The Wedding Click - Photo + Video

The search for the right photographer was a daunting one, but I'm SO thankful I came across Trevor and The Wedding Click during my search for a photographer. I knew from the first initial meeting that Trevor was a great match for us- his friendly and calming personality made us feel at ease throughout the whole process from our consultation to our wedding day. We got along with him so well, and I can truly say we enjoyed all of our sessions with him. Trevor has a true understanding of professional photography and is clearly knowledgeable when it comes to lighting, angles, and everything needed to get the perfect quality pictures. The different package options were also exactly what we were looking for. From engagement pictures, to bridals, to his presence the entirety of our wedding day, Trevor was everything we could've asked for and more!

Trevor Mercer and The Wedding Click did the most outstanding job photographing our special day. He was so easy to work with from the very beginning, and we were beyond impressed with the outcome of our photographs. Andrea truly has an art for what she does. She knows the right lighting, angles, hand placements, etc. She didn't waste any time trying to figure out what shots to get. I am so in awe of her talent!

Andrea does AMAZING work and is so flexible. She is observant and knows what she is doing. Bradley the second shooter was also soo fun to work with and we are so thankful we had two shooters to capture our day. I was able to express my style and what I like in photos and she knocked it out of the park with our wedding photos. She had no time limit which is hard to find in the photography business. My husband and I really enjoyed working with her and would recommend her to anyone in search of a photographer.

I cannot recommend them enough!! Matt was an absolute dream to work with. From engagements, to bridals, to the big day!! He not only was the best photographer, but he became my go-to for everything. He helped out with so much! He took charge and really was able to tell me what photos we needed, what looked good, etc. He also gets so excited FOR you and hypes you up! He got every shot I wanted, plus so many candid photos that just made me smile ear to ear! It really felt like he cared so much for us as a couple!!! I cannot even express how pleased we are with Matt Wheeler!!

Trevor and the Wedding Click Team were absolutely amazing!!!! I wanted a photographer and videographer team that has worked together and I’m so glad to have found Trevor and the guys! They vibed so well together. My favorite part was watching them dance as they were shooting! It was great to see such a wonderful team have a good time while they were “working”. It goes to show that they love what they do! Trevor also made my bridal portraits so special by capturing the most precious moments with my niece, Peyton. I’m forever grateful for all the most amazing moments he was able to capture from my bridal portraits to our wedding. We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures and the video!

Shelby was such an important part of my wedding journey! She is such a down to earth, fun person who makes you feel comfortable doing silly poses that turn into gorgeous photos. She has an eye for what will make a beautiful back drop. For someone like me who didn't have any set "photo list" that I wanted Shelby was able to whiz us through different locations so we have a huge variety of both formal and informal pictures to choose from. Shelby worked with us from our engagement shoot so we were able to get comfortable with her instructions (lots of Eskimo kisses!). The wedding day itself was a dream; she captured everything and people commented on what a lovely person she is. My dog Riggs loved her as well! 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a wedding photographer; Shelby is the best!

Shelby with The Wedding Click is amazing!! Shelby is so welcoming and makes you feel so comfortable when you are taking pictures. Shelby did our engagement shoot, my bridal portraits and our wedding day and she always was so kind and helpful everytime. She lets you know ahead of time what items to bring so she can get those great detail shots. Photos are one of the most important items from your wedding because that is what you have to look back on for forever and Shelby is the one to give you those everlasting shots. I cannot say enough great things about Shelby!!

As our second anniversary passes and we watch our video again to celebrate, I am saddened at the same time. Don’t get me wrong - Trevor's team created a beautiful video and we are so grateful to have had a video team on site. However, I am not sure that it was the right team as I will forever feel like Trevor stole some of our money and didn't provide everything we paid for. The worst part of it to me is that my husband's reaction to seeing me walk down the aisle was not captured. As I entered the room, my first reaction was to look at everyone standing up, and then at my husband far down the aisle. I missed his initial reaction and I will never, ever, EVER get to see that now. Having video of my husband's reaction was listed as one of the most important things to capture on our questionnaire. How was it missed? Trevor explained that the camera that was on my husband was blocked by the crowd standing and the other camera operator didn't know that the shot was compromised. As wedding professionals, were you not aware that a crowd stands when the bride enters? How were you not adequately prepared for that? He thinks there may have been rules in place that prevented a better shot, but our photographers were able to get a few shots. In addition, we requested the extended wedding cut: "We take all of the footage of the entire day and edit it into a presentation ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. We include as much of the ceremony, dances, speeches, etc. as possible!" Despite paying an additional $500 for this, ours unfortunately did not include our dances. In order to try to rectify the situation with missing my husband's reaction, Trevor kindly provided all of the uncut footage. Now we get to watch our first dance in four different segments, with a small part of it missing. Trevor was very professional throughout. Even after a couple of thumb drives never made it to us, he sent another set right away. For what it's worth, we're glad that we got the video and are overall very happy with it. His team was timely and easy to work with on wedding day. There are two major things missing though, one of which makes me lose sleep even two years later and unfortunately probably for the rest of my life. I am heartbroken every time someone says to me, "Remember his reaction?" or "His reaction was a sight to see, wasn't it?" or I try to imagine it. Thank you to Trevor and his team for all of their hard work. After another night of tossing and turning, I just had to share my story.

Andrea was such an amazing photographer! She helped us every step of the way with the engagement shoot, bridal portraits and day of photography. She worked with us through all of the changes we had to make and produced amazing photos that we will cherish forever!

Shelby just delivered our album today and I cannot say enough great things about her. Every picture is unbelievable. She was the hardest working photographer I have ever seen. All day she was a trooper, even in the rain. She stayed the entire night to make sure she captured every moment. We are forever grateful we picked Shelby as our wedding photographer!!

We haven’t even got all our photos back yet but can I just say, we LOVED Melissa! From the moment we booked her she got to know myself my fiancé & our daughter through social media. This made everything super personal and I felt comfortable with her. My 22 month wasn’t feeling the best on our day and she somehow got her to smile and even giggle (thank you!). Melissa was so nice, fun and accommodating to any photos we needed/ wanted. She has sent us photos quickly as she works on them which is AMAZING because I didn’t have time to capture any myself. I am SO happy we decided to use the Wedding Click and so happy we got Melissa. I can’t say enough great things about her. THANK YOU!!!

We hired Shelby at the Wedding Click and she was AMAZING to work with! I knew from our first conversation how comfortable I felt with her that we would love her as our photographer. When our original wedding was cancelled due to Covid, Shelby worked with us through so many decisions (elopements, delaying until Fall 2020, etc) and wasn't annoyed at all! Not only did she travel hours to come do our engagement photos but also for our wedding and went through so many different wedding scenarios with us that I'm sure we would have drove anyone crazy, but not Shelby! She is seriously the best and made the whole process feel so comfortable and easy! We will always look back at our wedding with these beautiful images and think of her :).

We are so happy that we made the decision to hire The Wedding Click for our wedding. Melissa was our main photographer and Matt was the second shooter for our big day. I found The Wedding Click at the bridal show in Columbia. After exploring the website, I loved Shelby’s portfolio and she was available for our date! We had a phone interview and I knew then that working with her was going to be amazing. We had our engagement photos done with her as well as our wedding photos. She is so much fun! She has great ideas, she knows all the best angles, and she knows how to explain what she wants. We were nervous about the engagement shoot because we thought we would be uncomfortable. She made us feel like naturals. On the wedding day, I loved that she was there all day. I hired a second photographer and I’m so glad I did. He was amazing as well and I loved the different perspective he provided. They were both very observant to what was going on. She made sure to ask me what my must have photos were and captured some I didn’t even know I wanted. Her work is phenomenal and her photos look fantastic. She works fast too! Three days after the wedding we had previews! Aside from photos, her personality is the best. She’s bubbly and fun. She helped me with things for the wedding that weren’t even photography related. All this to say that I will forever recommend Shelby for capturing the special moments in your life.

I don’t even know where to begin. Trevor and the video team (John and Clayton) were phenomenal. Amazing quality, professional and to the point. But the best part? They kept me laughing the whole time. We didn’t have a wedding party so it really helped to have these three guys around me before the ceremony. Shelby A Stewart with The Wedding Click were beyond our expectations for our wedding photography & videography! Shelby made us feel comfortable at our initial engagement photo sessions and even worked with our two dogs! During the wedding day, they were by our sides the entire time as their team worked with myself and the groom. They found the best shots for our indoor ceremony and outdoor reception at sunset! They worked great with our requests and the guests! Shelby was in continual contact with me throughout the entire wedding preparation process and during the event. She worked great with our planner and the other vendors to ensure the best detailed shots so we could remember the whirlwind day! Loved them! My photographer was Andrea Fabian and she was great! Super sweet and very good and helping us feel at ease during the whole process. I had a very dimly lit wedding venue and her pictures came out great!

Andrea was phenomenal to work with. We loved our engagement photos, and our actual wedding could not have gone more smoothly. She captured exactly the shots we wanted and then some. She was fantastic at coaching us for posed formal photos, but still keeping everyone relaxed and smiling.

I met Trevor after stumbling across his photography page by googling "Best wedding photographers in South Carolina". His page was one of the first ones I came across. It was Trevor Mercer Photography at the time. I loved how he made the lighting on his photos. A month later, I notice his prices changed so I made sure to ask if he would still honor the price we discussed and he said he would. So I go to his studio or whatever you want to call it, and after a brief discussion of what I would like and the photos I wanted to be taken in specific we decided that I wanted to use two of his back up photographers to accommodate my finances with the wedding. He asked if I needed bridal or engagement photos and i told to him that my soon to be sister in law is a photographer and she would take those, but since she is in the wedding she cannot take our wedding photos. I'm not sure if this is where I went wrong with him. Or if it was the fact I asked if it was the price I asked if he could honor before it changed. But after that it was kind of hard to get in touch with him. I felt as if I bothered him whenever I asked a question from there after. Well the big day gets here, and I have two photographers at the venue. They split up and take photos of the wedding party. Afterwards, I notice one of them is not taking photos. He is carrying around a flash for the other one. That had me pretty ticked. I paid for 2 people to take photos not one and the other carry around crap for the other. Other than that everything was fine. Trevor told me that it would take 1 month to get the photos and I was fine with that. Almost 2 months roll around and I have no photos. I watch on facebook as he post other peoples weddings that were on the same day or after mine. And it really bothered me more than anything that he could throw me on the backburner. It was like my wedding didnt matter. I didnt get a blog post. I didnt get so much as a facebook post with teasers like everyone else. And to this day, not a single one of my photos are showcased on his facebook page. When I asked him about my pictures the only reply back was that he would sent a link for some free prints and that they were not ready. I NEVER GOT A LINK TO ANYTHING BY THE WAY. To make matters worse my husbands grandmother was on her death bed, and I kindly asked him if we could at least get the photos that he had of her in them. My wedding was in September, and now we were in November. He did send me the photos after I practically had to beg for them, and you could tell that he rushed them and they didnt look anything like the ones he would normally post on facebook or his website. When I recieved the photos I noticed that a lot of the pics we took that I really wanted were not in the portfolio. And not only that, I had no pictures of my husband with his parents or sisters. Not a single one of them posing together. Only thing close was a picture of his mother and him dancing. Trevor told me that I would receive every photo that was taken and I was missing a lot of photos that I knew we took. I am still incredibly ticked about that. To this day when I talk about the wedding I always say that if I could change anything I would change my cake and I would have never used Trevor Mercer Photography now known as "The Wedding Click"

We had Shelby Stewart who is a part of the wedding click and she was absolutely amazing! Went above and beyond for our wedding! Without her I don’t think we would of had the beach wedding we wanted. Her personality is so uplifting and she honestly gets just as excited as you do!

Shelby shot our wedding, and there aren't enough words in the world to explain how amazing she is! She fit right in with our wedding party and did the work of 2 photographers. She got every angle, she was buzzing around like crazy and the photos show just how talented she is. We will cherish our photos forever!

Andrea was absolutely fabulous photographing our wedding day! She made us incredibly comfortable in front of the camera for posed shots and captured candids perfectly! She told me beforehand that if there were specific moments I wanted pictures of, just to let her know and she listened to all my requests. She also knew all the moments I would want pictures of even without me telling her! We got a "sneak peek" of the day the Tuesday after the wedding and we can't wait to see the rest! It is evident she really cares about her work and wants to see a happy customer but she also just loves to take pictures! She was such a great asset to our day!

I am lucky enough to have the best photographers and videographers in South Carolina make my wedding memorable Andrea will be our photographer for our wedding- her and Trevor sat down with me to get to know me and to ask what I want for my wedding- also gave me so many suggestions to see what my style is so they can make my day memorable forever just the way I can imagine. We engaged Andrea Fabian of Trevor Mercer photography to shoot our engagement and wedding photos. She has been very patient, informative and insightful during our process. Our wedding is not until May 2018, but we had our engagement shoot August 2017. Andrea did an outstanding job. My groom is camera shy and she was able to make him feel relaxed and enjoy the shoot. We were threatened by rain, but Andrea took charge and was able to complete our shoot before a total rain-out. Even with this threat, she was able to capture the perfect light to make us great. We can't wait to see what magic Andrea can produce in May and are so looking forward to working with her and the entire Trevor Mercer Team.
