This venue fit us perfectly with its downtown, vintage vibe. Overall we were happy with communication and the final event. Natalia responded promptly although much of the management was done through their catering company. The inside of the venue was clean and had great potential with the two ballrooms, staircase and fireplace. Improvements to the outside could be made but part of that is the character of the building. We brought in two topiaries for the front door entrance that helped with curb appeal. We loved the marquee with ours names on it was a personal touch. Two other things that made it hard were we were only allowed in the space one time before our rehearsal for planning. We were allowed one hour for the rehearsal and since we were late, it was about 45 minutes as another tour was coming in. That would have just been our fault but the AV person was supposed to meet us and was a no show. Our DJ had a phone call with them but there did end up being AV issues on our wedding day. Nothing major but things could have been better on that end. All in all, I would recommend this venue!
I run a large young professionals of Portland program in Portland, Oregon and in June had the pleasure of holding our event at the West End Ballroom. This place is beautiful (and has such a cool/historic backstory) and Natalia, Tiffani and the whole crew at Urban Venues were amazing to work with. They were responsive, helpful, and offered lots of fun suggestions. The venue itself is lovely, and the event featured pretty decor like various floral arrangements, centerpieces, and even had casino tables and a photo booth. The food and bartending services were also great. While this event was not a wedding, I can only imagine that this would be perfect for that- or a fundraising gala, prom, etc. If you are looking to host an event in Portland, no matter the vibe or size I can recommend the West End Ballroom highly enough, and the Urban Venues folks are a dream team. *also, this place has a cool old movie marquee outside, and they will put your event it for passersbys- giving it a fun old Hollywood feel*!
The West End / Pearl Catering Team was wonderful to work with for a recent wedding. As a planner, I found the venue to be phenomenal to work with from effective, helpful, knowledgeable staff to ease of access in the venue. There are so many ways for bar, catering and staff to get from room to room without being seen by guests which I really appreciated. The team was flexible and lovely to work with! Looking forward to being back in the space!
This venue will be everything you have dreamed of AND MORE! Natalia and Ashley made every step from booking to coordination day of AMAZING. The West End Ballroom is the perfect Downtown Portland location, without having to deal with the hotel prices and food of a downtown wedding. We looked at 9 downtown Portland locations and this was the BEST option. As very iconic building, the West End offers two spacious ballrooms. We got married upstairs and had dinner/reception upstairs, downstairs we used as a cocktail hour area. We had NO issues. The venue provides lighting, audio and a dance floor. The west end met our every need, from hosting a band to bringing in our own cake. Since they partner with Pearl Catering, the venue and catering make everything easy for you. Natalia and Ashley are there for you for any questions you have, day and night! We have this venue a 10/10!!
The West End Ballroom exceeded expectations for our wedding day! Once I stepped in the doors I knew that's where I wanted to get married. We used the lower Ballroom for a romantic ceremony and the large upper Ballroom for the reception. Everything went off without a hitch and most of that is attributable to the staff working! Special shout out to Ashley who worked tirelessly to help me get all the ducks in a row!
Best day of our lives !!! We really enjoyed your wedding day here at The West End. We had our cocktail hour downstairs and hired a mariachi. We also used their in house caterer and it was so nice to have passed hor d’oeuvers while we had live music. After cocktail hour, our guests were invited upstairs for dinner and reception. I wanted to be very hands off since all of our guests were from out of state so it was perfect to have a day of coordinator who set up our sweets table and kept us on schedule. We danced the night away with plenty of space to mingle. All of our guests loved our food and the space. Hands down the best choice we made :)
At the time, my fiancé and I toured about over 5 or 6 venues, but nothing felt right until we came upon The West End Ballroom. I, the bride, at the time, fell in love with it and knew I wanted to walk down the aisle at this venue. Of course, COVID happened, and we were not able to get married in 2020, but it all worked out in the end.
I love how the venue had it's own characteristics. I'm a minimalist, so less decor, the better. A lot of guests loved the venue as well and there was plenty of parking.
Our wedding was the beginning of September, so towards the end of summer, it was pretty hot that day, over 80 degrees, the venue had AC, it worked great in the ceremony and ballroom, but near the windows/fireplace was a bit warm, other than that, I don't regret not having my wedding there even with the one year postponement.
This venue is gorgeous! There are so many options for a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception within the many spaces and rooms. The small side alley is super unique as well. Natalia, and Meagan on the catering side, have been very helpful, friendly, and communicative throughout our planning process and postponement. Our initial wedding date was June 2020, and Natalia made the shift to a new date extremely smooth.
The West End Ballroom was a fabulous venue for our January wedding. We wanted a wedding downtown Portland, with a warm and elegant feel and I could not have been more pleased with the venue and the staff! Natalia was fabulous and was very attentive and so easy to work with. Meagan with Pearl Catering was very organized and wonderful to work with as well. Her execution the day of the wedding was outstanding. The food and set up were phenomenal. Our guests were very complimentary and some said the best wedding food they have ever had. My family and I cannot be more grateful for their expertise and desire to make our wedding so special. It truly was “The best day ever”. Thank you West End Ballroom and Pearl Catering for being part of our Wedding Team!
As a wedding planner in Portland, I really like the West End. It has a classic and updated historical ambiance. Natalia is just fantastic to work with and she takes such amazing care of my clients. The West End is great for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties - really any type of gathering. If you want something unique and fun - the West End is the place!
I am professional wedding photographer in Portland, and I LOVE shooting at the West End Ballroom. The historic building is photo worthy itself, but when you add a love story it becomes pure magic! I have been photographing at the West End for years, and it has truly transformed. While it has always been beautiful, the recent renovations have made this venue one of my favorite places to photograph weddings. There are so many options with this space to fit a variety of weddings, big to small. From the fireplace room, to the grand ballroom and back alley way, this is one of the most visually inspiring venues I have photographed in my career.
Aside from my love of the venue, the outstanding staff is what really makes the West End stand out. I have been privileged to work with Natalia Barwegen many times over the years and the experience is always memorable. She is the perfect balance between professional and FUN, which has put my couples at ease for their big day. I can’t recommend the West End Ballroom enough!
My fiancé and I had to postpone our November wedding to next spring due to COVID-19 and other unforeseeable life events. However, the West End Ballroom has been an absolute DREAM to work with! Natalia is unbelievably kind and has gone out of her way to make sure the postponement went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better result to a difficult situation. The West End team has made us even more excited that we chose their location!
I just wanted to thank you again for all you did for our wedding. We had so many compliments about the venue and the food provided by Pearl Catering and everything that The West End provided. You guys were all beyond great and Logan and I can't thank you enough for making our day so memorable. And thank you so much for working so hard on the bridal suite! It was a perfect set up for the day and we had a blast getting ready in there! So thank you again for everything and making this planning process go so smoothly!
We had our wedding reception at the West End Ballroom on April 26th 2018 and it was amazing!!!. Working with Natalia was great!! She kept the lines of communication open so that we could have the wedding of our dreams. We used the bottom space as our cocktail hour and the upstairs ballroom as our reception area. The whole building was gorgeous and elegant we could not have asked for a more beautiful space. The included up lighting really set the ambiance and lit up marquee was so unique and charming. Natalia and the West End ballroom were flexible and willing to accommodate our ideas and make this wedding awesome. During the night of the wedding Natalia was present and attentive making sure everything went well. We are so grateful for the awesome wedding and the great experience we had.
I loved that it was one big blank slate to make beautiful. I loved the seperate ceremony and reception space. The staff were great!
The West End Ballroom was the perfect venue for our mid size (115 guests) reception. The lower ballroom was the perfect intimate setting for our ceremony. Minimal decoration was needed to make it look elegant and romantic. The upper ballroom was such a great spot for having dinner and dancing, with the foyer upstairs being the perfect spot for guests to socialize before the reception or during dancing.
We are so happy we picked The West End Ballroom. Having an indoor venue with this much space and customization is great to have when getting married in Portland!
Our wedding at the West End was more beautiful than we could have ever imagaimed. From our first meeting to the dress rehearsal, the ladies at the West End were so helpful and responsive. They made sure we had everything we needed and responded to our endless emails in a very timely manner. The people and the venue are hands down amazing. We feel we made the best choice choosing the West End and our guests also thought very highly of the venue. The venue allows you to decorate it the way you want which makes every wedding there unique and special!
From our initial tour of the venue through to our wedding day, Jennifer, Amber, and Lauren with West End Ballroom were nothing short of amazing. They guided my wife and I through every stage of the process, including connecting us with Susan at the Portland Clinic across the street to rent their lot for our guests, and we can't thank them enough for connecting us with our incredible caterers, Catering Beyond Borders, and Powers Photography Studios, easily the best photography studio in Portland!
The venue itself is stunning both inside and out, and, being a former movie theatre, suited both our guest count and our Bollywood theme perfectly. We had been committed to having our ceremony outdoors, only utilizing one of West End's two ballrooms for our reception but, after the confusing, convoluted nightmare of working with Portland Parks and Recreation and their long list of nonsensical rules and regulations, we opted to have our ceremony there, as well, and Lauren and her team were happy to accommodate us at no additional cost.
They were beyond kind, even going so far as to stay camped at the front door the whole evening to ensure no uninvited guests wandered in and helping us, our family, guests, and caterers clean up at the end of the evening. We couldn't have been happier with our experience at the West End Ballroom and thank them for hosting our wedding and making it even better than we could have imagined!
We had our wedding in August - so having an indoor venue was perfect for the heat! We loved the vintage feel and how convenient it is to have the ceremony and reception in the same location (especially for out-of-town guests). Lauren was our contact and she was amazing! Quick to respond to questions and had great suggestions for a couple who didn't know a whole lot about weddings and getting married. We booked at the end of last summer and was offered some cool end-of-summer discounts - which helped! You can really go all out in making the space your own, or keeping it simple and it still looks elegant. It was also really cool to have the marquee personalized to whatever you liked. It was just the right size for our 90 guests - not too spacious and not too cramped. If you're looking for a cool, vintage, Portland feel venue - definitely check out The West End Ballroom!
Perfect place for a PNW wedding! We loved the space and everyone was very easy to work with, thanks for a great time!
Such an absolutely beautiful place to have any kind of event. It is affordable and simply perfect!
Lauren was great, the venue is gorgeous! Take a tour! You won't regret it! Thank you so much for all you lovely people did!
Once we saw the West End Ballroom, we knew we had found our venue! Our wedding was 10/29/2016 and you never know what the weather may be like at the end of October so we loved that everything was inside as well as that the ceremony and reception space was in the same place. The venue has a very classy elegance by itself so it doesn’t need much decoration but it is also neutral enough that you could do whatever theme/decorations you wanted in the space.
Our venue coordinator Lauren was wonderful! She answered all my emails completely and in a very timely manner and always had suggestions if I was a little lost for some of our decisions.
Everything turned out perfect the day of the wedding and I can’t say thank you enough!!
The only downside to the venue is that it is not ADA accessible. Bonus though – we were able to rent out the parking lot across the street (the parking lot for the Portland Clinic) so that our guests did not have to worry about trying to park downtown Portland on a Saturday night.
Lauren and the west end ballroom staff was amazing!!!! I could not say enough to say how perfect our wedding day was and how perfect the west end ballroom was. They made the day effortless, flawless and beautiful :) can't thank them enough and I would recommend the location to anyone and everyone.
It's love at first sight when you enter this venue! Worked perfectly for our wedding and Reception. Ambience is paramount here and we were able to create a beautiful setting without having to add a whole lot of decor to make it feel special. Lauren has top notch response time which helped prevent stress. They have some inflexible decor rules to preserve the ballroom, etc....so be sure to inquire before planning. If you have elderly or physically challenged guests, please keep in mind there is no elevator to reach the ballroom on the 2nd floor. We loved the experience and setting and hope you enjoy making memories here, as well. ♡ Rachel & Alphonso
In love with this venue.
I just got married here and can't express enough how beautiful and stunning this venue is.
Every room is BEAUTIFUL .
Our pictures came out amazing.
Lauren helped us along our whole journey and she is so amazing, sweet, and helpful.
She was available every time I needed her and was so easy to communicate with.
I HIGHT recommend this venue to anyone looking. I honestly couldn't be happier with the decision to get married here.
When we were originally looking for a venue, we came across West End online, and the pictures seemed nice. The draw initially was that the ceremony and reception could be held in the same building, in two separate spaces: no room flip, and no awkward transporting the guests from one venue to another.
The best thing about the venue is it's simple beauty. Both the downstairs and upstairs rooms are gorgeous, but can also be used as a blank slate to create your perfect vision. If you don't want to add much, the 1920s beauty will fill the room; or you can do what we did, and build your dream space.
My husband loved the logistics, and I loved the vision the space gave me. We used the downstairs room for our ceremony, decorated with lighting (candles and uplighting). The upstairs lounge area was where we held the cocktail hour, and then the ballroom was where we held the reception. Guests could enjoy a breeze on the balcony, or hang out in the cool alleyway (which is gorgeous for photos). Everyone was floored with the space, and were glad to be able to park in one place for the whole day (there is a parking lot across the street $5 all day parking).
Working with the staff (shout out to Lauren, Travis, Amber, and Erin) was great. They answered all our questions immediately, were very sweet, and helped make the day go seamlessly. Getting everything set up with other vendors coming and going was very easy and they had no problems with us bringing in a few extra decorations to set up last minute on our own.
Price-wise we were so happy. For two rooms, for ten hours, on a Monday, and booking within two weeks after visiting the venue we got some great discounts! Payment was easy, and we paid the full amount early just to get it out of the way.
Keep in mind, you buy wine through the West End or pay a fee for outside wine. For us it wasn't too much of an issue, because the price wasn't bad, and we could bring in as much beer as we wanted.
Over all, we loved it all!
We loved the West End from the moment we stepped inside. The historical building has beautiful architecture and historical charm which made for great photography. We needed very little decorations.
Highly recommend for a beautiful downtown venue that worked for both ceremony and reception. Romantic ceremony downstairs, great party up! It's a very convenient and rare offering to have the 2 ballrooms plus a great landing for cocktail hour. The look of the space is much more romantic and charming than any of the other Portland spaces we considered. Relatively speaking, pricing is reasonable, and getting to bring in your own beer and champagne is great (didn't love the venue's wine that we had to use, but it was ok).
We worked Lauren at West End during the planning process. She kept us well informed and was wonderfully helpful with all my silly little questions. We didn't have any hiccups from initial meeting - day of. Also, ask about their preferred coordinator to make your day worry free.
Thanks to everyone at West End for making our day so wonderful!
West End Theater was the ideal location for my wedding in Portland. Great location with easy parking. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL and full of charm. The ceremony space downstairs and upstairs lobby and ballroom made the transition to the reception excellent with no need for a "flip" as most spaces require. Lauren and Jennifer were easy to work with and had great follow-up to all my emails. The wine you purchase through West End is delish!
Best part is having your names in lights on their theater marquee!
We were just married at West End, and it was a great venue. My husband really enjoyed the fact that it's a historical building and they have not made many changes from the old theater it once was. There were a couple glitches here and there, but it's a wedding, nothing is ever 100% smooth =)
Lauren is a sweetheart, and was very prompt in getting back to us when we had a question.
I highly recommend booking with Powers Photography, which is a sister company to WEB!
Most beautiful venue(which is why I chose it!!) on the spendy side as well, and they only allow you 8 hour, NOT the whole day! For set up, the wedding, AND clean up! If you ask they'll allow you an extra two hours, but man oh man were we rushed and my family didn't get to enjoy the before wedding time and we did not get all the family photos we wanted due to them
Rushing the set up! We also rented the photo booth and the attendant did not give us all our photos and they messed up the disc we were given and we also got another bridal party's disc as well and 3 weeks later no response to my email I sent them to tell them! They are a fancy place but the out come does not always represent it!
A wonderful space in the downtown Portland area. The interior has both a modern and vintage vibe, and the neutral color palate works with whatever wedding colors you choose.
Having the ceremony space held separate from the reception area (but still in the same building) allows your guests to get into party mode instantly!
The venue representative that we worked with was responsive, helpful, and very professional. She made sure that our wedding happened without any problems.
Amazing venue, everything I hoped for and more! It was so awesome to have the two ballrooms for a smoother transition. The staff is great as well, would highly recommend this venue!
As soon as my now husband and I walked into Vista Hills, we knew we had to get married here. From the treehouse tasting room to the grounds and vineyard, everything is absolutely magical. We absolutely enjoyed getting married here. I cannot tell you how perfect our wedding day was just because we got married here with all of our close friends and family. The wine is also amazing. We're happy to be wine club members and plan to be the rest of our lives - just to have an excuse to go visit where we pledged our lives as one together and have some tasty wine ;)
The moment I saw this place I knew it was where we wanted to get married. After showing my fiancee the pictures he agreed. The fact that 2 ballrooms were included was a great bonus feature. No turn time! The lighting was subtlety dramatic and the decor beautiful. Not to mention we got the added addition of having our name in lights on the marquee! What more could you ask for?
The people we worked with made sure that all of our questions were answered and everything was perfect on our day. The ballrooms turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you so much for being the perfect addition to our wedding.
This is a gorgeous ballroom, with added appeal of seperate rooms for ceremony & reception. They have great discounts for using preferred vendors & the partner photogrpahy studio is exquisite. They allowed me to come in and decorate early bc their was no prior event the friday before my wedding which was awesome!
The inital consultation with one of the owners, Ben was very appealing however make sure to get EVERYTHING in writing, as they switched consultants and not all promises were followed through upon. Overall it is a beautiful venue and a great deal- you can provide your own alcohol & the preferred venue list is vast.
I was a bit disapointed with their professional demenor & customer service. They opposed some decorations i had planned the day of which was very frusterating considering i asked in advance for any restrictions & there was nothing stated in the signed contract. There was some other unorganized & unprofessional instances so i would just recommend to keep a copy of every invoice & agreed term- their website does not accomodate this very well.
Overall a good experience & will be as long as you are very precise about your expectations & document correspondence.
My daughter Brittany married Logan Hazen on Friday, December 14, 2012. She held her reception at the West End Theatre/ballroom. Lauren Steele was our event manager and she was fabulous. The day of timeline she coordinated with all our vendors flowed flawlessly. Our questions were answered and the night of our event was amazing. Our guest were so impressed with the venue. The outside is deceiving making it appear smaller than it is. The ballroom held all of our guests and the up lighting, tables, and dance floor was wonderful. The young ones even danced Ghangum style on the stage. Everyone raved about the space. I highly recommend the West End ballroom.
The newlyweds didn't rent the photo-booth but did use the bridal suite as a photo wall with props. it was great!
The only thing I would say is that when I first arrived it was a bit cold in the entryway and going upstairs, but once inside the ballroom not cold at all. Pricing is good with many discounts offered. Also all tables, chairs, and sound system included...
We booked the West End and were beyond thrilled with how beautiful this space is! Access to two ballrooms, beautiful lighting and downtown!! However, between the time we signed our contract and had our wedding, employee's changed 3-4 times. We were told one thing when touring the venue and then told different things as our wedding approaced. Last, the woman who was in charge of our event on the wedding day was horrible! The day of our wedding there were many mistakes and her response was she "forgot." She was also overheard by multiple guests saying negative comments about our wedding. Last, THERE IS NO GARBAGE!! You are required to "pack out" all your own trash. The night of my wedding, walking around picking up trash and loading full trash bags into our get away car (istead of gifts) was horrible. I speant the last hour of my wedding cleaning instead of thanking my guests.
I only wish the beauty of this venue was mirrored by staff that enjoyed weddings!
We loved the West End and even got to meet the owner, Ben Powers. The feel and location were 100% us. We had some rocky points leading up to the big day, as the venue cordinator we had planned the whole event with ended up being on vacation on our wedding weekend. Her replacement was 30 mins LATE letting us into the space for the rehearsal and then was impatient to get us out as soon as the rehearsal was done. However, the big day went well and I'm really glad I hired a 3rd party coordinator.
It was a beautiful venue. Make sure to put everything into the contract so there are no questions about inclusions when the time comes. Also remember, you must buy their wine. Nice to be able to bring in your own beer, champagne, and cash bar!
I absolutely loved the setting for our wedding. The ballroom and the space used for the ceremony on the main floor are both exquisite. They are absolutely beautiful and I loved being there. The service, however, was disappointing. The wedding-day coordinator was NOT the same person we had been working with. We knew that was a possibility because she couldn't be expected to work every weekend, but we were not told before the day that she would not be there. And the replacement never introduced herself to us and was often hard to find when we needed her. It was as though the two women sharing the role of coordinator did not communicate with one another prior to the event. Upon booking, we were also told that we would be able to control the music wirelessly on both floors. That was not true. It was available in the ballroom only but was so unreliable that we had to resort to a backup plan. An additional concern (something that might seem trivial to some people but something that I found to be quite disgusting) was the lack of hand soap in the bathroom.
The space is beautiful and a great alternative to a banquet hall or hotel. It has a unique Portland feel that is adaptable to any wedding style.
The owner who showed us the venue was great and really sold the space. But our on site coordinate was aloof and unorganized. As we got closer to the wedding day a lot of promises made were not fulfilled or had changed. For example: liquor and decor restrictions changed, capacity was scaled back, the number of chairs from the contract changed, etc).
Unfortunately, the management ruined the space and the experience for me.
This place is amazing. So beautiful they have it all. Ceremony space, reception space, bridal party room, a cozy fireplace. It's adorable. The only problem we ran into were the huge amount of stairs... They do not have elevators, so elderly would have much difficulty getting up to the reception space. Nice service!
We got married on the 25th of August. The facility was beautiful and clean. Kat was always quick to respond to phone calls and emails. Very helpful and patient. Wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else
Loved this venue! Many of the guests at our wedding also commented on the intimate and unique setting. We loved that the ceremony could be held downstairs and the reception upstairs so there was no flipping of a room. They have a list of great preferred vendors. Only tiny issue was some staff changes at the last minute but overall it was great and exactly what we were looking for!
This was an absolutely amazing venue! The views were spectacular, all our guests couldn't get over how beautiful it was up there, or how great the wine was. The whole process was amazing, from booking the venue to finally getting married. The staff bent over backwards to make sure that we had the most amazing wedding ever. It was simply amazing!
We picked the West End Ballroom because it's in the middle of downtown Portland, and we wanted our guests to experience the "Portland lifestyle" of walking, biking, and taking mass transit. The venue has been beautifully renovated, with so many amenities. We were thoroughly pleased with our experience and would highly recommend a couple looking for that perfect urban wedding to check out the West End Ballroom.
When we first saw The West End, we knew instantly this was where we would have our ceremony and reception! We were going for a vintage/elegant feel to our wedding and this fit what we wanted to a "T"! The downstairs ballroom is perfect for an elegant and intimate ceremony. It fit 180 guests, which was perfect! The upstairs ballroom was absolutely stunning! The lighting is beautiful and was everything I'd dreamed of. I would gladly recommend this to anyone!
Beautiful setting, with so many different options depending on the weather. A little spendy, but worth it.
The West End Ballroom as a venue was great, plenty of room for our 185 ppl wedding. Great location. We loved the style of the place is very versatile.
The down parts: it was a bit difficult working with them to organize what we could and could not do and understand exactly what was included in the cost of the venue. The venue coordinator went back and forth on important details, telling us one thing then changing details months later.
I suggest if you go with this venue to ask a lot of questions! Such as: Details on when you can get in to decorate and clean up; What the additional costs are if you do not go with their "preferred vendor" list; what the additional costs are if you bring in your own wine; taking care of garbage; ect.
Important tip: Get everything in writing and read your contracts thoroughly! This tip actually goes for all types wedding vendors! It will help you decide on who you choose and you will have no surprises.
This venue is absolutely amazing. We got married there two weeks ago, and could not have been happier. We had out of town guest from all over the country and every one of them mentioned how amazing the vineyard and grounds were. The wonderful thing about this venue is that you don't have to do much to make it beautiful. Your decorations can be minimal because the view and the building itself is beautiful. Everyone should check out this vineyard before looking anywhere else. I guarantee that nothing will top Vista Hills.
When our daughter was planning her wedding her #1 choice of venue was Vista Hills Vineyard. She discovered Vista Hills during an equestrian wine tasting tour. It was also very important to our family to stay as local as possible for our vendors. We visited and WOW, we were so impressed with the venue as well as all the people involved. We visited often between our 1st visit to choose the venue and "The Day" and feel as though we have made life-long friends with the staff at VH as well as the Powers Oregon staff.
If you are looking for an intimate vineyard wedding, comfortable & elegant with a wonderful crew to work with, don't go any further than Vista Hills!
Vista Hills was an amazing venue for our wedding! Our search began with over 100 wineries, and Vista was by far the best of the best. From the moment we arrived and saw the views and venue space, we were sold! It couldn’t be more picturesque. The entire upstairs of the building is windows, all overlooking the beautiful vineyards of Oregon wine country. The weather becomes insignificant with all of that scenery, which makes Vista the perfect outdoor and indoor venue. The treehouse space is very unique, and the patio seating (both upstairs and downstairs) offers plenty of additional venue space (we tented it in March and used it for the band!). The downstairs barrel room is exactly what I had envisioned for the dinner space…concrete walls and floors with wine barrels scattered, a true winery experience. We had 60 people for an indoor wedding in March, and it was simply perfect. The rental includes all areas of the venue (as well as so much more, their wedding package is worth every penny), so our guests were able to leisurely take in all of the rooms and just enjoy the evening. In addition to the space being perfect, the Staff at Vista is equally impressive. From the event coordinator (Kat at Powers we love you!) to everyone within Vista (Ryan, Dave), they went way above and beyond the call of duty to help make our wedding an unforgettable evening. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose Vista Hills for our wedding venue, and we HIGHLY recommend you book your date today!
My husband and I were really having a hard time finding a location that fit into our budget. We were so happy (and relieved) when we found Vista Hills! We had a very small ceremony and dinner (under 30 guests) and since the weather was less than desireable, we were given plenty of options for having the ceremony indoors.
Kat and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Very helpful, very patient, and creative. I think that I was probably one of the worst bride-to-be in history! But working with Vista Hills was incredible easy and they walked me throught the whole process!
Wonderful location, beautiful views, a fantastic day!
The West End was the perfect venue for our wedding. Working with Powers Studios couldn't have been easier. We had free reign to pretty much do anything we wanted (within reason). Not having to rent table and and chairs saved a lot of extra money and we were able to use items not listed in the contract.
Stephanie was great to work with an on top of everything at all times
Best vineyard for a wedding in the Willamette Valley! They were great to work with!
The West End Theater was perfect for our wedding. We had 185 people and it was the perfect size, no one felt crowded and there was plenty of room for dancing! The entry and the balcony were great for people to mingle.
This is truly the best location to get married. We had around 100 people and never felt crowded. People can mingle inside or out, upstairs or down and the children can run freely and not bother anyone. The staff know what they are doing and there was no stress involved in the entire process. I am still getting comments on what a beautiful setting it was. Powers Oregon is who you will most likely work with and they have thought of everything. You just have to decide what color you what the table cloths to be. They will take care of the rest and not over charge you for it.
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Vista this summer and have absolutely no regrets in making that decision. The staff was helpful throughout every step of the planning process, and the day of the wedding everything went smoothly because of all the help we got in the early stages of planning. Additionally, no amount of money can be attached to the beauty of this venue. It is amazingly gorgeous. Every person we've spoken to since have said that it was the the prettiest wedding site they have been to yet. 5 stars all the way!
