The Weingarten offers a romantic indoor and outdoor rustic wedding venue in Belleville, IL. Surrounded by a beautiful forest, cultivated acreage, and a charming pond, our beautiful landscape offers a photogenic setting for your special day. The Weingarten's unique setting offers venue options unlike any other.
The Weingarten is a charming winery set in a picturesque landscape. The property features a private outdoor Ceremony Site surrounded by natural greenery. Here, couples can exchange vows in front of a charming arbor and lush trees. This site includes seating for up to 200 guests but is able to host an outdoor ceremony for up to 350 guests. The Party Barn invites couples to host an indoor wedding ceremony of up to 120 guests in a unique and rustic venue. This space has a cozy atmosphere with exposed beams, beautiful woodwork, and chandeliers. The Tasting Room, connected to the Party Barn, offers a reception for up to 120 guests with private patio space, and you and your guests would have access to anything that our Main Bar has to offer! The Garden Tent is designed for couples who wish to hold their entire celebration outdoors. This spacious venue is the perfect option to follow an outdoor ceremony. It offers the option to be a fully enclosed venue, or tent panels may be opened to fashion more of an open-air option. The Weingarten also offers a large, relaxing suite for wedding parties to prepare for the day.

The venue provides couples with a variety of approved caterers, offering an assortment of menu selections. can't tell you how terrified we initially were. All of our other services were still planned, and we were worried that we wouldn't find a place that could work with our pre-existing plans, and that we'd never find another place that felt as special as our first pick. The Weingarten exceeded all expectations! Not only were we able to fit our ceremony with the Weingarten in with our other plans for the day, but the venue was absolutely stunning and made our day feel completely magical! From our first tour, my husband and I knew this venue was the right choice for us. All the event staff are extremely responsive and so caring towards your unique needs. You never feel out-of-the-loop or lost in the planning process, or like you can't ask a question. Our day went off without a hitch as well! Our rehearsal was wonderfully helpful and all the staff made sure the entire wedding party felt like they knew exactly what to do the day of the wedding! As for the ceremony itself, there was rain the day before our wedding, and the staff assured me that they would absolutely do everything in their power to keep the wedding outdoors as we'd originally envisioned it, and would keep me up to date if the ground was too soft to set up chairs. Everything was in its place the day of the wedding and I didn't have to worry about a thing regarding set-up, and we got to have the outdoor wedding we'd dreamt of! Truly, from start to finish, I can't thank the Weingarten's event staff enough for being as kind, thoughtful, and enthusiastic as they were! You made our day so incredibly special!

tent reception were quite literally picture perfect. Having access to the bridal suite for the bride & bridesmaids to gather & dress for pre-wedding photos was another terrific convenience. Everything we needed was available on-site.
The staff was very accommodating throughout the months of planning & offered so many helpful suggestions . We appreciated the attention to all the little details that are so very important to brides & their moms. We would highly recommend The Weingarten & staff .

I entered the ceremony on a horse-drawn carriage (an extra that you can include in your wedding package) and guests were raving about how beautiful it was. They work with one exclusive caterer for the food and the food was delicious, well-priced, and they host several tasting events so that you can sample the food and beverages and make selections prior to your event. The coordinators were absolutely awesome in making sure every last detail was taken care of and in place to the point where I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout our entire ceremony/reception. Plus they were always super friendly and responsive with all my millions of questions leading up to the event! I loved having our wedding here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Planning was a cinch with our awesome coordinator(s); the Weingarten thinks of EVERY detail and helped keep everything on track leading up to the wedding. The wedding day was a breeze with the planners running the show. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding celebration at the Weingarten!!!

The day of the wedding was flawless; Heather and Liz (and the rest of the Weingarten staff) did a perfect job coordinating our wedding; we were not stressed at all. They have it down to a science and always checked in to see if we needed anything throughout the night. Not only did the day go smoothly, we also got so many compliments on how good the food was. The Weingarten is so beautiful and scenic we did not even have to do any off site pictures which was really nice. We would HIGHLY recommend the Weingarten for your wedding, reception, or both.

' needs and wants first. Our wedding coordinator, Liz, is a true professional and even made sure we planned for aspects of the wedding that had never crossed our minds. There are so many "extras" included in the wedding package, it really helps streamline the planning process and lets brides concentrate on other wedding plans. The ceremony site is beautiful and secluded, so you and your guests can have the most intimate affair. And in the event of bad weather, they can easily carry that vibe over to the wedding reception tent . Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we wouldn't change a single thing. Even weeks and months afterwards, many of our guests tell us it was the best wedding they've been too! Thank you, Weingarten!

My Husband and I really loved the fact that almost everything was included in the price; from linens and chairs to wedding coordinator and catering! Royal Catering did such an amazing job with our food, we received compliments all night!
We also loved the fact that we could hold our ceremony and reception at the same location. There are many beautiful spots on site for pictures and first looks. The ceremony site is GORGEOUS and very secluded!
The Weingarten also offers a “Bridal Suite” so the girls (or guys) can get ready on site! This really came in handy for us as we had a lot of decorating and didn’t have to travel anywhere to get ready.
We couldn’t’ be happier with our experience with the Weingarten and their staff.

t was gorgeous- down a path, surrounded by trees, etc. Their rain back-up location was also beautiful, which was a big selling point for us as most outdoor locations didn't have a great back up location. Their bridal suite was, by far, the best I've ever seen. It's literally a house on their property, so plenty of room. There are 3 vanity areas set up inside as well. My makeup and hair stylist said it was by far the best setup, lighting and room-wise, that she has ever done wedding makeup at. The only downfall was they went through about 3 event coordinators between the time we booked our wedding with them and the actual date of our wedding (a little over a year), but I hear that is common in the wedding industry. Because of the turnover, some details/information slipped through the cracks, but it wasn't the end of the word. Bottom line was that it was beautiful, and our guests were completely wow'ed by the beauty of our ceremony! I keep saying they need to have more advertising and marketing for their wedding options because I was not expecting the beautiful accommodations that we received! If we did it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing about the ceremony!

hen one of my Facebook friends was married there and I saw the pictures, I knew we had to get married there! We went in the beginning of December to look at the grounds (unbeknownst to me, they had closed for the season). However, one of the owners happened to be present and stopped what he was doing to show us the event room, reception tent, and drive us down to the ceremony site! He even pulled out books of wedding photographs to show us examples! He was happy to give the event coordinator our information and she was in contact right away. The staff is very professional in signing contracts and answering questions. About a month prior to our wedding, we attended a dinner and wine tasting provided by the Weingarten. We were able to sample a dinner menu provided by the caterers and taste wine provided by the Weingarten in order for us to choose our wedding dinner and drinks menu. Throughout the entire process, the event coordinators (especially Emily) were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! They were always quick to answer my phone calls and emails.
We hosted our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Weingarten, and I could not be happier with our decision. This venue is second to none! Absolutely beautiful grounds perfect for an outdoor wedding! The food was excellent (my guests are still talking about the brisket) and the staff was helpful and the event planners made sure that every detail was perfect for the big day. The event planners handled every detail and didn’t forget a thing when it came to what we wanted for our wedding.
To any brides or grooms looking for a wedding venue, this is it! I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else.

r special entrance and our DJ was still placing the mic on our officiant. Weather was perfect. The space is beautiful. I had a carriage that brought me down to the ceremony site, which is an amazing entrance. Grace is very nice and I truly enjoyed working with her. She is new to the location and is still trying to play catch up from the coordinator before her. I would highly recommend this location for a beautiful outdoor wedding and I will always remember how beautiful our day turned out to be. Thank you Weingarten!!!!
