We are so happy that we chose The Wellshire for our wedding venue! Sarah was very communicative, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Having someone who knew the ins and outs not only of the wedding industry but of our specific venue was so helpful. The Wellshire is absolutely gorgeous and we got so many compliments from friends and family, not only about the venue itself but about how smoothly our entire event was run. Sarah at the Wellshire and the venue as a whole made our wedding so easy and fun. Sarah was very hands-on during the planning process and thought of every little detail that we would not have remembered. The venue had getting ready spaces and lots of parking for guests, and pulled off our beautiful wedding even in the middle of a massive snowstorm. I highly recommend, especially if you don’t want to do a TON of different vendors-the food was great and so was the bar. Set-up on day of was perfectly handled. We just had the most amazing time, and Sarah was awesome.

I’ve struggled with whether or not I should write this review but at the end of the day if it could help another bride I think it’s worth it. I fell IN LOVE with The Wellshire as soon as I saw it on The Knot. After touring and meeting Chris he was so open and honest I loved it even more. Cost was reasonable and it comes with a full time wedding coordinator? I was THRILLED. Sarah was amazing up until the day before and day of my wedding. Attention to detail seemed to just go out the window and she was IMPOSSIBLE to find the day of my wedding. The bride get ready room was so hot my mom almost passed out even with fans on, the groom and boys never got food that was promised to them, my ceremony was over quicker than expected but I could not find her ever to be told what was to happen next. (I don’t think it’s the bride & grooms job to do so you are so busy and so much going on you forget) I didn’t get all the pictures I wanted because I had no concept of the flow of time- wedding coordinator should help with that. The cherry on top is that they lost or gave my cake and topper to another bride- I’m so grateful I didn’t spend a fortune on them but it’s the principle. No effort was made to find them or even offer to compensate for them basically just stopped responding to me. The location and food were stunning and amazing so I don’t regret my choice I just wish things had gone smoother day of.

We had such a good experience this past weekend at the Wellshire for our wedding. Sarah, the coordinator, was so communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. She has a calming and patient demeanor that helps to ease any planning stress you may have. The venue provides a good amount of decor and provides in house food, which you cannot beat for a plated dinner. The food was wonderful and we got so many good comments from our friends and family. The venue provides such a cozy and unique vibe that you don't need to worry about many other decorations. The space speaks for itself. The bartenders and wait staff took really good care of our guests. We would recommend having any event at the Wellshire to any of our friends or family. Thank you for an unforgettable event!

The Wellshire was the perfect place for a wedding. Chris, the owner, was very straightforward during our initial meeting, which truthfully was blunt at first, but after seeing other venues we were drawn back to the Wellshire and what he had to offer. This place is beautiful and has a lot of unique character with its decor. There is so much room for the ceremony and reception that you never feel crowded. It's on a golf course so the pictures and views are really pretty. Sarah, the wedding coordinator, is so great and communicative. She answers emails promptly and is very organized. The food here is amazing! It was so hard for us to narrow down the menu for what we would offer at the wedding. The bar service was also great! Highly recommend the Wellshire for your wedding venue!

The Wellshire was the absolute best choice for our wedding! First, you have a meeting with the owner, Chris. He gives you all the info you need ans takes you for a tour. He doesn't upsell you. He tells it like it is. My husband and I greatly appreciated his honesty in that first meeting. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself. Along with a gorgeous venue, you have a wedding coordinator. Ours was Sarah. She was on top of everything from the moment we signed our contract. Any question we had a long the way, she answered thoroughly and quickly. She coordinated our day perfectly. We cannot recommend the Wellshire enough. They truly know what they are doing, and if we had to do it over, I'd choose the Wellshire 100 times.

From the first visit it was clear that the Wellshire knows what they're doing when it comes to event planning. It was an easy decision to trust them with our wedding, especially since nearly everything (tables, linens, centerpieces, food, etc) is included. Sarah, their event planner, did a stellar job- she was communicative, friendly, and accommodated our requests to make our day even more special. We highly recommend!

I may add more her as I think of it, but my husband and I had an AMAZING wedding experience here! Sarah the wedding coordinator is a delight to interact with and very professional - she was on top of everything throughout our entire process, in both planning and execution. The grounds of the event center are beautifully maintained and landscaped - it looks like a fairytale cottage when you first approach the venue. The photo opportunities would never have you thinking that a major roadway is only 20 feet away (the small bridges leading towards the golf course were particularly charming). The character of the building and the antiques showcased in many parts of the interior gave us a lot of room to cut costs on decor, so even on a slightly more modest budget, you can have a truly visually beautiful wedding here. They also offer a more modern tent add-on if you prefer that type of set up for your ceremony. Any staff around when Sarah or the owner were not were super helpful and friendly. The layout is very walkable and for the most part, very accessible (the only complaint I have is that there is no elevator that leads to the bride's dressing suite, but he stairs up to it are only about a half a flight). The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and absolutely gorgeous, and includes a bathroom, closet with safes, and lots of vanities and natural lighting to do makeup/hair in. The groom's room is much more modest, but includes a TV, and there are complimentary drinks and other refreshments for both rooms while the wedding party gets ready. Outside alcohol is not permitted, as with many venues, but they were courteous enough to fill an outside container for us (a flask that has made it to many other weddings as a family tradition). For dining, no need to deal with a caterer - plated dinner is included with your contract (no large cake service, but they offer tasty dessert bar options). Our tasting experience was seamless and streamlined. The food was incredible, and with the appropriate amount of notice, the kitchen is very amenable to making accommodations for allergies and other dietary restrictions. The venue also offers a wide range of colored linens to customize your tables, so if you are able to find something that works for your theme, there's no need to deal with an outside vendor for those. The only complaint I would have is that some of desserts we selected to be served were a little frozen still (one was a cheesecake and one was a raspberry mousse), but we also ordered a cake from elsewhere, and had other options from the venues that didn't have this issue. I still wouldn't take away a star for this small thing. I would absolutely recommend this venue to others for their wedding.

The Wellshire is an absolutely beautiful and romantic venue. We had a November wedding and were floored by the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. Sarah Ringler was our day of coordinator and was an absolute dream. Bridal party and guests were even commenting on her demeanor and competency as she ensure our day went without a hitch. You always hear of some kind of drama or issue on a wedding day... we did not have a single incident! It was absolutely amazing and wonderful and we would recommend them to anyone considering a wedding of any size!

TL;DR the Sarah and the Wellshire team are incredible. The Wellshire was absolutely amazing to work with and they made our wedding go so smoothly. We planned our wedding from London, UK and we were able to lean on Sarah throughout the planning process and she's very organized in google drive. Her recommended vendor list was a really nice jumping off point and her other documents were super helpful. The rehearsal the day before went really well and was great to have a walk through of exactly what to do. My mom (who organised all table decorations) was worried about having enough time to set up the day of and was very stressed about getting it done. Sarah and her team did a lot of the heavy lifting based on my mom's reference photos and my mom was able to spend most of her time in the bridal suite with me and was able to enjoy her morning stress free (can't thank you enough for that Sarah!). On the day of, Sarah and her team helped everything stay on track by setting up décor, informing our guests of where to be, helping with the photographer, and answering soo many questions. The food was also very good (slightly undercooked veggies but otherwise amazing) We got so many compliments on the venue - many of our guests have lived in the area and had no idea it was here. The character of the building was what made us choose it. Our wedding day was perfect. Nothing went wrong, everything was on track, and everything was very well done. Thanks Sarah!

We narrowed our venue down to 3 places and this one was the clear winner for many reasons. 1) The owner, Chris, was the one to give us the tour. He was an extremely honest, up-front, direct, and a very kind gentleman. He didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t want. The price was very clear and reasonable, given all the amenities/features. 2) We LOVE food - we wanted a place that would make sure that no guest would leave hungry and use high quality ingredients. 3) We wanted flexibility on the alcohol, and we ended up going with house-selection of wine, beer, and liquor until we hit a certain amount. We could have done signature drinks, cash bar, open bar etc. but it was nice to have a lot of different options to fit our budget. 3) We worked with Sarah Ringler, one of the truly fabulous wedding coordinators, throughout the entire process. Let me tell you - she is AMAZING!! She was very communicative, helped me make many decisions (I’m very indecisive), hosted the most amazing tasting session for the wedding food, and was so easy to talk to. We had lots of last minute changes with guest count/seating, but I felt comfortable going to Sarah and talking with her through all the things that came up. We couldn’t have had a better day of coordinator - her professionalism, industry knowledge, kindness, approachability, and flexibility made her the most perfect coordinator! 4) We didn’t want to spend a lot of money on decorations/decor. Wellshire was so very perfect for this, because the venue has so much built-in character. We only had a wedding slideshow, pictures in photo frames (ones that were already in the house), a wooden “The Lees” sign from Etsy (reusable for our home after the wedding), and the DIY flowers for decor. 5) We wanted a place with a bridal and grooms suite. Both rooms opened at noon and had light snacks and champagne/beer available. 6) There were many ceremony options for us to pick from - we went with the Windsor room because it was perfect for our guest count and was so beautiful inside. 7) This place is 30 minutes from DIA, which was perfect since most guests were flying in from out of state. Overall, highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a seamless wedding planning process with the most incredible wedding coordinator (go Sarah!) AND beautiful venue that is close to downtown and the airport.

TLDNR: Excellent venue with two caveats: Try the booze ahead of time and get your own wedding planner. We did our ceremony at Cheesman pavilion, and then our reception at the Wellshire. **Alcohol:** They have an extensive wine distribution list, but the Wellshire won’t send you a full menu, so you have to source your own wines. Once you tell them the wine you like, they will tell you the pricing. The house wines are low quality and expensive. Kim Crawford Chardonnay for $36 is outrageous. My whole family are big wine drinkers and so it was important to us to have good wine. This concern was compounded by the fact that the wedding coordinator did not communicate about the alcohol deadline until about 4 weeks out. At that point, there was almost no time left. I was put in touch with their beverage manager, Todd, on 4/20/23 and our wedding was on 5/13/23. By 5/4/23 he said he was unable to source additional wines. While this was reasonable, I would have expected to be notified and reminded about this deadline starting in December (at our tasting) about what we would need to do in order to get different wines. No one had mentioned a deadline previously. We ended up buying probably $100-$150 of wine to see which wines we actually liked in order to make a good selection with the food. Be aware that you will definitely want to do this, unless you want to drink their house wines (Woodbridge). You can go to the golf club any day to try the different wines, which my fiancé and I did. With the exception of the Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon. the wines are about as drinkable as airplane wine. In retrospect, going to the golf club and drinking the wine as soon as you book the venue is the way to go. That way, you know exactly what you’re getting. Fortunately, Chris, the owner, was able to help us source our own alcohol despite the short notice and we were very relieved. In the end, we ordered Josh Pinot Grigio ($36/bottle), 2021 Josh Legacy Red Blend ($36/bottle), and the 2021 Bread and Butter Chardonnay ($44/bottle) and we got a much better wine for roughly the same price. Chris went above and beyond to make sure we got the wine we wanted. To me, the mark of a good business is how quickly they can rectify mistakes, and they certainly did that. **Wedding Planner** I would also recommend getting your own wedding planner. I did that five months before my wedding (shout out to Rachael Marie Weddings) and that was a godsend. While the wedding planner at the Wellshire is excellent on the day-of, I was very happy that I had Rachael the whole day, and she definitely had plenty to do. She even helped thinking about where the most strategic places to put the DJ was, which definitely helped with the flow between the two rooms. Since the Wellshire is doing multiple back to back weddings weekly, they simply don’t have the time to fully plan your wedding, regardless of what is advertised. However, despite these caveats, I would definitely use the Wellshire again for our wedding. The venue was done up to the nines, it looked fabulous. Food came out hot, drinks were flowing, and it was a great party. I was a little worried that it would be weird to have two wedding planners, but their wedding coordinator, Sarah, worked seamlessly with my wedding coordinator on the day of. Overall, I was very happy with our reception and would recommend the Wellshire.

The Wellshire made everything so easy and AMAZING!!!! Sarah was calm and kept everything on track day of. She was also great at communicating before the event. The whole event staff took great care of us and our guests. We loved that the owner, Chris, meets with every couple when we toured the venue and again a few weeks before the wedding. I would highly recommend this venue.

Our wedding was on 09/06/2022. The Wellshire was perfect! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Since there was no even the night before, we were able to bring all of our decorations the day before. We did our best to set up as much as we could. The next day, we got married in the morning at a different location. Pictures took longer than expected and on the hour drive down to the Wellshire, I was stressed that there would not be enough time to finish setting up. When I walked in, I was amazed! The staff and coordinator, Sarah, had set everything up. It was a wonderful surprise! Sarah was great. She was a lot of help and really made sure that things went smoothly. She is also incredibly kind. All of the staff was kind. The food was also amazing. I had the salmon with sweet chili sauce and it was delicious. During the tasting, we didn't try it but took a leap of faith and put it on the menu. I'm glad we did. When decorating, I highly suggest bringing in furniture for the lounge area. It made the room feel warm and homey. All of my guests also loved the wedding and said everything was beautiful. Looking for a place to have your wedding? The Wellshire is it!

The Wellshire was the best venue I could have hoped for for my wedding. It's an absolutely stunning, rustic, building on a beautiful golf course, and the owner really tries to take care of his clients. Most of the staff is absolutely fantastic, and I love that the venue is all-inclusive-- the things I had to provide is my own decor, a photographer, a videographer, a DJ, and the officiant. All the day-of staff, coordination, and food came from The Wellshire. From the guest's perspective, everything went absolutely perfectly. From the bride's perspective, there were definitely things (coordination related) that needed work, but I had a great time anyway. Best day ever!

Our wedding on 7/23/22 was wonderful, most thanks to the Wellshire! Kacey was fantastic to work with, answered every question we had, and took the time to help our vision come to life. The Wellshire is hands down a spectacular venue choice! When we were looking for a venue for our wedding, we knew we wanted something unique and full of character. From the moment we stepped foot into the front door, we both knew this was it! The historic value of the venue really shines when its full of the people you care the most about. It truly was gorgeous. Sarah Ringler, the venue coordinator, is a literal angel. She was amazing to us and was right by our side leading up to the wedding and the day itself. The entire Wellshire Staff is so thoughtful, caring and flexible! Our guests were blown away by the venue, the service and the food! The Wellshire is a gorgeous, conveniently located venue here in Denver, and we would highly recommend having your wedding there! The space is lovely- it has lots of historic charm, but it has also been very well updated and maintained. We looked at 8 different venues in the Denver area before booking, and this one was by far our favorite. We met with Chris, the owner, and he did a great job explaining everything, answering all of our questions, and talking up the food. Throughout the wedding planning process (including postponing a year due to COVID uncertainties), Kacey was a huge help. As our day-of coordinator, she made sure the planning and our day ran very smoothly. The Wellshire’s recommended vendor list was also a huge help. You can use whoever you would like for your vendors, but we chose all of our’s from their list (although we did research a lot of other vendors too), and we were so pleased with every single one! The food did not disappoint either- we loved it, and it got lots of compliments from our guests. The Wellshire was the only venue that we looked at that makes their food on-site, and it really showed! We could not have asked for a better venue or wedding!

We fell in Love with the charming, old building (beautiful stained glass windows, wooden beams & floors, fireplaces, exposed brick, mountain views across the golf course) but we were sold by the convenience of having almost everything included (catering & bar with staff, chairs, plates, linens, signs, set up, clean up). Owner Chris tried to talk us OUT of all the additional expenses, like an open bar or unnecessary decorations, and he gave credit for the excellent reviews to his *salaried* staff. Kacey & Sarah were both helpful, organized, and friendly venue contacts. Our guests keep telling us how impressed they were with the food and service!

We recently hosted our wedding at the Wellshire Event Center, I would not recommend using this venue. The venue is beautiful and the wedding was fun but the planning process was a nightmare. Our coordinator Kacey was disorganized and difficult to communicate with. Days before the wedding we could not get ahold of her to discuss logistics for our DJ and decor. I was also extremely disappointed with the quality of the food.

Thinking back on our July 31, 2021 wedding, one word comes to mind: Magical. The Wellshire Inn and their staff, Kacey and Sarah, were the magicians that made it possible. We were a Covid-affected wedding, with our original date in November 2020. While everything was going on, the Wellshire was incredibly easy to work with in making new arrangements for our July 2021 postponement. They took a stressful situation and made it as stress free as you can in these times, and to that we are truly grateful. Beyond that, when we finally got to our day, everything was absolutely perfect. This was of course because of their expertise in planning. As a full-service venue, they covered everything with us without it ever getting overwhelming. Then, the day of all we had to do was show up and have fun! They setup everything as asked, the food was delicious, the space was beautiful, and everything went off without a hitch. Cannot thank Kacey, Sarah and the staff enough for helping make it the best day ever!

Chris and Kacey are amazing!!!!! The Wellshire was the best choice we made in the wedding planning process. Throughout the whole pandemic they were so kind and compassionate, very willing to work with us so we could have the wedding we wanted. The food is phenomenal and the staff were great. You will not be disappointed if you have your wedding at the Wellshire! They have it together! We first met with Chris, who by far did the best job of explaining all the Wellshire has to offer and how they operate, and provided a complete, custom quote with various options within one hour of our meeting. Then we worked with Kacey - absolutely the best! Great ideas, great communication (despite COVID), and she and her staff worked hard to make our day perfect! She truly understood what we wanted our day to be, and they brought that vision to life! All of our guests had a great time, and they all said the food was great! Overall, the Wellshire is an excellent venue for just about any occasion, but especially a wedding. Just about everything is included in the total price (i.e., linens, tables/chairs, food....which was delicious and plentiful), on-site coordinator, etc. Not to mention the overall beauty of the facility itself, which saves the need for an abundance of extra décor. We reserved the whole venue for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Covid-19 threw a bit of a monkey wrench into things for a minute, but they did a great job adapting to the changes, and helping us to make the necessary adjustments for our big day, which still turned out beautifully! We didn’t encounter even one unfriendly person on the staff – everyone was very gracious and professional. Of course, no venue is perfect so, there were some small snafus here and there. Most were just small annoyances which were completely forgivable. One issue, however, was pretty major, and is the primary reason for the 3 star rating that I am giving them here. We had two cakes...a 3-tier cake, which was our primary cake....the one that was to be served to the guests, and we had a sheet cake, which was an overflow cake, ONLY to be used if the primary cake ran out. Guess which cake the staff decided to serve? Busy mingling and enjoying our reception and guests, we had no idea what had happened until the end of the night, when the coordinator finally brought it to our attention. We ended up having to take our entire 3-tier cake (huge cake) home with us (see pic.) The only slice taken from it was the one that my husband and I cut for the pictures! Having nowhere to store a cake of that size, we spent the next few days cutting up and peddling cake to our friends and family. Not fun at all....and a huge waste of money! So, for future reference, if you should use this venue, you will likely be pleased, but please know that the every single detail....from where certain items should be placed, to how the cake will be served....should be discussed with the coordinator. Don’t do what we did and assume that they should know better, considering that they’re one of the top wedding venues in the city and that they’ve done this million times. Better safe than stuck with cake!

In my 9.5 years of experience, I was always trained to cut the sheet cake first so there is cake ready for guests immediately after cake cutting (especially with a large cake that can take longer to cut). I went back and checked my notes to make sure I did not miss a specific communication from you in this regard. I did not find anything but again my deepest apology. While I am glad the rest of the wedding went well, I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations on the cake cutting. We hosted our wedding at the Wellshire Event Center this fall, and it went perfectly! From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing, we were very pleased and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the space. It was so helpful to have Kacey as our event coordinator through every step of the process, especially working with all of our other vendors on the day of. We especially loved that we were able to bring our own decorations- pictures, etc. and have Kacey and her team set them up for us. The food and beverage selection was also very good and we appreciated that we were able to customize the menu choices. We would highly recommend this venue!

My husband and I actually found the Wellshire from these reviews on the knot. We saw all the good words and thought, well we should atleast check it out. I am GLAD we did check it out! I can not say enough great words about my experience at the Wellshire. From the moment we met with the manager, we knew that our wedding would be spectacular. The staff is beyond helpful and professional. Kacey was the most helpful wedding coordinator, she made the day even better!!! The venue has a lot of the little details covered, like catering and linens, so my husband and I did not have to think about the little details. The food was delicious and people keep raving about weeks later. I recommend the mashed potatoes, they were my favorite!!! We got married in the glass room and the pictures are gorgeous, I can not wait to frame them! Everything, and I mean everything about our wedding was amazing thanks to the Wellshire. They think of everything you may need and want and create an unforgettable experience. I would recommend this venue to every single engaged couple. We hosted our wedding reception at the Wellshire on January 3rd, 2020. We toured the Wellshire, among several other venues, but were immediately very impressed by the space, the affordable pricing, as well as the professionalism of the staff and the services available to us through the venue. The staff were very honest and gave us lots of good tips and advice based on their event planning experience; they advised us on how to do things in a cost-effective way, rather than pushing more expensive options that would only be of benefit to them. We felt very comfortable knowing that our needs would be met and that our best interest was being upheld when working with Wellshire staff. Included in the price of the venue was Kacey, the on-site coordinator extraoordinaire, who was so helpful and truly instrumental in planning the details of the reception. Our reception went off without a hitch and was so beautiful. The staff were friendly, professional, and took good care of us and our guests. The food was exquisite and all of the guests complimented how delicious everything was. We had approximately 190 guests and had plenty of space for the cocktail hour, seated dinner, and dancing with all of the different spaces the venue has to offer. We cannot think of one thing to complain about and are so happy that we entrusted the Wellshire with our big day! We HIGHLY recommend this venue if you are looking for a perfect setting for your wedding! Thank you so much Kacey and the Wellshire staff, for making our day something we will look back on fondly!

Our wedding day at the Wellshire was everything we could have asked for and more. Kacey and team were on top of everything, and our wedding went off without a hitch. Kacey helped us stick to our wedding day timeline and kept the bridal party organized. I was also so impressed with the decorating of the space. I just handed Kacey my box of decorations, and she decorated the venue better than I could have ever thought to! The staff handled all the clean up, and all we had to do was come back the next day and pick up any of the remaining decorations we wanted - so easy! The food was great, the service was great, and all of our family commented on what a beautiful venue it was. I would definitely recommend the Wellshire to any couple!

The Wellshire was negligent. They lost my guestbook. I told them my guestbook (and accompanying Fujifilm cameras and film) were missing when I picked up my wedding decorations after my Oct 2019 wedding. They insisted friends or family must have it. I checked with family and friends. Nobody had it. My florist was one of the last people at my wedding reception, and she said she offered to pack up my guestbook and bring it to me. Wellshire staff told her they would take care of it all. They did not. My only guess is that the Wellshire either A. Misplaced my guestbook, cameras and film. B. Sent my guestbook, cameras and film home with another bride by accident. C: Accidentally threw away my guestbook, cameras and film. D: Took the cameras. In this scenario, the guestbook probably ended up in the trash. Considering clean up was included in the price of the venue...and that I was paying Wellshire staff to take care of things...none of these options are acceptable. Avoid the heartache. Avoid the Wellshire.

The Wellshire is a beautiful location to host any function - and was perfect for our wedding! We had already looked at a few other locations and were dismayed at the set-up/clean-up restrictions, the food/catering restrictions, and the overall cost of what places were wanting to charge and what they were willing to provide. Wellshire did require that they cater the event, but Chris won us over when he told us that we could invite multiple rugby teams and we wouldn't run out of the hor d'oeuvres or desserts! Kacey was our onsite coordinator and SUPER nice. The food was fantastic - and I have to mention Olga because she was my superhero that day! She made sure to bring my husband and me each tray of the different hor d'oeuvres to ensure that we were eating throughout the reception! Since we had it on a Sunday, we had the venue to ourselves. They let us drop off the decorations the day before and pick everything up the day after - HUGE benefit! We had plenty of room to get ready in the separate bride and groom suites; have the ceremony in the Windsor Room; cocktail hour in the Onyx Lounge; the photo booth, games, and creative corner in the Cambridge Room; and the reception in the Rocky Mountain Pavilion. Plus, we had a beautiful patio and view to enjoy the evening air! I had tons of feedback from our guests about how great the venue was - so I would definitely recommend 100%!!!

Firstly, it is amazing to think about all the logistics that go into the wedding day itself and thus all that needs to be considered and communicated leading up to the day of. All the little things that could go wrong and all the details that need to be considered are overwhelming a lot of the time. Aside of being a stunning venue with amazing food, the Wellshire knows exactly what they are doing. It is a beautiful and unique breath of fresh air that is worlds away from the standard convention hall or rustic farm wedding. They are extremely experienced and have seen so much that they know exactly how to handle any situation. Chris, the owner, cuts to the chase and will tell you exactly what you need to consider and think about. He knows his stuff and it is extremely valuable and helpful to listen to what he has to say. Now on to Kacey, the coordinator. No words can be said to truly capture what she did for us. No matter how prepared you are or how organized.. the day of is nerve wracking. Of all the people we worked with (vendors and all) she was the most pleasant, knowledgeable, detail-oriented and fantastic. She was responsive, helpful and reassuring and a true gem. She was a comfort to us throughout the entire planning process and we couldn’t be happier to have her there for us. I was in awe of her - during the rehearsal me and my loved ones were spitting out last minute, frantic details and requests to her for when, where, what.. all the things. She didn’t write any of it down and in the back of my head, I thought “oh god.. there’s no way she’ll remember any of this”. Well... she did. She was there for us every single second of the way and a huge factor in making our day perfect. She was a comfort and a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be happier.

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue than the Wellshire. We loved that they provided so many services so we didn't have to look for other vendors for catering, bar, rentals, event coordinator, etc. Considering how many venue spaces charge you thousands of dollars for the space alone, the Wellshire saved us an incredible amount of money and stress. Kacey was wonderful to work with as our event coordinator. She was very responsive and had answers to even my most nitty gritty questions. On top of all that, the venue itself is beautiful from the bridal suite, to the ceremony and reception sites, to the grounds. I could not recommend the Wellshire highly enough!

The Wellshire Events Center is a beautiful setting for a wedding but we had severe complications with this venue and are unable to give them high ratings. If you are considering using this venue: Please understand no matter what you hear there will be other events held simultaneously, large banners and signs will be posted in the parking lot with directions to the other events, and there maybe wedding crashers from these events. Understand that there will likely be disappointments with this venue or promises not delivered (for us it was no Tv monitors for the slideshow that had been provided by the bride and groom) and in discussing it with Chris you will experience a lack of concern or you will be blamed. Do check the health inspection reports from the city and county of Denver and do know you will be a accused of fabrication and of making a”serious accusation” if you confront this venue about upsetting sightings of rodents. Do not take alcohol into the bride’s or groom’s room or it will be taken and not returned. Be sure well intended groomsmen and bridesmaids are aware of this policy as it is not posted anywhere. You, as the bride and groom, will be the only ones aware of this policy. This is not an inexpensive venue. Understand that even though you are paying a good amount for this venue , you are not guaranteed a problem free wedding. You won’t be entitled to any type of sincere response from the Head of this venue, Chris. Also be prepared for additional charges on the day of the wedding.

The Wellshire was by far the best venue we found and the best price. The fact that it includes so many little things was an big time saver. The venue comes with a wedding planner too, which is AMAZING!!! Kacey was so helpful throughout the entire process, between offering up suggestions for vendors, ideas for ceremony, etc. We found out that there would be another event the same day as our wedding, which at first really concerned us, however day of, the other event wasn't an issue at all. Honestly none of our guests even know about it. Food was amazing and staff went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable!

We looked at several venues before finding the Wellshire. We wanted a low stress wedding, and a venue that did a lot of the work for us-- The Wellshire did just that! We could not have been more pleased with our wedding at the Wellshire! We searched high & low for cost-efficient venues, and when we initially met with Chris and toured the Wellshire, we were impressed with ALL that they had to offer. From the ceremony & reception spaces to the food, linen selections, and having an on-site wedding coordinator, this was by far the best choice! Since we had a ton of out-of-town guest we also wanted to have everything in one space for convenience. The Wellshire was like a "one-stop shop" providing everything needed for a fantastic wedding! Kacey, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful, and kept us on track throughout the planning process & was always prompt at getting back to us regarding any questions we had. She printed our place cards and uploaded a photo slideshow for us that ran during the cocktail hour & reception which, ALL our guests commented on and loved. Not one hiccup was had during our wedding. The day ran smoothly, and Kacey kept everyone on track from lining up for the ceremony to herding guests for family photos. We HIGHLY recommend the Wellshire for anyone seeking an all-inclusive wedding venue!!

I would highly recommend The Wellshire Event Center to anyone! You really get what you pay for with this place! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here, spread out through the whole facility. There are many beautiful spaces, the food is incredible, and the service is amazing. Kacey was our wonderful planner and day of coordinator, and she did awesome! She really knew what she was doing and executed our vision perfectly. We even gave her all our decor the day before the wedding and the next day when we arrived, it was all setup! We received food and drinks for the bridal party upon arrival in the morning, which was nice as no one had to leave to go pick-up lunch! She even helped meet and coordinate with our vendors (DJ, Cake, Floral, and Officiant- the only vendors you'll need outside of the Wellshire). Everything is all inclusive (wedding coordinator, flatware, linens, lighting, food, etc.) which was perfect for us, as we did not want a multitude of different vendors (way easier!) It was an absolute dream. This venue is beautiful, timeless, romantic, and fun! If you want a stress free wedding that people will talk about for years to come- this is the place. We couldn't have found a better place to celebrate our happily ever after at. From the moment I saw the Wellshire I knew I wanted to get married there. They have different options for ceremony sites and reception rooms. The build is so elegant, cute, and has a historic feel, yet modern in others. We chose to get married outside and brought in our own arch, they were very accommodating and were willing to help with anything and everything. We had our reception in the glass room with the chandlers and it was beautiful. Everything about our wedding day was perfect and people are still taking about our wedding day and venue a few months after. Our pictures turned out great, and overall our experience with the Wellshire was outstanding. I truly wish I could relive the whole process, and day because it was so easy and fun.

The best part though was that the coordinator (Kacey) is a complete rock star. The Wellshire Event Center was perfect for our wedding in July 2018. Kendra was our event coordinator and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to plan and run our wedding. The communication was flawless each step of the way. The food was amazing and the staff is nothing short of professional. It was great to find a venue that includes all of the main items that you need eliminating having to find additional vendors. Where do I begin. From start to finish the Wellshire helped make our wedding perfect! I was an easy bride and didn't want to have to do much or coordinate with many people, the Wellshire made this possible. We worked with Kendra and she was great, always there to answer questions and help us out whenever we needed. During the wedding day she was there to help us out even when we had no idea what we were supposed to be doing, she made they whole even run smoothly. We also got to work with Mike who took over when Kendra left for the evening. He was wonderful too! Always asking how I was and if we were having fun when I saw him and he kept us up to date on our alcohol budget and let us know when we reached our limit. The Wellshire is a stunning venue! And having our wedding on a Sunday we had the whole venue to ourselves which was beyond amazing! The venue didn't need much added decoration at all. We had our ceremony in the tent with an arch they provided which we put some garland around and it was perfect. The reception was in the other large room with lots of windows (I forget the name) and it was arranged beautifully. The food here was delicious as well. Our guests were so impressed with the venue and the food its all we heard about! The waitstaff was nice and fun too, we even got some to dance with us at the very end of the night. I highly recommend the Wellshire to anyone, especially on a Sunday. They provide everything at a very affordable rate and you get the venue for much longer than other places offer. It has a great location too making it easy for in town and out of town guests to find. There was only one thing that could have been improved on, in our contract it says each room (bride a grooms rooms) would get a finger sandwich tray and 6 beers (for the guys) and champagne (for the girls). This was never brought in. Me and my girls were hungry so we asked about the snacks and we got a fruit and cheese tray which was delicious but no champagne and they boys didn't get anything. Just make sure you ask for those if you want them otherwise you won't get them. It wasn't a big deal to us since we didn't need anymore to drink but just something to keep in mind if you book here and want it. It is a minor thing and everything else went great so it didn't bother us.

It was truly a fairy tale night and they helped make that happen and were there through all of the planning and there to offer any and all assistance on the day of. I highly recommend them! BEST VENUE EVER!!! We got married here Sunday April 8th, 2018. I cannot say enough good things about the Wellshire. Sunday is the day to get married. From 2p on we had the entire place to ourselves, and the Bride and Grooms suites from noon on. Kendra was our coordinator and she was so helpful and patient with me. I had a million questions and she answered them all in a timely manner. I love the whole building. The decorations and style and history all made it a very fun place to have our big day. I had so many comments on how amazing it was. Even the bathrooms are awesome!! And The food was Incredible! We had so many positive comments on it all. Best crab cakes and homemade chips with steak we've ever had. Although I missed out on those the day of because of pictures. Everything came out fast and hot and delicious, and the word was there were only two chefs cooking on our night. The rest of the staff was so amazing and helpful. At the end of the night they were off to the side dancing which was so fun. They all worked so hard and still seemed like they really were having a good time. I was confused on the rooms and thought we were supposed to have the ceremony in the tent when they had it set for the Windsor room. They were so nice and accommodating though and let us change it with no problem. So we got married in the Mountain View Pavilion (the tent) and it was perfect. Had a nice view and it was elegant and comfortable. We had a Disney themed wedding and they surprised us with clips of Disney couples and weddings on the TV screens in our cocktail and reception area. That was such a nice surprise. Our reception was in the Cambridge room and they decorated it better than I ever imagined. I gave them 4 totes of decor and 6 boxes of decorated bottles to use and they made it absolutely magical. They even hung my lanterns, best $50 ever spent!! We got to have the bridal suite at noon and it was so fun. It's such a beautiful are, it was big enough to accommodate all of our people and they had champagne and a fruit and cheese tray for us. The Wellshire seriously made this the most Amazing day I've ever had. I want to do it again and again because they made it so easy and flawless!!

Choosing the Wellshire as our venue was a great decision. Kendra, our coordinator was fantastic! From day one, she was professional and prompt with our communication. Our wedding had about 165 in attendance and everyone had a blast. We had the ceremony in the glass room overlooking the golf course and our reception in the other large room. Working with the Wellshire was such a pleasure! From the initial tour to signing the contract to walking down the aisle, everything was upfront, honest, and great quality. Chris guided us through all of our options with professionalism and honesty, which helped us make the best decisions for our wedding and budget. Once we signed our contract, we were paired up with Kendra to help us through our remaining details and to also help us on the day of the wedding. She was amazing at getting us everything before we were there in our planning process so that we had it the second we were ready. (For example, she sent us our seating card options very early in the process so that we could have them when making our wedding colors decision) She was great at answering any questions we had and also coordinating the items we wanted set up at the wedding. The entire wedding day was incredibly smooth, plenty of time in the dressing rooms to get everyone ready, Kendra was great at making sure everyone walked down the aisle in order and on time, and the staff was amazing during the reception. We know our day was so smooth due to their efforts and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts!

AMAZING!! We had our wedding at the Wellshire just days ago and I cannot get over how incredible the food, staff, and service was! Our wedding coordinator was Kendra and she was an absolute godsend. I emailed her almost everyday with questions/concerns and she was to gracious and took care of everything. I am VERY picky when it comes to matters of decor and a styled look and everyone was so accommodating and flexible with the look I wanted to achieve. Kendra even allowed me take their art and accessories down so that I could bring my own (just a heads up, that is subject to other events taking place at the venue). They also allowed us to bring our things a few days ahead and pick them up a few days after instead of getting flustered and trying to do it all in one day. Nothing kills the joy of a wedding more than having to haul all of your wedding decor with you at the end of the night! Our family members and bridal party kept asking why there was so little for them to have to do because the staff was all over it. I loved that all the people that I love could completely relax and not have to frantically run around to set up. The people at the Wellshire truly want you to enjoy every possible moment without worry. We had a relatively modest budget, but what we got in return from this place I would have paid double for! We had our wedding at the Wellshire Event Center. What stood out first was the price. Our coordinator was Kendra and she was very easy to work with. She helped organize every step of our day. The tasting was the hardest part, trying to select from so many delicious foods. We ended up going with the Chicken Parmigiana, Honey Roasted Salmon, and the Pasta di Verdure. Our wedding was on Sunday, which let us have the whole facility from roughly 2:00pm to 11:30pm. We were able to get great photos in the pavilion, chapel, reception area, and the bridal and groom suites. The groom's suite had a TV and cable box, and my groomsmen and I were easily able to bring in a console to game on while we were waiting for the start of the event.

We loved having our wedding at the Wellshire Event Center. They took care of everything from set up to keeping the wedding party on schedule. They had lots of options to help us having the wedding of our dreams within our budget. The food was amazing and the venue itself was beyond beautiful. I cannot express how instrumental the staff at the Wellshire was to making my wedding the day I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. I highly recommend the Wellshire to any bride looking to have a beautiful and stress free wedding.

The Wellshire Event Center is the PERFECT place to have your wedding! Not only is Kendra, the day of coordinator, extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process, but it is a gorgeous venue that your guests will love. We got married there on Jan. 6, 2018, and Kendra really made sure everything went smoothly and exactly how we wanted in. She even special-ordered specific wines we wanted at the bar. The building itself is charming and sits on a golf course, so plenty of acreage for your photographer to take photos on. We spent the entire morning there getting ready (4 hours!), and both the bridal suite and the groom suite were plenty big enough for our wedding party. Finally, the venue is very reasonably priced. Not to mention, a plated dinner is actually CHEAPER at the Wellshire... a fancier experience for less! Everything about the Wellshire is wonderful- the staff, the location, the architecture, the food, the drinks- you can't go wrong hosting your wedding here!

We had our wedding at The Wellshire last month (November 2017). I cannot say enough great things about The Wellshire and their staff. From our very first visit to the day after the wedding, everything about the venue was perfect. Every single person that we talked to, ran into while walking around, and worked with was extremely friendly and helpful. Kendra, our wedding coordinator was AMAZING! Throughout the whole planning process, she was so great to work with and made planning enjoyable. She made me feel like ours was the only wedding that she was working on, was always available to help with any questions and provided all of the information that we needed in a timely manner. I also really appreciated all of her help on the day of - she did really great job of herding (cats) our wedding party, keeping everyone on track and making sure that my husband and I ate, and always had a drink in hand! We would have been lost without her! The venue and the golf course are gorgeous - the building has so much character it hardly needs any decorating, which was a big plus! The food was delicious and the portions were huge! All of the staff on the night of was absolutely fabulous and friendly and helped make it the best night ever! As far as cost goes, I spent a lot of time researching prices for a ton of venues in the area, and I feel 100% confident in saying that The Wellshire was absolutely the best deal of anything that I looked at. We toured a few other venues and I felt like we would have been nickeled-and-dimed everywhere else; a charge for the chairs, napkins, glasses, champagne toast, tables, etc... It is all included at The Wellshire and it was such a great deal. Anything comparable at another venue would have cost at least 4 times what we ended up paying at The Wellshire. Add in the amazing service, and our wedding really was a steal! The whole evening went off without a hitch, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. I speak for my husband and both sets of our parents when I say that The Wellshire is the BEST and we are so happy that we will always have the memories of our special day there!

The Wellshire Event Center made everything so easy breezy for my wedding. It's a one-stop shop. Venue, food, linens, plates, chairs, and everything you need for your wedding reception in one place. We had our ceremony offsite, but there's plenty of space to hold a ceremony there. Our reception was in the Mountain View Pavilion and was the perfect setting for our romantic themed wedding. While it was unseasonably warm for a November, our wedding day weather ended up being pretty spot on for November, 48 degrees, so our cocktail hour was indoors. There's a great outdoor area for guests should weather permit. But having the entire reception indoors was just beautiful. Kendra was our coordinator and was so attentive from the get go. She made everything clear and nothing ever got confusing. We paid our deposits, had our tasting, and didn't need to worry about anything until a few weeks beforehand. That's what's so great about Wellshire. You don't need to worry about booking a caterer or renting your linens; it's all done for you. I will note a few things: 1. After the tasting I was a little worried about how the food would be presented because it all comes out on one tray, so you aren't able to see the presentation. Also, the food at the tasting was a bit cold. But the day of the wedding, everything was perfect! The presentation was fabulous and the portions were perfect. We ended up picking a third dish that we didn't sample/taste, and even that was perfect! Our guests raved about the food. 2. Don't worry about asking too many questions! The staff at the Wellshire is awesome and will accommodate your needs. 3. I was able to drop off my center pieces and other items for the reception the night before. I'm sure this is on a case by case basis depending on the availability of space, but it was such a relief to not have to worry about that stuff the day of. 4. We were not served our champagne toast that was part of our menu package. It was really disappointing, but the Wellshire took full responsibility for the mistake and promptly reduced our final bill. 5. I thought our desserts were served too early and that resulted in guests leaving earlier than expected. So I think it's important you layout a precise timeline with the Wellshire staff. I wanted to make sure and give a 5-star review in spite of the few critiques I have because this place really is special. We looked at so many venues, and we kept coming back to the Wellshire. It's a beautiful space, the food is delicious, and the pricing is very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend this venue!

The Wellshire is amazing!! We are so happy we had our wedding there - from the first time we visited through the wedding day itself the entire staff was so incredible and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Our coordinator, Kendra, was fantastic to work with - she was so responsive and extremely helpful in answering all our questions, offering great suggestions, and on the wedding day she was seriously the best. She kept everyone organized, quickly solved any little problems that popped up, and was just super friendly and nice. The space was beautiful, and really matched the feel we wanted for our wedding. The food was wonderful (and we've received a ton of compliments from guests) - we did the plated dinner and all the food was served really fast, was hot and delicious when served, and the portions were great. We also had a number of guests with dietary restrictions and the Wellshire had really nice options for each of them (one of our vegan friends was raving about how tasty the meal was and how nice it was to not worry about if there would be food she could eat). The whole team really does an incredible job. Thanks for making our day so perfect!

So the biggest perk of hosting our wedding and reception at the Wellshire was absolutely the fact that they provide you with a coordinator at no extra charge. We worked with Ashlee and she was WONDERFUL. She stayed in constant contact throughout the planning process, making sure to check on even the smallest details as we got closer to the big day; this was SO appreciated as a bride because oftentimes the little things can get lost in the grand scheme of planning such a big event. We had a very large wedding - 240 guests - and Ashlee was beyond helpful in offering various room arrangements, timeline adjustments, and general ideas to accommodate that many guests in a seamless, easy way. The day of the wedding she checked in regularly with myself and the groom to make sure we had everything we needed while also coordinating all the set-up and her own staff. Working with Ashlee made the planning process and day of 10x easier than it would have been without her help. Another upside to the Wellshire was that we had the whole venue virtually all day; the wedding was at 5 but we were able to be in the bridal and groom's suites as early as 10:30 which made getting ready and set up less stressful than having to change locations. They also allow guests to enjoy the reception as late as 11:30 unlike many venues that say you have to be OUT by 11. (Our guests were having so much fun they even stayed until 12 and no one at Wellshire had any issue or charged us more for that!) Really the only issue we ran into was that some of the meat was overcooked, but that was in part because our timeline was running late. Ashlee remedied this by crediting us back some of our payment to make up for it which was very appreciated. The real issue here however was that when this concern was mentioned, the owner Chris was dismissive and rude to the mother of the bride when she voiced her concern - not a very professional way to treat a customer who just spent a LOT of money at your facility. Overall however we had a great experience at the Wellshire and would absolutely recommend working with Ashlee to anyone who can!!

We checked out a handful of venues for our wedding and Wellshire had it all! We didn’t have to bring in our own caterers or equipment rentals. They have a full service bar and plenty of options for us. My husband really appreciated the plated meal, adds a little more of a personal touch. We were impressed with the appetizer, meal, and dessert choices. We had our ceremony outside and was very impressed that the Wellshire provided umbrellas for our guests. The reception was in the big white room and it was absolutely beautiful and plenty of room for our guests. Kendra was very helpful and always replied to my emails in a timely manner. All of our guests loved the food, the venue, the atmosphere overall. I love the Wellshire, it is very classy, organized well, and friendly staff.

We had our August 4th wedding at the Wellshire and couldn't be more pleased! The venue is gorgeous, the food was FANTASTIC with large portions, and the process from beginning to end was stress-free. All of our guests raved about the food. If you can, upgrade and get the draped ceiling fabric in the Cambridge Room for the reception. It was so beautiful. We shopped around for a beautiful venue that didn't cost a fortune and this was it! The wedding coordinators were chill and made us feel relaxed during the rehearsal as well as the ceremony.

Above and beyond!!! The Wellshire is one of the first venues that I looked at and I just knew it would be the location for our wedding. Once my husband saw it he also fell in love. The Wellshire is filled with classic charm and it was absolutely perfect for us. Kendra was our planner at the Wellshire and my go to. She took care of everything and made sure it was exactly as I visioned it would be. I contacted Kendra on several occasions with little things I had forgotten and she had already thought of them and had us covered. I could not have asked for a better planner. The staff was amazing and took great care of all our guests. I had rave reviews from all of them. The food, location, parking, and rooms everything was perfect! I didn't think I would even spend much time eating as the bride usually doesn't but once I tasted the food I had to, it was delicious! The bridal suite was wonderful and spacious for us to get ready in as was the grooms suite. We had both our reception and ceremony here in June and loved our day! The venue is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the cost is extremely reasonable for all that is included! We visited several venues and the things included in the price beat every other place we visited. From our first meeting to the actual day, the staff continued to demonstrate professionalism and dedication to holding great events. I was able to ask questions throughout and appreciated the organization of the staff to ensure everything was completed. They were also very accommodating for other vendors and willing to work with their delivery/pick-up needs. I don't think I ever heard "no" or was neglected through the process. We had few, if any, "bumps" along the way, which was very reassuring leading up to the day. My only complaints are the 30-minute delay to start our rehearsal and the departure of our coordinator in the middle of the reception. We had scheduled our rehearsal at 1:00, but did not begin until 1:30 due to our coordinator meeting with another couple, which was challenging due to the large group we had with us and the lack of communication around this conflict. I also did not recall the coordinator telling me that she would leave the wedding before the end, which was a bit a surprise and not ideal to be meeting a random person who was "in charge" for the remainder of the night. Despite these complaints, I would highly recommend this venue. The minor significance of these complaints I believe demonstrates that this venue is a great option for your wedding.

Everything was great for our wedding! The service was excellent.Some things however were promised to us in the beginning that were not followed through at the end such as a tour of the grounds of where to take pictures (gave us a golf cart but would've like to have someone show us good spots so we weren't in any golfers way), and letting us keep our stuff at the venue for a few days after our event to pick up ( we were told a couple weeks before our wedding we had to take stuff either the night after wedding or morning after). Overall if you are looking for an all in one place for your wedding I would recommend the Wellshire! It's a beautiful venue with great history!

We got married at the Wellshire on 10/24/2016. The Wellshire staff are very knowledgeable regarding weddings and events. It was 100% worth the cost. We did not feel as though we were nickel and dime-ed. There were a lot of little items (choice of color table cloth, champagne toast, coordinator for the facility, appetizers and drinks for the wedding party before the ceremony, dessert bar and appetizers for the guests, dace floor, center pieces for the tables, lights, chandelier, etc) that were included in the price we paid. We also greatly appreciated that we had more than enough space for everyone. We were planning on about 150-200 people. It was not easy finding a venue for a reasonable price for that size group. The staff were very responsive to flexible. We did not feel like a number. Ashlee who coordinated our wedding, made us feel as though we were the only couple she was assisting. The Wellshire exceeded expectations in all areas. I would suggest everyone who is planning a wedding to take a tour of the Wellshire.

Todd made our wedding so stress free! He made sure every detail was taken care of. He coordinated the day with all of our other vendors so I had nothing to worry about. He was prompt to answer all emails and responded to all the questions we had. The Wellshire was a great venue. Our event manager was Ashlee and she's one amazing woman! I could reach out to her anytime with a question or concern and get a response quickly. The day of was incredible. We chose this venue for our June outdoor wedding after visiting close to 20 facilities. I loved the rustic look and feel but worried (secretly) about their ability to be classy in that old of a building...I worried (secretly) about whether they could actually house 120 people comfortably....the did both of these with perfection....me and my wife funded our entire wedding by ourselves and that was a big determining factor in our decision of which facility we would choose....we met with one of the head guys originally and he got the hook out and began sinking it....he was very kind, very knowledgable, and very understanding of our budget concerns...we were excited and happy so we signed....we wouldn't see this guy again until our wedding night(I really apologize, neither me nor my wife can recall his name, you'll understand why if you keep reading).... We were assigned a coordinator and met with her (Ashlee Kruger)....as we began to work with Ashlee and plan our wedding we were taken back by her knowledge in the industry and expertise but yet her humility and desire for us to design our wedding how we wanted it....we both would constantly direct to Ashlee as we were making decisions as "the expert" because this is both of me and my wifes first marriage but we had to push for her to make a decision that her expertise knew was best....she did extremely well of taken our one or two word answers and creating exactly what we wanted....we worked with her for about 15 months on our wedding and the whole time she was easily accessible, every call we made was returned within 24 hours and every email was answered within a few hours....the day of our wedding Ashlee was remarkable....we never once felt overwhelmed with needs and desires of our wedding party or family, Ashlee handled them all and was awesome....two of our wedding party members told me specifically toward the end of the evening "I don't know how much you paid for Ashlee but she was worth every penny"!!!!!! Lastly and also importantly the food received high honors from all of our guests....We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you consider Wellshire for your wedding, it was affordable and absolutely beautiful and absolutely perfect!!!!!! What an amazing evening....it was everything me and my wife had ever dreamed it would be and then some.....THANK YOU WELLSHIRE but mostly THANK YOU ASHLEE!!!!!!!!!

We had our wedding at the Wellshire in March. From the moment we met with the Wellshire staff, we were so impressed. Their professionalism stood out to us. We loved how they wanted to make this our day and were willing to work with any request we might have. The staff was with us every step of the way. I have a gluten allergy and the chef was wonderful about not only accommodating my allergy, but making delicious gluten free options for myself and my guests. The food at the reception was definitely a hit. All my guests loved the food. It was definitely much higher quality than most wedding food. The day of the wedding was perfect. Everything went off just as we planned and the place was gorgeous. The staff did an amazing job of taking care of the wedding party, the guests, and all the little details. We highly recommend the Wellshire!

We had my daughters wedding at the Wellshire March of 2016. It was amazing, along with every person we came in contact with at this event center. Ashlee walked us through every detail, she was patient , kind and was never too busy to answer our questions. From the first time we went to this venue, everyone was attentive to our needs.. From Chris, the owner, to our event planner, the wait staff and chef, each person went out of the way to make our daughters wedding wonderful. The grounds and buildings are beautiful, the menu selection is amazing, and the food is spectacular. All of our guest loved their food. I can't say enough about this venue and highly recommend it.

My husband and I decided to create a new tradition and get married where his parents did. I could not be happier with this decision. The venue was gorgeous and the staff was excellent. The coordinators and the manager, worked very hard to make sure I did not need to worry about anything. I planned my wedding without a wedding planner and with the Wellshire you don't need it. The food was perfect and will be talked about for years to come by my guests and the overall flexibility of this venue earns it 5 stars. This is a venue you and your spouse-elect (Congrats!!!) should at a minimum place on your short list of places to visit in person. Because wedding planning and selecting a venue is all budget and gut feelings, if the two marry to let you say, "This is the place" then let me say to you, "Smart move." From there, Todd (Wellshire Events Coordinator), will effortlessly, and always with a positive, solution-oriented attitude, guide the two of you through all the T crossing and I dotting. He is timely and clear in communication, flexible on timetables and fine details, and is, simply, The Man. The building staff is friendly, professional, and there wasn't a person I asked a random question or favor to who didn't help us. The food is absolutely on point. Their menu selections are tremendous so I can't speak to everything, but we did a tapas style of dinner and everything was great - which we already knew after the wonderful (and filling) tasting they put on for my wife and I. I should note here, they do not officially have a Tapas menu, however; just one example of many of Todd and The Wellshire going out of their way to help us create our vision. We held our reception in their permanent pavilion and it is easily accessible for DJ's to set up equipment. The Pavilion is right on the golf course and when you're outside on the patio you get beautiful views of their golf course and the mountains. There were no issues with payment and no surprises either - how they compute a final number is a precision process there and you will feel comfortable and confident with both parties agreeing to what's what. Honestly, if I could do it all over again - I would do it all over again. Everything was wonderful from start to finish, top to bottom. You should schedule a tour with Todd and experience it for yourself.

My wife and I had our reception back in June, and what an awesome party it was! We rolled into the reception (in the tent) on a golf cart for our grand entrance, had a plated dinner (best scallops!), and then a live band...again, a great party (which the bar tab reflected) that we still get wonderful comments from our guests...plus the pictures at sunset on the golf course made for a great photo album.

We had our ceremony and reception here in August. I love, love, love the building. It's so unique and absolutely stunning. We felt comfortable asking questions throughout the process, and we felt respected and valued. We loved the staff. Even with so much going on, their professional and friendly demeanor stuck out. Everything was delicious, especially the cake, which was made by an in-house French pastry chef. There's a welcoming atmosphere... you don't feel like just another wedding. And while our experience at Wellshire was excellent in many ways, I think that is what made it so great.

We had our wedding at The Wellshire Event Center. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. We used the Pavilion and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was outstanding and the staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day the most special day of our lives, and that it was. The day we were married ended up being the hottest day of the year, and to be honest, I cannot even remember the heat, this is mostly because the whole event was flawless and perfect - and the temperature in the Pavilion was comfortable even due to the summer heat. The venue played a huge part in the success of our whole wedding weekend and the amount of our guests who are still talking about the venue is testament to that. I would highly recommend The Wellshire Event Center for any type of event.

This team is amazing! From the very first interview to the big day, they made sure everything was in order and things ran smoothly. The grounds are gorgeous for photo opportunities, and there is a wide range of rooms to choose from. The Bridal Room is exquisite and nice retreat to gather your thoughts before the reception. We held our reception in their Pavilion which they decorated perfectly. They have lights in the ceiling that they change to match your colors, and it is heated/air conditioned so your guests will always be comfortable. The team itself is comprised of great people who want your day to be perfect. They will do anything they can to help make it so. They will ask questions you may have forgotten to think about. And they will take care of things so you don't have to worry at all. You are in trusted hands with The Wellshire.

The Wellshire was a stunning location for my September wedding. At the beginning of my wedding planning, I was torn between another venue and The Wellshire and I'm so thankful and happy that I ultimately picked the latter. Todd Seymour was more than I could have ever asked for as an event coordinator. The word "flexible" doesn't begin to do him justice...he does not panic or show anxiety, he is a problem-solver through and through. When I had changes and questions, he was quick to get in touch with me and if he was unsure about a request of mine, he'd work with his staff or with management to accommodate me. I was a bride from Colorado, living in Texas, planning a traditional Catholic ceremony, with a strong military presence (my husband is active-duty Army). Not only that, but I was on a tight budget. The Wellshire personnel and event staff are not only aware of brides like me, but they're more than willing to create an event atmosphere that is timelessly classic and elegant, without breaking the bank. Do-it-yourself venues seem more attractive in the beginning of planning because they are less expensive. However, the hidden costs and the last-minute stress were areas I wanted to avoid. Since the venue was our largest expense, I chose a location that was going to be THE BEST VALUE. I was not disappointed and many of my guests thought that my wedding budget was double the actual because of my reception. The waitstaff and service the night of the event was remarkable. Darren Pettapiece is the event manager for the day-of, and he was friendly, helpful and was the reason for a seamless and smooth transition throughout the night. If you're not considering The Wellshire as an event location, you should! The value is unmatched and the event staff is second to none. Thank you, Todd and Darren!!!

While we had to move our ceremony to a different location, Todd and Deven were very helpful in making sure to answer all my questions and concerns to make sure that my dreams would not suffer because of the move. On the day of the wedding, the food was not as wonderful as it was for the tasting but all of the servers were wonderful and had great positive attitudes.
