e were a pleasure, always very responsive to our questions and providing explanations in detail. Our wedding was originally scheduled for June 2020, due to the pandemic, we decided to postpone until August 2021; Lindsey and Kate were extremely accommodating in allowing us to "first pick" a rescheduled date and transferring the contract terms, etc. The Waters has a list of preferred vendors which made selecting a caterer and florist easier. When one of the other vendors I reached out to was unresponsive, Lindsey recommended a much better alternative - it took our reception to another level! The Waters is so fortunate to have Lindsey at the helm, she is all you could hope for in an Event Manager. The day itself was lovely and our guests enjoy every aspect of the grounds and building - lawn games, strolls along the lake, fun times at the bar (great drinks, too!), gorgeous views from the balconies and patios, an elegant plated dinner, a beautiful sunset, and dancing until the last. I highly recommend The Waters in every way!

p on the actual wedding day, too. The venue is so beautiful itself that there wasn't much decorating needed as well. I also heard so many compliments from the guests about how beautiful the venue was. If you are looking to get married in the area, I 10/10 recommend The Waters!

rea have so many unique charms, which partially made up for some of the inconveniences we ran into while planning our wedding with them. We felt like every time we contacted them about our wedding, whether via email or phone, they were slow to respond and we weren't sure who we would be talking to. They often didn't know who we were or had to try to touch base with someone else to get us an answer. This was frustrating at times when trying to plan our wedding and needing to figure out answers for the other vendors. It was frustrating to us when we arrived for our scheduled walk through prior to our wedding day to find the front door locked. When we finally got a hold of someone, they had to call someone else in to meet us. When she arrived she was confused why we were at the venue that day even though we had an appointment. For how much we paid for one (partial) day of use, we were surprised how much was not included and how much we felt like we were just money to them. Everything is extra when using this venue - having a ceremony on site, only 5 hours are included in the building rental so you have to pay for additional time, buying alcohol by the barrel in advance, there is an additional cost to use a tv or microphone from the venue, you pay more for caterers if they aren't on the preferred caterer list...We were disappointed by the service we received, especially considering how much we paid for our event. However, the venue was absolutely beautiful (even on a cloudy day!) and everything went smoothly on the wedding day - except for the printed sign they made welcoming guests to our wedding where they spelled our last name wrong. We were not disappointed with our choice in venue, but we were disappointed by how difficult it was to work with the team to plan and finalize all the details for our wedding day.

The only thing I would speak somewhat negatively on is that sometimes it is hard to get through to them if you call/email them due to the fact that they’re always busy. But once you get ahold of them, things are taken care of on the spot!

this was the place! Kim and Lindsey do a phenomenal job crossing t's and dotting i's during the planning process. I planned our whole wedding in 4 months and can say hands down they helped make this process way less stressful. They were clear with the details and easy to contact. The day of went so well and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. Kim did a wonderful job the day of making sure the timeline kept rolling without a hitch! All of our guests raved about the venues character, class and location. If you are on the fence about this venue, say YES! You won't regret it. Picture perfect, fairytale wedding! The Waters will always be one of our favorite places!

started at 5PM. We rented in gold chairs had candles everywhere and got married in front of the fireplace. Insanely classy, elegant and beautiful. Also great patio to take pictures out in front of the lake and the stairs. Absolutely great pricing if your looking for something a little different and want a wedding January-March. The managers were great and answered all my emails within a day. They have a couple different catering options you can choose from we wanted family style and went with lasures. They were great, cheap and all the comfort food you could eat. Also got our cake there too and it cost $40. Great family owned place! Highly recommend giving this place a look, when i walked down the stairs to the ceremony i couldn't stop crying, beautiful!

We heard all night from our guests how amazing and beautiful the venue was. We can't say thank you enough to The Waters for making our wedding amazing!

nt of the staircase and everyone told us what a gorgeous wedding it was. Kim, the manager, is super helpful, and very prompt to respond. I planned my wedding from out of state, and she made everything so easy! I never had any problems getting in touch with her to ask questions. I was also told after the event that one of my guests lost a rather precious ring, and Kim helped search the entire venue (even through the garbage!) until she found it and sent it back a few days later. This place is a bit pricier, but it is well worth the cost! I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else!

beautiful and the wedding coordinator is very good. We didn't have to worry about a thing the whole day. Everyone said it was the most unique and beautiful wedding they had ever been to!

to decorate the hall ourselves and we weren't allowed to decorate the building the night before because another wedding was taking place, therefore our parents had to decorate the venue after the ceremony before people arrived at the reception.

though, the service was horrible! They never returned phone calls and were very hard to work with, but the day was amazing and made it all worth it.
