The Virtues Golf Club

I was looking for a venue who did it all so I would have one contact to worry about but I also was looking for quality. The staff there is amazing and very passionate about what they do! The venue itself is beautiful inside and outside which is very easy to work with. They also took care of the food, drinks, decorations (you pick out some there and bring your own and they set up and tear down for you), you can hire an outside company to decorate for you and they work with cake vendors you can choose what you want. It's easy and affordable! They are amazing and quick with communication so it sets your mind at ease. I would highly recommend Longaberger to any bride to be!

We had our wedding reception at Longaberger July 2014 and were incredibly happy with the service, food, setting and overall organization. Melody is fantastic to work with she is amazingly organized and helpful getting the details correct. Longaberger has amazing vendors that they recommend and work well with everyone involved with the event. The food is fantastic, from the bar to the appetizers to the main course to the cake everything was delicious, served promptly and the staff was very attentive. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding in the future.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Longaberger Golf Club on June 21, 2014. Everything was absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough good things about Melody Sommer and all of the staff that we encountered throughout the process. Melody was extremely responsive to my (many) questions, and always had a wonderful recommendation when we asked. We live out of town about 2.5 hours, and Melody was always accommodating to our schedules The day of went extremely smoothly. Longaberger staff took care of all of the set-up and tear down, even for things that we provided. They assembled centerpieces, decorated the trellis used for the ceremony, and many other things. The food was excellent, and they were very accommodating with our requests. We had guests ranging from vegans to carnivores, and EVERYONE was satisfied. We also had a chocolate fountain and a late-night pizza snack- all big hits! Another highlight of the wedding day was spending time there with my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law. The bridal suite was a perfect size for us (7 people total). I arranged for mimosas and a sandwich platter/fruit salad to be delivered, and it was a huge hit! Melody was always around for our questions and did everything she could to make the period before the wedding as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. She took care of all of the coordination, made sure we knew where to be and when. In addition to the wonderful staff, the location is picturesque. Our photographer loved it, as did all of our guests. If I had to plan all over again, there is no way that I would go anywhere else. Absolutely wonderful!

Longaberger Golf Club was very accomodating. Melody is absolutely wonderful to work with. They did everything from set up, tear down, catering, and providing the alcohol to setting out the favors on the table, setting up our gift table and decorating it as well as the program table. We had one negative interaction with a specific bar tender that didn't seem to be happy to be working that evening. Unfortunately she had negative interactions with several of our guests as well as my MOH, Father of the Bride, Best Man and even the groom. She did not reflect the great service that every other Longaberger employee did. Although her negativity was wide spread it did not keep our guests or bridal party from greatly enjoying the evening. She did cause me to only rate the golf club a 4 instead of a 5, if not for her they would have received 5 stars. I highly recommend Longaberger Golf Club for both your ceremony and reception!

Between Melody, Bethany and the facility, the wedding and reception were perfect!! Melody made sure that everything was exactly as we wanted. She was so professional and very easy to work with. It's hard to believe that planning a wedding & reception could be so stress-free for the Bride & family. I'm sure Melody & Bethany absorbed the stress for us!!!! They had a list of our Venders and stayed in contact with them to keep abreast of all our plans. Every detail was precise and they were on site for anything we may need. They are a wonderful team! We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue for our Wedding and Reception. The wedding overlooked the beautiful countryside and golf course and the banquet room was decorated to perfection. I recommend Longaberger Golf Club for a perfect event!!!

Melody sommers helped us out a lot she coordinated their schedule to meet our DJs. Everything ran smoothly and looked great. They set up the tables and decor asked asked. Not only did they cater to us this is where we had our ceremony(outside under a tent) and reception (insider it ballroom) BEAUTIFUL venue and great opportunity for pics!! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is getting married!!!!!!

The staff at LGC was beyond wonderful. Melody was so helpful during the whole process. She was able to give me the piece of mind I needed for my wedding day. I knew that I wouldn't have to worry about anything, because she took care of everything. Our reception was absolutely beautiful. Everyone is still complimenting the food, wine, and the service. I would definitely recommend LGC to anyone for any event.

The team at the LGC is absolutely wonderul. The truly make the day about you and adjust as need be to the last minute changes. I was suppose to get married on the patio and the reception was to be held inside, but on the day of the wedding, although it was beautiful outside, we had 40 mile an hour winds, and I did not want to take any chances . They adjusted and accomidated and everything went off with out a hitch! Thanks for making our day special.

I had my wedding reception at Longaberger and was very pleased with the planning process and with the result. They have an excellent, professional and knowledgeable staff that really helps to ease the stress of wedding planning. They also have a lot of different options so you can really customize a reception that meets your needs.
