The Whitlock Inn

We FINALLY had our wedding at this beautiful location on May 16. I was one of the "lucky" Covid brides. We were originally planning our wedding for April 2020. We moved our date to August and had to move again to May of 2021. The staff at The Whitlock Inn were absolutely amazing through the whole thing. Rhonda was fantastic to work with through the whole experience. She was quick to respond to all our questions and concerns with a kind and understanding demeanor. When the day finally arrived Janice had the whole thing running as smooth as silk. After a year of craziness the wedding day went off without a hitch, fully due to their amazing staff. It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen and I'm so thankful it was mine! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about the Whitlock Inn. We got married here on 5-22-21 and it was a DREAM! Kathy and her team are the best of the best. Everyone was super helpful during the planning process and I swear all my my emails were answered within an hour of me sending it. The day of the wedding, her staff was so attentive (shout out to Janice!!!) My wine glass never went empty. And let’s not forget about how GORGEOUS the venue is. The redesign is beautiful. We had our ceremony in the back garden and the flowers were in full bloom, the trees shaded the sun, the birds were singing, it was MAGICAL!!! We had an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour in the parlor rooms and the porch so guests could take advantage of the summer evening. We used the ballroom for our reception and it was spacious but also intimate. We made sure to take advantage of every gorgeous space. The bridal suite was amazing and so useful. I had a dress change so it was nice to run upstairs and have a large area to get changed. Can I just get married here every weekend?!?!?!? 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff of the Whitlock Inn truly made our wedding day the ultimate dream come true. They are incredibly flexible and available for any questions or changes, are genuinely some of the kindest people you will meet, and will (literally) track you down and make sure you have eaten on your wedding day (trust me brides, you will 100% forget to eat so this special touch is a game changer!). Not only that, the Whitlock itself is absolutely breathtaking from the outside porch to the newly renovated rooms with gold accents and chandeliers. It's the perfect intimate, cozy space that is deceivingly large and accommodating. Truly cannot rave about the staff enough! They are the most thoughtful and organized people out there!

We had our wedding at the Whitlock Innon July 25th. Rhonda and Janice were amazing to work with! The Whitlock Inn is absolutely beautiful! We had to change our date due to limitations of COVID19 and they helped me change to a date where we would have more confidence. We had the most perfect wedding at the Whitlock Inn!!! ❤❤

The Whitlock Inn makes dreams come true! From the very first interaction and tour, to the farewell after our wedding, it could not have been more perfect! The venue is elegant, classic and magical. The staff is AMAZING, professional, excellent & makes you feel like family! If you are looking for the most romantic, elegant wedding venue, look no further than the Whitlock Inn!

We had such a great experience working with Alexis and her staff. After we discovered the Whitlock, my then-fiance called Alexis for information and set up a time for my mom and I to tour the place. We booked our wedding before we left the place that day. Our wedding planner, Janice, was very helpful with organizing the details of the day. She even checked out a nail salon for me to take my bridal party to the day before our wedding, and she was also understanding when we had to make some last minute changes to our schedule. We had a wonderful wedding at a beautiful venue, and received so many compliments from people on the location. Thank you all for the wonderful memories you gave us at the start of our new life together!! The Whitlock Inn will always have a special place in our hearts!

The staff at The Whitlock Inn could not have been more helpful in the planning of our reception. Alexis, Rhonda, and Janice went out of their way to be accommodating and to attend to every detail of the evening, all we had to do was enjoy our special day! With its porches and gardens, The Whitlock Inn is a beautiful and charming historic venue.

I can't tell you how happy I was to have chosen Whitlock Inn as my venue! They stood out immediately after we saw 3 or 4 other venues - it's the perfect place to host weddings, but didn't feel like a wedding "factory" as many others did. We ultimately chose Whitlock because of the close proximity to Marietta Square (where we wanted to have our rehearsal dinner as well), the spacious floor plan, beautiful back yard, and the extremely reasonable pricing. We initially worked with Rhonda, who is so energetic and funny, and she patiently walked us through everything and was so patient with all of our questions. After we put our deposit down, the rest was a breeze - very well coordinated and convenient. All of the ladies I contacted and worked with were so gracious and made me feel like I was their only bride! Our wedding day turned out so beautifully and everything went as planned. I really, really enjoyed our magical (and stress-free!) day, and that is owed in huge part to everyone at Whitlock Inn and Carriage House catering. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing!

My wife and I recently got married at the Whitlock Inn in Marietta. Let me start off by saying most of the photos found on the internet DO NOT do this venue justice. The house and it’s grounds are absolutely beautiful! A timeless and classy venue among a sea of trendy barns and boring event halls. Alexis and Rhonda were so friendly and helpful every step of the process, from our first visit, right up to our wedding day! The wedding director, Janis went above and beyond to make our day as special and as smooth as it could be. The feedback we have received from our guests has been nothing but positive as well. The Whitlock Inn made for such a great back drop for our wedding photos, and the sneak peeks our photographer sent us so far have all been phenomenal! I would highly recommend stopping in to the Whitlock and seeing for yourself if you are planning a wedding in the area!

My husband and I (still feels weird writing that) were recently married at The Whitlock Inn and we could not have had a better experience. There are so many reasons why The Whitlock Inn was the best pick for us, but the number one reason is for the service we received. Alexis, Rhonda, and Janice were all so wonderful and were so patient with all of our questions. These three ladies were there for us through every step of the process and they truly cared about us and making our day perfect. The service we received was such a plus, but before we knew how great they were, there were several things that were drawing us towards choosing The Whitlock Inn as our venue. The first was that it was conveniently located (within a mile) near a large hotel that could house all of our out of town guests. It was important to us that our guests were close by. Secondly, it is located across the street from the Marietta Square, which would provide many food options for our guests. We needed to make sure everyone was well fed as that is the proper Southern thing to do. Lastly, the venue was beautiful and has a deep history. After recently moving to Marietta, we wanted to share the history of our town and the beauty of the Inn with all of our guests.

We could not have asked for a better wedding at The Whitlock. I can not say enough about Janice and Alexis, they were caring, calming, fun, and just so on it every time I needed something. The staff was friendly and professional. The house was a dream. 5 stars is not even close to enough!

Our daughter just got married at the Whitlock Inn and the day was amazing. We worked with Rhonda from our first visit through the entire process. She was a wonderful resource and provided us with practical advice. She met with the bride and groom on several occasions and they decided on all of the details. On the wedding day, Rhonda was our on-site coordinator and she kept things running smoothly. She stayed calm and adjusted the schedule to accommodate a last minute delay. The setting was beautiful and we received so many compliments on the quality of the food and the great service of the staff. Rhonda and staff were wonderful and we had a great experience.

I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and effort made by everyone at the Whitlock Inn to make my wedding day as perfect as it was. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful venue to any bride looking for a great location with an amazing staff. They are very responsive and flexible right til the day of your wedding. I had a lot of rain the morning of my wedding but we made a last minute call to have my ceremony out from under our tent since the rain stopped and their team worked hard to quickly move all of our chairs into position! Lindsey was my day of coordinator and she went above and beyond from always being available via phone/email to actually helping us transport items after our wedding was over. The icing on the cake to all of this is how beautiful the house and backyard is all year round. Go see for yourself!

The Whitlock Inn is by far one of the best wedding venues to work with. They help you set up the ideal furniture layout, work with you on setting up vendors (food and flowers), and even have lists of suggestions for photographers, videographers etc. Their preferred vendors are a pleasure to work with as well (the flow of getting food and flowers in is near perfect and the food is AMAZING!). Their staff is kind, answer all questions quickly and efficiently. They are not pushy, and know a lot about the venue. You truly are crafting your own wedding with colors, location of buffets, and other various options. Don't be afraid to ask if they can do something because often times they can. When we started looking for venues it was a PAIN. We had to ask 1000+ questions, pricing was always changing, weekends required alcohol ($$ several thousand+). At the Whitlock they have all that information up front. You can select different packages based on the size that is right there for you. You truly are crafting your own wedding with a team that is professional, helpful, and knowledgable. The location itself is BEAUTIFUl. The ballroom is simple in layout but elegant when it all comes together. Each room is unique (in color and design) and the grounds out front, and back are well maintained. There are so many amazing places to take photos. The rooms can be used as photo spots when getting ready, the stairs out back as well as the garden are amazing for first looks, and the front is great for wedding party and family pictures. Don't judge it by your first look, really imagine it filled and with people it it comes together beautifully. We are so grateful to the Whitlock Inn, as well as their partnering vendors for making this a truly spectacular day. We are 100% satisfied and so happy we chose them! -Carpe Diem

What a delightful experience we had, when our children chose to get married here! As parents helping to organize a wedding (our first time!), we were very nervous. We could see all of the costs up front. But they were not out of line, if everything happened the way it should. But what if we missed something? What if something unexpected came up? Would they make everything right? Well, the Whitlock team came through with an outstanding display of service and consideration. The wedding was beautiful, and everything was as it should have been. They helped us to organize, and guided us with check lists and reminders at every step. They also dealt with issues that came up, and they handled them so smoothly that no one even noticed. And they did so with style and grace. We used their recommended caterer (Carriage House) and florist (Carithers Flowers). That also helped because they already knew the venue, and the sizes and quantities of everything we needed for the group we planned. And it all worked together without issue. They are also experienced with an extremely wide variety of Wedding customs. Every question was addressed with an immediate and knowledgeable answer, and a solid recommendation. But they allowed the couple to make the final choices, and then they made it happen. We can’t say enough good things about Alexis, Rhonda, Janice, and the whole Whitlock Inn experience. Just fantastic.

Our wedding at the Whitlock Inn was absolute perfection. Rhonda, Alexis, and Janice were the epitome of professionalism and fun! They accommodated all of our needs to make our wedding day spectacular. On top of the amazing women who work there, the venue itself is beautiful and elegant! We were married in the backyard facing the home and it was exactly what we dreamed of! Our reception in the ballroom was the perfect size for our guests as well as a dancefloor!

The Whitlock Inn is a beautiful sitting and the service they provided was top notch. The catering from Carriage House was delicious and beautifully presented. Whitlock’s management and staff were professional and friendly. All our guest told us how much they enjoyed the venue.

Choosing the Whitlock Inn was the first major decision we made for the wedding. We loved that the house was beautiful and would not require many decorations and that so much was included when you booked the venue (linens, place settings, set up, clean up, decorative flowers, cake, wait staff, and a day-of coordinator). Janice was our day-of-coordinator and she was flexible when flights were delayed and allowed us to push the rehearsal a few hours which meant the bridal party could attend. She also went through the buffet for us (bride and groom), got us drinks, made sure that we could enjoy the reception and visit with our family and friends, AND she as a joy to be around. Rhonda is at the Whitlock day-to-day and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about everything wedding. She walked us through all the catering options and was a joy to work with. We wound up bringing in our own cake as the baker the Whitlock used was unable to fulfill the request of a more dense batter (theirs was delicious, but very airy). We received a credit back of $3/person for the cake since we brought our own. The overall cost originally had us hesitating on choosing the Whitlock, but with the attention to detail and so much included it was worth every penny. The people here care and work hard to make your day great.

I am so glad I came across the Whitlock Inn. From the moment I walked in I knew this was the venue I had to say my vows in. From its wonderful history flowing throughout the inn to the gorgeous flowers in the garden, the Whitlock Inn was completely unique and full of character. I loved working with Rhonda and Alexis, they were both incredibly professional and were so detail oriented. They made sure I never had any questions left unanswered, they made me feel so comfortable, and the entire wedding went off without a single hitch! The wedding coordinator that they have on site, Janice, was phenomenal and helped in every way possible, the caterers used in house were fantastic, and every meeting I had with them made me even more excited to use them for my ceremony and reception, and the food was delicious!. Everything was perfect and stress-free, and also very affordable and covered so much! They included the ceremony, reception, catering, wedding coordinator, cake, linens, tables, chairs, large centerpieces, and so much more! They made everything so easy!

The wedding I attended here was absolutely gorgeous! Alexis went above and beyond to ensure everyone in the bridal party was taken care of throughout the wedding day and after (considering some of us left some items behind). Thank you for a beautiful day!

Our wedding at the Whitlock couldn't have been more beautiful! Alexis, Rhonda, and Janice were incredibly warm and made planning all the details of the day so much easier. When you walk in to view the venue it's hard not to fall in love with all the Victorian/antebellum style the inn has to offer. Plus, they have so much already included in their wedding packages that it saved us a ton on decorations. You can rest easy knowing that the Whitlock team specializes in weddings so no matter what happens your guests will be too impressed with the atmosphere and food to even notice. Simply put, without the Whitlock our special day wouldn't have been the same- thank you guys for your hand in our happily ever after!:)

WE HAD THE MOST MAGICAL FLAWLESS WEDDING 11/17/18 ❤️Janice orchestrated the evening seamlessly! Alexis was there every step of the way, including a trip to the hotel when she noticed an error in our seating cards. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue. Carriage House Catering did a wonderful job with the food, we are still hearing about how delicious everything was. Thank you Laurie. The wait staff were so professional and personable! Nikki, with Carithers Florist created the perfect look that we were looking for with our flowers. Everything was spectacular! Ballroom Blitz and Rene kept everyone on the dance floor for hours, we did not want this evening to end❤️❤️❤️

My daughter got married at the Whitlock Inn back in September and our experience with the venue and staff could not have been better! The staff were attentive to every detail of the day and went above and beyond to make sure the day was stress free and beautiful for our event. The food catered by Carriage House Catering was delicious!!! We were so grateful to our wedding coordinator, Lindsey, with Day of Delicate Details for making sure everything was on schedule and for taking care of anything and everything we needed and even some things we didn’t even think of! The Whitlock Inn is just a classic and beautiful place to have any event, but especially a wedding! Our guests has such a wonderful time and we did as well! Our daughter and her husband made the best decision when chose The Whitlock Inn! We were truly treated like family!

The Whitlock Inn was everything I could have ever asked for in a wedding venue. The house and grounds were exactly what I wanted, but the staff was the best part. The one thing I wanted more than anything else was for the planning process to be simple and the day of the wedding to be stress free so we could enjoy it and focus on the right things. Everyone at the Whitlock was dedicated to make sure our day was wonderful. They are experts who know the business well. I loved how many things were included in the wedding package. The style was a perfect blend of traditional and vintage for us.

My daughter was married and held the reception at the Whitlock Inn in late July 2-1018. We were very happy with all aspects of the event at the Whitlock, from the planning to the end of the reception. Everyone was very helpful, offering invaluable advice for us as this was the first wedding that we had planned. The Inn is beautiful and immaculate. We had around 135 guests, and we held the ceremony at the Inn. They were able to flip the room from ceremony to reception very quickly. Everything was handled very professionally. We loved working with Rhonda and Alexis in the office, and Janice, our wedding director was wonderful. We recommend without reservation!

Truly amazing venue! They were always willing to answer my questions and help me. On the day of the wedding, the coordinator took care of everything. She made sure we got to eat the great food from the caterer! We set up lawn game in the back grassy area and people had a blast playing! All around great venue and great people

Gorgeous venue! The staff was very organized and professional and very quick to answer questions. Not many decorations were needed as the venue has so much beauty and charm already.

We had a tremendous experience with the Whitlock Inn and team. I was planning this from another state and they made it super easy. Everything came out as we planned and hoped. The venue is just beautiful, we did the wedding outside and had to make a last minute call on the weather. They were super flexible. All of our guests raved about it! Still, the best part of a wedding at the Whitlock Inn is the people. Alexis and Rhonda are incredibly kind, patient, and experienced. The Whitlock Inn is a total must if you are looking for a wedding or reception venue. My partner and I held both are wedding and reception there and we couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful place. Janice and Alexa are amazing individuals and will wholeheartedly take care of you from day 1 to that special day. We could not have expected anything more. As the father of the bride, we could not have been better served than at the Whitlock Inn. My wife and daughter seemed completed relaxed with each aspect of their visits. All costs were amendable and clearly explained. We needed to add a tent at the end, and Alexis took care of that immediately. Alexis, Rhonda, and Jamie were each awesome and made a complicated reception surprisingly simple. The location is close to the church where my daughter was married, and the whole evening was memorable and seamless.

I am the sister of the bride's mother, and we were most pleased with the Whitlock Inn. Everything was perfect, and they allowed me to bring my cheese straws to merge with the appetizers. That was something I had always planned to do, and they happily allowed that. My sister was beyond exuberant with Alexis, Rhonda, and Janice. The entire reception was outstanding.

The Whitlock Inn is the perfect place for a wedding reception. My daughter's was perfect. I was very nervous until the moment I walked in and met Alexis. She and Rhonda and Janice along with Carriage House Catering and Carithers Florist literally took care of every detail. Alexis quickly helped us find one of the dates we were considering and let us look all around, as we started our plan. The pricing is very straight forward and that makes it easy if you need to add something specific to your needs. Rhonda showed us the choices and offered suggestions to help us along. About two days before the wedding, I panicked and decided we needed to add a tent. Alexis was amazing - she got the bride who was scheduled to be married earlier in the day to allow us to set up our tent, even though she didn't need it. Alexis and Rhonda added tables and left remaining tables and just did what would have seemed impossible. The Whitlock Inn was set up beautifully just as we had asked. Alexis and Rhonda and Janice absolutely had every detail smoothly complete. Janice stayed the entire time and kept us on schedule and helped us so much getting things organized at the end. I wish we could do it all again. I would not change a thing. They are very patient and kind and friendly. That makes all the difference in a potentially stressful time. Alexis, Rhonda, and Janice helped us every step of the way and reassured us and kept us together, haha. This is an extraordinary place, and the house and grounds are the perfect setting. There is plenty of space and yet a very intimate feeling. The team is simply incredible!

As the brother of the bride, throughout my sister's engagement, I constantly heard about the worries going into the planning of the day. My Mom and my sister wanted to be sure that everything turned out as planned, and I can remember how pleased they were when they selected the Whitlock Inn. They really enjoyed the planning process with Alexis and her team, and everything turned out perfectly on the day. Our family cannot thank the Whitlock Inn enough.

I am still on my post-wedding high after my unbelievable Whitlock Inn wedding! First, the Inn is a beautiful place to have your wedding! We got married in the backyard and, even in March, there were flowers blooming! We had our reception in the ballroom. We brought in our own decor, and the staff made sure that everything looked great! Even the bathrooms are gorgeous in this place! It's also in a great location, close to hotels and the Marietta Square. Second, the service from everyone was great, Alexis and Rhonda were helpful in answering questions along the way and letting me know when it was time to contact other vendors. Janice, the day-of wedding director, was a superstar! She made me feel at ease in the week leading up to the wedding, and then ensured that everything went off without a hitch! She made sure to check with me about all the details in advance, so on the day of, we had nothing to worry about except having a wonderful time! It is obvious that they do this all the time, and they have the process down. The food and cake came from their in-house caterer, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We went with the heavy appetizer option and they were very generous with the amount of food! Being able to bring your own alcohol, and decide beer/wine versus full bar was also a great way to save money without sacrificing anything that was important to us. Overall, the Whitlock Inn exceeded my expectations in every way! I would highly recommend this venue!

The Whitlock Inn far exceeded my expectations. Alexis and Rhonda are very accommodating and I had no worries leading up to my day because I knew they had everything under control. We used Janice as our wedding coordinator for the rehearsal and wedding and she was amazing. I loved working with her and would highly recommend. I had no worries on my wedding day and was able to enjoy every moment because of her. I got married on December 22, and the Inn looked beautiful at Christmas time. I barely had to decorate at all! Loved having my wedding here!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Whitlock Inn. We couldn't be more pleased. Everyone from the Inn staff, wedding planner, and catering staff were professional, kind, caring, and hard working. We always received red carpet hospitality and spectacular customer service. We could not have had a more perfect wedding experience at The Whitlock, from beginning to end. As soon as we walked in to tour, saw the beautiful house, and met with Alexis, we knew this was "it." The venue is beautiful and full of character. Also, being walking distance to Marietta Square was ideal for guests. We never experienced the stress so many assume during the planning process because of the amazing staff at The Whitlock. Alexis, Rhonda and Janice were a dream to work with, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything in place, and being nothing but kind every day. Trust the recommendations Alexis gives. She knows her stuff and is genuinely happy for the couples getting married here - and now one of my favorite people :) The food from Carriage House was amazing - countless guests came to to us stating it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We decided to go with family style which was ideal because everyone ate at the same time and it just added to the welcoming feel. Everything was seamless and fun! We are only sad because the wedding is over and would love to relive it all over. Thank you for the most perfect weekend. The Whitlock will always be special to us! :)

I got married at the Whitlock Inn on Sept 30, just over a week ago. The grounds were beautiful this time of year and the weather really made for a lovely evening. The day-off coordinator, Janice, was very helpful and attentive during our wedding, checking in regularly. She had my phone the whole time and took pictures/videos. The other staff at the Whitlock Inn was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. This venue had the charm we were looking for and the location was great for our out of town guests. I would recommend this venue and I hope to go back soon!

Alexis and her staff at The Whitlock Inn were amazing! They met with us numerous times to coordinate the details of the reception and executed my daughter’s wedding reception exactly as we had planned. They were professional and offered many recommendations that allowed the evening to flow beautifully. We received many compliments on the reception, the beautiful setting, and delicious food. Alexis and her staff checked with me throughout the evening to make sure the events of the evening were flowing as we had planned. The staff also helped gather all our personal belongings promptly after the event ended. They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the entire experience. The inn and the grounds were absolutely immaculate! I could not be more pleased with Elizabeth and Joshua’s choice of The Whitlock Inn to hold the reception for their wedding!

I was married at the Whitlock Inn about two months ago and it was definitely a night I will never forget! The Whitlock Inn was perfect for my wedding as the venue is located in my hometown and it is also one of the more affordable venues. Everyone I worked with was very professional, competent, and quick to address all of my questions/concerns. I had my ceremony and reception at the Whitlock so I worked closely with both Alexis and Janice and they talked me through everything. They are available for in-person meetings or via email correspondence most of the time which is amazing for crunch time! My entire wedding day went so smoothly due to the dedication of these ladies. They are experienced in this business which matters when it comes to your big day!! I would not change venues for anything- thank you for the best night of my life!!!!

Our wedding at The Whitlock Inn was great! Rhonda and Janice were awesome to work with and really worked with me to make my wedding dreams come true. The venue and grounds fit the vintage theme that I was aiming for and made for beautiful backdrops to photos as well. Most importantly, I am comfortable with the budget that was met by having our wedding and reception at The Whitlock Inn ... very pleased!

My wife and I were married at the Whitlock Inn about three weeks ago. We had an absolutely wonderful time, and I know that my bride and her mother were incredibly relaxed every time they worked with Alexis, Rhonda, Janice, and their entire team leading up to the wedding. They were a wonderful support to us the day of the event, and our wedding was everything I knew she and I had wanted for our day.

From the moment we toured the Inn through the entire process, Alexis and her team were there for us every step of the way. They made us feel as though everything would be perfect, and it was! They ensured all of the details were right, made all of our wishes possible, and made our night a fabulous party for our entire family and all of our friends. It was an even more incredible evening than I could have pictured, and my wedding would not have been the same anywhere else.

The Whitlock Inn was everything that I dreamed of and more for my wedding! It had everything that I was looking for: a beautiful outdoor garden for the ceremony, a gorgeous air-conditioned ballroom for the reception, friendly and accommodating staff, and delicious catering- all within my set budget! We worked with Rhonda and Alexis, both of them couldn’t be nicer, helping us from the very first steps of visiting the venue, to answering any questions we had throughout the wedding planning process, and meeting all the pre-wedding deadlines. The Whitlock Inn and their staff provided a wonderful wedding setting and experience for our daughter and new son-in-law. We were first-time bridal parents so we were appreciative for the guidance they provided, the wide variety of options they offered and the flexibility we had to plug and unplug items to and from their standard plans. We felt that their pricing was very fair and they worked well with us to stay within out budget. Throughout our planning process they were always available to answer questions and calm our anxieties. On the night of our rehearsal and the day of our ceremony and reception everything was on time, elegantly arranged and displayed and professionally supported by the staff. Our food provided by Carriage House Catering was very good and plentiful. At the conclusion, everything was quickly and expertly packed and wrapped and ready to load. We would definitely recommend the Whitlock Inn.

My daughter was married at the Whitlock Inn on May 20th, 2017. Like all of the other reviews, everything was perfect. Alexis and Rhonda held my hand the whole way and Lindsey Sessions, the wedding planner on the day of the wedding was amazing. She kept the flow of the wedding going without interrupting the wedding party or myself, and also made sure everyone was happy. Carriage House Catering and their staff did an awesome job also. The food was excellent and they served 130 people to a sit down dinner without incident. The Inn itself is beautiful and well kept. My daughter said she felt like she was in a fairy tale. That's all I needed to hear. I highly recommend the Whitlock Inn. They are attentive and always answer your calls and get back to all of your emails quickly.

Everything about the Inn has been wonderful! The staff, the food, the venue are all beautiful. Working with Alexis and Rhonda was a breezy. Both ladies are easy to get ahold of whenever you have a question about your event. The ladies are very organized and it makes wedding planning fun and easy. The food was also fantastic! Jeff and Laurie of Carriage House Catering were fantastic to work with. They are easy to talk to and will make sure the food for your event is perfect. Al, also from Carriage house, did an excellent job setting the tables up and making sure the linens and serving ware were perfect. The Whitlock Inn is beautiful. The house is old but doesn't feel dated. It is very tasteful with old, Southern charm. The garden at the back of the Inn is beautiful. They can really set it up however you would like. The great part about the Inn is that all the vendors are right there. Nothing to bring in expect alcohol and you take whatever is un-used home. Along with that you take all of the leftover food home! We had a lot of leftovers!!! You definitely get more than you pay for with this venues beauty, service and ultimately the wedding of your dreams!

Having attended a wedding reception at the Whitlock Inn two years ago, we knew what to expect: Perfection. We were not disappointed. As parents of the bride, we were thrilled we could reserve December 10th, 2016. Alexis, Rhonda & other staff were great to work with and they took care of us. Our guest had many positive comments. The food was well prepared. The Whitlock Inn was elegant and charming. There were many beautiful spots inside and out for pictures. Now that the photographer’s proofs are in, we are reminded just what a special evening it was.

My husband and I had our wedding on Nov 20, 2016 here at the Whitlock Inn. We hadn't really looked at many venues before this one, but as soon as we walked through the front door, I knew this was the place! Rhonda and Alexis were absolutely amazing on making our big day so special. Janice, our wedding planner, went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected! What can I say, everything was absolutely fabulous! The Whitlock Inn is perfect for any season of the year and they accommodate magnificently! I will definitely refer The Inn for anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to get married!

I am an outspoken critic, so believe me when I say that the Whitlock Inn and staff are excellent! The venue is lovely and picturesque inside and out with the comfort and "feel" of home combined with the elegance, serenity, and mystique of a southern plantation house or chateau. If you desire an outdoor ceremony, the courtyard is perfectly sized with an abundance of large trees (a MUST for shade and perfectly lit photos) and the ivy-covered picket fence and archway, flowers, shrubs, and benches complete the essence of a private/secret garden. Most importantly, the staff did an outstanding job from initial planning to final execution. It was a much easier process than I expected for a wedding. Janice, Rhonda, Alexis and all others were wonderful. Janice made the initial planning and selections fun. Alexis is very kind and went above and beyond to help us. Janice (our coordinator) was very professional and serious about making the ceremony and reception perfect, and she succeeded! Their care, commitment, and desire for excellence really made the difference! Nothing was lacking; our wedding was perfect! Bravo!

When our daughter told us we had less then 4 months to plan her wedding-I thought IMPOSSIBLE! The Whitlock was our first stop. Not only is it beautiful but within minutes I felt completely at ease. These women know what they're doing and handle most everything-cake,food,linens,decorations,etc.. There kindness,reassurance,and confidence was contagious. I held my breath as we spoke numbers-thinking this had to be to good to be true. Wow-I was very pleasantly surprised. PERFECT and AFFORDABLE!! Any and all dealings with any of the staff was incredible. So friendly,professional, comforting,and sweet!! It was everything she/we had dreamt of and more! We wouldn't change a thing-not even the "naked" cake. Haha! Delicious!!

EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE! This venue is beyond gorgeous and the staff is beyond helpful and sweet. Rhonda, Alexis, Janice and even the cleaning staff care very much about making your wedding day perfect. My new wife and I were so very impressed with the staff at The Whitlock Inn. Our wedding went off without any problems whatsoever. Alexis was very accommodating to our wedding needs and wishes. Working with Rhonda and Lindsey was a total joy. They both went above and far beyond what we expected of their service. Timing was perfect, I thinkk a prayer was even offered to stop the impending rain as it stopped just before the ceremony outside. The Whitlock Inn venue was the perfect choice for us. The most wonderful southern charm is still around. Alexis and her staff promote this feeling of elegance, style and grace without even trying as it is just the way they are. The house itself is a wonderful piece of architecture from another time however you still feel right at home, comfortable and relaxed. Plenty of parking for our guest, ease of access from different roads off the square in Marietta. Many of our guest thought the venue was perfect for the two of us. I can't say enough about the onsite catering of Carriage House Catering. We had a seated dinner for out guest at the reception and everyone including the children remarked about how excellent the food was. Salmon that melted in your mouth, steak so tender you cut it with a fork, and chicken you'll remember for a long time as the flavor was so pleasing to your palate. We looked at more than 25 venues around Atlanta but, when we came to the Whitlock it was an instant "Yes" to sign up for our wedding there. Folks, if you want somewhere to feel as though you are family and not just a client, by all means choose The Whitlock Inn just off the historic Marietta square. You may look at other places but you'll stop searching at the Whitlock because you'll feel right at home.

I absolutely LOVED having my wedding at the Whitlock Inn. As a non-native GA resident (form NJ) I have worked as a wedding server since I was 16 yrs. old in a number of different venues and then I moved into working in corporate events. Well, the ladies at the Whitlock Inn are some of the BEST in the business, and I don't mean just weddings, in the event world as a whole! They are incredibly flexible, knowledgeable, and really just stress-free and FUN to work with. Having my reception at the Whitlock in was the only stress-free thing about my wedding day :) I cannot thank Alexis, Rhonda, and Janice enough for their time and dedication to ensure our wedding reception was perfect. On top of the wonderful service they provide, the Whitlock Inn also happens to be EXTREMELY affordable! You really get a bang for your buck here! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We loved the Whitlock Inn. The Ballroom is beautiful with shinny wood floors and crystal chandeliers. The out door garden space meant that we could have the ceremony outside and the reception inside so that the guests didn't have to drive to two places. The staff are amazing and take care of everything. After my groom and I decided to get married at the Whitlock Inn I went back with my mom and two aunts who had planned weddings the year before and were very impressed and wished they had looked at the Whitlock Inn. We loved that we could bring our own liquor/bar. I wanted drinks to be available but only half of our guests drink so I did not like the pay per person places. I really can't say enough about Rhonda and the rest of the staff. If you are having dancing at your wedding look into paying for an extra hour. 4 hours goes by so fast. I was not ready for the night to end.

My now wife had some extraordinary expectations for our wedding. After checking out locations such as the Fox Theater, the Georgia Aquarium, and the Atlanta Botanical Garden, among others, she was beyond thrilled with The Whitlock Inn. It was the first place we felt was both capable and willing to work with us on our wedding day rather than just selling us a space. Rhonda was fantastic listening to what was important and making sure we were comfortable. As a bonus, it was one of the most affordable options, allowing us to splurge on a band. On the day of the wedding, Rhonda and Janice made sure everything ran smoothly, and my bride and I did not worry about a thing. It was great and I will happily recommend The Whitlock Inn for any special occasion.

My daughter had her wedding reception at The Whitlock Inn Aug 2016. The entire process with Alexis and Rhonda was smooth, pleasant, straightforward and even easy (gasp!). They are simply a joy to work with. Being from Georgia but recently moving out of state, we organized the entire wedding via facetime, emails and phone with a few visits in person. We wanted a welcoming, timeless southern charm ambiance. This fulfilled our wishes. It was an amazing place to have their beginning . It was like welcoming our friends to our own home . The guests raved about how beautiful everything was and during the entire event, I (mother of the bride) was able to socialize and enjoy the eventing without a worrying about a single thing. The staff was almost invisible as they anticipated what needed to be cleared away and replenished. The Whitlock Inn is beautiful inside and out. It was charming and elegant without being in the least bit stuffy. The food was delicous and displayed beautifully as well as functionally. It is just TOP NOTCH in every way! I would not hesitate in recommending to a close friend or planning another event here!

The Whitlock Inn is the PERFECT place to get married. We were able to have the ceremony outside in the beautiful garden and the reception inside the inn. The staff is AMAZING and they go above and beyond to make sure your day is special. All of the vendors they recommended were fantastic as well, and made the entire day magical. The entire wedding took place without any errors thanks to the on staff wedding coordinator that gets you through one of the biggest days of your life. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a venue.

If there were more stars on your rating board I will tick them all to the max! The Whitlock Inn is an amazing place to celebrate your marriage. We were married last June 5th and till now, our guests and family are raving about how wonderful the place is and the food was soooo delicious. I could write all day about our experience with The Whitlock Inn and I would not tire in doing that. Alexis, Janice, Rhonda and Laurie are the best people to work with. They would help you in planning your wedding, be patient while you are deciding and they are really thoughtful to check on you on how you're doing and they will basically treat you like they are your family. The place --- The Whitlock Inn --- OH MY!!! I am still in my dreamland thinking about the wedding we had, the venue is really beautiful and charming. We are really happy with everything, from the place to the food, also, the cake is sooo delicious! We love it so much! Thanks Whitlock Inn, it was really a fun, intimate, wonderful, amazing wedding! Kudos to Alexis, Rhonda, and Janice at the Whitlock Inn for orchestrating the wedding reception of my daughter's dreams. The ballroom and backyard gardens are beautiful in addition to the charming home itself. They were always available in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding to answer questions, to review facilities, or to talk logistics of the day. I had complete confidence that everything would be exactly as we planned. An added bonus was the opportunity they gave us to use the gardens for bridal portraits a month beforehand. Carriage House catering provided a wonderful spread and set-up. Also, a shout-out to Laigh Langley and his band for keeping everyone on the dance floor all night, even after the happy couple departed!

The Whitlock Inn is a wonderful place to have a wedding! My husband is in the military and is stationed in Arizona, but despite the distance, the staff at the Whitlock Inn made it easy for us to plan our wedding. Everyone there is polite, courteous and professional. They made the day-of run very smoothly and without a single issue. I highly recommend this venue for anyone's wedding!!

My husband and I got married here in May of 2016. I cannot imagine words doing justice for this place and the amazing people that work here - I could write a book. SO..when we began looking at venues, we found a ton of gorgeous places in the Atlanta-are, but never really felt comfortable with the pricing structure or the personalities of the people that we spoke with. When we came in to the Whitlock and spoke with Alexis, I knew that we would get married there. The package pricing was great and took a lot of the responsibilities off of us from having to find a caterer/cake/decorations/wedding coordinator AND was relatively inexpensive. Alexis' personality just secured the deal - she made us feel at home the minute we walked in. To keep it short, the wedding was a million times better than what I had expected. I wouldn't consider myself a negative person, but more realistic. Everyone always told me that my wedding would never go the way I wanted it to and that many things would go wrong, so naturally I expected it. OUr wedding coordinator, Rhonda, was AMAZING!!! NOTHING went wrong and she made sure of it. The venue was unbelievably gorgeous and set up just as we had discussed. People are still talking about it! The communication up until the wedding was perfect and I felt NO stress while working with this group. I'm so incredibly pleased with my experience and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone in this area. As a side note, our photographer (who works countless weddings yearly) told me at the end that the people working at the venue were the nicest she had ever met in her life. To sum things up, the venue is GORGEOUS, the pricing is fair and the people are AMAZING.

My mom and I had visited several wedding venues before we made our stop at The Whitlock Inn. We immediately fell in love with the beautiful historic home and backyard garden and booked it the very next morning! We were impressed throughout the entire planning process as we received informative emails along the way from the staff members like Rhonda, who initially helped us book our date. The other meetings with the coordinators and catering staff seemed so effortless due to their planning and organization and helped us to feel very much at ease and prepared. Janice, our wedding coordinator, was extremely organized and helped answer all of our lingering questions before the big day. She guided our wedding party with ease through the rehearsal and during the wedding day. The venue itself was gorgeous on our wedding day! There were flowers of all sorts blooming in the back garden area where we had our ceremony. The reception area inside was beautifully decorated as well. The catering by Carriage House was phenomenal. Many guests complimented the quality of the food and service. We couldn’t have been happier with how our wedding day went at the Whitlock Inn and would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I got married at the Whitlock Inn a couple weeks ago and it was perfect! Everybody there was really sweet and very organized. There is a hotel a couple miles down the road, which made it very easy for our out of town guests. The thing I liked the most about this venue is that they give you a lot of freedom to really choose what type of wedding you want. We chose to have an outdoor wedding with a buffet and lawn games so our guests could be a little more casual, but they can certainly accommodate a more formal event as well.

The Whitlock Inn was a fantastic, elegant Southern wedding venue. Alexis and Rhonda were both extremely professional, and worked hard to make my reception perfect. The tables were set up exactly as we had discussed, I had a dessert reception and the food was displayed beautifully. They even threw in coffee as a bonus addition to the reception, which was a great touch. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting a classic, elegant wedding; as well as wanting one stop shopping at a venue you can trust.
