the Westin Riverwalk is the place to have your wedding! The staff was amazing and sooo helpful. Felix was so supportive the whole day to my husband and I. Anything we needed we got the entire day. He also hilarious! The front desk was super friendly and all my out of town guests were very happy with the service. When it came time for wedding reception, It was out of a dream! The Hidalgo ballroom looked GORGEOUS. The dinner service was amazing, drinks and the ambiance.
The star of the show is Yojainna. It would not have happened without Yojainna! She is forever in our hearts and are so grateful she was part of our entire wedding process. We have a long chain of emails and that will show you that she was super attentive the entire time she helped us with our wedding. From the reserving, to tastings, to walkthroughs she was very flexible and heard us out in every way! Anything, we wanted, we got and it was all thanks to her and her amazing team. On our wedding night, we had strawberries, champagne and chocolates waiting for us! We are forever grateful to the Westin and will always remember how amazing they did on our wedding weekend! Thank you to everyone at the Westin!!!!

be limited, etc. That was not the case. Yojainna (dir. of catering) and Pedro ( dir. of banquets) were great! Excellent communication and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. Only complaint we have is on the front desk. Several guests mentioned they were rude, had no knowledge of the wedding, and in general not great with customer service.

igh expectations of the Chef, staff, and facilities. Things started off bumpy with our original point of contact. However, the Director of Catering, Yojainna, quickly stepped in to turn things around. Yojainna checked in with us several times a week during the months leading up to our wedding, which we really appreciated, and actually emailed us afterwards while we were on our honeymoon to wish us a good time. And when two of our guests booked a non-refundable rate at another Marriott-brand hotel, Yojainna personally called the other hotel to get our guests a refund so they could book at The Westin Riverwalk under our room block. She accommodated every request we had, without struggle, and even surprised us with additional things like upgraded rooms for our immediate families and welcome signs throughout the hotel from Thurs - Sunday featuring a photo of us from our engagement photo shoot. And while Yojainna was our main point of contact, and therefore the one I know the best, there were so many other amazing staff who went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend incredible. (Big shout out to Pedro!)

The food was fantastic and the margaritas were so good we had to order extra. Every detail was taken care of for us, so there was nothing to stress about on the day of. They think of everything. They have two ballrooms on the river, which is a great perk, especially with out of town guests. I would highly recommend the Westin for a wedding reception!

The catering manager and crew did a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly from the cocktail hour through dancing - for about 300 people! No major snafus or problems.
