Our first visit, I provided several pictures of what I thought I was looking for and was very happy that a few others were mixed into the bunch pulled for me to try because I ended up falling in love with a gown that looked nothing like what I had expected. We were treated so well, the entire staff was so professional and accommodating. It was very easy to make appointments and have fittings done. We also picked out our bridesmaid dresses here and they were VERY helpful. My sister had to call and request a larger size, as she got pregnant and would be 8 months along by the time of the wedding! Additionally, I needed to change our bridesmaid dress style to accommodate a bridesmaid who'd recently had a surgery and wanted to ensure that scars would be covered. It was a non-issue and was taken care of with ease. Finally, the price of my gown was SO much better than I had anticipated. I've heard of many shops that jack the price up and I was so pleased to find that this gown came in way under budget and that almost ALL of the gowns in the shop were in fact below the budget I had set. All in all, I can't say enough great things about this shop and would recommend it to anyone!

to order and the sample was close to my size. The seamstress was very nice, although it did take 2 fittings to get it just right and I was on somewhat of a time crunch, so I was a bit worried. But ultimately the dress fit perfectly. My only complaints are that the alterations price was a but high and like another person commented, they use cheap hangers and mine cracked in half at the hotel and the dress fell on the floor. Luckily I had another hanger and my dress was layered so it didn’t wrinkle, but I think for the price they should invest in better hangers. Overall I would recommend The Wedding Store.

Even though I came in with a few styles in mind, she insisted on putting me in almost one of every dress type to make sure I was able see what I liked and didn't like from the beginning. We did eventually narrow it down, but, again, she didn't pull the sales move to make me buy a gown that I may or may not have liked and even told me to go to a few other shops to try on more options before making a decision. Well I did, I went to one other shop and I found my dress. However, I appreciated her service so much, I wanted to buy my dress from The Wedding Store (and added bonus, the shop is only 20 minutes from my house). They didn't have my dress in stock, but I saw that they had a trunk show for the designer of my dress coming up in a month or so and they suggested I call back to see if my dress would be included in the inventory for the trunk show. I called back almost once a week leading up to the show to make sure they could ensure my dress was in their inventory - and they did it, they got my dress. I scheduled my appointment during the designer trunk show and got my dress with the trunk show discount. And their service for the fitting process exceeded my expectations. Deborah, the seamstress, was sweet and very detailed oriented. My dress needed several alterations because of the complexity of the lace and bustle - the fitting process was long, but necessary and I'm so glad they took the time to get it right because my dress was perfect. Overall, I'm so so happy and grateful with my experience at the Wedding Store.

y to discover the store we'd driven almost three hours for is no longer in business. Once the shock and disappointment wore off (Google lied to us), some ladies in a hair salon told us to take the extra six mile drive to The Wedding Store to poke around and maybe make an appointment. We walked in with no idea we would be leaving with my actual gown that same day, and only on our second outting looking for my dress! The staff as more than happy to set us up in the bridesmaid room, as there was a bride with an appointment coming in within minutes of our arrival. We would've been happy to pick out a few things for me to try on from that selection, but our lovely attendant (whose name I unfortunately do not recall, but she was absolutely fantastic) brought over some recently marked-down gowns and some more vintage style gowns the other bride wasn't interested in looking at for me to try on. Out of five she pulled for me, two were tied to be at least seriously considered and revisited staff proper appointment, one tagged at $1095 and the other at $2050, and then she dropped a bombshell on us: the $2050 gown was a size 10 and a discontinued style they could no longer order. It was marked-down to $99. It was a no brainier, especially when I loved it so much and didn't want to take it off, even with clips holding it up. I had just changed back into my clothes and my mom had gone to the restroom when the attendant came back to me with the dress in a size 6. It didn't need clips to stay up and, aside from needing to be taken in and hemmed, was as close to a perfect fit as I could've hoped for right off the rack. The whole visit took less than an hour, probably closer to 45 minutes, and it wasn't rushed in the slightest -- it was just incredibly, incredibly​ easy. It was an incredible experience, with such thoughtful and genuinely enthusiastic help, and it was absolutely beyond worth the extremely long car ride. We're definitely going to be making appointments for my mom, my future mother-in-law and sister-in-law, and my stepmom at The Wedding Store, and I find myself wishing I had bridesmaids to make appointments for, too. I cannot say enough good about how positively mind-blowing the entire visit was.

to go smoothly until the girls actually got their dresses. I was absolutely mortified and appalled at the way they treated my bridesmaids. 2 of my girls could not fit into their dresses. The store had clearly mis-measured them. Judy told me they would cover the alteration costs if it was their mistake. When each girl went in with their dress to have it looked at, they were completely insulted and torn apart. The woman literally told one of them that no dress would ever fit her right because her ribs were too big! When the other girl went she was told her shoulders were too broad! They also tried to get these girls to pay for the alterations because "it isn't their fault that their bodies are different". I was outraged, but did not want to stir the pot before the wedding as I didn't want any ramifications to be taken out on the girls' dresses. I heard from another friend who had an identical experience there that the woman told her that "this is how dresses are supposed to fit. You must not be used to wearing nice dresses" when the dress wouldn't even close. I loved the dresses, but these completely offensive comments were absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to shop here unless you want to have your bridal party feeling body shamed and belittled.

ny. I had to wait until after my wedding to post for fear of ramifications. Most good reviews are about the buying process but the drama starts when the dresses come in. I got my dress and all bridesmaid dresses at this store. They measured us themselves and ordered based off that and somehow we got two girls dresses the wrong size. One girl was a full size too small. One they ordered two sizes too big. She measured her at a two but said oh she's more like a six. We happened to have dresses in their proper sizes from other bridesmaids in the wedding being similar and even showing them in person that the girls fit in to the other sizes perfectly and they refused to admit wrong doing. The owner was very nasty and said "everyone needs alterations". The one girl dropped out for personal things in her life so the one girl just took her size two dress since it fit and we had it altered elsewhere. She only needed a hem. The Wedding Store wanted to charge hundreds to make the six a two since it is a total reconstruction. Still refused to admit they ordered wrong. When the other girl went to get her dress and it was way too small, she left without taking the dress home. No alterations department saw her in the gown, only the young sales girl yet somehow they altered the gown without telling us until after and not taking any measurements. The owner lied and told me she was there and saw the girl in it but she had called me while in the dress and said they were trying to find the owner but she already went home and I told her leave don't take the dress. They then charged my card which was not to be done until after she had a proper fitting. She went back to try on the dress and it did not zip still (surprise) and the fabric was twisted and poorly sewn back together with exposed seams. After numerous phone calls the owner was extremely rude and nasty. She finally refunded the alterations after making a point that she makes enough money so it's "no skin off her nose." I had work so my mom went with the girl for the final fitting and they then made my mom re-pay for the alterations since it had to be done a second time by THEIR WRONG DOING. My dress came in and fit almost perfect. I go to my second fitting which was only after they did an adjustment to the bust and all of the sudden my dress was so tight I could barely breath and my back was squished together so badly I had a crease straight up it. The woman that put the dress on me even commented that it was much tighter than last time. They tried to blame me saying I gained weight or menstrual. I demanded to be measured and I was an inch smaller than my first fitting. I then had to spend the next three weeks doing further dieting to fit to correct their mistake. When I called the owner to complain about this she told me this wasn't a mistake or a problem that I just wasn't used to how form fitting they were supposed to be but alterations said it was too tight. I hope no bride has to suffer what I did. It made the few months leading up to my wedding more stressful than necessary and the fact that we got zero apologies was horrible.

or me. I wish they were more transparent about the size they ordered I would have chosen to order in the size of the sample that fit fine. The fitting was expensive but the women who did it was lovely and very helpful. I wanted a pocket in my dress and it cost a little extra but she did a great job and no one knew I had a pocket until I reached in and pulled out my vows there was a bit of a gasp that went around the audience. I got a TON of compliments on my dress but especially my pocket!

She listened to what I liked and didnt like...what my body concerns were...and what I was picturing in my head and brought me the perfect dress that was lower than my budget. No matter the drive, make a point to stop in - you won't be disappointed.

I originally went to the Wedding Store because I had settled for a dress and they were having a trunk sale, so I was going to buy it there (their prices are amazing, you really can't beat it). But when I got there my consultant had me try on a few styles that I had never even considered, or been offered, at other stores. I feel in love with a dress that was the COMPLETE opposite of what I had came for. The consultant took her time with me, she was so patient. I did my tailoring there as well and they were so incredibly detailed. You are more than just another face when you got there, every time I called they remembered who I was, what dress I had, etc. The tailor even took my Mom's wedding dress and made it into a beautiful garter for me! I would suggest The Wedding Store to every bride!!

I also feel that they had the largest selection of bridesmaid dresses (I asked each bridesmaid to pick out the dress they felt the most comfortable in - I wanted everyone to look different) for the best price since they received a 20% discount because I bought my dress there. However, the experience after getting the dresses was nothing short of terrible. Let's break it down: BRIDE EXPERIENCE I had to go back for 4 fittings because each time the seamstress was unable to fit the dress to my body. I asked for the bottom to be hemmed and each time they did not listen and I was unable to walk. By the fourth time they altered the dress to the point where I was comfortable with the look and I was able to walk. They had the dress and the veil steamed and prepared for me to pick up a few days before the wedding. I went to pick it up and brought it home. My mother took the wedding dress to keep at her house until the night before the wedding. When she went to hang the dress up THE HANGER AND FORM SNAPPED IN HALF. My dress fell to the bottom of the garment hanger and the veil was stuck on the bottom. I had a very large and heavy dress which meant that everything was going to be wrinkled and ruined for the wedding. My mother then went back to The Wedding Store the day before my wedding to have them re-steam and re-assemble it. THEY USED THE SAME CHEAP HANGER AND FORM. Needless to say, the dress was treated as if it was made of glass in case the hanger were to snap again. BRIDESMAID EXPERIENCE The Wedding Store ordered multiple sizes up for many of my bridesmaids. They told my family and friends that it was because they knew what they were doing. When my sister received her bridesmaid dress you could hold the dress a full 6 inches away from her body. They fixed that for free but when she said that it was still too big they told her "well you know brides they just pick what they want". Which was not the case at all with me. My sister had to take the dress to another tailor who took an additional 4 inches of fabric out of the dress. The staff were not nice at all to my bridal party and gave them a lot of snide remarks - trying to make them feel stupid. They kept saying that they knew best and that my friends and family didn't know what they were talking about. Bottom line - getting these dresses cheaper didn't work out because everyone had to take their dress to other tailors in order to fix the dresses in a way that everyone would be comfortable wearing. If you are looking for a bridal salon that will treat you and your family like a princess, DO NOT go to The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton.

ze. The ladies at the Wedding Store went above and beyond to get me into and even better dress, calmed my nerves, essentially held my hand and really came through. Having to pick a new dress four months before your wedding is incredibly stressful but they found an even more perfect dress then the original. They also did my bridesmaids dresses and all the girls looked perfect. Their tailors are amazing, their staff honestly did the best job ever. If you're getting married in the area it's honestly they best place to go. I swear by them after my experience.

in a bunch of pictures of dresses I liked, and they pulled dresses that were perfect! It was actually hard to nail things down to just one dress! I went to a couple other places, but I really could have stopped after going here. They listened to what I wanted, gave me tons of personal attention, and were a lot of fun! After purchasing my dress, I then needed to schedule my fittings, which wouldn't have been such a big deal except for the fact that I live in KY. They were incredibly accommodating because I was an out-of-town bride, and they worked the fittings around my schedule when I would already be coming to town. I was also having trouble finding the right jewelry, and the seamstress helped me pick out the perfect necklace and earrings, which they discounted for me just to be kind! My only complaint is that the team who works with the seamstress isn't always particularly detail-oriented, and they didn't do one of the alterations she had listed on the dress ticket after the first fitting. When they shipped my dress to me after the final fitting (because the wedding was in TN) they had forgotten to finish re-doing the beading on the straps of my dress. This probably wouldn't have been a big deal if I had been a local bride who could ask them to fix it right then. Luckily, we went to a craft store and found similar beads, and my mom was able to finish the beading. So I would definitely make sure you check your dress for all the alterations you requested, and you may need to remind them to fix things. Overall though it was a wonderful experience, and the staff is great! They have beautiful dresses, kind and accommodating people, and reasonable prices! My family loved it so much that my mom got her mother-of-the-bride dress there, and we're getting our bridesmaids dresses for my sister's wedding there. When my younger sister gets married, I'm guessing she'll get her dress from here too. I would definitely recommend The Wedding Store for brides, bridesmaids, and mother-of-the-brides!

. My bridesmaids and MOB and MOG picked out their dresses there. They kept us up to date on all of our orders and took the time to call me and let me know my dress had arrived! The fitting process was flawless and my dress fit me perfectly. The seamstress was great, listened to any of my concerns and immediately put me at ease. I would definitely recommend everyone to come to this store, they have beautiful dress selections not just for weddings. Thank you for making wedding day even better!

The consultant I met with was extremely patient. Every dress I put on was absolutely gorgeous, it just wasn't the dress that I had fallen in love with (which was too small for me). She encouraged me to go back and buy the dress I had fallen in love with. She spent time showing my mother and I how a seamstress can find extra fabric in the dress to let it out. She knew I wasn't going to buy my bridal gown with her but spent so much time with me, encouraging me to go back for my dress! Her patience and kindness prompted us to look at their selection of bridesmaid and mother of the groom dresses. We couldn't believe the selection that they had! Hundreds and hundreds of dresses that could be ordered in any color! We came back (drove over 20 miles) on two separate occasions. Once for my mother to find her dress and another for me and my Maid of Honor to pick out dresses for the bridesmaids. We ended up with the most gorgeous dresses. The Wedding Store even offered to put a customized Navy Blue bow on the back of the dresses to match the guy's Navy Suits. Aside from the great selection and service, their prices were extremely competitive. The Wedding Store loves what they do and wants to make you happy! Thanks for making my dreams come true!

They just kept bringing out dress after dress that actually fit me... so by the end I had 3 favorites to choose from (in all the other shops, I hadn't found a single dress). But then they brought out 1 more... It was absolutely my dress! It is truly an amazing feeling but I knew it was my dress as I was stepping into it! The staff played a huge roll in finding my perfect dress. They are hands down the best staff that I experienced. They are friendly, very warm and they listen to how you are feeling and then work off of what you want. They immediately make you comfortable. It was through her listening to what I liked/didn't like about each dress that eventually brought me to my perfect dress. Not to mention their selection is phenomenal and their prices were very reasonable compared to the other shops I went to. My dress was perfect and the cost was great! They also did my alterations and the cost was very reasonable. It was one flat rate for all alterations including the bustle. The alteration process was also a wonderful experience because of the staff. They listen to your concerns and how you feel and that is their priority. They go above and beyond (with a lot of patience because I'm a picky bride) to make the dress everything you want it to be. They also gave my bridesmaids discounts on their dresses because I purchased my dress here. There were so many bridesmaid dresses for them to choose from. They all picked out different dresses in the same color scheme and the staff was considerate and patient with us through the entire process! Go here! You will love it!

I worked with Erin to find my wedding dress and she pulled out a couple and in no time I had my dress. I never felt pressured and she encouraged me to go home think about it and come back. From that inital appointment to the last fitting everyone and everything was perfect. I would absolutely recommend them and I would go back to them in a heartbeat. I wound up getting my wedding gown at a steep discount as it was a discontinued model which was AWESOME! I also thought the bridesmaid dresses were decently priced. HUGE selection as well. and my maid of honor's dress came with a 20% discount because I purchased my wedding gown through them. they also carry a ton of jewelry, head pieces and shoes! 1 stop shopping which was so convenient. great place, great family!

But she along with Erin were the dream team. They were able to get my dress fit and done within the time crunch we had.. And THANK GOODNESS, because it really was stunning. It was exactly what I was looking for and had envisioned in my head. I really appreciated all the time they spent with me. I genuinely felt that they cared and cannot thank them enough for that. They made the entire process easy and fun and even when it got a little hairy, I had complete faith and trust in them and that is priceless. Thank you again!!

When I went to The Wedding Store upset and in a panic, my fears were immediately calmed. They provided a perfect solution and were able to correct my mistake in a very professional and non- noticeable manner. They were caring, professional and reassuring. I worked with The Wedding Store for a year and a half, ordering and altering my bridal gown, buying earrings, and ordering my bridesmaids dresses. The service at The Wedding Store was always exceptional and they made me feel so special. My dress fit like a glove and I could not have wished for a better experience!

Sue helped me when I first visited the store and she also helped me during each and every fitting. She was so easy-going and made everything about buying a wedding gown easy and relaxing. and really made you feel like part of their family. One month after that, I made an appointment to look for my dress. They helped me try on the type of style I said I had liked, but also had me try on all different types, just to make sure. Being that I had a budget I wanted to stick to, they helped me make sure I only tried on dresses within that budget, and helped me find a beautiful gown for way less than I expected! And when I told them I had a veil from my sister in law that I was using as my something borrowed, they did not push me to buy one from them - in fact they were said how great it was to not have to spend the extra money. Same went for a belt - I did not like the one that came w/ my dress and my mom had found online for very cheap - the staff did not push for me to look for one at their store and they were glad I was able to find one that looked great on the dress for like $25 online! My alterations came out great. They sewed my belt onto the dress beautifully and my bustle was awesome! I could not have been happier with both my gown and the girls' bridesmaid dresses. Ordering both my wedding gown and the bridesmaid dresses from The Wedding Store was a breeze! They are all so easy to work with and so friendly. I loved every time I walked into the store, they immediately recognized me.. it really was like being treated like you were part of their family, and not just another bride. With every visit/fitting they spent time with you, wanted to catch up, hear all about what was going on, etc. I never felt rushed or that they had other things to do. Even when I was the last appointment of the night! Thank you to The Wedding Store for helping me find THE dress & for making my whole bridesmaid dress/wedding gown process so easy and stress-free!!

nicest experiences I had was at The Wedding Store in Andover so I’m glad I made the trip out there. The store has beautiful dresses at reasonable prices which was important to me since I didn’t want to spend $2000+ on a dress I was only going to wear for one day. The quality of the dresses for the price was so much better than other stores I visited. The staff is so accommodating and friendly and make you feel like a part of their family (and not just another customer). I went there twice and the second time there were more dresses for me to try on. It was nice getting to know them and joking around during each of my visits. Each time the same people were around to offer their opinions. They were patient with my indecisiveness and never rushed me through the appointments or pressured me to make a decision. In the end, I chose the dress I tried on during my initial visit. I also bought my veil and had my alterations done there and my dress fit perfectly in the end. The only “negative” I could mention was that they pull dresses for you based on your wish list and so you didn’t have the opportunity to look through their racks and pick out dresses you wanted to try. This was probably a good thing for me because the more choices I had, the harder my decision would have been! They did however pull some dresses for me that were different from the usual dresses I had been trying on. The family has been in business for a long time so they know what they are doing and you are in good hands with these ladies! The Wedding Store has everything you could need for your wedding day as well as bridesmaid and mother of the bride attire. My mom ended up getting her dress there as well and was given a discount which was nice. I highly recommend this store!

Every time I went into the store they remembered my name and what dress I had picked. Because I bought my dress there they offered a discount on the bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses if I bought them there. The selection is large for all the types of dresses. I can't wait for my younger sister to get married because I know exactly where we will be going.

consultant I have for my first and last fitting was wonderful, she was so helpful and encouraging. The owner of the store however is not so pleasant. I also think the price of their alterations are a bit steep. My dress cost $500, and to have straps shortened and buttons added down the back of the dress is was over $500 as well. I don't think it was very reasonable, and the owner is not very personable so that would be the only disappointment I experienced. Also, do not trust their prices for bridesmaids dresses, I found my bridesmaids dresses else where for much cheaper (even with the discount you receive for buying your wedding gown at their store).

Well, a friend recommended to me that I look at the wedding store since that's where she got her dress at a very reasonable price - so I decided to check it out. All I can say is WOW!! I was totally blown away by the large selection of gowns they have AND their wonderful service. I never felt rushed, pressured to pick a gown, or unattended. They spent as much time with me and pulled as many dresses as I wanted. When my attendant pulled my wedding dress and brought it in for me to look at along with several others, it wasn't even a style I would've chose for myself...but the moment I saw it I was in LOVE! (Also, completely not like me at all...I hate wearing dresses!) After that point, the whole experience was a breeze. Scheduling fittings and alterations with them was so simple and they are so helpful I didn't stress about it at all. My dress was beautiful, and I was a beautiful bride thanks to them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get a gorgeous wedding dress at an affordable price!
