The Westin Governor Morris

The Westin Governor Morris Hotel was nothing short of amazing. When we were planning our wedding, they were the first hotel to respond to me and stayed responsive during the entire hotel room block process. They also took care of the shuttle booking and everything involving the shuttle which helped take something off my plate! Christina was hands down, the best to deal with. She was there to answer all questions big or small and was even present the week of my wedding when I dropped off my hotel welcome bags. She came down, said hello, and showed us the different rooms people would be staying in. When I arrived the Thursday before my wedding, the doorman was right outside, unloaded my car and brought everything up for us quickly. They also accommodated early check-in if people called since they had to be at the venue early for family photos. The bar stayed open until 1am the night of my wedding as well for us to party afterwards! When I got back to my room after the wedding, there was champagne, champagne glasses to take home and chocolate covered strawberries from the hotel. My experience was over the top and I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

My husband and I had a great stay at The Westin Governor Morris as did the guests in our room block. Christina and Charday were helpful and attentive throughout the planning process, especially as our room block continuously sold out and we kept needing to add additional rooms. We were impressed by the quality and efficiency of the courtesy shuttle bus that was given us once we hit a certain number of rooms and we were grateful for the room upgrade as well. The lobby bar also served as a nice setting for "welcome drinks" the night before the wedding. All in all, we would recommend considering The Westin for your wedding block.

Reception, ceremony, room block, after party, farewell breakfast - Westin Governor Morris: 12/10 honestly a diamond in the rough. I’m not sure why more people don’t use the Westin for their weddings. Carrie (catering manager) went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our day was amazing. We had a number of guests with severe food restrictions, and she and I worked together to make sure they could eat, including making sure that we had kosher options at the cocktail hour. She checked on me the night before the wedding, while we were getting ready in the hospitality suite, during, and after. She also worked with us for the after party and breakfast, which went super well. For the room block side, we were in communication with Christina, Jamie and Charday at various points. They were all helpful and accommodating, including adding rooms to our room block and making some exceptions for special last minute bookings and extensions before the room block actually started. We were also upgraded to the presidential suite from our junior suite, which was amazing so we both had large areas to get ready with our people in. For on site weddings, the hospitality suite is included. The only thing I will say is that if we had known in advance we would get the presidential suite, I probably would have switched the girls getting ready to be in there, as the dining room table had a lot of chairs and space for makeup and hair to do their thing.

My husband and I booked this hotel for our guest the night of our wedding. It was a great experience from start to finish. We worked with Christina and she was amazing and very responsive. The hotel was beautiful and decorated beautiful for the holiday season. They offered us a complementary shuttle service to and from the venue. The following morning, we had a breakfast with all the guest that stayed. Everything was wonderful. We had our own private room and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend using them as your hotel for your wedding! 10/10 service.

We booked our hotel block at the Westin Governor Morris and had a great experience working with Christina. She was very attentive leading up to the wedding with sharing the list of who had booked, helped us coordinate free shuttles for our guests to the venue, as well as a farewell breakfast the next day. All of our guests said the hotel was very nice and comfortable. The bar and large lobby was great for our after party as well.

Our experience getting married at the Westin was nothing short of incredible! We used them for both our venue and hotel block. We worked with Carrie (venue) and Christina (hotel block) and they were both amazing. They were both so helpful every step of the way. The food was AWESOME!!! The day of the wedding, all staff were so attentive and helpful. We had the best night ever and are so grateful we chose the Westin for our special day.

A BIG shout out to CHRISTINA at The Westin. I truly don’t have the right words to properly articulate how incredible she was to work with. She’s beyond organized and we never had to worry about anything. We had a very large wedding (275) and everything went perfectly from the time guests arrived, transportation to the venue and back, and the after party at the hotel. Pick the Westin for your wedding. You will not be disappointed.

We used the Westin Governor Morris for our room block for our wedding in July at Natirar and had such a great experience working with Christina and the whole team. Communication was always timely and clear, she was helpful with any questions I had and also helped us secure transportation to and from our venue as well as our Sunday Farewell Breakfast at the hotel. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were clean and we had a great experience! Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a hotel block in the Morristown area!

We booked the Westin Governor Morris for our hotel room block for our wedding in June 2023, and it was a pretty seamless process. Though they had some staff turnover in the year between when we booked and our wedding which led to some changes in contact there, Christina was always responsive and put us in contact with the correct people who were always helpful in sending reservation updates. Though they had multiple weddings booked during the same weekend, they were extremely organized in making sure all our guests received welcome bags, and the rooms were spacious and clean. My bridesmaids and I got ready in one of the presidential suites the morning of the wedding, and the staff were extremely prompt and helpful when we called down to ask for a few last minute items (i.e., high top chairs for the makeup artists, etc). The Westin Governor Morris also offered complimentary shuttles to and from our venue, and their communication during the planning process in sorting out these shuttles was efficient and put my mind at ease. The shuttles were prompt and well-timed for our guests going both to and from our reception. We also worked with them to book a morning-after breakfast for our guests, which was easy to coordinate and was well-stocked and delicious. We would highly recommend booking with them for any hotel blocks and other related wedding events!

We used the Westin Governor Morris for our wedding hotel block and we were absolutely delighted with our stay! We got married at The Park Savoy, which is about a 7-minute drive away. The hotel was an extremely convenient Uber ride in the morning over to the wedding venue to get ready in their bridal suite and a short shuttle ride home after our reception. The bar manager even kept the hotel bar open half an hour longer for us to be able to change out of our formal wear into something more comfortable. They offered my husband and I a complimentary drink of our choice and congratulated us with such warmth! We stayed one of the complimentary couple suites and they were able to accommodate an early check-in since we needed to be at The Park Savoy early and a later check-out around noon. The bar has excellent drinks and food! The hotel staff were very kind and understanding. I worked with Christina Rodriguez and Jamie Morella, who answered and responded to all of my questions within a timely manner and helped me satisfy several family requests such as allowing my elderly grandparents to check-in a bit early and giving them a handicap room on the first floor. We used the Westin Governor Morris for our hotel block, bridal party getting ready, shuttle and the farewell brunch. Our wedding was at the Park Savoy so it was a short drive over to the venue. Christina and her team were absolutely amazing. I met with Christina over a year before the wedding and she showed us all the options of different rooms/suites to use and was so professional. We used the Presidential Suite which was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for my bridal party to get ready in. Christina was easy to work with and responded to all emails and questions promptly. The shuttle was so easy for all the guests and the food at breakfast was great. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast spread, we added in the French Toast which was delicious! Christina went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of perfection. Thank you!

We chose the Westin Governor Morris as the hotel for our guests to stay at throughout our wedding weekend and were SO happy we did! Christina and her team are incredible and our guests were thrilled with their gorgeous rooms. The Presidential Suite was stunning and we loved using it to get ready. The team at the Westin went above and beyond to ensure our weekend was seamless, from organizing transportation for us leaving a sweet treat in our room on our wedding night, no detail went unnoticed. We would HIGHLY recommend using the Westin Governor Morris as your hotel of choice for any event.

Wonderful experience as having the Westin as our hotel room block for our wedding at The Park Savoy! Christina provided a great service and follow up communication was wonderful. We also had a breakfast the next morning which was wonderful to recap the wedding with our guests.

The Westin Governor Morris was exactly what we were looking for when searching for a wedding venue. As a whole, it gives an updated and modern feel. We were fortunate enough to have all of our wedding weekend events at the Westin including welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party at the Blue Morel Bar, and a farewell breakfast. The outside ceremony area was a beautiful space to begin our celebration. As guests moved indoors following the ceremony, cocktail hour allowed our guests to enjoy various drinks as well as a large and delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres and appetizers. The ballroom for our reception was very big and fit our 200 guests comfortably. During our reception, guests raved about the service and the food, especially the beef option! In the days following our wedding, we have received so many compliments regarding the time guests spent at the Westin and how they truly enjoyed every aspect as both a hotel and venue. We stayed in the Presidential Suite during our stay, which was convenient and spacious for our bridal party to get ready in the day of our wedding. We also were able to utilize the hospitality suite, which was another space for our bridal party to get ready and even take a few moments away from the party throughout the night. All of the rooms are super clean and updated! The staff at the Westin was exceptional; any requests that we had as the bride and groom was accommodated without question. Every person that we met had a smile on their face and looked to make our stay the best that it could be. Christina made sure that all of our rooms were secured and even added more rooms to ensure all of our guests were able to book one. She kept us up-to-date with our rooming list and answered every question that we had. David truly made our wedding vision come true. If there was anything that we wanted to include in our special day, David made it happen. We communicated with David frequently and he answered any and all questions that we had, even up until the day of. We were truly grateful to work with David and his team at the Westin! David, you’re the best!! Our wedding exceeded our expectations, all thanks to the Westin Governor Morris! 10/10 recommend!

We were extremely happy with the Westin Governor Morris for our hotel block. All of our guests enjoyed staying there, and it is a beautiful hotel. They very kindly upgraded our room to a presidential suite, which was enormous and perfect for getting ready with my bridesmaids. They also left us strawberries and champagne, which was a nice touch! We had a casual after party in the lounge area, and it all worked out great! I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the guests who did thoroughly enjoyed it. We also paid for a farewell breakfast for ~80 guests the morning after our wedding, and it worked out really well! The only thing that was a bit stressful was having to sign a contract that we were responsible for filling a certain number of rooms (in order to ensure we had enough rooms reserved for our guests) since we didn't know exactly how many we needed. But it ended up all working out since the hotel sold out that weekend anyways (and could resell the rooms we didn't need). Just be very clear on what you are signing and make sure you understand the fine print.

We had our wedding at The Park Savoy and used The Westin for our hotel block, rehearsal dinner, after party, and farewell breakfast. The whole process was seamless and communication was great throughout the entire process. I mostly spoke with Christina and Danielle and they were both great and responded quickly. We dropped off our welcome bags the week of the wedding and the staff handed them out to everyone at check in. We had a complimentary shuttle that took our guests to and from the venue which was great. The rehearsal dinner was fantastic. The food and service were great. For the after party, we rented out a room at The Westin and had food and an open bar. Everyone loved it and it was such a fun way to keep the party going! Our farewell breakfast was in our own private room with a variety of breakfast foods. Our entire experience at The Westin was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful and every event went perfectly! Our guests were very impressed with the entire experience! Highly recommend!!

Christina was incredibly helpful leading up to our wedding, answering every little question without hesitation. The team was also accommodating and while they didn't promise early check-in, it seemed everyone's rooms were ready when they arrived no matter if it was before or after check-in time. When one guest had an issue with their a/c, they were able to switch rooms immediately. Last, but not least, brunch was exactly what we were looking for. It wasn't anything over the top but it was good and easy to get to. Every aspect checked all of our boxes and Christina made the whole thing very easy!

The Westin was easy to work with and always replied to us in a timely manner. We and our guests had a great stay there the night of our wedding. They provided transportation to and from the venue which was much appreciated by our guests.

The suites and rooms are clean and spacious. Transportation was seamless, the company used large coach buses! We had our wedding room block here in January 2023 and couldn't have asked for anything better! Christina and the sales team from start to finish were so helpful, thorough and friendly. We looked at 2 other hotels in the area and would tell you to look no further than the Westin Governor Morris. Amenities, pricing, and service were all superior compared to the other hotels we met with. From finalizing event details, from dropping off our gift bags for our guests for check-in, to our farewell breakfast the morning after our wedding night - everyone and everything was 5 stars. Christina and team answered every single annoying email I had about timing, pricing, guest list, etc. so promptly and I never felt I was a bother. Something that was so helpful during the chaos of wedding planning was that they took care of our guest transportation when we met a certain number of rooms booked. That alone is worth it! No stress dealing with another vendor - the Westin handled it all. They were even able to secure us a handicap accessible bus at no extra cost. We dropped off 90 gift bags to the front desk the week of the wedding and reception staff was so helpful and kind, not acting as if it was another task for them. They were excited for us and helped us carry them all in! I met some friends in the lobby when they checked in and every front desk staff member was so so nice. We have done the wedding circuit with our own group of friends the last year and we haven't stayed at a nicer hotel so far. We received so many compliments from guests about the beauty of the hotel, the size and cleanliness of the rooms, and the Blue Morel restaurant and bar. We had 100+ guests at the Blue Morel bar late night and the bartenders were so nice and patient with our large group. Our room on our wedding night also had surprise chocolate covered strawberries and champagne with wine glasses for us - thank you Christina! So many little things that added onto the amazing experience here. At our farewell breakfast, the staff was so attentive, food was warm and trays full to the brim. The manager kept checking on us to make sure everything was ok. It was a perfect weekend and we are so so thrilled with the service we received! Look no further I promise! This Westin is a step above the rest.

We used the Westin Governor Morris as the hotel for ourselves, and our family and friends who attended our wedding. The customer service, the space, and the overall experience was great! Both my husband and I got ready in our suites; the hotel staff was great with providing us with extra tables and stools for the makeup artists and hair stylists. Christina was amazing to work with. She accommodated our every need, including our extensive room block and guests. We utilized the Blue Morel bar for our after party, which also proved to be a success. We highly recommend using the Westin as your hotel!

We chose The Westin for our wedding because of the convenience of the hotel and bar being onsite as well as the beautiful Christmas decor. The venue had everything we could have dreamed. A huge Christmas tree, garland hanging from the balcony, and even a sled with moving reindeer! All the decor matched the winter blue silvers and whites theme we had in mind. David was very responsive and made sure to make it all happen. They accommodated special food requests of baby lamb chop appetizers, added Jameson and Ginger ale to the bar (the bride’s favorite drink), and had our favorite holiday food - maple glazed ham! We had a seafood bar the guests loved and a Mac and Cheese bar with toppings that were served in martini glasses to make it easy to eat while socializing! The ballroom had Christmas trees, hot cocoa and cigar favors on the tables with greenery and candles, silver chivari chairs with all white table cloths/napkins that kept the room feeling light, romantic, and magical. David was communicative and extremely easy to work with. He took our vision and made it happen along with adding in details I never even thought of like a gingerbread house with our names on it! Christina with the hotel made sure our room block never ran low and answered all the questions we had on our reservations and how the day would go! I would recommend working with the Westin Governor Morris a thousand times over!

We used The Westin for our room block & the guys got ready their the day of the wedding! Christina was absolutely amazing to work with and made it all so easy! The Westin is absolutely GORGEOUS! We also did a after party with food and a breakfast in the morning at The Westin! I cant thank them enough for making probably one of the more stressful parts so easy on me!

We just had our guests stay here after our wedding in November. I have to say - the entire team was amazing to deal with! Christina was so accommodating and was very patient with all my emails haha everything went very smoothly since the day we booked!! The free shuttle they offer, the block, the constant updates.... it was all perfect and a huge success!!! Definitely look no further if looking for a hotel in the area!!! You will not regret it!!

The Westin Governor Morris was the PERFECT place to have our guests stay for the wedding. It is such a gorgeous hotel with an excellent staff that is nearby to so many great venues. I cannot say enough how much Christina and the entire Westin team helped us - they coordinated our transportation (including a verrry last minute timing change), hosted our afterparty, helped us find a wedding coordinator, continuously checked in to make sure all of our guests were booking via the block, and passed out our welcome bags. Do yourself a favor and book a block / afterparty here, you won't regret it!

We recently had our wedding block stay at this hotel. Despite the very busy season and complications arising from having so many parties at one time Christina and staff were really helpful and responsive. We really felt taken care of. The facilities were very nice and we even had a little late night gathering at the bar. They helped with transportation and we’re very flexible with room logistics. Overall, definitely recommend this place.

She replied to my emails about our room block and phone calls right away and always answered all of my questions. She helped organize our after party as well. Outstanding! The Westin Governor Morris was absolutely an outstanding hotel for our out of town guests to stay for our daughter's wedding weekend. Even though our daughter was married in our hometown church in Bernardsville and had reception at the Mansion at Natirar, the majority of our hotel guests (131) traveled from all over New England, North Carolina, Ilinois, Florida, California and even Norway. We knew having a great place for them all to stay was incredibly important and one of the first things we booked when she got engaged. Our wedding planners, Peony Events, highly recommended the Westin Governor Morris and they were so right! Our meetings with Christina were so reassuring and we knew we were in good hands. We booked Welcome Drinks at the Blue Morel Restaurant, planned a Farewell Breakfast and reserved the Presidential Suite and a large room block including rooms for our family. Christina kept us updated on reservations and helped us increase the block since so many guests were booking early. Christina also took care of reserving 3 motor coaches to take our hotel guests to and from the reception, which was included in the room block- such a wonderful perk of staying at the Westin. Everything went fantastic the weekend of the wedding from the drop off of 80 Welcome Bags (thanks Narissa!), the Welcome Drinks - over 100 guests attending (thanks Kevin!), smooth transportation to and from the Mansion at Natirar (thanks A-1 Limo) and a fabulous breakfast on Sunday to end the wedding weekend celebration! The service was outstanding all around! Many thanks to Christina and the staff of the Westin! We would highly recommend the Westin Governor Morris.

I'm 55, but when I was little my grandma use to ask me when I came to visit what I wanted to do. I would tell her " go to the Governor Morriss Inn" I remember a large tiered buffet with lots and lots of crystal, and while we ate a fashion show would be happening. I can't find info on it now. As it would have been the late 60s early 70s. However it's just one of my fondest memories of spending time with the grandmother I loved. I wish I had a picture of it back then. Christina at the Westin Governor Morris was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was always so responsive, answered all my questions in a timely manner, and was so organized. The Westin in newly renovated and looks gorgeous! It is sleek and the chandeliers when you walk in are breathtaking! I was able to drop off my guest hotel bags any day the week of my wedding which was super easy and accommodating! The Westin provided shuttle services to/from my venue and there was no complaints. We also had a breakfast the day after my wedding which was delicious! This hotel really welcomes their guests with warmth and respect. Would recommend to anyone!!

We booked the Westin Governor Morris as our room block for our April 2022 wedding. Christina was super helpful from the start and made the time to answer all of our questions. The hotel was beautiful and we very much so enjoyed our stay (as well as our guests)!

The Westin Governor Morris is a gorgeous venue! We stayed at the hotel for about a week, and it was an amazing experience. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Anything we needed, was done or answered to promptly. The staff was so kind and understanding. On our wedding day, the event team was on point and so helpful. They made sure we had all that we needed. I’m so glad we decided to have our special day at the Westin Governor Morris! It was absolutely perfect.

Ruined my wedding night. Their shuttles left without the groom, myself and the bridal party. We called to have them come back and they REFUSED. We all had to wait an additional 30 minutes until our ubers came to pick us up. By the time we were able to get back to the hotel, the bar had closed and we missed all of our guests that were anxiously awaiting our arrival back at the hotel because it was past midnight at this point. We never received an apology from the hotel and we were beyond disappointed in the way the situation was handled.

We had a very large portion of our 300 person wedding stay overnight at the Westin Governor Morris. Leading up to the wedding weekend we had to add rooms to our block as demand was higher than we anticipated. Christina was so helpful in doing so. When the entire hotel was booked she allowed me to direct guests to her directly to be put on a waiting list in case of cancellations and she was able to get all of our guests a reservation in the end. The transportation included to and from the hotel to our venue (The Park Savoy) was so convenient for our guests and save us a large chunk of money. Highly recommend staying in the presidential suite if you are the bride and groom! It was the perfect size for our large bridal party to get hair and makeup done the day of.

We had an excellent experience using the Westin Governor Morris for our wedding room block. The hotel lobby was beautiful and the guest rooms were large and very nice. The Sales Manager Christina Rodriguez was proactive, organized, and easy to worth with. The hotel's restaurant (Blue Morel) has plenty of seating plus a wraparound bar, making it a perfect location for an after-party. Best of all, the Westin's prices are quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend the Westin Governor Morris for your next event!

We got married November 6 , 2021. Our guests stayed at the Westin from November 5th through November 7th. We had a goodbye breakfast on November 7th. Our experience at the Westin was fantastic. The hotel was recently renovated and very clean. Christine Rodriguez (the group planner) worked with us and accommodated our every need. We highly recommend going there.

We used the Westin Governor Morris for our wedding room block this weekend and we were more than satisfied. We worked with Christina throughout the entire process and she was fantastic. She helped us through postponing our wedding and getting a couple of last minute guests their rooms. The hotel is gorgeous and extremely clean. The junior suite was spacious enough for seven bridesmaids and the moms to get ready, and it was conveniently located to our venue (Basking Ridge Country Club). We highly recommend this hotel!

Working with Christina at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel for our wedding block was a great experience. Our guests were warmly greeted and made comfortable. She helped arrange for guest Transportation to and from our venue which worked out great. It was comfortable and on-time! Our farewell breakfast was excellent and enjoyed by all! We would recommend choosing The Westin Governor Morris for your stay at your next event in that area!

I first contacted and considered the Westin Governor Morris for my October 2020 wedding in 2019. Back then, the staff was very easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. When I decided to postpone from 2020 to 2021, they made it relatively easy and painless and moved all of my blocked rooms for my guests. During 2020, things took a turn and it was hard to get a reply back from the event/sales staff. I spoke to at least 4 people throughout the process but I was being pretty laid back about the entire thing for a while until the month before the wedding. I decided to check in that I had a confirmation # for my own suite on the night before my wedding - the one in which we'd all be getting ready in the morning. Nope - the staff hadn't moved MY reservation at all and I didn't have a suite in my name. It took me calling 3x, emailing, and leaving a voicemail to get a response from the sales manager - who didn't apologize for this huge oversight on their part - just for the confusion? On the Monday before my wedding weekend, they send an email out to remind guests of their reservation with a 4pm check in time! I immediately get texts from my bridal party confused since we were doing rehearsals at 5 and we thought check in was 3. I had to reach out to sales where I was told they would honor 3pm check in for my party since things had changed since my contract. However, they didn't bother to let my guests know that so we had to scramble to let everyone know they can check in at 3pm. On Saturday at check-in, everyone's room was ready besides mine. Fine - I can be patient. But as I overheard guests from other weddings trying to check in.. the hotel had done the same to them. The front desk clerk very coldly stated that check in was 4 when the MOTHER OF THE BRIDE said I need to get into my room so I can get ready before the shuttle leaves at 4 for the wedding! What kind of hotel has a 4pm check in? Besides that - paying $15/day for WiFi? In 2021? Parking was also not free according to the fine print but I think the staff was too overwhelmed to deal with that or me and my guests will be billed later for that? It is a beautiful hotel but it's too bad that the sales and customer service leaves much to be desired. When one of my bridesmaids left something on the shuttle, it took us haunting the front desk staff for over an hour to get us a number for the shuttle company. This hotel was the biggest regret of my wedding weekend! Brides beware.

The Westin Governor Morris was our official wedding hotel and also where we hosted our Sangeet there. Christina and team were so helpful with all of our hotel reservation questions (there were many leading up to the big day!). The hotel was beautiful and certainly had that elevated look and feel we were hoping for such a special weekend. We also appreciate the help of David in ensuring our Sangeet had our preferred caterer. They even sent us a sweet note and bottle of Champagne during our weekend. Very sweet of them!

It was a pleasure to work with Christina and her team in securing our wedding room blocks! They were super helpful and responsive, and really made our wedding weekend (8/28 - 8/29/2021) seamless. We were able to secure the presidential suite and qualified for free a junior suite since we met the criteria. We picked this location because it's a lovely hotel, great staff, locality to our venue in Florham Park, and close to bars and restaurants in Morristown.

Christina at the Westin Governor Morris deserves a shout-out for being so helpful through our long two year process. Christina was there for every question and concern. She was so helpful when we had to postpone our wedding from August 2020 to August 2021. She and Emile were wonderful when time was getting closer and my endless requests for the hotels that were booked seemed daily. Thank you for all of your help and support. Everything went wonderfully the whole weekend! From our hotel bags, to our stunning presidential suite and junior suite to the shuttle back and the breakfast the morning after. We cannot thank Christina and the team at the Westin enough for making our hotel stay so seamless for our wedding weekend. After multiple wedding reschedules due to COVID, and evolving guests travel plans, the Westin went above and beyond to be accommodating, and understanding - quickly responding to every question, change, and request. Our wedding block booked over 75 rooms and the weekend was flawless - all bus transportation was on time, guests were able to spend Friday lounging by the pool, many guests walked into Morristown throughout their stay, and the farewell brunch was a perfect end to a great weekend. We were able to utilize the Presidential Suite to get ready all weekend (and hang with our friends) and the guests commented on how spacious the rooms were. We are so appreciative to have worked with Christina and the Westin team as they made an unpredictable wedding planning process so much more enjoyable and stress free- cannot recommend more highly!

July 31, 2021 wedding block review 60 days prior my wedding, 35 rooms booked and my hotel canceled on me. Glitch I was told. Christina from The Westin Governor Morris saved us! She had my room blocked transferred signed sealed deliver in maybe 2-3 days. She made sure everything ran smoothly, from the start of the process till the end. You don’t really know what’s going to happen when something like a big cancellation like that occurs. It was nerve wracking. I cannot thank her enough for making it possible without a hitch!! Blue Morel accommodated over 100 people at the bar till 1 am!! We opt to do the Farewell Breakfast and everything was delicious and cooked to perfection!! It was much needed after the wedding and family that we had. Hotel bags were distributed, our shuttles were on time and scheduled. It could not have gone better! We booked as a couple the Junior Suite and The Presidential Suite. If you’re contemplating it, it’s a must!! Nothing like having a six person dining table for your bridal party. We set up breakfast, snacks and water. We did all of our makeups! Lighting was great! Ladies you know what I mean! Christina my love, thank you so much for helping create the best day of my life.. I have no words. To the entire staff, the front desk, Emillie who all helped made this day possible. My sincerest gratitude. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Ladies, if you’re contemplating between the others and The Westin Governor Morris, don’t make the same mistake as I did and not choose The Westin the first time around. You don’t want the hassle I put up with. Christina gets it done.

we decided to book the Westin in Morristown for our wedding block in July. The hotel was packed with people for weddings at all the different venues in the area but the hotel seemed a little understaffed - which is understandable with covid affecting staffing issues. The hotel was clean and was really helpful in setting up our transportation to the venue as part of our wedding block package. Our contact person Christina was always reachable by phone or email to help answer questions and to give us the most updated list of guests who have booked rooms. The hotel rooms were your average hotel Rooms, nothing extra fancy. We had booked the presidential suite for the bridesmaids to get ready in, and it was very large and spacious to accommodate 4 bridesmaids, 4 hair and make up, 2 photographers, and some family members. The only complaint I would have is that the elevators are very slow, and our presidential suite wasn’t ready until an hour and a half after checkin - again probably another issue related to understaffing due to covid. Overall the hotel was great, our guests enjoyed it, the process to book the block was easy, and communication was very clear.

Christina and the rest of the staff of the Westin went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly during our wedding weekend. We used the Westin as the hotel for our wedding guests and for ourselves. Everyone was impressed with the hotel's cleanliness and efficiency. From checking in, distributing the hotel bags, and organizing transportation to and from our venue, the Westin was phenomenal. Thank you for everything!!

We chose the Westin Governor Morris as the hotel for our wedding guests and our stay for the night prior and the night of our wedding. We were very pleased with our stay and so were our guests! The hotel was very clean and accommodating. We did not have any issues!

We used The Westin Governor Morris in Morristown, New Jersey for our wedding weekend in November 2020! We could not have chose a better hotel to stay at and have all of our friends and family stay at for our wedding. They were quick to calm us and let us know they would find a solution and make things work. We held our welcome party and farewell breakfast at the hotel and both events were perfect! The hotel is beautiful and very clean. They were very thoughtful in helping us feel special all weekend and making sure we had everything we needed. We used the Westin for our guests to stay over night after our wedding at the Park Savoy. I also got ready in the presidential suite! We worked with Kelly who was so helpful and accommodating. The suite was spacious and so pretty! We had a breakfast the next morning that was delicious and very spacious...enough space for our 124 guests that stayed over! I highly recommend using the Westin!!!!!

I used The Westin Governor Morris for my wedding hotel block for 3 nights and I couldn't have been happier. Kelly, the sales manager, is the best. She answered my endless questions very quickly and was extremely helpful in setting up the room block, and help arranging transportation for my wedding guests. The hotel was accommodating to any and all changes I made leading up to our weekend. The front desk staff is warm, welcoming, and there to help with all your needs! The rooms are large and the beds are so comfortable. The hotel has been refurbished so the bathrooms are clean and new. The front lobby was decorated beautifully for the holidays and our morning after breakfast was set up so well, it could have been a wedding! The food in the Blue Morel restaurant is delicious and the staff are extremely attentive. I can't say enough GREAT things about this place, highly recommended.

My daughter had a wedding at a nearby venue; we'd held a block of rooms at Westin Governor Morris since many of our guests flew in and needed accommodations. The staff - all the staff - courteous, professional and very attentive. The facility itself has everything a guest needs.

We recently got married in Florham Park and had our hotel block with Christina at the Westin and we are SO glad we did! Christina and Emilie were amazing throughout the entire booking process, constantly going above and beyond. We had a LOT of guests stay there as many were from out of town and Christina arranged everything perfectly and arranged transportation for everything. She truly is a gem and genuinely cares about making everything perfect for you, and she definitely did with our wedding. We ordered coffee and breakfast for a large party of 20 at 4:30 AM and it arrived at exactly that time. We are so grateful for everything from the Westin!

I expected great service for my daughters wedding this past weekend and the Governor Morris Westin did not disappoint! Christina Rodriguez, the Sales Manager, provided great suggestions and pricing for the room block, after-party at the Blue Morel, and our farewell breakfast the following morning (which was on-time, beautifully presented, and delicious). Her communication and responsiveness to my questions provided a great level of comfort as my wife and I were able to focus on all of our other vendors and details. Christina and the Governor Morris are well deserving of their 5 star reputation! I strongly encourage you to contact Christina as you make your own plans for a wedding , or any other important event!

Had a great experience using this Hotel for our guests + farewell breakfast. Christina Rodriguez was our contact, and she made sure everything was set for us. Communication was solid and everything went according to plan. They can also assist with ground transportation via MyLimo, which was helpful for us as well

We selected the Westin as our hotel for both guests and where we would get ready for our wedding at The Stone House. Overall our experience was great. The weekend of the wedding everything went very smoothly. The team even was able to find and save our Nintendo Switch games after they were left in the grooms suite (oops!) - however, 4 stars instead of five because the lack of initiative. The games were found mere hours after the groom vacated the room and nobody thought to bring them or inform us at checkout that they were left behind. Additionally our staff contact who coordinated the shuttles, room block, and weekend activities (we hosted a post-wedding brunch here the next day as well) was incredibly hard to track down, unresponsive/slow to respond until a week or two ahead of the wedding. When we were at our busiest, we were answering questions we had tried to preemptively problem solve ahead of time. Other than that, everything was lovely, our guests were impressed and comfortable, and the hotel was even accommodating when a snow storm threatened travel plans for many. We wouldn't have changed anything and would use them again, however they could have done slightly better for us.

We are so glad we decided to have our wedding hotel block at the Westin Governor Morris! The hotel is beautiful and is in a great location close to downtown Morristown. We held our wedding reception at the Westin. With nearly 75% of our guests coming in from out of town, holding the reception at a hotel made the most sense for us. We worked with Joyce from beginning to end. She was great and the whole process was painless! She worked with us on all of the details including food, table settings, timing, and any questions we came up with she answered. Any last minute changes she helped with and accommodated. We received SO many amazing comments from our guests. They loved the hotel, the food, and the wait staff and bartenders. Everything turned out beautifully! We owe that to Joyce, Pedro, and Julio for all of their hard work!

My husband and I had our guests from our wedding stay at the Westin and it was amazing! The hotel was beautiful and so clean and new! Christina helped us from the very beginning and stayed working with us even the day of the wedding! Christina graciously enough showed us all the different rooms, went over the pricing and helped us set up breakfast for the morning after. Anytime I contacted Christina with a question or comment she immediately responded and was always so super helpful with everything! We even went to the restaurant in the hotel and had dinner one night and the food was delicious! The morning after our wedding we had a breakfast for our guests in our own room and everyone raved about it. We can not thanks Christina and everyone else at the Westin Governor for making our special day so much more memorable! I would highly recommend everyone to stay at the Westin Governor!!!!

Great hotel and stay. Very accommodating to all our needs. Kelly was super sweet and helping me every step of the way, even when we hit a few snags with our room block. The hotel provided excellent transportation service to and from my venue, which was very helpful.

We held our room block at the Westin Governor Morris and were extremely happy with the service as well as the rooms. They were very easy to work with and the hotel itself is beautiful. My wife and I stayed in the suite given to us for reserving such a large block of rooms and it was absolutely fantastic. Good prices overall too -- would highly recommend Kelly B and the Westin to anybody who asks!

Everything went off without a hitch. We had a Friday night meet and greet on the pool deck and a private brunch on Sunday Pedro and Julio - the catering managers and Joy, were very attentive, and setup the pool deck beautifully. They took care of the decorations, and saved them for us, so that they were at the sunday brunch. The shuttles were on time, and picked up everyone they should. Christina was terrific through the whole process. We had 65 rooms, and no problems with check-in.

We hosted our entire wedding weekend at the Westin Governor Morris from June 8 - 10 and cannot say enough about the venue and the team. It was beyond incredible! We had a large guest list (approx 260) with many out of towners, and early on knew that we wanted to simplify logistics as much as possible. We were able to host a full weekend of events all on site at the Westin: the rehearsal dinner, a welcome reception, cocktail hour, dinner reception, after party, and welcome brunch. The hotel is quite large and really stunning, so we were able to host each event in a unique space with different menus, room layouts, decor and music. We also had our room block there, so our guests absolutely LOVED having so many events without having to travel anywhere. In addition, we had large suites for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready on site. Julie, Jabari, Joyce and all of the others were worked with were a dream team, making all of these events and many, many details come together so seamlessly. They were so friendly and responsive, and had so many great ideas and suggestions that we were able to incorporate. And the food was incredible, we are still getting compliments about the amazing food choices that were available at pretty much every turn! Thank you for making our wedding weekend beyond all of our greatest expectations!

We used the Westin Governor Morris as our wedding block for our wedding at Hamilton Farm Golf Club. We had a very large block of rooms and multiple requests to move people and add more rooms as the block filled up. The staff at the westin was more than willing to accommodate all of our many requests. They were also a great venue to host our welcome drinks, after party, and farewell brunch. And the hotel is beautiful and all of our guests had a great stay! Definitely recommend them if you're looking for a wedding room block in NJ.
