Phern is not an average photographer. She isn’t just trying to take some good photos, she is an artist. She see think others don’t. Phern is super professional. For me, as a videographer, is important to work beside reliable professionals. An amazing artist who can’t keep up with a timeline or other vendors, isn’t a good idea either. Fortunately, you won’t have that issue with her. And here is maybe one of the most important things about her: she’s an amazing human being. We have worked with the Wild Phern Photography at multiple events and she is awesome to work with! She is great, well organized, and on top of her game! She also takes beautiful photos, and captures the true emotions on wedding days. As a wedding coordinator, we work to collaborate with each vendor, and she makes it so easy to do so! Loved working with her, and would recommend her to any couple looking for someone to capture their day!

Phern’s photography is clearly drop dead gorgeous, but what you don’t see is that behind the camera there is a woman who is exceptional at making her job look effortless. She is professional and an incredible resource for getting the day-of on a clean timeline. We genuinely have not been able to put into words the incredible magic that Phern created with our engagement & wedding photos. She made the process so effortless and when we wanted her expertise she graciously took the burden of planning photos off of our never ending list of wedding needs. She always asked if there was anything we wanted, but came prepared with a plan if neither of us were sure. At our wedding Phern just blended into the background and was able to capture some of the most incredibly special candid moments of our wedding. So many of our loved ones have praised Phern’s ability to capture our wedding in the moment without us feeling like a star on a reality TV show (which was exactly what we asked & she delivered!). We are so obsessed with our photos and loved working with Phern. She made everything easy and we want to do it all over again!

Phern is an absolute blast to work with and magic behind the camera. We first hired her to do engagement photos to test her out before committing to a wedding photographer. She set up a call with me to see if we would be a good fit, to establish a relationship, and ensure she would be the right person to tell our story. She was professional and incredibly friendly. This was our first professional shoot and Phern made sure we were comfortable and directed us into stunning poses. We then hired her for our July 8th wedding! We asked her if we could do our real engagement photos on Mackinac Island. She was more than happy to follow us around on our tandem bike, and even hung out with us for the day. We gave her a lot of creative freedom with this shoot and the results blew us away! Some of our all time favorite pictures came from this session and we even landed on the Grand Hotel Instagram page! On the day of our wedding, it was like having a really good friend there to capture the best day of our lives. Phern kept us on schedule, worked very well with our videographer, made sure we had all of the family photos we asked for, and even helped me put deodorant on while in my dress. She also carried her step ladder the entire 8 hours she was there! She’s a beast!! Phern is worth every penny. I cannot recommend her enough!

Phern is very professional and knows what she is doing. She does beautiful work and we are SO happy we hired her. There were many wedding pictures that we never would’ve thought to ask for, and we are so glad she suggested and posed us for those pictures. They ended up being some of our favorites out of the whole album! Aside from the beautiful work she does, she is super organized and helpful with planning the day-of timeline. Overall, I cannot say enough how grateful we are for Phern! As a side note, I did a boudoir shoot with Phern as a wedding gift for my husband as well, and she gives a discount to her brides for boudoir shoots. I was so nervous going in but she made me so comfortable and beautiful!

WOW! You will have absolutely no regrets when it comes to hiring Phern to be your photographer!!! I came across Phern on Facebook about 2 years ago and instantly fell in love with her work. I could sense her creativity through her pictures and that is the reason for reaching out to hire her for my wedding. When my husband and I met her, we instantly fell in love with how bubbly she was and we could tell right away, how much she loves her job. Phern is open to all ideas, she builds on your ideas and gives you plenty of options, just in case. Working with her was the best thing we did for our wedding. She has a very good eye. Coming from a person who does not feel comfortable behind a camera lense, it is not something that comes natural to me, she made my husband and I always feel comfortable, which in turn, made our pictures turn out amazing. She assists you in poses, brings props to enhance pictures, and is all around a fun person to be around, especially when you have pictures taken of you. Phern was absolutely amazing😍 Tons of energy and an amazing attitude. I felt so taken care of on my wedding day because she prioritized my needs and wants. She was like a wedding coordinator and photographer in one keeping us on time as we took pics. She got every family formal and funny pic we wanted, I love every photo in my gallery. We hired Phern for our engagement photos as well as our elopement and shortly after our elopement we hired her for our wedding reception next year. At first glance we wanted to hire her because of her editing style. It’s the kind of style where you look like yourself just better. But once you get to know her she’s more than just a skilled photographer, she’s an incredibly kind person. For our elopement it happened to be on one of the rainiest days in August and we had to scrap the idea of our outdoor wedding ceremony. Phern adjusted like the pro that she is, set up her lights in record time and afterwards when we realized the rain had ruined the setting for our couples portraits after the ceremony she offered to come back a few days later for another session to really give us the portraits we had hoped for. It wasn’t something she had to offer but the fact that she did just helped solidify the reasons we wanted to hire her again for our reception. When we got our photos back we were thrilled. If I could print them all I would and I’m constantly changing my phone wallpaper so I can stare at the gorgeous images she created. We can’t recommend her enough, you will not regret hiring her!

We could not have been happier with how our wedding pictures turned out! I loved that I really didn't have to give much direction as to what shots I wanted, she just took the initiative and did her thing. I got every shot that I could have wanted and MORE. Phern was very professional, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and even offered to help out with last minute decorating emergencies! I don't even know where to start... Phern is AMAZING! She is willing to do SO much to make sure your day goes exactly like you want, that you're comfortable in your skin, that you are FEELING yourself. Honestly, so much more than a photographer. If you're not close to her before your wedding day, you sure will be after. The pictures turned out PERFECT... I literally wanted to print every single one. She got both wonderful candids, that show our personality, and posed photos that look magazine worthy. It would not have been a complete day without Phern there. She was essential. I will use her for EVERY round of photos I need. Ever.
