bride needed and more. Every penny was worth it.

Trish and her team were great! We were unable to use our original venue due to the Hurricane Harvey aftermath, and so had to find a new reception venue only 3 weeks before our wedding! Trish was very understanding and worked with us to meet our needs. We had many compliments on the space!

Trish was a true professional in helping us plan our marriage reception, since we had no experience with wedding planning. The hall is nice, spacious and elegant (the pictures here do not do it justice!). Trish was always ready to help us and was available at all hours for any impromptu questions or concerns. Having our reception at the Villagio was an incredible experience. The food, cake, flowers and decorations were taken care of, with no need to find and coordinate with individual vendors. In addition, the photographer, Thai, did an impressive job with our wedding pictures. All of our guests had a blast and constantly praised the quality of the food, and the beauty of the hall. The dance floor is large, which was a priority for us. Trish especially made my wife happy with the hall decorations, flowers, and wedding coordination, allowing her to relax and enjoy the party. I would strongly suggest anyone looking for a professional and elegant wedding to choose the Villagio as their venue.

Beautiful space! My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the Villagio this past labor day weekend, and are very happy with our choice. Trish is both a wonderful venue coordinator and florist. Throughout our planning process she was professional, flexible, communicative, pretty much all the things you'd hope for while planning your big day. Our decorations looked absolutely beautiful, and the food and four tier cake were both delicious!!! In addition, we were able to provide our own alcohol for the evening, which was a nice saving. We had the Ultimate package, and also opted to pay an additional $500 for a day of planner (which we would also definitely recommend - Jennifer Tom from Premier Events & Decor helped our day flow seamlessly). Ultimately, most weddings are expensive, but overall we felt like we received the most bang for our buck here after checking out several other venues throughout Houston. We received so many compliments from our guests about every aspect of the evening. Would definitely recommend the Villagio!

We decided on the Villagio & couldn't be happier! The venue is clean, spacious, and simply elegant. We had our ceremony and reception here. Trish, owner & overall planner, is prompt, thorough, charismatic and easy to work with. The venue is tucked away at the end of a street, with private parking & far from the street. There are inside/outside room options, but the trademark is a beautiful spiral staircase for a grand bridal entrance! The package we chose was the Ultimate II. This package comes with everything except the DJ and videographer so we didn’t have to worry about hiring various vendors for each part of our wedding. Trish already has a strong vendor selection. Our package came with food, cake, linens, floral arrangements, photo booth, lighting, photography, 2 HPD officers, and a wedding coordinator. We paid extra for drapery and it was beautiful. The caterers allowed us to test the food in a prior meeting so we can give them very specific details. Our wedding food was amazing. We had baked chicken Marsala, catfish New Orleans, garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus. For alcohol, we were able to bring in our own choice liquors for a more personalized service. We saved money. A lot of venues charge an arm and a leg for their alcoholic beverage package and Trish did not. She allows you to buy your own and does not make a single penny from the bar. She even supplied sprite, coke, ice and two bartenders for us. Our wedding cake was 4 tiers with three different flavors and it was delicious. The Villagio is truly a one stop shop when it comes to planning a nice wedding. Our guests were speechless as they entered the reception and saw how beautiful everything turned out. Trish was flexible with my husband and I as we were planning our wedding from another city. There were a few things that I did not like throughout the process, but overall we had a good experience. Some of the things that I did not like were:(1) she failed to tell me an important detail (extra costs for a bartender or that my package had changed) when I had to decrease my number of guests - luckily it was only $175. (2) she was not there to open the facility on my wedding day and (3) her cleaning crew had not completely cleaned up the facilities that morning. We did not know there would be another wedding on the same day as ours. My bridal suite still had makeup and used soap in the shower from the previous party and the bridesmaids' room still had trash lying on the table. On a positive note though, Trish does provide a beautiful venue. The catering and cake vendors she provides are very professional and they have great food! My cake was beautiful and tasted great. Besides those few hiccups, Trish was professional and worked with us pretty well.

I came across The Villagio to check the place out and make sure we exhaust all as many options before booking a secure venue we love. This was probably the 4th place we looked at. SO THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY ON JUST AN INITIAL MEETING WITH HER. We did not book the place....and I will mention why. When I arrived to meet with Trish, she appeared to be slightly scatter brained and intermittently more in tuned with texting on her phone when she was supposed to be having a 1 on 1 meeting with me. She presented the list of packages offered to me and immediately asked "Okay, so which one do you want?" What immediately began running through my mind was, "Umm, isn't that your job to explain what each package entails? I have NO clue what I may want...you just gave it to me 10 seconds ago." Immediately turned off by that. Then she quickly came across as being slightly pushy with getting me to choose something that day or soon. She did not do a decent job with explaining where/how things would go if I chose to book the venue. It was more of "here's this ceremony, look at pictures on my phone of how other brides had their wedding, ok now here's the reception area, ok do you have any questions?" Definitely did not feel comfortable talking to her once I began noticing these traits. I've been to other venues where the coordinators/event managers we so so so polite, patient and professional. But Trish did not come off that way for me. Not to say she was extremely rude...no not at all. But again like I said, she lacked in the 3 qualities I mentioned earlier..considering I'm giving you a chunk of money for MY wedding! Also, she never took me on a tour of the upstairs area. I had to do it myself!! I LOVED the layout of the ceremony and reception...but unfortunately, Trish turned me away. I was afraid if she was this unprofessional during this meeting, I'd hate to see her during the process of my wedding planning. Now I know lots of other past brides loved her and gave high reviews...but honestly MY personal gut just did not feel right with her.

I had my ceremony and reception at The Village on Sunday, November 15, 2015 and it was everything I could have dreamed of! This venue is all inclusive with a variety of packages to fit your budget. My husband and I selected the Ultimate Package and chose to use all of the vendors that were included in it except for the photographer. The food was AMAZING! My guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. My cake was a custom design and consisted of 3 flavors. My guests also loved the cake...its been a point of discussion since the wedding also! You also have the option of bringing in your own alcohol, which I chose to do. Trish (the venue owner) supplies unlimited soft drinks, mixers, and bartenders to serve your guests. The venue itself is spacious, clean, and simply elegant. The owner, Trish, is extremely helpful! She is very prompt at responding to all of your questions and concerns, and always made herself available when I needed to meet with her. She's also very understanding! My husband and I ran into some financial hardships a month before our wedding. She was patient with us, and for that we are truly grateful. She made our planning and preparation so simple. She even surprised me with a beautiful addition to my reception decor! She's a pro! If you book The Villagio you will be in great hands! Trish...thank you so much! Cedrick and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Trish and The Villagio. Trish and her team were extremely professional and provided quality customer service. They went above and beyond the call of duty. It's because of them, I had the wedding of my dreams! The way my ceremony, reception, food and décor turned out, I was left speechless. We received wonderful feedback from family and friends on how lovely, professional, and creative the decorations were...especially the flowers and bouquets, lighting and the crystal arrangements on the table! Most importantly, Trish made us feel apart of their family, and made sure we were taken care of.

The venue exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and we received plenty of compliments on the decor. Trish and her husband were amazing and helped us out with anything we needed. She was awesome. All of the staff was very helpful. We literally ran into 0 problems throughout our big day. It was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue. When it was all said and done; my new hubby and I were happy. Trish - the owner- did a good job. She's a tough business woman, and ultimately fair (price wise). She and her husband - Thai- offer an inclusive package of mostly what you need. This entails engagement & bridal portrait photography, portrait book, catering, florals, lighting, centerpieces, table setting & linens, and bride's cake only. Our only brush of conflict was the costs of certain elements adding up with the details, meaning basic centerpieces vs. upgraded centerpieces or basic fruit/cheese tray vs. wanting to have chicken skewers (which was an upgrade). Although, who really knows that stuff from jumpstart?!?! My then fiancee and I were not exactly knowledgable and hip to the 'wedding game scheme' in the beginning-I should add. So there were some surprises and unknowingly situations between our planner and venue. If you have a wedding planner, make absolute sure that they are thoroughly involved with communication for this place. Sometimes the owner would get caught up with being a 'planner' and not keeping in touch with my planner. The owner is more of a venue owner and wedding designer i.e. table setting, lighting, flowers, and centerpieces. However, a planner makes sure you're getting what you need and want for your budget. One last thing, that really burned me....I'm not sure who's fault this would be but..... after we took portraits, no one told me that we would get copies of our pictures in hand - I guess by request. Instead, when the pictures were posted online, I paid $600 for prints of various dimensions. I just wish I would have been made aware before paying such money for those prints. I know that I could have gotten those prints for much cheaper from somewhere else. This was baffling because the portraits were included in our initial fee, but I just had to take it as a very unnecessary lost.

I had my reception here and it was everything and more that I could imagine. I absolutely loved everything.

My sister's wedding this past weekend at the villagio was phenominal! Trish has been nothing but professional from day one when we decided on The Villagio as the reception venue. The decoration was beyond my imagination and as one of our guest rightly summed it up, it was a "wonderland." The added surprise from Trish and our wedding planner Lee of LeeLand Designs brought everything together beautifully. The waitstaff was amazing. We have received calls from some of our guest complimenting us on the service of the waitstaff! The engagement pictures and my niece's graduation pictures are a work of art. We can not wait for the rest of Thai's pictures because the quality of his work is extraordinary. Thank you Thai and Trish for this wonderful experience! Don't know which of us sisters is getting married next but we all know where the reception is going to be!!!!

Honestly the best decision I made concerning my wedding. The Villagio is a beautiful venue. I love the fact that the location is private and the parking lot is large. Those were the two things I was concerned about for my guest, definitely didn't want any of them to have to park far or in the grass. It was a pleasure working with the owner and she was very helpful and always available when I need her. 100% happy on my wedding day.

Trish was fabulous - she's pricey but very good at what she does. She decorated for me and made my cake. Cake was both beautiful and tasty.
