on us a month after we signed the contract because they forgot there was a golf tournament the same day as our wedding. left us scrambling to find a venue within our budget for the same day since we already signed contracts with other vendors. The coordinator was very apologetic, but felt like a bandaid on a burn wound (as in completely useless). We were offered the Trailhead venue, which is there members only clubhouse, but lacks all of the charm that drew us to the venue in the first place. She offered a "considerable discount" of 10% to move our date. Needless to say, we were insulted by such a minescule discount for completely derailing our big day. Don't worry, we found another venue who actually felt horrible about our situation and has been extremely helpful and budget friendly. I guess just check that they don't forget about an event on your day, or find another venue that doesn't make such a huge mistake after you've already signed contracts and put down deposits.

l planning and discussions went well. I felt that I was communicating everything as clearly as possible. Unfortunately things did not pan out as perfectly as I imagined. From my initial visit, I only discussed having our ceremony at one particular site. The issue is that their ceremony sites have different names, and these names are not listed in their brochure. Two weeks before my wedding, I received a text from the venue asking me to confirm the ceremony site we wanted. I did...only to get a reply that they did not list that correctly on the initial contract we signed and that if we wanted to have our ceremony at that location it would be an additional $1200, but they could do it for $700 for us. Well ok, thats great - we obviously didnt want to change things that close to the wedding so we paid the additional money. For our food tasting we were extremely impressed with their head chef - his menu options were amazing! We chose a steak medallion dish as well as a chicken and pasta dish. The chicken dish was what I was most excited about! I literally told everyone that it was amazing and many guests chose it based on what I told them. it was supposed to be chicken with a creamy rosa sauce over pasta. The sauce made the dish, it had a slight spice and was seriously delicious. However that is not what we received. On the wedding day, our guests who chose chicken received a chicken breast next to pasta with plain marinara sauce. To say I was let down, was an understatement. It was my wedding and my dinner was not good. I ended up eating steak off my maid of honors plate. They were my top two let downs of my experience with the venue. I emailed them after the wedding about these issues, but they never responded.

so incredible in helping us feel organized because we live in Colorado and everyone knows planning an out of state wedding can be difficult, but it was EASY thanks to them. We had MANY compliments on how amazing the food was and how great and smoothly the whole night went. If I were to do the whole day/night again, I would do it all the same and not change a thing.
