About this vendor
When all eyes are on both of you, you''ll want to feel comfortable and confident; enjoying the moment without over thinking which foot goes where. Whether you want something simple & elegant or over-the-top & exciting, our instructors will ensure your moment shines. Let us make your dreams come true.
How Do You Teach?
We like to stay current in this ever changing world and with the luck this world has been having, we've modified the way we teach dance. All of our lessons are taught through our Virtual Ballroom. Now before you click away, hear us out.
Our Virtual Dance Lessons are private, 45 minute sessions with a live dance instructor through the Zoom Platform. You will be able to see and hear the instructor as they teach. The instructor will also be able to share dance music with you, so you'll be able to dance to your song every single lesson. You'll get feedback to correct issues and styling to help make everything look elegant and perfect. Bonus, you'll be in the comfort of your own home, so no peering eyes or uncomfortable crowds.
The beauty of Virtual Dance Lessons are the flexibility they provide. You can take your lessons anywhere; a living room, finished basement, kitchen or spare bedroom. Maybe you have a destination wedding? Or maybe you'll be out of the area a month or two before the wedding? Doesn't matter, you can take us with you wherever you go. Our lessons can be taught in different countries, different time zones, heck, you can even take us to your venue!
Still not sure. Give us a try. We offer a Complimentary Dance Lesson & Wedding Consultation. Its FREE and there's no obligation to buy.
When Should We Start Taking Dance Lessons?
Far too often the first dance ends up on the bottom of the wedding checklist, and as a result, couples rush to learn a routine. Those last days & weeks before the wedding are going to be the most stressful, trying to memorize something new under pressure can take the joy out of a truly awesome experience. Instead, make dance your wedding stress-buster and pre-plan some time to spend together learning how to move comfortably on the dance floor. Couples should begin taking lessons as soon as possible, but we recommend 2 - 6 months prior to your wedding date. The sooner the better!
I Have a Champagne Taste on a Beer Income.
We understand that weddings can be expensive, that's why our dance lessons are affordable and the pricing straight forward. No gimmicks or large programs. We offer a Complimentary Dance Lesson & Wedding Consultation so we can discuss things like schedule, vision, and budget. There's no need for your first dance to cost more than the venue, reach out to us and tell us what you want. We're here to make it happen!

My husband and I had so much fun doing our dance lessons before our wedding, Velicia was awesome to work with and really made us feel comfortable before dancing in front of a crowd!! We also used her expertise for our father/daughter dance and son/mother dance and we're so happy we did. We always looked forward to our weekly dance lessons with Velicia, we're sad that they're over!! She really helped us nail our dances and we couldn't be happier that we used Westfield Ballroom!
I will try my best to put into words how amazing The Westfield Ballroom is.
My now-husband is not very outgoing and just the mention of dance lessons made him miserable. Prior to these dance lessons we had danced together maybe 3 times. Having these lessons virtually was a great way to get him to consider lessons and then do it! We received so many compliments about our dance afterwards and we had so much fun with the lessons it was totally worth it!
Velicia was AMAZING! We were both so comfortable with her and she was a great teacher. She really helped both of us learn. As we approached the wedding date my husband was even asking to add a few more lessons! He's even started recommending Westfield Ballroom to his newly engaged friends.
During one of our first lessons, Velicia asked what I pictured for our dance - I told her I didn't want to just stand there and sway. She then asked my husband who said he didn't have anything in mind because he was planning to stand there and sway (which is how we previously danced together).
After these lessons, and because he was actually comfortable learning to dance, that even outside our first dance, dancing together at our wedding was a lot of fun. Rather than swaying, he was dancing and spinning me. We just had more fun on the dance floor. He later said he would never have felt comfortable doing so without those lessons.
I wish there was a way to show that they are virtual and can help people all over the country. I actually messaged The Knot about it!
If you're looking for someone to make you comfortable on the dance floor or an amazing choreographed dance - Westfield Ballroom should be your go to!
Amy our dance instructor was so patient and lots of fun!
Brittany is the best! She helped make our four (both mine and my husbands) left feet coordinate for our first dance song. It was perfect and we received so many compliments about how "non-rehearsed" we looked! Thank you again Brittany!!
We won a free lesson from a bridal show, so we went to check it out. It was soo much fun that we signed up right away. The timing was bad for us, since hubby was about to go into the police academy and then selling our old and buying our new home. We were unable to continue and now we are farther away. If we were still close, you can bet we would still be students there!
