Our wedding at the Westin was unbelievable. Truly memorable and such a pleasure to work with the staff at The Westin Philadelphia. Every one was so professional and helped me with every step of the way to make sure my special day was exactly how I always dreamed it would be!
Thank you for taking such great care of our guests. arranging the room block was easy and the communication to and from the hotel was excellent.
My wedding was the absolute BEST weekend of my life, and it is largely thanks to The Westin! The venue was magnificent, and the staff was nothing short of phenomenal. Kailey, Pat, Lauren, Malcolm, and the rest of the staff couldn't have been more attentive and kinder, and I am so glad I had my wedding there. I would do it all again in a second!
Oy, how do I even begin to describe the magic that is the Westin Philadelphia?
The hotel is classy, warm, and absolutely stunning. Moreover, the staff gave my guests, my husband, and me the wedding weekend of a lifetime. Everything from the customer service to the food (all of the food prepared by Chef Mary Lochary is mouth-wateringly delicious) was unforgettable. The overnight guests were all raving about their respective experiences.
I would like to specifically acknowledge Kailey, Rebecca, and Malcolm for being so kind, attentive, and detail oriented throughout the entire process. They treated my family and me like we were lifelong friends, and they worked hard to ensure that everything was smooth-sailing. The entire staff and service team are absolutely amazing, with both their manners and their professionalism.
I couldn't be happier with my decision to get married at the Westin Philadelphia. My wedding was almost two weeks ago, and I still feel like I am on a cloud. Many of the guests have commented that it was the warmest, most elegant wedding they have ever been to, and I truly believe it's the magic of The Westin Philadelphia!
I'll say this in as few words as possible, as I'm sure you all have read through a gajillion reviews- the team with the Westin (Lauren, Kailey, Rebecca, Pat, and Meghan) are considered family to us now. BEAUTIFUL venues, best price points, the best service - highly recommend!
We had our wedding block, Friday Welcome, and Sunday Brunch at The Westin Philadelphia, and it was a perfect home base for our wedding weekend.
My now husband and I (and our dog) stayed in a presidential suite and it was BEAUTIFUL! There was a snack and sparkling water set up to welcome us, and the front desk sent up a doggie bed, a placemat for our dog’s water/food bowls, and doggie bags. We were so impressed with the level of service our beloved pup received. The Westin even allowed us to bring our dog to the Friday and Sunday events!
Our Friday Welcome and Sunday Brunch were held in the Georgian Room which was an upgrade. If I were making the selection again, I would easily choose the Georgian Room and pay the additional cost. The Georgian Room has beautiful deco, large windows, and was just the most lovely atmosphere to host guests for our events.
The food was outstanding, but it was the level of service that really put the events over the top. All of the servers were so kind, attentive, and professional. It was a level of service that is rare to find and really stood out.
Everyone who worked at The Westin was wonderful. When we checked in, the front desk had all our wedding details to share with our guests including our church, shuttle, and reception locations and times.
Sydne, my contact at The Westin, was so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process and made everything feel very seamless.
Sydne offered to keep the hotel bar/restaurant (The Lea) open late on Saturday for guests when they returned from our reception. It was great to be able to have a low-key after party right in the hotel where many guests were staying. Once again, the bartenders were excellent!
You can’t beat the location of The Westin. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood is so charming and there is access to many shops and restaurants. We got married at St. Patrick’s which is a short walk from The Westin and we did family group photos in Rittenhouse Square Park which was beautiful with everything blooming in April.
We can’t recommend The Westin enough. If you are looking for an idyllic location to host your guests, don’t hesitate to trust The Westin!
My husband Khary and I can't say enough good things about The Westin. Our event organizer, Rebecca, was always so polite and helpful throughout the entire process, it really put our minds at ease and allowed us to not worry so much about venue-related details.
The food was truly outstanding. Not only was it a breeze to plan for thanks to Chef Mary not requiring we get our guest's orders in advance, but we also could not believe how fresh and tasty everything was. For example, we chose dumplings as one of our cocktail hour hors d'oeuvre, and instead of simply serving dumplings on a cold plate, they literally had an assortment of bamboo steamers over boiling water with fresh, hot steamed dumplings for guests to plunk and snack on while mingling. That was absolutely not necessary, but little details and embellishments like that go a long way and make the food and atmosphere feel special.
For another example of their attention to details: while of course we had a florist handle most of the decorations, we were delighted to find out wedding day that Rebecca & the team took tasteful design cues from the seating chart we made and gracefully incorporated them into the signage and menus. Designing that signage was something we straight-up forgot about, but The Westin had our backs and helped make even those details we overlooked personal for our guests.
Finally, there's of course the team of individuals actually tearing down and setting up everything for the day, led by Pat. Not once that entire weekend did we have to worry about whether or not everything would be set up the way we envisioned and discussed, Pat & the team operated with such speed and professionalism we knew from the moment we peaked into the start of setup that morning that the night was in fully capable hands. Pat was always so cheerful as well, we always got the sense he & the team took great pride in what they do and that it was never a burden to answer our many questions or walk us through the placements.
If you're looking for a gorgeous venue with a team you can trust, you're found it here with The Westin.
As the Mother of the Bride, The Westin was spectacular! Lanay, Pat and Sydne were extremely professional and great to work with. They made sure every detail of the wedding was perfect for us and our guests! The newly renovated hotel is beautiful and the food was delicious! We had a brunch the next day at the hotel and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend The Westin for a wedding.
Lanay, Pat and Sydne were the BEST! We had our event on October 2, 2021 and the entire day was amazing. Our friends and family had the best time and cannot stop talking about how delicious the food was throughout the night. The staff was organized, professional and experienced. Highly recommend and you will be in great hands if you book your wedding at The Westin!
I am the mother of a bride so I had the most contact with Lauren at the Westin planning my daughter"s wedding. It was the best experience I could have hoped for. She is amazing!! And the wedding itself was awesome, no stine left unturned. The food was delicious, not easy for 230 people. Patrick the Banquet Manager was incredible. Between these two it was like having a party planner! Additionally we had over 100 people staying at the hotel, all of whom had a great experience. The staff, from the doormen to the servers to the maintenance people were are so friendly and responsive. Literally guests were hugging their servers at the end of the wedding. I honestly couldn't have had a more positive experience. This venue is amazing and should be considered for any special occasion event!!
We had a wonderful stay and experience at the Westin Philadelphia when we stayed for our wedding weekend in November! Our wedding block guests were impressed with the comfortable rooms, and we were blown away at the impeccable quality of our suite along with the exceptional customer service. The rooms were gorgeous and we loved the convenient location and prices you offered us and our guests. Many thanks to the Westin for helping to make our wedding weekend so memorable. We look forward to our next stay!
Loved having our wedding here 11/5/16. Jim and the whole team were amazing! Everything was beyond organized and perfect. From Jim and Pat to every server, bartender and staff member - we could not have been more pleased. Truly a pleasure to work with. They had a wonderful tasting for us and made sure every detail was complete! Highly recommend this venue!!!
As parents of the bride, we were thrilled with the wedding reception for our daughter at the Westin hotel in Philadelphia on New Years Eve. The menu, from cocktail hour to dessert was wonderful. The service was beyond exceptional. Pat and Lauren were amazing as was the entire staff. Every one of the 200 guests were thrilled with the evening. It could not have been better. I highly recommend this beautiful venue to anyone considering a wedding in Center City Phila.
We recently got married at The Westin. Neil, Pat and the rest of the staff did a great job of keeping things running smoothly and were very accommodating! The food was excellent and the room is gorgeous with the big chandeliers. The only complaint was the cost of over night parking but I can handle that because our wedding couldn't have been any more perfect.
We recently had our wedding at the Westin, and they really did a great job. Planning a wedding is always stressful, but they took care of so many of the small details and made the day run smoothly. The guests commented that the reception flowed nicely. The food was excellent, and the service was great as well. We had both our ceremony and reception there and were happy with that decision. The only complaint that hotel guests had was about the high cost of valet parking, which is a pain, but it's Center City so I think parking would be expensive anywhere nearby.
Wow, we had our wedding at The Westin Philadelphia. The reception was in the Georgain Room and it is absolutely stunning for a daytime wedding. Intimate, beautiful, elegant, sophisticated, lots of big windows with wonderful natural light, beautiful molding, and colors that work with everything.
The staff from the head of catering sales to the bell man, provided exceptional quality service. They were responsive, attentive and perfectly met my wishes as well as budget. They made sure that the day of our wedding went perfectly!
The room cost was free, we just paid for food and were also able to negotiate to meet our budget. The food was more than abundant and our tasting was formal, delicious, and so personal.
I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. It was a dream wedding!
The room was beautiful. The Staff was superb.
