The Waterview worked very well with all our vendors and with our vision to ensure it was both fun and beautiful.

ar bar throughout. From the moment we got off the bus, staff were waiting with champagne and directed us to the bridal suite to drop off belongings. The bridal party and parents were able to enjoy cocktail hour apps and drinks downstairs while also taking pictures in front of the stunning views. Cocktail hour and dinner food were amazing, our guests are still ranting and raving about it which I feel every bride/groom worries about leading up to the wedding. We also added the Viennese table and French fry exit station, both being big hits! Kat, our coordinator, was so easy to work with, from our cake tasting, dropping off decor to be set up and answering the smallest of questions via email! She made sure our day ran so smoothly. I also want to shoutout one of our bridal attendants Brian who was the absolute sweetest and made sure my husband and I had the best time! All the staff were truly a pleasure, from the booking process, to the front desk and the wait staff. By the time our event ended, everything was packed and ready to go so my husband and I didn't have to worry about any of it. I couldn't recommend The Waterview enough as they had everything we could ever dream of and allowed us to have the most unforgettable day!

thing. While our wedding was one week after the damage from the flood, we had a blast and it honestly made our day that much more memorable. Zuleika made sure the day ran perfectly on time all night long and not a single detail we discussed was missed, even if we only mentioned it once. Angela was fantastic. She predicted what we would need and would have it in her hands as we turned around to ask. She even got down on the floor to assist in bustling my dress when my whole wedding party was struggling to figure it out. Finally, so many guests told us the food was fantastic and was some of the best banquet food they'd had, and we agreed! I highly recommend the Waterview for their service, food, and beautiful venue space.

The bar staff was also very efficient and kind, serving my husband and I right when we got up to the bar, so we never had to wait for a drink. There was only one “hiccup” during the day (we had requested cupcakes but they made a cake instead), but it was a blip that only I knew about/noticed. The coordinator also offered to discuss with management about a possible refund due to the mistake, which was good customer service. I haven’t heard back yet so I am not sure if I will get reimbursed, but the offer was thoughtful anyway.

As the bride, my family was putting a ton of pressure on me for my big day—with seating, who was invited, music, the ceremony, transportation, etc...However, everything came together beautifully on our wedding day and I am just so grateful for all the staff at The Waterview. It was truly the PERFECT day in every way. The location was beautiful, the weather was perfect, the food was excellent, and the staff were all so attentive and kind. erience with The Waterview. Every single question I asked was answered and every single possible issue that could arise during a wedding was planned for and accounted for in our timeline. The day of my wedding, it was expected to rain and naturally I was upset. My EXCEPTIONAL wedding coordinator Zuleika and her team were so patient and waited until 10 minutes before the ceremony to allow me to decide if I wanted the ceremony inside our outside. Luckily, the venue set up for both inside and out for me and we were able to do it outside. Zuleika was beyond accommodating, communicative, friendly, easy-going, and incredibly organized. She replied to my thousands of questions SO fast and was upbeat and positive the day of the wedding, often reassuring me that the rain will hold off and any issue that came up would be handled. And let me tell you, it was. I had some issues arise the morning of and Zuleika and the venue staff handled it immediately. This venue and the team that work there were the best staff I could have ever asked for. They executed the wedding exactly the way I asked, made sure all family, friends, and wedding party members were exactly where they needed to be and I was not even stressed once during the day. Zuleika handled absolutely everything exceptionally, my only job was to relax and get ready. I cannot believe how smoothly the day went, and how easygoing it was for me as the bride. I thought I would be starving, stressed, and running around LOL it was the complete opposite! I was able to eat my meal (food was SO SO SO good), drink at the bar, spend time with my family and friends, and most importantly, enjoy the best night of my life with my husband. I wish I could relive this day over and over because The Waterview made sure it was absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a better experience. Zuleika was the absolute best coordinator I could have ever asked for, and I can not rave enough about her. I am so happy that I chose this venue. I cannot wait to go back and visit it over the years. The happiest memories of my life were made there, and I owe it all the to phenomenal staff .

We had a 2 1/2 year engagement, so the process was less stressful in general, but the Waterview (Joanna and Kat in particular) made it even less stressful. They were there when I needed them with small and big questions. They were supportive, and helped with the entire process of planning. Kat was assigned to be our venue coordinator and when we met with her 6 months before the wedding, we felt so relieved that everything was falling into place especially with her help. Now, THE FOOD.... usually when venues are all inclusive, the food can be hit or miss, but let me tell you - EVERYONE still mentions the food to us! There was SO MUCH of it. Plus our stations that we added (DO THE FRENCH FRY BAR!!) really kept our guests happy and full. Our bridal attendants were amazing - helping me get out of my dress into my second outfit was clutch! Oh and pro tip - if you book early enough, you can go to multiple showcases and sample food! Really helped us on our decisions for cocktail hour. We really could not have asked for a better venue to work with.

Everyone at The Waterview is so kind and helpful. All our guests were raving about the food, the atmosphere, and the outdoor space. I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone!!!

due to the pandemic. Everything had basically been planned already for our 2020 wedding before the need to postpone. We'd experienced the food and cake tastings and all the details were pretty much sorted thanks to April and Colin for being so communicative and accommodating. Making the decision to postpone was so heartbreaking because at the start of the pandemic no one knew what was going on or how long it would take to congregate safely again. April was one of the only people left in the office at that point, and she made it so easy to push our wedding out to the same exact weekend a year later. (We were also super lucky that all of our vendors were also available for the new date.) When The Waterview finally reopened and we were in the all clear to resume planning, we picked right back up with Colin where we'd left off. He was there to answer any questions we had, especially ones regarding the health and safety of our family and friends and The Waterview staff. The Waterview was with us every step of the way. They made everything very clear (payment due dates, how and when to drop off personal items for the wedding, the rehearsal, coordinating vendors, etc.) Our ceremony was in the West Side Garden which was so beautiful. It was important to us to be outdoors, especially near the water, and the pergola, garden, and fountains made it like a dream come true. The cocktail hour and reception in the West Side Ballroom which had huge bay windows brought all the beauty of the outdoors inside. Our guests loved the food and the space. Having looked at wedding venues outside of Connecticut, our eyes really opened to find that there are many venues where EVERYTHING is a la carte. It made things soooo easy to find a space as beautiful as The Waterview where everything is included: tables, chairs, linen, cocktail hour, multi-course dinner (by the way, everyone thought the Asian Short Rib Salad was the main course!...nope, more food was coming!), open bar, wedding cake, bridal suite, wedding coordinator, bridal attendants, and more! They were also there to accommodate dietary restrictions and other personal needs for some of our guests. At the end of the night, they helped us gather our belongings and pack everything up including much leftover food. Colin kept things running on schedule and checked in with my husband and I throughout the event to make sure we were okay. It was a night to remember and the entire experience was more than we could have ever asked for!

e facility is beautiful and kept in excellent condition, and the location and views are perfect! The planning process was very straightforward and everything was very clearly outlined. They are very transparent with their pricing and what is included, and never tried to push or sell us anything additional or had any hidden fees, which I know a lot of places try to do. The wedding package includes SO MUCH food — and the food is phenomenal! Our guests talked so highly of the food — many of them were blown away by how excellent the food was! Kat was our wedding coordinator and I cannot speak more highly of her! She is laid back but professional, knowledgable, and so helpful. She never got tired of me emailing her 100 questions and was able to answer all of them and accommodate a few special requests we had. She is absolutely amazing to work with and made our wedding day perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
