Julia was exceptional! I seriously could not ask for a more perfect day and Julia ensured every detail I imagined for our day came to life. She was very responsive and always available to meet. Julia was there Thursday and Friday before our wedding on Saturday ensuring our space was perfect, that includes helping to set up 16 Christmas trees!
My guest were blown away by this beautiful ballroom and the Westin as a whole. The food was great and people loved the late night bite. The day after brunch was a perfect touch as well.
If you are looking for a gorgeous ballroom and a care free planning experience the Westin is your ideal venue. I cannot recommend them enough!

We had done our diligence on Pittsburgh wedding venues and had a day set up where we toured 8 or so locations. When we got to the Westin and met with Kelly & her team, we knew the Westin was where we wanted to have our wedding. The venue was very modern, clean, elegant, large - everything we were looking for!
Throughout the planning process, Kelly & Julia were there for all of our questions. They gave recommendations for other vendors, how we should set everything up, and various other recommendations. On our wedding day both Julia and Kelly were there running around getting everything set up and making sure it was perfect. They are amazing at what they do and such a pleasure to work with! We had the best wedding day ever and can't thank Kelly & Julia enough for their part in making that happen! The entire staff at The Westin was truly exceptional. We cannot recommend The Westin enough!

date due to COVID, we got in contact with the Westin and they were willing to work with us on moving our wedding reception to their Grand ballroom. We were so grateful and appreciative of their flexibility, quick turnaround and their optimistic approach to bringing our wedding vision to life! They were extremely communicative with us throughout the process, which really helped considering my fiancé and I live in a different state. h a significant “wow-factor” and this venue delivered! The dance floor is in the middle of the room so every single one of the guests had a great seat to view things like the cake cutting, dances, etc. We opted for a sit-down dinner style and we received many guest compliments about the delicious food. Although planning a wedding during covid was at times stressful and nerve racking, Kelly helped every step of the way and made sure I didn’t have anything to worry about. Kelly ensured that all communication was very open and always responded promptly to any questions that came up. I did not hire a professional wedding planner, but with all of Kelly’s help I definitely didn’t need one! She made everything we envisioned a reality and we are so grateful! My husband and I highly recommend the Westin Pittsburgh to any couple planning their upcoming wedding!

ther venues. By some miracle, The Westin was available for our date (with 4 months to go) and they gave us the assurance we needed that our wedding would happen, so we made the switch. This was the BEST decision we could have made. The reception was absolutely perfect! We used the large ballroom which provided plenty of space for all of our guests, band and large dance floor. Bonus - you have the entire floor to yourself and the foyer outside of the ballroom makes for the perfect cocktail space. Kelly and her team at The Westin were phenomanal from the day we met her. She was so accomodating and amazing to work with. Especially during covid, she made sure the transition from the WP to the Westin was seamless. From every detail of the reception, to the room block, to the multiple meetings we had leading up to the wedding, I could not have asked for more from her. To top it all off, we ended the night at Bill's Bar for our after party which was so fun! If you want a downtown wedding, The Westin is the perfect choice. We got countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the reception was, how perfect the space was and how awesome it was that they could just head up to their room at the end of the night. I could go on and on, but it's simple: Book your wedding reception at The Westin!!

yone was so kind and attentive. With postponing our wedding, there was a lot of unknowns, but the Westin consistently updated us with information. Our wedding was flawless— the food was incredible (all of our guests can attest), the hospitality was amazing, the guest rooms are spacious and clean, and the Allegheny Ballroom is absolutely gorgeous and can be completely transformed from a beautiful ceremony space to an amazing reception space. There was not one detail missed. I honestly cannot say enough positive things. If you want a gorgeous ballroom wedding, pick the Westin, I promise you will not be disappointed. We had our dream wedding and more; there was not a single thing we would’ve changed or done differently. The team there is incredible!

timate wedding and we weren’t going to need the traditional amount of resources and the staff was happy to help us. They accommodated all of our requests no matter how small. The event staff was very quick to respond and I never felt like I was sending too many emails. When the day finally arrived, they greeted us in the lobby and assisted in unloading. We were upgraded to a suite and they sent us little gifts throughout our stay to celebrate our event. They made the entire thing so stress free. The staff did an amazing job setting up the decorations and helped what we pictured in our heads come to life. The food was delicious, the room was spacious and beautiful, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Checking out was a breeze as they broke down the room and had everything waiting for us at concierge. As a bride you always hear stories of a day filled with stress or something going wrong, but The Westin took care of every detail, allowing me to enjoy my day without worry or stress. Thank you to all the staff at the Westin, specifically Becky and Lindsey for everything they did to help make my day perfect.

team were professional, supportive, and accommodating to all of our needs throughout the planning process and the evening of the event. Becky always had the answers to every single one of our questions within 24 hours. It really helped us plan everything we wanted timely so that we could move onto the next item.
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Every single guest commented on how the food was the best wedding food they have ever experienced. With 200+ guests, we were very impressed with the quality and presentation!
I would recommend the Westin to any couple planning a wedding or an event :)

a planner who is no longer with the Westin. She was a little bit scattered, but l work in event planning myself so I was able to make sure we stayed on track. When she left, we began working with Becky, who could not be more helpful and friendly. She did a great job making sure my vision came to life and ensuring every detail was perfect for our day. Unfortunately, we did have some challenges after our wedding. An expensive bottle of scotch that my husband received as a gift from his groomsmen (who each signed the bottle, making it a nice keepsake) “disappeared” from the bridal party’s assigned meeting room, which we had been promised would be locked and fine to leave purses and belongings in. I also purchased 80 copper mugs for our signature drink of a Moscow Mule, which they volunteered to wash before and after the wedding. They clearly put them in a dishwasher after the wedding, as about 75% of them came back destroyed. They were quite expensive to purchase, and I planned on selling them after the wedding but can no longer do so. I am disappointed by the lack of caring/resolution of these issues, especially after having such a great experience leading up to and during our wedding day.

If you want an absolutely stunning wedding venue with even better food the Westin is your place! My husband and I chose the Westin for numerous reasons: the look, location, space, ...
staff, and especially the privacy. We've been to weddings at other venues where there were numerous ballrooms so close together that you could hear the commotion of the other events. The Westin does not have this issue!
The Westin's Allegheny Ballroom is not only huge, but it is also on it's own floor so you have complete privacy from other weddings and events. The Westin also has a newly renovated bar on the lobby floor for your guests who want to continue the party after the wedding. The hotel rooms are also wonderful and clean. I know I already mentioned the food, but it is worth mentioning again because it was spectacular! There is a variety of menu options to choose from for your special day and they are all to die for!
I wish I could have my reception all over again!!!

We had our reception in the PA ballroom, and it came out absolutely beautiful. The food is DELICIOUS!!! The cake is from Fenoglietto's, and is included in the contract- delicious and beautiful cake. The Westin did everything they could to make the weekend perfect for us, and it truly was perfect. We could not have asked for anything more!!
