Exceptional Experience with Evgeniia at The Westin Jersey City! My wife and I recently held our wedding at The Westin Jersey City, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience, especially thanks to the incredible support we received from Evgeniia, the Senior Catering Sales Executive. We had several key events, including our mendhi, haldi, sangeet, and brunch, all at the hotel, and had a large number of family and friends staying on-site. From the very beginning, Evgeniia went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled seamlessly. When we initially hit a snag with our room block needing to be expanded, she worked tirelessly with management to secure the additional reservations we needed, eliminating the stress we felt when we thought we were out of luck. Her responsiveness, organization, and commitment to making sure our needs were met made a world of difference. Throughout the process, we made multiple changes to our schedule, room reservations, and event requirements, and every single time, Evgeniia handled them with grace and precision. She was always quick to address any concerns we had, no matter how small, and consistently went the extra mile to resolve any issues before they could escalate. A personal touch that meant the world to us was the handwritten notes and treats she left in our rooms upon arrival—it was clear that she truly cared about making our wedding special. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue and how smoothly everything was organized, and we know Evgeniia played a huge role in making that happen. can go on and on and on about how amazing the Westin is. My guests and I stayed at this hotel for my wedding in August. I'll start with just how beautiful the hotel itself is. The views of Manhattan are impeccable, the rooms are spacious and clean, the decor is modern and fun, and prices were very reasonable! I stayed in the Presidential Suite for my wedding, where I got ready with my best friends. What an amazing experience this was! As I said the views are fantastic and the suite is HUGE and beautiful. All the guests that stayed at the Westin for our hotel kept complimenting how lovely it was. Aside from the awesome decor and rooms at the hotel, what stands out even more is the staff. They are truly truly truly incredible!! I cannot emphasize this enough. I had been working with Izabela all year on the hotel block for our wedding in August. Having never met her, she was so accommodating and pleasant to work with, always finding a way to add more rooms as time went on when we needed. However; the real testament to how lovely and amazing the staff is came the day before our wedding, when my husband and I found out that the venue we were supposed to get married at (Battello, which is located directly across the street from the Westin), was shutting down, effective immediately. As you can imagine, this was a HUGE shock and nightmare to say the least. Izabela and her colleague Eddie, heard this information through a third party and literally came running to our rescue. They ran across the street to Battello (where me and my husband were) when they heard the news and from that moment on, they did not stop helping us until our situation was figured out. They chauffeured us throughout Hoboken trying to find us another venue to get married out. I kid you not! They are truly amazing people and our wedding would not have happened if it wasn't for their help. Everyone back at the Westin was just as sweet, only wanting the best for my husband and I, and doing anything they could to make us feel better!! I feel as if we gained friends that weekend! The wedding did wind up happening :) We had our after party at Fire & Oak, the restaurant in the Westin which had great food and drinks, all at a reasonable cost. We also hosted a brunch for our guests there the next morning which was just as delicious. I cannot say enough great things about the Westin and its staff. If you are in the area, I most definitely recommend staying there!
