Waters Edge at Giovanni's was a pleasure to work with! My wife and I recently had our reception there and Giovanni's was extremely accommodating in helping us transform our very large wedding, into a smaller intimate one. The staff were extremely attentive all night and the food was delicious! Thank you Waters Edge at Giovanni's for making our special day a memorable one!

BUYER BEWARE. I was only allowed a certain amount of characters in this review so I had to cut much of it out. I think you will get the idea of what we went through. The full review is on Yelp. Our wedding was scheduled for July 17, 2020 at 6pm and was to end at 11pm. We arrived early at approx. 5:30. I was immediately greeted by our wedding coordinator Michelle. Little did I know that this would be the last we would see of Michelle for the rest of our ceremony and reception. The husband and wife owners took over at this point. This was the downfall of the whole event. The following is a list of items went wrong prior and during the ceremony: -the air conditioning was not turned down for our ceremony. We were all sweating -air conditioning was not turned down in the Bridal Suite or the bathroom -this left the hallways and the adjacent bathrooms smelling ripe -the room I got changed in was a bathroom downstairs -music was promised via the PA system prior to our ceremony, it was not provided -we were rushed around the venue by the wife of the owner The following is a list of items we were promised but were not provided: -we were promised there would be a waitress right by our side to provide anything we (bride and groom) needed. This did not happen. In fact we had to track down a waitress to order our first drink. When the drink arrived, mine was not correct. I drank it anyway. Once finished with my first drink I had to go out in the hallway to order an additional drink. -during the cocktail hour we chose 10 different appetizers. We were only offered 4 at the head table (bride and groom) -we were told that we would be able to play music during the reception through their PA system. After our first dance the PA was turned down so low that the music could not be heard. Multiple requests to the owner to turn the music up went nowhere. They kept telling us it was as loud as it could go. Worked fine the night before. -the owner’s wife would not get out of our photographers way and was in multiple photos that we obviously did not want her in. -we were rushed into cutting our cake by the owner’s wife -we were told we had a 5 hour open bar. When asked for certain drinks we were told that they did not have them -our event was from 6pm until 11pm. Our guests asked for drinks at 10:20pm and they were told that the bar was closed. -the owners gave us a feeling that we needed to rush and clean up so they could close the restaurant -paid $300 for 2 extra bus people because we were told the servers could not clear our tables. There didn’t appear to be any extra personnel at the event and the servers were the ones clearing the tables. I am sure I am missing a few items but you all get the point. This was a disaster. We were sold a bill of goods and promised many things that we did not receive. I finally lost my patience with the owners and had to yell at them on the day of my wedding. Both of them just sat there in chairs and denied they did anything wrong. I will never enter this venue again and I would suggest that no one waste their money booking an event here. We have not had any follow up contact by the venue or our coordinator Michelle.

Amazing Place. Our guest raved about the food for days after. As a bride i was amazed at how they help me accomplish a winter wonderland, everything i asked the entire staff was right there to help out. On the day of the wedding Joanne was right there to help me fluff my dress, direction on where to walk in and she even reminded me to eat.... Bonnie dealt with all my last minute phone calls and kept me calm on the final details. We love our reception and we will be back in October for nieces wedding. (which they booked right after seeing ours). When we left that night my husband and i felt like they treated us as family. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I got married and had our reception at Waters Edge at Giovanni's September. We decided to get married one week before our date. I never imagined I could have the wedding I dreamt of in such a short amount of time. Bonnie, Sal, and JoAnn all came to my rescue. From the ceremony to cocktails and dinner, everything was perfect. I had a couple of guests that needed special food because of allergies. Thank you for taking such good care of my friends. Robbie my husband was nervous because some of his family didn't know anyone. JoAnn the owner made them feel like they were at home because they knew several people in common. The food was incredible. The presentation of the food was so beautiful, and the service was perfect. I had dinner at the restaurant last week and I couldn't believe that the food in the restaurant was a little different than the event space. I had the Long Bone steak and my martini was perfect. Our wedding was Saturday September 14, 2019. To say that we had a wonderful experience is an understatement. We worked directly with Bonnie, and she and the WEG team planned every detail to perfection. They worked seamlessly with our florist (Nielsen's) and baker (Sweet Lisa's) to deliver a magical evening for us and our guests. I would wholeheartedly recommend WEG for any special occasion, or just for dinner. Thank you to the entire WEG team for your hard work, dedication and creativity!

I really don’t have the words to explain the most phenomenal experience my husband, myself and the wonderful parents of the groom had in planning our wedding at Giovanni’s! They are the most kind, honest and hardworking people we’ve ever come across. From start to finish it was the most outstanding wedding we could have given our guests and especially our children. They explained during our process how the bridal party would enter from a back location right into a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite. Stocked with chilled bottles of champagne and all the food our guests were enjoying including a spectacular raw bar. Bonnie was at the bride and grooms side every time I saw her. She made sure they had anything and everything they wanted. JoAnn took the reigns when it was time to be announced and she was unbelievable. Everything went so perfectly I couldn’t have even hoped for such attentive and fabulous treatment. From the white glove service the wait staff constantly filled 211 guests’ wine glasses. They were able to order drinks right from their seats! The food was tops - delicious and abundant throughout. That just set the tone for one of the best weddings I could have dreamed of. My daughter said it was the best night of her life! Everything Bonnie, Sal and JoAnn told us they were going to do went way above my expectations. The wedding was 5 days ago and our phones including the grooms parents haven’t stopped ringing!!! The guests couldn’t believe the FOOD, SERVICE and each table’s wait staff was better than the next. Our gratitude to these wonderful people couldn’t possibly be enough to show them how appreciative we are to them. All I can say is there’s nowhere else for me and my family than The Waters Edge!!!! Simply the very best.

My wedding is about a week away and from the time we went to WEG we knew we were in the best location. It is the first wedding for me and my fiancé and we are an older couple. We took my sister, her husband and a friend to dinner after speaking to Sal that we were looking for a wedding venue. We met Bonnie she came over to the table introduced herself spoke to us and we were sold. Half way through dinner I put a deposit for our wedding. In the months since then we have had an incredible experience with Bonnie, the staff and the food. We went for a tasting with a list of possible appetizers and dinners and we left with a menu that is perfect for us. Our number of guests has increased substantially and when we let Bonnie know she made arrangements for an additional room. Bonnie has helped me tremendously through the planning process and it has been a pleasure working with her. Our idea for this wedding is to have a Great party with fabulous food, a beautiful venue and friendly staff. We want our guests to leave our celebration saying the food was delicious and my feet hurt from dancing. I know we will accomplish our goals at WEG.

We recently had our daughter’s wedding at WatersEdge at Giovanni’s in April 2019. Everything was perfect. There isn’t anything we would do differently. Everything was wonderful, especially the delicious food, wait staff and an amazing bridal coordinator, Michelle. People often ask us what was the best part about our daughter’s wedding day and for both of us it was the fact that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Michelle was in total control - working very closely with the vendors. Their operation is smooth and slick, the co-ordination they have with their staff and vendors is amazing It was an incredible feeling to know that we could relax and enjoy the day knowing everything was going smoothly and our guests were all enjoying themselves.  Months later we still receive endless comments about how good the food noting it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. WEG sets the bar very high and exceeded all our expectations.

Giovanni’s was perfect for our wedding. The staff was great , the food was AMAZING, the view was fantastic for pictures. It’s very family Oriented. They made my husband and I feel like family from the start of planning. I would recommend this venue to everyone I know and more ! All of our guest told us it was one of the best weddings they ever been too. I can’t thank the staff enough for such a beautiful day and memorable experience!

This review is a few months overdue, but if you are still looking for your wedding reception location, The Water's Edge at Giovanni's on the Darien/Stamford border is awesome! Our wedding was truly amazing and we give a huge amount of credit to our wedding coordinator Michele. She is very passionate about her work, and from the very first phone call her confidence and professionalism put me at ease. Depending on how many people are attending your reception they will offer you a banquet room that is perfect. The space was lovely, tastefully decorated without being overdone, and beautifully lit. The furniture and table settings were perfect, and exactly what I envisioned. No corners were ever cut when it came to the food. It is over-the-top fabulous! When we had our tasting Michele made it a date night for my fiancé and I. We were able to sample all of our choices that we had selected and had a hard time choosing because everything was that good! We ended up having the raw bar at our cocktail hour and the seafood was right- off-the-boat fresh. Our guests were thrilled and enjoyed themselves. The appetizers at the cocktail hour were amazing. WEG offered us a bridal suite complete with our own attendant, and had appetizers and drinks for us, along with our own bridal suite attendant to take care of anything we needed. Our experiences were nothing short of fabulous. We originally planned to interview multiple providers, but after meeting Michele I knew I didn’t need to talk with anyone else. WEG offered the most unique experience and our reception “wowed” our guests. The compliments ranged from “what a neat place” to “the food was fabulous”. Michele and staff go out of their way to ensure a great experience. They protect the married couple, making sure they have time to eat and moments alone. The white gloved service we received was impeccable from start to finish. Throughout the process, everyone at WEG was extremely nice,professional and polite. They are dedicated to seeing that everyone has a good time and that they exceeded our expectations. Four months later and our wedding guests are still raving about Giovanni’s Water’s Edge. Our reception was truly a great, memorable experience from start to finish.

WEG is the best venue from start to finish. Look, people will remember the food, alcohol, and music at your wedding, and WEG ensured that the reception experience was stellar at every turn. The space is gorgeous; the staff is thorough and courteous; and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. People are STILL talking about how delicious everything was! The fresh mozzarella bar and the Venetian dessert hour were HUGE hits. The bartenders were befriended by our groomsmen and I hear the drinks were great (do yourself a favor, don't drink on your wedding day). Your guests will have a sterling experience at WEG. Michele is all-world! The best coordinator ever! She is accessible 24/7, always kind and enthusiastic, and has answers for everything. She is also a great resource for other vendors and how to navigate those decisions. I was in such capable hands with her. I felt like she had become part of the family by the end of it! Additionally, every time I was there, Sal and JoAnn were present to me and very welcoming. JoAnn was even the one who bustled my dress at the reception! That's how involved everyone at WEG is. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Waters Edge at Giovanni's. The food is delicious, the service is stellar-the attention to detail is fantastic and the venue is beautiful! Look no further when planning your next event!

We had our wedding reception at Giovanni's on October 27th, 2018. My husband and I worked with Bonnie for nearly two years since we were waiting for an annulment. Throughout the entire process, Bonnie was professional, understanding and accommodating. The day of the wedding, I was very surprised. The room looked better than I had imagined. I'm still receiving compliments regarding the food and the flowers. It was a magical day.

Bonnie was the best ! She took care of use from the moment we walked in the door to see the venue, to the time we left as a married couple.

We had our wedding reception at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's in Darien, CT and Michele Esposito was our wedding coordinator. The Waters Edge at Giovanni's exceeded all of our expectations and put together an amazing reception for my husband and our family and friends. Michele was always there for me throughout the entire planning process from the first day I inquired about having our reception at The Waters Edge to the day I said I do. She always responded to my emails and text messages within an hour even if it was a weekend or late at night. The venue was very flexible and adaptable to exceed all of our needs. The service at our reception was exceptional. The servers went out of their way to make my Husband and I very happy and made sure the guests received the same exceptional service. The servers made sure all the guests were comfortable. They found bottles of wine they requested that was outside the standard bottles, served espressos in addition to coffee. They did not turn away a request from us or our guests. The food that is offered in the wedding package is phenomenal with a variety of choices. You will not find at other venues the amount of food offered at cocktail hour and all of the entrees are delicious. All our guests continue to rave how great the food was at The Waters Edge. There was never a request they could not do and they are very accommodating. Their mission is to make sure the bride and groom are happy and truly make sure that this is the best day of their lives. Sal, the owner came by to congratulate us and our guests. The swan suite is gorgeous with granite floors, lots of windows, and an outdoor patio. My husband and I could go on and on how wonderful our reception was at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's and how valued they made us feel. Michele is an amazing person that makes sure everything is done to your liking and really puts you first. She is bubbly and funny and her support and dedicated communication made the planning enjoyable. I cannot wait to go back to The Waters Edge at Giovanni's and eat at their steak house for our anniversary. I will definitely be keeping in touch with Michele because she and the venue made our day! 5 stars and more all the way!

We worked with Bonnie at WEG to plan our wedding, and it was phenomenal. The food was fantastic--everyone commented about how great the cocktail hour food was, as well as the reception food! There is a wide variety of options, and they give your vegan/vegetarian/GF guests enough choices! The planning process was very easy. We felt like we were in good hands the entire time. And Bonnie went out of her way a number of times to make sure we had the best night possible. The few days leading up to our wedding, Bonnie was there holding our hands on some of the final details. We were able to see the rooms (ceremony, cocktail, and reception) set up a few days prior, and even had a bit of time to get some of our personalized decor put together so that we knew how it would look! Bonnie was also key in this-she had some great ideas and executed beautiful set ups with candles, etc. the day of. The day of the wedding was a breeze. Everyone was fantastic-Anne, our bridal attendant, and Robert, another one of the staff, were always nearby checking on the groom and I. It helped us be able to sit back and relax, and enjoy the best night of our lives!

My husband & I had our Son and Daughter in Laws wedding at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's, it was magical. From the moment we stepped onto the Red Carpet to the Tent in the back by the water, to the superior food awaiting us inside, to the Firework display we had at the after party, an unforgettable day. If you have a dream, they will help you think outside of the box and make your vision a reality. cant thank them enough and hope to work with them again.

We recently had our wedding here and it was more than we could have ever dreamed of! The venue is beautiful and they transformed the ballroom into a romantic, elegant setting for our black tie reception. From our first initial meeting with the wedding coordinator to our big day and everything in between, the staff was always reachable, prompt to get back to us, and helpful in the planning process. We had a lot of unique requests such as putting a tent up out back for cocktail hour and getting food trucks come for our after party and they were able to deliver on all of our requests! The day of staff was so attentive and professional and many of our guests commented on how excellent the service was. On top of all of this, the food was amazing! I would highly recommend The Waters Edge at Giovanni's to any bride and groom looking for their dream wedding.

Our wedding was on June 30, 2018 at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's and everything was absolutely perfect! From the initial meeting all the way to the day of, everyone at The Waters Edge was helpful, patient, and willing to sit with us to go over every last detail. On our wedding day, Bonnie and the entire staff at The Waters Edge was friendly, attentive, and professional. Even our guests were blown away by how excellent the service was on our wedding day. We cannot recommend the Waters Edge at Giovanni's enough for your wedding, truly a 5-star venue!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Waters Edge at Giovanni's on Saturday, July 7, 2018. It was the best decision. Bonnie made me feel very special from the beginning. She went above and beyond in making sure everything went well. Bonnie was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. All of our guests had a great experience and are still talking about the service, the amount of food and how delicious everything tasted. Thumbs up to Chef Mancini. The whole staff were very nice and helpful. I recommend The Waters Edge at Giovanni's 100%!

My wedding was Memorial Day weekend and hands down the best party my husband and I have ever thrown/been too. Waters edge at Giovanni’s was the first venue my husband and I looked at when we started the process. Each other venue just couldn’t compare with them which is why we booked shortly after our first meeting. Throughout the entire process we worked with Bonnie who was WONDERFUL. She genuinely cares about what we wanted and made our vision come to life. My husband is a beer snob and she was able to bring in a rare IPA on tap for the reception- everyone went crazy!! The attention to detail and service is incredible. The amount of food was far more than I’ve ever seen at a wedding reception. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere, food, and service was remarkable. Our friends and families couldn’t believe how great the food was and how much attention to detail the staff put in their work. Bonnie was amazing, as was her staff. I highly highly recommend waters edge at Giovanni’s if you want top service and AMAZING food!!!!

My husband and I got married at The Water's Edge at Giovanni's on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Let me tell you this was the best choice we could have made. Everything was just perfect. We are from out of town and Sanchi and JoAnn helped us throughout this entire stressful process called wedding planning. We originally had a different wedding coordinator (we booked about a year and a half before wedding date) by the time our wedding was happening she wasn't there any more. Let me tell you Sanchi and JoAnn put all the missing pieces together and helped us have the best wedding of our lives. The food, service, drinks was FANTASTIC!!!! They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. All my guests are still raving about our amazing wedding and how great and welcome they felt at The Water's Edge at Giovanni's. My vow renewal ceremony was amazing. From the easy finding location, to the well maintained venue and the unbelievable staff providing impeccable service. My event planner Michele went well beyond the call of duty. She was hands on from day one and provided many ideas and thoughts for our ceremony. The presentation of our meals was on point and quite delish. All who attended raved about our evening.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this particular place and what it means to this town. It is run by family and takes to care in making sure all your details are attended to. I have had the privilege of working with Bonnie as my coordinator and Joann and Sal, in conjunction with the entire staff. The food is amazing, the service is stellar, and the flow is sure to be amazing. If you're thinking about it, don't think twice! Oh and make sure you say hi to Giovanni him self. You can not beat the food, service, attention, or accommodations than here. our guests are still talking about it 3 months later. everything was amazing and Bonnie goes above and beyond to make sure you will have your dream come true wedding.

My husband and I just had our wedding at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's on 9/9/17 and I can't say anything more than what a wonderful experience. From the very beginning Michelle (the coordinator) received me with opened arms and friendly vibes trying to accommodate me in everything I wanted for the wedding and for my envision to come true. Michelle is wonderful and has such great personality, you'll love her. The wedding day came and everything was exceptional. The organization, the presentation of food stations, the staff, everything was well prepared and coordinated!!! I didn't have to worry about a thing; they made me feel very special. After the wedding, all of my guests couldn't stopped talking about how amazing the food was and that the staff were incredible polite and willing to help with anything they needed. I have only good memories from that day which will remain with me forever. Thank you Waters Edge at Giovanni's and the wonderful Michelle Esposito for all the months of preparation and the patience you all had with me. You all made our big day an unforgettable one. I will recommend this venue to all my friends and family. You're the best!!

Had the best wedding!!! It was a night of no stress and the whole process with all involved from Giovanni's was a pleasure and a great experience... Michelle was our coordinator and I truly recommend her to anyone!!! - Definately go and see Michelle as other venues did not compare after meeting her and those at Water's Edge at Giovanni's and the wedding was to match...

About four months before my wedding, every bride's nightmare happened: my original wedding venue nearly burned down, rendering them completely out of commission for months and me without a reception venue. That was when we were contacted by Bonnie at Giovanni's. She could not have been more helpful, more understanding, or more enthusiastic about our vision for our reception and truly went above and beyond to help us feel completely comfortable with the new arrangements. She did her complete best to not only meet the standards of our previous venue, but exceed them. And she DID! Her attention to detail is impeccable and her warm personality truly made us feel at ease during what could have been a very stressful re-planning process. The food at this venue is some of the best I've had in my entire life. Giovanni's has quite the reputation in our area and they lived up to it! The room was beautiful, the staff super helpful and attentive, and the food fantastic. I couldn't recommend them enough!

I had my wedding there November 26th, 2016 - it was the best day of my life and I have to thank Bonnie Littlefield and the staff at Giovanni's for this. Bonnie , the planner, helped me from my first meeting with her in the spring all the way to the actual day. Not only does Bonnie know exactly what she is doing, she made me feel like my wedding was the only event she was working on and I was the most important bride in the world. Any question I had I immediately emailed Bonnie and she quickly responded. Bonnie really does care about her couples and wants the day to be special and magical. During the reception Bonnie was there the entire time making sure everything went smoothly. I cannot say enough kind words about how grateful I am that she was part of my wedding! As for the food, well let's just say all of my guests are still asking me for their sweet potato recipe. All the dishes were delicious and every guest -even if it was a special order (gluten and dairy free), said their food was outstanding! I really did have an amazing day and again I cannot thank Bonnie and the staff at Giovanni's enough for helping me plan and execute that spectacular day.

My husband and I just got married at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's at the end of October. From the very second we walked into Giovanni's we knew this was going to be the venue were going to get married in. We met with Jessica who sat right down with us, showed us the rooms, walked us through the entire place and put us right at ease. She was so incredible to work with. She was very calm but professional and knew exactly what she was doing. All my emails, questions, and concerns were always answered right away. We also had the chance to work with Bonnie on the actual big day. She was wonderful to work with, she jumped right in and was by my side from the second I walked out of the party bus into the bridal suite. She even cooled me down with a wet hand towel! Every single guest told us that the food they had was the best food they ever had at a wedding. From cocktail hour, to the reception- everything was incredible. Being gluten free was no issue for them! All the cocktail hour apps were made gluten free for me, as well as my filet for dinner. The staff go above and beyond to make all their guest have an amazing night. My parents went back the next morning to pick up everything we had left there to find Bonnie had already put everything to the side for us, all organized, which made it extremely easy for my parents. I can go on and on about Giovanni's and their staff. I would highly recommend this venue to every single person I know who is engaged and looking their special place to get married. They do an exceptional job.

There are not enough positive words nor enough stars to describe the unbelievable experience we had at Giovanni's on our wedding day on October 1, 2016. The venue is beautiful, food was delicious, and the staff was awesome! All I can say is Bonnie is your all star woman!! She is absolutely the best and pays attention to every detail and always reminded me that it was our day to enjoy and not to worry about a thing that night. The night of our wedding, when the bridal party got back to Giovanni's before cocktail hour, we had our own bridal suite which was spacious and had appetizers waiting for us as well as our speciality drinks! :) The staff was there every time I turned around and they didn't miss a beat. I can't thank Joann enough for keeping everyone on schedule from the bridal party entrances, dances, cutting of the cake, and most importantly bustling of my dress. My husband and I are so beyond thankful and happy that we chose Giovanni's because we had best night of our life. Everyone was truly amazing and the night was flawless. My parents and my husband and I, kept getting calls and/or texts the next day saying it was truly the wedding of the century! I had an amazing experience working with Giovanni's. Bonnie is absolutely amazing. She pays attention to every detail and gives you her undivided attention. The food was delicious! I have been getting so many compliments from my guests on the amount of food and the quality of it. On the day of our wedding Bonnie and her staff made sure that my husband and I were well taken care of. It was an amazing venue and they really do pay attention to all of the details.

My husband John and I were married in May of 2016 and our reception was held at The Water’s Edge at Giovanni’s. From the first meeting John and I had with Sal we had no doubt this was the venue we wanted to celebrate the best day of our lives with family and friends at. Every step from planning the food & alcohol selections to the room décor and layout was so seamless and easy. Sal & JoAnn have a way of making you feel so incredibly comfortable and at ease. At no point did we feel pressured or persuaded to do something we did not want to do. Ever question was answered & Sal had a detailed list of what we would need to have covered from start to finish. As any bride would know, the less you had to worry about & take care of the better! When the wedding was about two months out we went in for our tasting. It was incredible. John and I were of course the only ones there to preview and taste the menu but were presented with full portions of every hors D’oeuvre, salad, pasta and entrée. Giovanni’s truly has an amazing kitchen staff and team of chef’s. Everything we tasted was superb & the wine pairing’s were perfect. When the week finally came for our wedding Sal and JoAnn did a full preview of the space. I was able to bring in everything I needed to make the space my own and they took care of everything beyond that. When the day had finally come and we arrived it was magical. The wedding party had their own private room which was beyond spacious and was accompanied with private servers who catered to all of our needs. We timed out arrival so we could share our cocktail hour with our guests but even so, hors D’oeuvres & cocktails were brought in. One of my favorite touches was they truly pay close attention to detail and had John and My signature drinks waiting. Before John and I, along with our parents went up to see the ballroom complete, JoAnn was helping my sister and mom bustle my dress without a word being said. I couldn’t even try describing how helpful and caring she is. The room was spectacular. Every little detail we had discussed was brought to life. The wedding entrances, speeches, Father & mother dances were timed perfectly. 90% of the night was spent on the dance floor. The atmosphere was electric. Every time we turned around someone was there to ask us if we needed anything (and that is said for our guests as well). I never once saw a dirty or empty glass/plate at our table. Our parents & John and I received so many calls/texts from our guests the next day. They were blown away with the service and food. I was asked by friends after we arrived back from our honeymoon if I would do anything different and I can honestly say no. Planning a wedding is one of the most exciting things you will ever get to do but also one of the most stressful. Beyond the ceremony the reception is what you look most forward to and I can say this reception was everything I ever wanted. Forget 5 star ratings... it is like 10 stars and two thumbs up!! Our Wedding was on October 16, 2015 at this venue Two of the reasons for picking this venue was: 1) The food is amazing. My husband is a foodie and he wouldn't be satisfied with just "ok" food for our wedding; 2) The employees at the venue are easy going, supportive and attentive. Giovanni and Sal are always there with a smile on their faces and asking how things are going whenever we have been at the restaurant. Our package consisted of a 1 hour cocktail hour plus 4 hours of wedding reception time including a champagne toast and top-shelf bar. Our wedding dinner included an appetizer, salad, 3 options for entree, and a cake from 3 possible vendors. Cocktail hour consisted of several cold and warm dishes that were passed around, plus a buffet of warm dishes plus an Italian foods table. Keep in mind, there are so many food options at this venue! The reception was in the Majestic Room (upstairs room). We had an intimate group of 50 of our closest friends and family in attendance which worked well for this room. Bonnie, our wedding planner, was a god-send for talking me through the wedding reception plans and decorations and basically making sure my vision for the reception was executed. She accommodated multiple visits to the venue and multiple calls from me. On the day of the wedding, Bonnie had to deal not only with the venue preparation PLUS my decorations, she managed multiple outside vendors for flowers, wedding cake, groom's cake, photographer, the DJ and the guitarist. At the reception, she always made sure that both my husband and I were taken care. She even special ordered my favorite soda! My husband and I love her! Our Wedding Experience...I remember going into our reception room and having the feeling of warmth and love. It was like a Valentine's Day feeling for our wedding. I have to say that I don't think we could have pulled this dream wedding off without the help of Bonnie (and also my mom and sister). The food is amazing (yes, I said it again)! We had been told by our guests multiple times that they were already stuffed at the end of the cocktail hour and everyone was amazed by the dinner (even to the point that one of my husband's uncles went down to the chef to personally thank him for the amazing food presentation). The wait staff ran around ensuring everyone received food including finding my husband and I so that we were always eating at the cocktail. And now...My family and I have been back multiple times (birthdays, Easter dinner, etc). On our 6th month anniversary we did a re-tasting of all of our appetizers! Pick this venue if you want amazing restaurant experience for your wedding day with plenty of quality food!!

The venue was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious and all of the staff were friendly and attentive. Bonnie and the whole team did an amazing job making our wedding the perfect night- we can’t say more than wonderful things! Our family and friends are still talking about how fabulous our wedding was!

When me and my husband first went to the Waters Edge we immediately knew that this was the place we were going to have our wedding! Bonnie and Sal worked with us for the next two years while we planned the most amazing night ever! All of our guests said that this was the best wedding they had ever been to. My daughter was married on October 3, 2015 and the reception was at Waters Edge. Words can not express what a Wonderful job they did. Bonnie was amazing, I don't think I have ever met someone who could have a reception run as smoothly as she did,There so lucky to have her. The Food was incredible and there was soooo much of it, the Venetian room was just unbelievable. The waitstaff was friendly and very accommodating, all night we were asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything else. I just can't believe how amazing they made my Daughter and son-in-law feel..........This is an amazing venue if your looking for the best! Thanks again Sue Lamontagne

We had a wonderful experience at the Waters Edge at Giovanni's. The service was professional, the food was excellent and the venue was comfortable and perfectly arranged for the ceremony and party. Operations manager, Sal, made sure that all of our needs were addressed. The unexpected bonus (and true gift to us) was Giovanni's daughter and co-operations manager, JoAnn, who made sure that the event flowed perfectly from start to finish. We would recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event.

The Water's edge at Giovanni's is one of a kind for a wedding reception. From the ease of planning and minimal stress provided by the fabulous Bonnie Littlefield who helped coordinate every detail. There aren't enough positive words in the dictionary to describe working with Bonnie Littlefield and the staff at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's. The venue is beautiful, the staff is genuine, and the food is great! My husband and I were engaged in July 2014 and decided to marry the same year! Obviously, most brides plan their special day for months and even years, but Bonnie did not bat an eye when we inquired about having our evening reception at Giovanni's on Saturday, October 4, plus she helped to coordinate a perfect, unforgettable wedding that did not break the bank! With only 1 month to plan, Bonnie was always available, attentive, and encouraging. We were always greeted with a friendly smile and reassuring patience as our date quickly approached. Bonnie was on board with me providing a lot of my own DIY touches including centerpieces, place card settings, decor, etc. Plus, we were able to bring in our own DJ. Our guests were so impressed with the execution of the reception from the absolutely delicious food, attentive friendly staff, and the ambiance and intimacy of the room (Special Note: We had the stunning top floor Majestic Suite, and although there was another wedding downstairs, we were not at all affected!) I highly recommend The Waters Edge at Giovanni's to any couple, no matter your budget or timing.
