Sarah at The Westin was amazing to work with. She took us on a little tour of the hotel / showed us some of the guest rooms before we booked our room block, and she continued to be such a helpful point of contact for us and our guests as we filled our room block for wedding weekend. The only negative experience I had was in booking the Bridal Get Ready Room for myself and my bridesmaids; I was not made aware until a few weeks before the wedding that outside food/beverage was not allowed in the room, so ended up having to spend more $$ than I wanted on that.

Thank you The Westin Mt Laurel staff for truly making our special day memorable for my new hubby and I, friends, and family! The Regency ballroom was the PERFECT size for my 90 guests. We received so many great compliments from friends and family about our wedding! All the staff was so attentive to me the bride and the groom and all the guests. I absolutely felt special, the food was AMAZING. OMG the cocktail hour food was STELLAR! There is plenty of parking at The Westin. Super satisfied with the venue we chose for our wedding!

We hosted our wedding block here. They went above and beyond to make sure guests were accommodated. Mark Parent is a Director of Sales and worth his weight in gold! Sammara, Mark, and Nicole were a pleasure to work with through the year. We even got a free shuttle to our nearby venue and a free room through the SPG program because we had so many bookings. We highly recommend them!

Our experience at The Westin was unbelievable. We held our June 2018 wedding in the Regency ballroom and everything was honestly perfect. The venue was gorgeous, friendly and attentive staff (Al is the man!), and the food was delicious. Lauren was our event coordinator and my compliments do not do her justice. She was always prepared and friendly during our phone calls, emails, and meetings before the event. She was extremely organized and genuinely excited for our wedding! It was like planning with a friend instead of someone who was “just doing their job”. The day of she was up early prepping the bridal room/grooms suite, had the ceremony room set up beautifully, and was with us every step of the way. Her room décor was spot on. I gave her ideas of what I thought and she transformed ideas into the perfect ceremony and reception room. Her attention to detail was spot on and made me feel so special. Lauren made our experience so great.
My only concern when we originally booked was the lack of outdoor photo areas, but I was wrong. There were plenty of places to take pictures indoors and Lauren knew the best spots! You just cannot beat the chandelier shot! There is also a gazebo outside which photographed beautifully. If you are worried about only having indoor pictures for wedding shots, there are several local parks just minutes away for those outdoor pictures.
If you are getting married or planning an event, book it with The Westin and make sure you get Lauren as your event coordinator.
Vendors used for our event were from The Westin’s preferred vendor list.

We held our wedding at The Westin in Mt. Laurel and could not be happier.
The facility itself is amazing; the ballroom is gorgeous and the entry way is grand as can be. The food served was delicious (according to our guests) and best of all Lauren is the perfect person to work with. Very professional, friendly and responsive we couldn't imagine our wedding without her. 5 stars for Lauren!
We looked at 5 hotels in the Mt. Laurel area and could not be happier that we chose The Westin.

Bride and Groom here shouting ..HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE...and work with Mr. Jeff Litman..I guarantee you will enjoy the traditional yet contemporary feel of the venue, the rapid service of the staff, and the fair and helpful nature of the above stated event coordinator. It was simply a marvelous experience using the Grand Ballroom for our wedding party of 205 guests!

Run far. This place does not care about weddings. They are more of a business hotel. They have such a gorgeous ballroom yet they do NO Maintance on it. Walked in the day before my wedding to set up, over 100 light bulbs were out in the chandeliers, toilet seats In the bathrooms were broken. Half the stalls were broken. Did not listen to our request for the bigger tables so when we walked in the day before they had to break every table down and reset it. We also caught one of the servers trying to take a couple of our favors. Finally, basically after they have your money, they don't care about anything else. They told us our belongings in the ballroom were "safe" came down the next morning to clean up and two centerpieces ( that were not ours) were gone. They refused to refund me for the centerpieces that were missing. When we left the ballroom we counted everything and it was all there. To say the VERY least this place does not know how to run a business. I would stay far away as they caused me a lot of frustration during a really big and important time in my life.

My daughter's reception was held at the Westin on 9/21/13. We contracted with the hotel in Sept. 2012. From day one, Melanie Gaffin and Lisa Cammarata were very helpful in answering any questions we had re the reception and the block of hotel rooms. I read some negative reviews and expressed my concerns with the manager. He immediately called me to assure that our day would be perfect. True to his word, the reception was amazing. The staff were very attentive, food was delicious and drinks were plentiful (very important ..lol) at both the cocktail hour and reception. We had approx. 200 people at the reception and all I heard was how beautiful everything was. Can't say much about the hotel room being that things were a little foggy by the time we retired. However, the next morning everything looked great. They even had our car keys at the front desk. Couldn't find them anywhere. Ovreall I would give the Westin Mt. Laurel a 10.

I originally picked the Westin for my reception because to me it was a one-stop shop kind of venue because of the hotel. But I found out it was more than just that. We had our reception in the Regency ballroom so our cocktail hour was held where the huge chandelier is, which is beautiful. The food although I must say I did not eat much of it was very very good. I received a lot of compliments about it, especially the cocktail hour appetizers. We had the seafood station and slider station as extras. We also did a cheese steak and chick cheese steak station at the end of the night for our guests that were still hungry and trust me there were a lot of hungry guests. The service was impeccable! Our head waiter for just me and my husband was outstanding. He always wanted to know if we were ok and he kept checking up on us. I wish I remembered his name because he deserves a lot of credit for how the night went for us. He was with us till the very end of the night, he helped take our birdcage with the cards inside, as well as anything else that belonged to us, up to our room. Melanie our wedding planner at the Westin did a fabulous job communicating with us every step of the way and making sure everything was perfect. You can tell she really cared about pleasing us and creating the best wedding we could possibly dream of. A lot of my guests said this was the best wedding they have ever been to and I honestly can say I think having our reception at the Westin contributed to that remark. The cost is probably on the higher end, but that is because we added extras, but you can build the reception around your budget and tastes. I also loved that the vendor choices for wedding cakes had specific ones for cupcakes and cakes, making it specialized in that aspect. Speaking of cupcakes (that is what we had as our "wedding cake"), the two women that put them in their appropriate bags did a wonderful job and I want to thank them for their hard work. I gave them specific instructions and they did everything I asked of them. Just goes to show that specific requests I had were taken seriously and done with no issues. Overall the quality was over the top and everything I thought it would be plus more. My other choices for wedding vendors were Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield and the Collingswood Ballroom. I am so happy I went with the Westin of Mount Laurel. They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend you book them for your wedding. It was great working with Melanie, you can tell she really loves what she does. One last side note...make sure you really check your last sign off of the venue, which you get about one week before the wedding. We thought we were getting Frank's sodas with our cheese steak station, but we didn't and Melanie informed us it wasn't on the final sign off and that's why they were not there. Not her fault, just an oversight on my part, but if you don't see something you thought you were having then let Melanie know ASAP. Excellent job Westin and Melanie!

When you think if your wedding day you think of family and friends and the love of your life waiting patiently for you at the end of the alter. Well with the assistance of Frank Bigwood and Gus amazing staff at The Westin Mount Laurel, that's exactly what my day was like. I enjoyed every single moment of it! The amazing venue did such justice in my wedding photos, the Regency Ballroom was just the right size for my wedding if 170 folks, and the staff were attentive and patient! I could go on and on about my experience but I would rather you book your big day with The Westin Mount Laurel and experience it all first hand for yourself. Tell Frank and the staff Mrs. Sierra says hello!

Although our wedding venue and schedule changed due to mother nature (i.e. Hurricane Irene), The Westin Hotel helped make our day a true miracle. My husband and I were planning a wedding at the Beth El Synagogue in Voorhees, NJ. However, at 8am on the morning of the wedding day, we were informed that the power was out in the synangoge, and that we would need to cancel the wedding, reschedule for a different day, or find a new venue. Luckily, the Westin Hotel, where my family and I had been staying for the wedding weekend (i.e. rehearsal dinner and brunch) had an available ballroom. That morning, my family met with the event manager, Melanie, who did everything in her power to organize the perfect wedding day. Melanie helped make sure that all the original plans (i.e. room decorations, draping, florist set up, original catering, band set up) would continue to be a reality. She cared about every little detail. The staff at the Westin were amazing, professionl, friendly, courteous, and welcoming. In a matter of 4 hours, the staff at the Westin were able to set up a spectacular cocktail area space, ceremony room, and reception ballroom. The wait staff were extremely friendly and professional. Thank you Westin- for helping to make our dreams come true during a day that we thought might not happen.

I got married at The Westin this past New Years Eve. As soon as we met Melanie (the director of catering) and the entire Westin staff we knew that we were in incredibly good hands and booked with them right away. Right from the start - working with Melanie and the entire staff, from booking rooms, to catering to each and every step of the planning we were treated wonderfully. I was able to be in constant email contact with Melanie and she answered all of my questions and bent over backwards to work with our budget and give us our dream wedding. Our wedding was absolute perfection - and the staff catered to our every need. They were one step ahead of anything I thought I could possibly want or need. We had a kosher wedding - we used their amazing in house kosher catering. The food was so incredible - and so many guests called to say how delicious the food was!! We also got so many comments from our guests about the wonderful service they received from the Westin staff. Everyone was fed their delicious meals hot and so efficiently - and they had 300 people to feed! The ballroom and the room where we had our ceremony was so beautiful - we could not have been happier about the space we had and Melanie worked so hard to give us everything we asked for.
If you want a beautiful venue with amazing staff, great service and delicious food - The Westin Mt. Laurel is it!

My husband and I had a perfect fall wedding at the The Westin Mount Laurel. The booking process went very smoothly, all meetings leading up to the wedding for helpful and informative, and the wedding day was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was amazing. And the service was exceptional! Every single person waiting on us hand and foot! It was a pleasure to work with everyone at The Westin Mount Laurel and I would definitely hole another event there!

I chose to have my wedding at the Westin Mount Laurel after attending several other beautiful weddings there. The hotel itself is beautiful, the ballroom is elegant, and the food (a big selling point for me) is delicious. While I loved the service I received from everyone from the bellman to the wait staff during the weekend of the wedding, the wedding coordinator made things very difficult for me. Throughout the planning process, she was unorganized, unresponsive, condescending and dishonest. She also spent the majority of our meeting time gossiping about other people, many of which I knew. She made it seem as if my routine questions, such as what time can we begin pictures or when can my vendors start setup were a huge burden for her to answer. The Westin Mount Laurel would have received a five star rating in terms of every other detail of my wedding, if only someone else had run the show. In an economy where so many smart, talented people are out of work, surely the Westin could choose someone else for such an important position.

I had my wedding cocktail hour and reception in the Westin's Atrium and Regency Ballroom. The rooms, decor, food, and service staff were excellent. Aside from that, the management is ever-changing, inconsistent, unreliable, unresponsive, and inhospitable. Be sure to get everything in a contract, so that you won't be disappointed and they won't become defensive towards your requests. Check in to your "complimentary bridal suite" before your reception, or your gifts, bouquet, cards, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, etc. might end up in another bride's room before the end of the night.

Several times we have had to correct problems caused by management. They do not communicate with the desk clerks effectively nor are they thorough in their own work. Several times we were assured things were "all set" only to find they had not been taken care of, causing multiple inconveniences. There are plenty of decent alternatives nearby.

I booked my wedding at the Westin because I had been to a wedding there a few years back and loved it. However... a few years ago the catering/booking was run by someone different.
I was completely disappointed with the service I received from Melanie (catering something or other). She was completely clueless. She changed the plans on me several times... by plans I mean like what time and when I was supposed to bring my reception decor! My florist arrived at the correct time and the other party... which they had booked that week... was still going on!
Needless to say..... I will never speak to that woman again. I'd rather save my breath.

I had my wedding ceremony and the reception here. They did an amazing job. Almost everything on my wedding day was perfect they made one little mistake and mixed up the seating arrangements at the reception, but, if that was the worst thing to happen, i'll take it! Besides that everything else was flawless. I did a candy buffet and they did an amazing job to make it look perfect! The staff were so nice and helpful during the entire event. Also, the food was delicious!! There was a bar to hang at after the event which was also a nice perk.

After visiting several venues, I decided The Westin Mt. Laurel was giving me the most for my budget. It took a lot of time and energy traveling to several places before making decision. A contract was drawn and emailed to me and I was to submit my signed contract and deposit on a particular Friday. I called the person I was dealing with several times that Friday, leaving several messages and I did not get back a response. I was not going to go there without an appt as they could be very busy. I tried back the following week a few times and finally reached a live person and was told the person I was dealing with was no longer there ande that they would not honor the agreement I had made with him because the prices he quoted me were to low for a Friday night in the space I wanted. After being transfered to several people I was told because the contract was not signed they did not have to honor it and the only way they would was if I were to guarantee them 25 more people. I was so upset! I refused to add 25 more people to my list which would have cost me so much more money! I could not believe this was happening to me. I only had less than 6 months left to try to find another Venue. I would not wish this on anyone. I will never attempt to do business with them again.

Good price for nice venue. Nothing spectacular but can pull off elegance. Nice to have the free stay at the hotel the night of your wedding also. I don't know if I was just very on top of things but my wedding coordinator rarely contacted me even after she said "I'd get tired of hearing from her especially the week before the wedding"...otherwise food and service was above par!
