We cannot say enough amazing things about Kelly and the Wayfarer! From the moment we chose her venue, we knew we were in incredible hands. When we toured, we expressed we wanted a low-stress situation and Kelly made sure to help us along the way. As both the venue owner and our day-of coordinator, Kelly went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our wedding day was flawless. From being available for calls to being flexible on signage drop-off to great recommendations for food and more, Kelly was a star.
Her expertise and professionalism were evident from the start. She guided us through the entire process with such ease, handling everything with grace and efficiency. Everything you could need, Kelly has. It’s such a savior for your sanity that she has florals, furniture, a bar, a tent, glassware and more. I knew that by booking her that we didn’t need to book much else.
On the day of the wedding, Kelly was a calming presence, making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes while allowing us to fully enjoy the day without any worries. Every small detail was attended to, and she coordinated all the moving parts seamlessly—her attention to detail is truly unmatched. She checked in with my husband and I to make sure we had what we needed the entire time. She also helped bring in taxis to get people home.
The venue itself was cozy and intimate, and we received endless compliments from our guests. Kelly has created a beautiful and unique space, but what makes it truly special is the personal touch she brings to every event. She treated our wedding as if it were her own, putting so much care and passion into making it perfect.
We are forever grateful for Kelly and her team. Thanks to her, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. If you’re looking for a coordinator and venue owner who will go above and beyond to make your special day unforgettable, look no further than Kelly’s team and Whidbey Island Weddings.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience getting married at Crockett Farm! Kelly, Erica, and the rest of their team were absolutely incredible. They took care of our set up, coordination, rentals, and flowers (including staying in such great communication with us leading up to the wedding) and my husband and I were blown away by how perfect everything was.
We didn’t have to worry about a single thing and just got to enjoy our day knowing that everything was running smoothly. They really think of everything, you can tell that they’ve been doing this a long time and have a great passion for it. We look back on this day with fond memories and such gratitude to their team for making it so perfect for us. We highly recommend this venue and team!
It is hard to sum up how perfect our wedding at The Wayfarer was. We dreamed of a "farm" venue that didn't scream "big red barn" and this was it. Rolling lawn, perfect ceremony location, well appointed getting ready suites, and the dream dinner table under the trees. The progression of our day moved throughout the property and felt both dynamic and intimate.
The perfection of the property aside, Kelly and her team were fantastic to work with. Kelly gets down to business, has EVERY detail covered, and kept the day flowing seamlessly. They offer a full suite of rentals, some of which we used and some that we did not (because I had a very specific vision). Kelly let us bring in our own decor items but we could have easily worked with her to rent everything from glassware and plate ware to doing floral design. I did love that the venue rental fee included seating for the welcome hour, the cocktail hour, the dinner tables and chairs.
I honestly couldn't think of one thing that I would change, we would choose The Wayfarer and Kelly's team over and over again if we had the chance.
The Wayfarer was a magical space for my dream wedding! The venue has an understated elegance that is the perfect backdrop for an incredible event. However, what makes this venue the most special is Kelly, Erica, and their team. Working with them was so easy from beginning to end. In addition to the spectacular space, they also work as your highly skilled wedding coordinators, turning our wedding dreams into reality. The tablescape for our wedding dinner was to die for. The florals were everything I wanted. And we felt so well cared for! They truly took care of everything on our wedding day, making it very easy for us to relax and enjoy the celebration with our family and friends. It was the most special day of my life and I will cherish it forever. Thank you Kelly, Erica, and team!
The Wayfarer is simply magical!
From being surrounded by trees to dancing under the string lights on the dance floor and the gorgeous long table they set, the venue is nothing short of a luxurious and whimsical experience. It felt like an upscale Alice in Wonderland moment. Kelly and her team are outstanding. They help you with everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Unloading your car, filling up your petal cones, organizing all of the welcome drinks, setting up the timeline. My head is stuck in the moments they executed perfectly. THE FLOWERS!!!, Erica is a magician I think. Her floral arrangements at our dinner table, to all the other little floral arrangements around the venue, on our welcome sign and my bouquet were to die for. I can’t tell you how many compliments we received on the venue itself and the flowers. This goes to show this team is beyond outstanding at what they do. They are also great at calming down the bride and groom. They know how it works and how high emotions can run that day. They are more than just a team who creates a gorgeous wedding venue. They’re like your sisters. They are the dream team. Helping with every single detail down to the place settings. Being under a canopy of trees and lights was magical. My husband and I still talk about how we can go back to that night and do it all over again. Kelly’s team is what you need and what you want. We love the Wayfarer.
My husband and I got married at Crockett Farm in July of 2023. We really wanted to have water in the background for our wedding, and Crockett was perfect! We loved the beautiful view, the gorgeous arbor, the barn, and the fact that the venue could hold our large guest count of 200 people. It was the perfect venue for us!! Erica and Kelly were incredible to work with. Erica was very involved in our planning process and was so gracious in answering all of my emails leading up to the wedding. She did an AMAZING job on our flowers too. They were absolutely stunning! Kelly was fantastic with organizing our rehearsal logistics and helping with the ceremony and details throughout our wedding day.
The only complaint we have is that the bathrooms are porta potties, and the toilet in the men's bathroom was full...yes, full. One of our guests let us know that during the reception and it was really embarrassing. Crockett should definitely check on that before weddings in the future.
My son and daughter-in-law just got married this August at Crockett Farm in what can only be described as a perfect wedding celebration – from the ceremony to the impeccable service, from the stunning floral arrangements to the delicious food and warm summer weather. With Kelly and Erica at the leadership helm, we did not have to worry about anything but live in the moment. Thank you so much, Whidbey Island Weddings! You made our time together with family and friends so meaningful – a rarity given that our family lives all over the world. We wouldn't change a thing!
Many thanks to Kelly and Erica for making our special day truly memorable for us and all our friends and family. Crockett Farms exceed our expectations (and we were blessed with perfect Spring sunshine too), and Kelly and her team ran the event with such great care, professionalism, and, most importantly, warmth and cheer. We highly recommend them for anyone looking to get married in one of the Pacific Northwest's most stunning locations.
My husband Chris and I got married at Crockett Farm last July. It was truly our dream wedding. Kelly and Erica were so helpful.. even from the first email I sent them. We got engaged in April, and we hoped to have a wedding in summer.. many thought we were crazy to plan a wedding in so short a time.. but Whidbey Island Weddings made it happen! Some how through just a few inspirational pictures and a couple conversations, the team really picked up on the romantic atmosphere we wanted to create for our wedding. I cannot describe how beautiful our wedding turned out.. even on a rainy July day. (It was so beautiful the rain didn’t bother us in the slightest!)
The team recommended having our first look at Fort Casey.. and we are so glad we did! It’s such a close location to Crockett Farms, and it so beautifully showed off the PNW natural beauty.
I want to also mention that Kelly and Erica helped us with recommending our caterer, bartender, and dj. We loved them all! The food and drinks were amazing.. and the dj Justin did such an awesome job. It was so much fun to see our friends and family really enjoying themselves and having a great time at our wedding.
Besides our beautiful ceremony, the flowers were my favorite part! From my bouquet to how the tables were so beautifully decorated.. everywhere i looked it was so pretty!! The best part of all was that Kelly was so hands on the entire time! There honestly wasn’t anything for me or my husband to worry or stress about. She took care of SO much. I don’t know how she and the team does it.. but she and the team did the most fantastic job.
All this to say, if you have your wedding through whidbey island weddings, you will not regret it.. and you will probably be just like me and look back at pictures wishing you could relive that special day. Ps, Alyssa is the BEST photographer!

My husband and I got married at Crockett Farm in the Summer of 2022 and we can’t say enough wonderful things about Kelly, Erica, and Whidbey Island Weddings! Kelly took so much time early on to walk us through the venue, show us pictures of other weddings at Crockett Farm to get an idea of the space, and patiently answer the mountain of questions we had. We particularly appreciated the list of vendor suggestions Kelly provided after booking the space to help us jump start the rest of our wedding planning. Erica was also amazing – she had such incredible attention to detail, helping us plan our florals and rentals, working with our vendors, learning about our vision for the wedding and providing suggestions on décor, and working as our day-of coordinator (on her birthday no less!). Both Kelly and Erica were easy to get a hold of via email when we had questions throughout wedding planning, made time to schedule multiple phone calls with us, and were very organized on our rehearsal to help our wedding party feel prepared for the big day. We are so grateful to the Whidbey Island Weddings team for helping us to have our dream wedding!
Whidbey Island Weddings was amazing to work with for our wedding. Not only was our venue at Crockett Farm in Coupeville absolutely gorgeous but Erica and Kelly worked so hard to make sure our day was perfect. We toured Crockett farm with Kelly and immediately fell in love with the venue. Kelly was so helpful in answering all of our questions and providing so much guidance during the wedding planning process. Erica also helped make my vision for flowers and table centerpieces come to life and also fit our budget. On the day of the wedding, I didn’t need to worry about a thing. Erica was our day of coordinator and she made sure everything was flawless. She helped guide our bridal party and our guests for every transition of the day. The staff made sure the bride and groom were always taken care of with drinks and food and they cleaned up and broke down everything at the end of the night. As a bride, this was so important to me because I wanted to be sure to fully enjoy the day and not worry about a thing. I cannot thank Whidbey Island weddings and their staff enough for making our day so special and perfect!
The venue is absolutely stunning and we knew we wanted to get married there as soon as we got there for the initial tour. Getting married at the end of May, we weren’t sure what the weather would be like and their back up location was just as beautiful as the outdoor space! Kelly and Erica were absolutely incredible with communication and pumped me up with confidence during the whole planning process. Despite unforeseen hiccups during the wedding (to no fault of them or the venue), they made sure everything went smoothly while simultaneously being invisible throughout the wedding like ninjas! It all ended with a perfect double rainbow and I could not have entrusted my dream wedding to anyone else.
I can’t say enough about the amazing, amazing team at Whidbey Island Weddings! We recently had our wedding and reception at Crockett Farm (one of their venues on Whidbey Island), and it was seriously the easiest, smoothest, and the most stress-free part of all our planning. Kelly, Erica and the Whidbey Island Wedding team did a beautiful job prepping Crockett Farm for the ceremony and wedding reception from coordinating all vendors upon arrival, wrangling bridal party and guests when needed, and handling all aspects of the ceremony and reception from rehearsal, day-of timeline, designing the flowers and bouquets, providing dining rentals, vintage decorations, managing the bar and table service/servers, packing up all gifts and leftovers, and even taking care to send as many flowers as possible home with us (which we put into vases and mason jars all over our house). The Whidbey Island Wedding team was super responsive and open to our questions and ideas throughout the whole planning process. They were always positive and professional, and clearly pros at event planning and coordination! We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out - such a great wedding and reception.
I’m over due to leave my review. Where to begin, Kelly are Erika are the best! They helped make our wedding everything we wanted. The communication was great from start to finish. I never felt overwhelmed with the planning. Kelly was with me every step of the way. Our wedding was everything we wanted & more! I am very thankful for finding the Wayfarer for our venue.
I got married at the Wayfarer in July, and it was such a beautiful and low-stress experience. Through COVID postponement and uncertainty, Kelly and her team were communicative and easy to work with. My vision was elegant garden party vibe, and they absolutely nailed it. Kelly has everything you need for the day, which makes the process super seamless, but she is happy to incorporate your ideas, décor, etc. as well. We had some things brought in from off the island and she was accommodating and helpful in figuring out the logistics. I used Erica for the florals, and they were SO stunning. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful they were, too. It was a lovely evening and our guests really enjoyed the night as well. My only complaint is that it went by too quickly! Wish we could do it all again!
I’ve always dreamed of a garden wedding with a beautiful white barn to getting married in. When we first started looking for venues I found the Wayfarer and knew this was the place. We had a few venues picked out but once we were at the Farm I couldn’t even remember the names of the other venues. I was in awe and it didn’t stop there.
Kelly and Erica have made the most amazing experience possible for couples getting married. Communication was always quick and efficient, they answered all my questions, no matter how big or small. The attention to detail that they provide is above anything we could have expected.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was the most romantic wedding and they made my dreams come true.
We had Erica do our floral arrangements as well and they were stunning. The flowers lasted almost an entire week after the wedding. The bartender being included was great and the fact that they were able to set up and tear down everything without requiring family to have jobs at our wedding. We wanted to make sure everyone at the wedding was a guest and could fully enjoy it.
Our day was absolutely perfect and went by in such a blur! If you are thinking of choosing the Wayfarer Farm for your wedding, trust me you will not regret it at all!
Kelly and her amazing assistant Erica provided the most phenomenal wedding experience for my husband and I. Every step of the wedding planning process was seamless and having so much confidence in their team made it so much less stressful. Kelly was so accommodating, especially during the pandemic. I remember not being able to tour the Wayfarer due to the shutdown but she did an amazingly thorough ipad tour. She was super flexible with us trying to figure out our wedding date with coordination of all the wonderful vendors we wanted to work with. I remember watching Kelly’s ipad tour during the lockdown and getting those excited butterflies seeing the venue and knowing it was a special place. The moment my husband and I drove up to the Wayfarer and stepped outside into the arrival area, I could feel the magic of the Wayfarer - all the beautiful old trees, the diversity of the landscape. As I walked around the beautiful property, I just knew it was the place for us. I loved how organized Kelly was with a full timeline and a whole team to support the wedding and tend to the guests. Kelly has so much experience, expertise, knowledge, and to top it all off, her stunning artistic ability with florals sealed the deal for me!! Working with Erica on my floral vision and making all the decorations come to life was a super fun and easy process. The first time I saw my wedding bouquet, is a moment I will never forget. It was the most perfect, swoon worthy bouquet that was exactly like I dreamed, but even better! The way the flowers turned out the day of, was one of the best parts of the day for me. They provided so much support leading up the wedding… I felt like I had a professional wedding planner and day-of coordinator on top of the most talented florist all wrapped into one! Kelly made sure everything ran seamlessly the day of and she handled all the small last minute things with so much compassion and grace - she never missed a beat. My guests gave me so many compliments during the reception and afterwards about the beauty of the venue, the talent of the owner, the skill and kindness of the staff, and what a good time everyone had. My husband and I only look back on that day with love and magic. It was the perfect day and Kelly truly makes a difference in the lives of the couple’s whom she works with to provide them a perfect wedding that they will treasure forever. Endless gratitude to both Kelly and Erica - the dream team :)
Kelly and Erica were so helpful, kind, and provided a wedding experience better than I ever imagined. The Whidbey Wayfarer was gorgeous and they made our budget work for the venue and all the little decorative touches. All the guests raved about the setting and service. Highly recommend :)
I followed Whidbey Island weddings on Instagram for years before I got engaged. When my husband finally popped the question, they were one of the first venues I reached out to. We had to plan our wedding from afar due to our move to CO and COVID, but Kelly and Erica made it so easy and stress-free to plan. My MIL gave them our vision for the flowers and decor and they executed it perfectly. Plus, I was so grateful to have Erica there day-of to make sure everything went well.
We hired Whidbey Island Weddings to plan our October wedding, and they did an amazing job! We ended up booking Crockett Farm, and Kelly was organized and professional to work without throughout all the planning stages. I worked with Erica on the florals and decor I had in mind, and the end result was gorgeous. They made my wedding day perfect and stress free. Both Kelly and Erica were fantastic to work with, I would highly recommend them and their team to help plan your wedding!
Kelly & Erica and the whole team at Crockett farm are absolutely incredible. My husband and I have not stopped talking about our wedding and how the venue took our inspiration and turned it into more than I ever dreamed of. They make the day go so perfectly and are there for any questions you have.
Leading up to the day they had everything so organized and helped the planning process go that much smoother.
Every transition on our big day was done so effortlessly, and there are no details forgotten on the day. I would HIGHLY recommend Crockett farm or any venue with Whidbey Island Weddings. You will not be disappointed. Also- the flowers were incredible, and they took our dreams and made them a reality- highly recommend having them do the florals, you won’t regret it.
Kelly, Erica, and the entire Whidbey Island Wedding staff are truly incredible. We had to reschedule our 2020 wedding due to covid, and they made the process so easy. We moved our date to 7/23/21 and the day was perfect thanks to Kelly, Erica, and their team. They thought of every detail, anticipated every need, and coordinated the day to perfection. All of our guests talked about how kind and attentive the staff were and how beautiful and unique the venue was. Everything looked incredible, and our guests were truly able to enjoy so many different spaces - from the guest sign in area, the barn for our intimate ceremony, lawn games and adirondack chairs for cocktail hour, our beautiful family style dinner under the trees, and a dance floor and vintage bar. They also did our flowers which ended up being breathtakingly gorgeous. They reused the local blooms and bouquets for different areas during the day, and like I mentioned, they thought of every single detail. I loved being able to use a lot of their vintage decor as well. We literally had no worries on the day of, and I could not have dreamed up a better day. They are a wedding dream team and they truly know what'll make your day perfect and how to execute it! We couldn't have been happier with our wedding.
Having a wedding at the Wayfarer made our wedding-planning process so easy and enjoyable. Kelly, Erica, and their team were excellent at communication, and coordinated everything from the flowers and decor to the entire day-of event. Upon booking, we received a list of vendors and photographers who were local and worked at the Wayfarer before. We were able to choose all of our vendors quickly, feeling confident that they knew the location and the day would run smoothly.
The venue itself is gorgeous, so much natural beauty with very little extra decoration needed to make it feel special. Kelly made my bouquet and designed the florals for our event, which was stunning and all purchased locally. All of our guests commented on the long dinner table, and said that the venue made them feel like we were in our own special spot on the island. The venue came with many decor items available for rental, including tableware, candles, and dessert table decor, which meant that there was very little that we had to supply for our day to come together. All of the staff were kind, accommodating, and energetic, and made us and our guests feel welcome and taken care of.
If you are looking for a stress-free and unique wedding venue, I highly recommend the Wayfarer!
Kelly + Erica are the dream team at Wayfarer and somehow turned every vision we had into reality. They were quick to respond, communicative and flexible throughout our planning, and efficient as all heck when it came to coordinating on the day-of.
This little venue is what fairy tales are made of and if you book your florals with them, you won't be disappointed. Our guests were in awe of the beauty of the space and all of the little details, which we never could have done on our own. The fact we were able to drop decor off during our rehearsal made it possible for us to just show up and enjoy the beauty on our wedding day.
The bundle of venue + coordinator + flowers + rentals can't be beat! I wish we could do it all over again!
Absolutely loved working with Kelly and Erica! The Wayfarer is gorgeous! I originally had booked Crockett Farm, but because of COVID we drastically shrunk our guest list and were recommended to go with Wayfarer. Weather ended up being iffy so we had our ceremony indoor. Kelly and Erica did such an amazing job with the decorations especially with all the last minute changes! Venue is well kept and we were able to take beautiful couple pictures there. I did not have to worry about a thing!
If you are looking for a gorgeous outdoor venue that pays attention to every detail, this is the place friends. My niece was married here and I can attest that it was absolutely magical. Kelly and her crew are a dream to work with. They are so kind, professional, and attentive. The grounds are breathtaking, well kept, and provide so many beautiful areas for kids to play, guests to mingle and pictures to be captured. The gorgeous bridal party bouquets, decorations, chandeliers in trees, table arrangements... I could go on and on y’all. I seriously cannot recommend this venue enough.
We had our mini-wedding at the Wayfarer last month and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Had there not been a global pandemic, we truly wouldn't have had to worry about a thing. Kelly and Erica are detail-oriented, professional, and kind. They were incredibly flexible and understanding with the need for us to significantly downsize our wedding due to Covid-19.
Our ceremony and mini-reception were set up so that guests could social distance and there were precautions in place to keep everyone safe. And, through all of this, they managed to make our wedding feel so, so special and delivered on the vintage aesthetic that had led us to choose them in the first place.
Kelly and her team did our florals as well, and they were absolutely gorgeous!
Our wedding celebration on 6/29/2019 at Crockett Farm in Coupeville, WA was over-the-top sensational. Many of our guests have described it as the social event of the year! Why, you ask? Simple...hire the best and your expectations will be exceeded at every level - seriously!
Without going into detail, with every superlative we could think of, suffice it to say these two lovely women, Kelly and Erica (and their team) created the most beautiful event we could have imagined. Think about managing 200 people through the entire event without a glitch... mind boggling to say the least. Creative energy, enthusiasm and down to earth good people worked magic for us and our guests. We love them both - you will, too!

We booked with Kelly late in 2017 for an August 19th 2018 Wedding at The Wayfarer. Aesthetically, the venue was a dream with a vintage southern charm. Everything was going to plan, we had booked our catering and lodging on the island and were going to do our flowers with one of Kelly’s preferred vendors. When we signed our contract Kelly knew that my fiancé was a Marine, at the time it did not seem to be an issue. Our $1,000 deposit was paid and our invitations were sent out. As per the contract the balance was to be paid in full 90 days prior to the event which would have been May 19th. Unfortunately, going into the first week of May we found out that my fiancé was going to be deployed and we were going to have to cancel our dream wedding, we were totally devastated. We were able to inform Kelly of the situation by May 13th. Initially we did not want a refund. Since we loved the look of the venue and had already scheduled everything else we were hoping that Kelly would let us reschedule for another date. We also explained that since my fiancé was just finishing his service contract this would for sure be his last deployment and would not happen again. Kelly’s reaction to our news on the phone was rather shocking. She was abrupt, rather rude and even sounded angry with us, there was no empathy what so ever. She verbally threw the contract in our face. She was condescending, insinuating we did not understand how a contract worked. At that point my fiancé got on the phone and explained that with almost 20yrs of Marine Corps service behind him did in fact understand how a contract works. At that point she said she would not even rebook us for any reason because we were “unreliable”, WOW! As if having to cancel our dream wedding and send my fiancé into a war zone was not bad enough but to be blatantly called “unreliable” was just crushing. I understand that Kelly has a business to run and cannot be handing out refunds or credits for just any reason but she handled this in the worst possible way. She could have said something to the effect of… “I’m sorry this has happened to you but this is how we have to proceed from a business standpoint” basically anything would have been more professional then how she actually handled it. Later that evening she texted me and did offer to rebook us for the following summer for a NEW $1,500 deposit. Only after us asking, she said she would give us a full refund if the venue date was rebooked and partial refund of our deposit if it wasn’t. As the months went on I never once saw her advertising the open date on her Facebook page even though I saw repeated advertising of other venue dates still available for the summer. In my personal opinion I don’t think she even tried to rebook it. I did not once her from her with updates, only if I contacted her first. As our date came and past we still heard nothing. After I contacted her again to check on the promised partial refund, her initial text said she would not be giving us anything. It was only after reminding her that she already stated she would give us one that we got a response. I let her know that being called “unreliable” due to a military deployment was incredibly hurtful and I would have thought that a business in the Pacific NW would be a little more empathetic towards military. It was almost 4 weeks later we received $200. I wish I would have written this review sooner but I just did not have the emotional energy to confront it.
We chose Crockett Farms for our destination wedding in September and absolutely loved every aspect of the day! Kelly and Erica were wonderful to work with and took the stress off of planning a wedding! Thank you for helping make our big day so wonderful!
Kelly and her team were absolutely incredible! From the moment I met Kelly I knew I was in good hands. Kelly provides everything you could possibly need and more. Erica and Jay were at Greenbank the day of the wedding and were wonderful! They are both so sweet and made everything beautiful. They did my flowers as well and they looked even better than I could have imagined. Kelly recommends such great people and they all made my day so special. You will not regret using Kelly and her team for your wedding.
I got married at Crockett Farm in August 2017 and it was my fairytale wedding! Kelly and her team were incredible- they exceeded all of my expectations! Kelly was professional, friendly, and a joy to work with. The venue looked amazing with the flowers and decorations, and it couldn't be a more perfect location! I cannot recommend Whidbey Island Weddings enough!!
We got married at Crockett Farm Sept 2017, and I can't praise the Kelly and her team at whidbey island weddings enough. They are absolute professionals, and the SWEETEST group of people you'll ever work with. They were so amazing to work with, answered all my (millions of) questions in a timely manner, welcomed my input and gave awesome suggestions when needed. Kelly is an amazing florist as well, and makes gorgeous wedding signs for you!! They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly and went exactly how we wanted. They were such advocates for Jon and I on the wedding day, I'm so grateful for Kelly and Erica for having my back, and turning their already gorgeous venue into the the wedding of our dreams!!! :-)
We got married August of 2017 and everything was exceptionally executed from beginning to end. We met with Kelly around Christmas time the year before and were able to see the venue with naked trees and damp weather, knowing very well that in the summer time the trees will be filled and fruitful as well as all of the great details from their inventory will be displayed.
Within nearly 11 months of planning, I truly don’t think I was stressed, not even once. Really!!! With the help of Kelly and Erica’s coordination , everything was perfectly stress free and very well handled. Having the rehearsal at the Wayfarer was very hands on and actually very fun. And on our wedding day, Kelly and her two helpers were seriously the best. They were professional, polite, and extremely helpful.
I live on Whidbey Island and I also work with Front Street Grill catering . Often times we are catering weddings at the Wayfarer, Crockett Barn , and Jenne Farm. I’ll say you certainly can’t go wrong with any venue from Whidbey Island Weddings. Kelly and Erica are a dynamic duo who live and breathe Weddings , they surely will be as genuinely excited to host your wedding just as you are to have a wedding.
The Crockett Farm was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding on Sunday, September 3. We wanted a location that spotlighted our great Northwest beauty, and it certainly did! There was little need for decorating. The wedding ceremony setting, with the driftwood arch and view of the sea was stunning. The Barn worked well for both the cocktail hour and the dinner. The upstairs dining space was so warm, inviting and comfortable.
Kelly, Erica, and their crew did a magnificent job of fulfilling our specific needs. These included a parade, activities for lots of children, and the wedding aisle being made wide enough for 4 of us to walk down it.
Our friends and family are still raving about the wonderful time we had at the Crockett Farm.
The Wayfarer was the first and only venue we needed to see before booking. Kelly, Erica, Jay and the rest of the crew were a joy to work with from the start. They are wedding pros who know how to make an event run smoothly. And they're adorable and sweet to boot! I highly recommend booking your wedding at one of their three venues.
I was a bit of a hands-off bride--I didn't want to stress over every little detail during the year of planning--so I loved having a coordinator and team who I could trust to make everything look gorgeous. I honestly think they work best when you give them leeway to be creative and colorful.
I asked for peach and berry roses and dahlias and wow, did they nail it. My bouquet was breathtaking. All of the guests said that the flowers really stole the show--I wished they could have lived forever.
Kelly was also there for me when I had a mini wardrobe malfunction before walking down the aisle! We Tide-pen'd the hell out of one part of my dress and I can't thank her enough for stepping in to help keep me calm.
Whidbey Island Weddings offers the whole package with a gorgeous collection of antiques and shabby chic venues. They will ensure you have the perfect day--certainly one of the best days of my life!
[Crockett Farm] They did an amazing joy of setting up and running my special day. Kelly and her team are willing to go above and beyond and ensure it gets done right the first time. My guests thought the venue was beautiful and host wanted to stay an extra night to enjoy the beauty of the island. This was a great venue is a farm wedding is what you are looking for.
As we started our wedding venue search, we stumbled across the Whidbey Island Weddings website and instantly fell in love with The Wayfarer venue upon seeing pictures. We were immediately drawn to the white washed barn for the ceremony (you have the choice between an indoor and outdoor ceremony) and the extra-long dinner table under the trees. We set up an appointment with Kelly to visit the venue, and we are sure glad we did!
My wife and I got married at The Wayfarer on June 24th, 2017, and it was truly a dream come true. We opted to hold the ceremony inside the barn, which was intimate, cozy, and exactly what we envisioned from day one. It happened to be a hot summer day (miraculously given the unpredictable weather), and Kelly’s team provided our guests with fans to keep cool before the ceremony.
Kelly, Erica, and the team created the flower arrangements and did such a beautiful job – our wedding was filled with white and peach/blush colored roses and peonies, and my wife got what she is affectionately calls her “dream bouquet”. The table arrangements were so thoughtfully done and the details around the venue tied everything together. These details gave us the rustic yet elegant vibe we had dreamt of. We extend a big thanks to Erica for capturing our vision perfectly!
The long dinner table we had fallen in love with was nothing short of amazing. Sharing dinner with our closest family and friends was so special, and the table arrangements under the greenery and chandeliers were magical. During the reception, there were a lot of activities available for guests – they enjoyed dancing under the string lights, playing lawn games, toasting s’mores over the fire pit, and ending the night with a sparkler sendoff. Everyone had an amazing time, including us!
Looking back, we truly could not have asked for a more perfect day, in large part thanks to the gorgeous venue, as well as Kelly and her wonderful team. Throughout the wedding planning process, it was our pleasure to work with such a professional and organized team. They coordinated with our vendors (photographer and caterer), listened to our preferences, and were very responsive to all the questions we had (there were a lot!). On our wedding day, Kelly and her team were there each step of the way and ensured that everything ran smoothly. One of the team members (Jay) was incredibly respectful and polite, going above and beyond in his duties to take care of our guests. Our bartender (Carrie) was super fun and engaging.
We are grateful for such a memorable and special day at The Wayfarer, and we highly recommend checking out Whidbey Island Weddings if you’re looking for a beautiful venue space and wonderful team!
We were married at the Wayfarer at the end of July 2017, and we could not have chosen a better venue. We chose the Wayfarer because the farm is simply amazing, and we were looking for a less "DIY" wedding. Kelly and her team know how to host a wedding there and the experience shows. I felt like her team was in control from the moment we got there until the send off. All of our events ran right on schedule, and we didn't have to worry about timing. I have recommended them to everyone! If I got the chance to plan it all over again, I would 100% go with this venue.
Kelly & Erica made all of my dreams come true for our wedding day! The Wayfarer is a beautiful venue alone, but with the endless help of the staff at Whidbey Island Weddings, I was able to have all I ever imagined on my wedding day and more. We hosted a destination wedding here, with most guests traveling 3,000+ miles...and everyone was absolutely blown away by the beauty of this venue. Kelly you are incredible, an absolute dream to work with!
My husband and I got married at Crockett Farm this past weekend, and we had a fantastic experience working with Kelly and her team. Leading up to the wedding, they were super helpful in providing resources on the island for lodging, transportation, etc. After all the work of planning, it felt so good to hand things over to them in the days leading up to the wedding, and they absolutely did not disappoint. Our wedding venue looked incredible - the flowers were exactly what we wanted and were beautiful. During the day, our coordinator was calm and collected, and put us completely at ease. The team did a great job of checking in with us to see what we needed all day long, which we really appreciated. Everything went off without a hitch, and we were really able to be present with our guests and one another. I can't thank Kelly and her team enough! I am so glad we decided to get married at Crockett Farm!
My husband and I got married at Crockett Farm on July 15, 2017. Working with Kelly was a great experience and she and her team made sure everything went smoothly the day of. We didn’t have to worry about a thing (which after all of the work involved in planning a wedding was a huge relief!). Every detail was beautiful, especially all of the flowers (which Kelly and her team did as well). I loved my bouquet and it looks gorgeous in all of our wedding photos. We had two coordinators (Marriah and Sarah) and two bartenders (Cesar and Nick) from Kelly’s team who went above and beyond during the event. They were so service-oriented (our guests commented about how sweet they all were), positive, organized and fun. Kelly also had great recommendations for other vendors on the island for catering, makeup, etc. We are so glad we went with Crockett Farm for the beautiful setting, the high level of professionalism, and the attention to detail that made our big day better than we ever could have imagined. I am so grateful to them for ensuring we could relax, celebrate, and enjoy every moment.
Whidbey Island Weddings coordinated my daughter’s wedding at the Crockett Barn in June, and we were very happy with how everything turned out. The venue is beautiful, and was made even more so with the special touches planned and provided by Kelly and her team. Kelly was very organized and responsive in all the planning, and anxious to meet the sometimes unconventional requests of the wedding couple. By the time the wedding day arrived we were free to just enjoy the occasion. Erica and Marriah and their staff took care of everything the day of the event, and kept us all calm with their relaxed professionalism. They kept things moving, but always checked with us to make sure we were ready for the next thing. They were responsive to all our needs, packed up everything for us at the end, and even started the drying process for the wedding bouquet. I can’t say enough about how beautiful and enjoyable the wedding was. It was just what the bride and groom wanted, and they had such a good time - just as they should.
Our daughter and new son-in-law got married at Crockett Farms on Whidbey Island on May 28, 2017. We cannot say enough good things about this whole experience. From the first day we looked at the venue and our daughter and (then) fiance fell in love with it, to the end of the wedding day, we were impressed by the beauty and peacefulness of the venue and the professionalism and kindness of Kelly (the venue coordinator).
We were fortunate to have had a beautiful weather day, but we were confident that an indoor alternative was available, if needed. That gave us a chance to relax and enjoy the planning phase. As the planning went along, I emailed and texted Kelly a number of times with questions and she answered immediately. She never made me feel that I was inconveniencing her even though it was often on a weekend that I contacted her. Her assistant Erica was, also, very responsive via email.
Kelly and Erica did a wonderful job orchestrating the rehearsal the afternoon before the wedding. On the wedding day, I was confident that all was going to be taken care of so I was able to spend the day with my daughter and her attendants and my husband was able to relax a bit (as much as a father can at his only daughters’ wedding) and enjoy the pictures the photographer took of him seeing his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress instead of worrying about details.
We loved being able to stay on the venue at the historic Crockett House with our immediate family the weekend of the wedding. It was a great place for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready, also.
Kelly and Erica took care of all the flowers, also, from the bridal bouquet down to the boutonnieres. Kelly talked to our daughter in the months before the wedding and made sure the flowers were what our daughter requested and they were beautiful and bountiful! Flowers were everywhere! On the dinner tables, at the entrance to the venue, and everywhere you looked! We brought flowers to decorate the arbor but not everyone wants the beautiful driftwood arbor decorated so that was our preference.
We have heard nothing but rave reviews from our family and guests about the wedding and how much fun everyone had and the beauty of the venue. But, most importantly, the wedding was everything that our daughter and son-in-law dreamt it would be. We can’t thank Kelly and crew enough for a wonderful day!!
We were married on September 24th, 2016 at Crockett Farm, one of three venues run by Whidbey Island Weddings. Kelly, Erica, and the whole team were INCREDIBLE. Our entire day felt truly magical. We could not have asked for, nor dreamed of, a better experience. The flower design was gorgeous, the table arrangements were beautiful, and our ceremony space at the driftwood altar on site was absolutely stunning. Every element was perfectly coordinated, and I was able to spend a stress-free morning with my bridesmaids, enjoying the beautiful fall day at the historic Crockett Bed & Breakfast (another perk, just a stone's throw from the venue). Truly, we had the experience of a lifetime. And Kelly and Erica are so nice! Even when I felt like I was being an intolerable diva bride, they assured me that it was okay to be picky and tried to accommodate every request leading up to the wedding. Such a class act--I was so impressed by the service, the attention to detail, and their ability to cultivate an aesthetic that perfectly matched my vision for the day. If I could give them more stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. Whidbey Island Weddings will take care of you--if you are looking to get married on Whidbey, look no further. We felt our wedding was the lovely, romantic, elegant event we'd been planning, all thanks to the hard work from the team at Whidbey Island Weddings. So much love.
We had our wedding this weekend at the Crockett Barn in Coupeville (Run by Kelly who hosts weddings in 3 venues- the Wayfarer, Crockett Barn and Jenne Farm) and everything went smoothly and was orchestrated perfectly! Our coordinator, Kelly, and her staff did a fantastic job from the first day we met to see the venue! They were on top of it!!! Helpful, proactive and totally thorough! It made planning/hosting our wedding a total breeze! I can't say thank you enough for our beautiful day! We and our guests had a freaking BLAST! And it was absolutely stunning!!! Totally worth it!!!
We just had our wedding at The Wayfarer and it was truly my fairy tale dream wedding come true. I found the venue on Instagram and immediately fell madly in love with the long table. I figured it was some really out-of-my-reach venue that was booked 3 years in advance, but I was thrilled with the location on Whidbey Island and the availability for me to pick from. We got the last available Saturday of the year, and there were some Friday and Sunday dates open, too.
The overall vibe of the venue is exactly what I wanted, but Kelly was able to take the look and feel, decor and amenities to the next level. Her eye for design, her taste, and her inventory of to-die-for accessories really make everything top notch. She pays attention to every possible detail, and the guests kept commenting on how it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to.
Kelly is so organized and her venue team make the event run so seamlessly. She's so generous with her time during the planning process, and I am blown away at her floral skills. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, so I gave her some loose guidance and she created the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets I have ever seen.
At first I was worried that the venue was more expensive than others, but I realized in the end it's actually not. So much is included in the rental, and Kelly and her team enabled me to be the most relaxed bride possible - both during the planning process and on the day of. I was able to fully relax and enjoy the day without worrying about any detail.
This is the most beautiful and unique venue, and I absolutely hands down recommend you snap it up and book it. You won't regret it! Thank you, Kelly and team! You made our dreams come true!
After several weeks of outreach, the owner and coordinator Kelly finally got back to us to schedule a tour of the venue. We absolutely fell in love with the space; however, asked if there were some special touches we could make to the venue to help personalize it - rent a couch and potentially put candlesticks on the table. She was wishy washy and then said no definitively, with no real explanation. We said those things weren't deal breakers, but we did want to get a feeling of flexibility. Then, she said she'd consider the date we were proposing, but that it was late for her season. We liked the venue enough to be flexible, which we communicated back to her. When we were ready to leave, she let us know she'd follow up with some pictures and a cost breakdown, which never happened. We followed up twice more to get clarity around the flexibilities of the site - questions anyone should ask when exploring venues - and never received the estimate list nor the photos. Instead, she shot back an email saying that they were not going to schedule a wedding during the month we proposed - even though she had already confirmed there were weddings scheduled - and that she wished us all the best. We followed up via phone and email to figure out where the disconnect happened, mentioning again in our messages that we'd be flexible on dates. She never returned any of our messages. We were devastated and incredibly offended. While the venue is beautiful, keep in mind that she is incredibly uptight and unwilling to be flexible. We had read reviews about her being difficult, but had hoped for the best. However, her absolute unprofessionalism was off putting and at times, disrespectful. I would not recommend this venue to anyone I know.
After literally years of looking for the right venue, we were about to elope when I spent one last weekend scouring the Internet for the perfect place to have our wedding - that's when I found the Wayfarer! I'm so happy I found it because it really was the perfect venue on every level!
The farm is a gorgeous setting and there are so many different beautiful areas for your guests to enjoy. We got married in the whitewashed barn, which was beautiful and intimate. The lawn games and the fire pits with s'mores were a big hit. And it was truly magical to have all of our loved ones dine at one long beautiful table under a canopy of trees by candlelight. Every one of our guests was able to relax and enjoy the venue throughout the entire day and into the night!
Kelly is great - she is an experienced professional and has amazing recommendations for great Whidbey vendors and for how weddings work best at her farm. She will provide suggestions that are so helpful for every aspect of planning, including vendor selection, the "day of" timeline, bartenders, etc. She is also truly prepared for every scenario and is incredibly detail oriented, which is key for planning any big event. The morning of the wedding was cold and rainy and I was so anxious that my guests would be frozen and uncomfortable, but Kelly and Erica were prepared - they had heaters, blankets, hot cocoa and hot apple cider (which people LOVED)!
Also, Kelly has impeccable taste and has carefully curated the perfect mix of vintage furniture, props, decor, vases, tableware, etc. for you to create a beautiful and customized backdrop for your special day. My guests kept saying they felt like they were on a movie set because everything was so perfect and beautiful.
As a long-distance bride, Kelly was great to work with - she was available for calls and and very generous with her time. I had a very specific vision for my flowers and decor and Kelly and Erica executed my vision perfectly!! The farm was an even more beautiful version of what I had imagined. And the flowers were AMAZING! When Kelly handed me my bouquet, it literally took my breath away - it was an even more perfect and beautiful version of what I wanted. I am holding it in every picture because I would NOT put it down :). The Wayfarer team also created a perfect flower crown for me and a stunning tablescape of perfect dahlias.
The ladies at the Wayfarer created the most gorgeous backdrop for us to have the celebration of a lifetime. It was all so special-thank you for being fabulous hosts!
The Wayfarer Farm is one of the most magical wedding venues out there. The attention to detail and decorations available make this place so unique and beautiful. Kelly and her staff are amazing at what they do! They tailor the decor to fit your theme and color scheme. There were many personal touches and surprises on the actual wedding day as well.
The words my guests used to describe my wedding day and the venue were as follows: magical, fairytale, secret garden, tea party, gorgeous, breath-taking, etc. I have to give credit to the amazing professionalism of the staff and the natural beauty of the Wayfarer Farm for that!
The Wayfarer Farm package includes all day use of the venue, chairs, details and decorations, and the staff acts as day-of coordinators. There are lawn games, a record player, a built-in bar area, a guest sign-in area with props, and sooo many photo opportunities around the farm. My favorite part was the long farm table that sat under a canopy of trees with chandeliers hanging above. There is so much that is included to take the stress off of the bride and groom having to plan every single detail. I love the vintage, romantic, and rustic feel of the props, barn, and property.
It is truly a beautiful venue and well-worth the price, in my opinion. My husband and I both agreed that we wished we could do it all over again as guests at this place!
Our wedding was the best day of my life, cliche statement or not. It couldn't have been that without the love of my life or the Wayfarer, Kelly and her crew. This venue is a stellar outdoor venue and non-functioning farm, alpacas and all. Shadowed in hazelnut, cherry and poplar trees, the yard spans with a selection of yard games and two barns for an indoor ceremony site and the other for the bar. A singular long table under the trees is the recommended set up for dining and I wouldn't recommend otherwise. They allow you to bring in your own vendors otherwise and are extremely accommodating, flexible and excited for you. Decor is part of the package, vintage and classic with as much or as little as you'd like, including a renovated Airstream for a photobooth. Kelly is the real deal, she will make your day run flawlessly and not a whisper of worry will part your lips. I loved the Wayfarer and would recommend it to anyone!
