About this vendor
The Wildflower Barn is a photography studio-turned-wedding venue based in Austin, TX. Established in 2007, The Wildflower Barn offers a unique take on your wedding day by providing a simple and laid-back atmosphere. You have the freedom to create an exceptional wedding experience as you enjoy the celebrations. Dance the night away under the outdoor twinkling lights and let the unspoiled Texas countryside be the perfect backdrop for your wedding day photos.
What was intended to be a photography studio became a one-of-a-kind wedding venue. When the owners came across the unoccupied barn in 2007, they immediately fell in love with its beauty and charm. They believed that the venue’s character would make it ideal for unmatched wedding experiences. The location holds two venues for events; the Bluebonnet Barn and the Meadow Barn. The former was originally built in 1980 and retains its vintage country charm. The latter was built more recently and was constructed out of locally sourced hand-milled cedar. Both barns are equally stunning and exude a style that will captivate your guests.
The Wildflower Barn promises straightforward pricing and no hidden fees. The two venues can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. The venue can cater to various ceremony types from civil unions and elopements to vow renewals and commitment ceremonies. Rental equipment, service staff, and planning are all available to you, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. As comfort is a priority for many to-be-weds, the dressing rooms are fully climate controlled. The barn also has an open vendor policy so your choice of food and entertainment is not limited.

I had the best wedding and it was all because of how great this place is! From the venue itself to the owners! My wedding day the rain did not stop but the venue helped us with finding alternatives ways to still make everyone comfortable and dry! Everytime I had a question over the year I have been working with them they answered with in an hour. The venue owner and her daughter stayed during the wedding and were just so so sweet to us. I am so happy that we picked this venue!
I planned the wedding for my daughter and son-in-law, who were wanting a rustic themed wedding and The Wildflower Barn proved to be a wonderful choice! Janet and the staff were so helpful, courteous, professional, and quick to respond with answers or offer suggestion, when we had any questions. The flexibility offered because it is a DIY venue was a life saver. The happy couple was so pleased with their day and Janet and her staff played a major part in making their day perfect! The venue is gorgeous, the staff is fantastic, and being able to use our own vendors, make this
venue a 10 out 10!
When you want a truly Texas Hill Country spot to get married in, without all the trappings that some venues offer, The Wildflower Barn is the place to be. Our daughter's wedding last weekend was wonderful. We chose to make it a DIY celebration and were glad we did. Janet and her staff were a pleasure to work with! Whenever we had a question or concern they were there to be of support or offer suggestions. I would suggest most definitely contracting for the walkaway service which provides staffing for cleanup. It's the way to go! Thank you Wildflower Barn!
We had our wedding at the Wildflower Barn this past weekend and we could not have asked for a better experience. We had to postpone our wedding for over 2 years due to COVID and I think we changed the date about 5 times. Everyone at the Wildflower Barn was so understanding and helpful. It really took so much stress off of us.
Andrea was our coordinator and I don't think we could have pulled off the night without her. We are terrible about keeping a timeline and she was so great at keeping us on track and keeping everything running smoothly. Andrea was flexible with our last minute requests for timeline changes but also made sure we got everything done that we really wanted to. She kept our stress down and managed all the fine details that we hadn't even thought about. I underestimated how important it would be to have a great coordinator. She went above and beyond what I consider to be her job during the wedding and I am so thankful that we decided to hire her to assist us.
We had photography done by Amber at Wildflower Barn Photography as well and she was also amazing. She was so calm and helped us feel so comfortable during portraits and throughout the wedding. Although we had only met Amber once before our wedding, working with her felt as if she has been our friend for a while. So naturally easy and relaxed. We had so many compliments about how professional Amber and Andrea were and just how comfortable everyone else felt. Not to mention all the compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how calm and cool the vibe was. We had visited during the day but night time with the lights was just amazing. Such a great experience. We highly recommend the Wildflower Barn if you are considering it for your wedding.
Choosing the Wildflower Barn as our wedding venue was the best decision I have ever made! My dream wedding came to life here. From the amazing & friendly people who work there, to the property, everything truly was above an beyond- I cannot say thank you enough! I loved the add on for a “day-of coordinator” [S/O to Andrea! The best of the best!], plus the luxury walk away, it made my entire wedding day & night such a breeze! You won’t regret choosing this beautiful location. I know I will forever cherish the memories that were made there!
This is our honest experience and I write this to warn but also ask questions about your venue so you don't have the same experience as us. When we first toured The Wildflower Barn we were amazed at how beautiful the property is. Twinkling lights, a big red barn, a meadow for a gorgeous ceremony. We loved it and I told my then fiancee that we should book it. So it was the first venue we toured and we booked it that day. During the months before out wedding, coordinating with them was good, not perfect, but good. We didn't realize a lot of the items like the bar, corn hole, altar piece, chairs and more would be an additional price. We learned and accepted it and bought the additional important stuff for our large wedding, 110 people. Also, when we toured, there was no music playing that we could here, this is important. Instead, people were setting up tents, chairs etc.
Fast forward to day of. We arrive at 12:45 pm and then the gate opens. We drive through and begin setup. And we here loud metal music coming through the trees. I was more concerned with setup and didn't pay too much attention to it. Then at 2:00 I got ready with my bridesmaids in the bridal suite. During that time, I heard from my fiancee that The Wildflower Barn manager onsite was trying to get the neighbor in the property next to them to turn down their raging death metal music. I figured it would be settled. Then it gets to be 5:00 pm and there's still loud music. Ok.... guests are arriving, and the ceremony begins at 5:30 pm. We all begin walking down the aisle and I can barely here the string trio playing my song but rather I here a blasting radio turned up even higher playing death metal music. I was outraged. Shocked. But I kept walking down the aisle. I was furious that my beautiful ceremony that we had spent thousands of dollars on, and countless hours planning and designing the signs and decor was being ruined by this horrible neighbor. All during the ceremony and during bridal photos after I could hear this evil music and cried a little. Thankfully my husband kept me present and reminded me that this is about us and nothing is taking away from how much he loves me. I love him so much and appreciate him just being there for me. After the photos, I could barely here the music over the DJ's music which I appreciated and honestly, I stopped caring once we had our grand entrance. After our wedding, The Wildflower Barn reached out to us to apologize profusely and we came to a conclusion. They said they need to collect statements from us and some of our guests as they are working with their attorney to file a lawsuit against their neighbor.
I don't wish this on any bride. It was horrible to have to say my vows over a microphone while hearing a death metal radio DJ blasting in my ears.
While The WIldflower Barn is helping, I truly wish the Hays County Sheriff who showed up to the neighbor's barn before the ceremony would have shut off that music but they said that they wouldn't. I would have gone over there myself had I known how bad it was going to be. I loved every other bit of our wedding and all I can hope is that time heals and helps me forget the evil and just remember the good.
If you're looking to get married there, I recommend you bring this up as a concern and ask that they place soundproof walls to help as this neighbor seems cruel and evil and clearly the owners and this neighbor need to figure out their problems.
Romantic, charming, best outdoor venue. Calming
the nerves on a magical day; the layout naturally
lends itself to celebrating, photos and more. Cozy yet so spacious for the event or wedding of your size, choice and feel. Nestled in the shade of Texas trees.
As night draws, the twinkling lights create a warm
hue that compliments your smiles and laughter,
breezes flow and a sigh of relief that you picked the right location. The service was great, the vendor suggestions made everything happen as hoped. Highly recommend this experience.
Thank You @Wildflower Barn, Amanda @ Wildflowerbarn Photography and @Gebbysbbq. Gratitude ❤️
We were so happy with the Wildflower Barn and their team! Janet and her staff are top of the line. They are super accommodating and they clearly take pride in their work.
The atmosphere is so beautiful and the lighting alone made us want to sign on. It was the first place that we looked at in person, and while we did some shopping around after our tour, we both knew pretty much right off the bat that the Wildflower Barn was the choice for us.
This is the best spot for flexibility and DIY weddings. Ideal for people who know what they want, have a specific vision and are hands-on.
Every bride/couple is different and every wedding is definitely different. As such, the Wildflower Barn, offers as much help (or as little) as each couple may desire. There are"add on" services such as Day of Coordinator and table and chair rentals that were affordable and easy to book on their website.
We had so much flexibility with our set up for both the expansive reception area and two ceremony sites to choose from. They allow food trucks, pizza ovens, and bar tenders are optional if you are only serving beer and wine. A bar tender is recommended if you're serving mixed drinks.
Only drawback is that if there's a chance of rain, you'll need to find a tent rental service. But, you can plan around that.
The Wildflower Barn was the first venue we visited, and after visiting just one other place we knew it would be THE venue. It's an incredibly beautiful and versatile outdoor space with excellent communication and support from the staff. It also allowed us the freedom to bring our dream wedding to life, and to do so within our budget. We are so grateful to have had our special day at the Wildflower Barn!
Wildflower barn was the obvious choice for our wedding as soon as we saw it. They allow the most flexibility, offer the most resources, and are easy on the budget. Not to mention, ITS GORGEOUS!! Our wedding would not have been what it was without them. We hired them for coordinators, rentals, Photogroahy, and venue. They make everything so easy!! Thank you for making our day perfect!
The wedding was wonderful and we loved having it at the wildflower barn. Our main reason for booking was the feel and affordability of the venue! We loved the oaks and all of the natural scenery. It was the first venue we looked at and we didn’t need to look any further! The barn and lights was perfect for our rustic romantic style! We got so many compliments saying that we chose the perfect venue and we agree. Nothing could have made our wedding day more perfect! We are so thankful!❤️
We had a very small and intimate wedding at the Meadow Barn and it could not have been a more perfect setting for our special day! From the moment we saw the venue, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The natural beauty and the dozens of twinkle lights made for a perfect backdrop. This venue also has very affordable prices, especially for smaller scale events. The team at the Wildflower Barn was also so flexible with moving our date due to the pandemic. We also rented tables and chairs directly from them, which was so easy! If we were to do our wedding all over, we would pick the Wildflower Barn every time!
I had the worst experience of my life with this barn! And you know I still do!!!
Our wedding wasn’t first planned for October 3rd 2020 but covid hit and we had to safely move it to March 26th 2021 HOWEVER they whew zero understanding and charge us to live the date because a pandemic hit and shut down the whole world, anyway we pay it and it gets worst because the pandemic isn’t getting better and all my family is from out of countey I explain them that my dad might had issues with traveling due to diagnose with cancer but didn’t care we ask for our money back (we pay about $4000) they said the where only giving us back $150 because that’s what the contract said, I try to talk to them and again a HUGE lack of humanity from them, we use a lawyer to help us get some money back ( we propose them to take the day and negotiate something because we knew both parties are hurting us and then) they took forever to respond the lawyer and now they don’t want to give our mi way back, they don’t want to give us a date either. This not only very unethical but so nerve racking, we lost so much money that we could invest in some other place and probably are not going to have the wedding we wanted because it’s such a huge investment. Unfortunately we are now here empty handed without that money, without a venue and disappointed thanks to this place. I just hope karma pays back, no one deserve this specially no bride to be
I am so happy we chose The Wildflower Barn as our venue and Amber, The Wildflower Barn photographer as our photographer.
Everything, down to the small details, were just perfect. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!
Absolutely beautiful venue well taken care of and staff is amazing! They had rentals, packages to setup/cleanup, amazing customer service, and always worked with us even with a pandemic! If it wasn't for chris and janet we wouldn't have been able to have the wedding of our dreams!
The Wildflower Barn provided just the right mix of being relatively affordable, letting us do what we want, and of course just being a beautiful setting that felt right to us. I had no idea how many restrictions most wedding venues have until I started doing a lot of research. The Wildflower Barn is awesome in this way. We did our own flowers, made our own cake and cocktails, had plenty of “friendors,” and even hired a petting zoo! I loved that we got to make our wedding everything we wanted it to be. Speaking as a gay couple and also just as silly people, they were always supportive of our ideas and excited for our wedding.
We went with the wedding coordinating service (granted, I think it was a simpler and less expensive package than they now offer) and the luxury walkway service. The wedding coordinator was always super sweet and helpful. I’m a very organized person so I’m not sure if it was entirely necessary, but for the price we paid it was absolutely worth it, especially because she did all the coordinating with vendors on the day-of. 100% just get the luxury walkaway service!!! Having the tables and chairs already set up when we arrived (we did the linens and flowers and everything, but the hard part was done) and then having them take care of trash, sweeping, and whatever else at the end of the day was worth everything. We just got to enjoy it all.
We had a couple challenges, but The Wildflower Barn came through for us. It was supposed to rain on our wedding day (all day) so we had to plan to have our ceremony indoors instead of in the meadow that I fell in love with. It actually stopped raining so we were able to do it outside, but I recommend thinking about how to fit everyone inside the barn and then flip the space to be your reception area if needed—or get the coordinating service and they will do this. The second challenge was out of everyone’s control: we got married on March 15th, right when coronavirus started escalating exponentially in the Austin area. We had no idea, and close to 20 guests declined within 24 hours of the wedding. Since it ended up being such a tiny wedding, it sort of ended before we wanted it to end, but we got to enjoy the beautiful space and the fire pit all to ourselves after everyone left and it was lovely.
We got married here in February 2020 and couldn't have been happier. The location is great and has a secluded feeling (which is perfect for an outdoor wedding), and the venue staff were amazing. Bree was our day of coordinator and I don't think we could have done it all without her. She was very helpful, patient and attentive. Thank you to everyone there for all of your help, and to anyone considering using The Wildflower Barn as your venue, we highly recommend them.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience than we had with The Wildflower Barn. Their pricing was *extremely* reasonable, so much better than everything else we looked at in the area. We paid the extra for full service staffing and a day of coordinator, and it made the whole event super easy. Bree, our coordinator, was friendly, helpful, and and communicative, as was everyone else from the venue. She handled all the final coordinating with the caterers, florist, and photographer, which was such a relief those last couple of days. The space is so, so pretty - the owners also run a photography business, so no matter what direction you're looking in, there's a beautiful spot for photos. The outdoor space let us have yard games for the kids, which were a huge hit, and the excellent built-in stereo system in the "barn" (aka the dance floor) meant we just plugged in a Spotify playlist and saved ourselves the cost of a DJ. Everyone raved about how beautiful the whole thing was. I'm so glad we went with the Wildflower Barn, and I highly recommend them.
I am a very hands on DIY gal so the WFB was the perfect setting. They already have hundreds of lights strung that make the evening so magical too. The staff is incredible. They answered every email and message I sent. It felt like they really understood the stress and desire to make our day as perfect as could be.
Ours was the first wedding in either of our family’s of it’s kind; (read: Outdoor and not plated catering :P)
We had pizza catered from nearby and rented tables and heaters from the venue.
We got married at the Meadow Barn because now husband got butterflies when Janet, the owner, described the secret bridal path.
I strongly recommend bringing your photo/video to the venue to understand how unique the setup is so they can be best equipped to capture the most amazing photos.
Chris, the owner, is a photographer himself so the spaces were definitely designed with vendors in mind. We were able to leave rows open for our photo video crew to walk about easily.
I just want to do it all over again and again.
I'm so happy we decided to have our wedding in the Meadow Barn at the Wildflower Barn. The staff was so awesome and accommodating to our needs. We ordered fans because we were expecting it to he hot and it was almost freezing the night of! The staff contacted us 2 days before and asked if we wanted to switch to heaters instead! This venue is beautiful, inviting, and has so many options for ceremony sites that you can practically customize your whole experience there. Dont miss out on a wonderful venue!
Love this venue so much! The Wildflower Barn went above and beyond our expectations. Our wedding was perfect, during the day the venue is beautiful but towards the night it became even more beautiful! We love everything and everyone with The Wildflower Barn.
We were married here in the fall and it was one of the happiest days in our lives! We chose the Meadow Barn because of the intimate woodland feeling. There are thousands of twinkling lights in the trees and when the sun goes down, it feels like you're in another world. The staff was so kind, professional and helpful. Amber with Wildflower Barn Photographer didn't miss a shot! We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a space to celebrate their "best day ever"!
Last week my husband and I just had our wedding at The Wildflower Barn -Meadow Barn. It was simply magical!! The lights at night, the flow of the space, the country feel... everything about it was perfect! All of our guests kept asking how we found the venue and telling us how incredible it was!! The staff were more than welcoming, flexible and supportive! Amber was wonderful the night of our wedding and made sure we had everything we needed. The night could not have been more perfect! Thank you for making our wedding an absolute dream!
We loved this place! Our guests all kept saying how beautiful this venue was. There’s so much room for everyone to eat, dance, and play! They have a bunch of in house rentals-tables, chairs, lawn games, fans & more. You won’t be disappointed with this venue.
Beautiful, reasonably priced venue! Everyone just loved it and the staff was so helpful throughout the entire process! Janet in particular was amazing!
This was the first (and ended up being the only) site we visited while looking for a venue. We instantly fell in love with it and I can't imagine our wedding at any of the others we considered looking into. They were super accommodating, the price point was excellent, and the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. May is tricky weather-wise in this area, but even with torrential rains the night before, nothing was out of place, and the flowers held up and looked stunning in photos. Side note: definitely glad we went with the walk away package so we could load up all the leftovers and decorations and head out at the end of the night.
We got married at the Bluebonnet Barn and Janet was our day of coordinator. We opted for the Luxury walk away package and it was well worth it. Everyone working our wedding that day worked HARD and communicated with us calmly and constantly. Any last second emergency we had the day of they were prepared for. (Glue guns, pins) They helped keep me calm and make my husband and my day more special than it already was. The grounds were beautiful, the guests who were mostly from out of town love the venue and we could not have asked for better weather. All of their in house rentals are easily dealt with through them and kept in excellent condition.
Our wedding was perfect thanks to The Wildflower Barn. Valerie was AMAZING help and the venue was beautiful. Could not ask for a more perfect day!
We loved working with The Wildflower Barn and the Day of Coordinator, Valerie. They made it extremely easy for us to plan our wedding from afar! (we live in Alaska) The venue was gorgeous, and I appreciated the included decorations of lights in the trees! All of our guests commented on what a beautiful wedding it was.
We had our wedding May of 2018 and there are absolutely no words to express how happy we were with the Bluebonnet Barn!
As soon as we met Valerie we knew it was the place for us. She made the walk-through exciting and so much fun, she is one of the main reasons we chose it! And she’s the reason we decided to do the “day of coordinator package” (so worth it if you don’t already have a wedding coordinator).
It rained most of our wedding so I had no idea how everything was going to look (we had a ton of hanging decorations), but when I stepped into that barn it was SO beautiful and I know it was all because of Valerie. She’s an amazing hands-on, quick thinking and all together just remarkable person and that made our wedding so wonderful and hassle free. She has so much experience and knows how to basically fix everything ☺ Plus, she’s great at communication which is a huge plus if you’re freaking out about what size linens to get or where to put decor.
The venue itself is enormous so if you're planning a medium/big wedding (our wedding was around 50 people and felt a little spread out), this is the spot! The bridal suite is gorgeous and spacious; it has a large mirror, a place to hang your dress, areas to sit so all your bridesmaids can hang out and so many beautiful photo opportunities inside the suite.
The rentals they have are pretty inexpensive (just buy/rent the linens from somewhere else). Because of the rain they offered us tents 2-3 days before the wedding and all we had to pay was the rental fee. No added fees what so ever (which is unheard of because tent companies are expensive and usually get booked really quick).
I definitely recommend the "walk-away package" because you don't have to worry about anything, because let's be real, no one wants to clean up on their wedding day. They have two people do it and they were both super efficient, I didn’t even realize they were there until we were about to leave. And please don’t forget to tip them, they’re amazing!
The venue was absolutely perfect. It was more gorgeous the day than I could have hoped for. Valerie and Amber are absolutely fantastic. The Wildflower barn is the perfect setting to put your own style and taste for your perfect day. I couldn't recommend this venue more. Even when we had a slight inconvenience, Valerie and Amber handled the situation with great care and professionalism. The space felt extremely intimate and there was a lot of love to be spread around for our big day. I am so glad we chose this site for our ceremony and reception. It was beyond perfect.
We had our wedding in March 2018 here! We rented the Bluebonnet Barn, and we are so happy we did! We had so much room for the ceremony, reception, and yard games!! Highly recommend the "Walk Away Package" the staff was so friendly and cleaned up after the wedding was over, no fuss and no mess! Through out the entire process everyone we came in contact with the venue was extremely professional, courteous, and flexible! We had the best night of our lives.
We had our wedding at the Wildflower Barn in April 2018 and couldn't have been more pleased with it! Everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We fell in love with the venue from the moment we set foot onto it. The owners are so sweet, and they have kept the property up so well with beautiful foliage and, of course, spectacular wildflower fields. You do have to have a vision for what you want and coordinate to have all of your things brought there and taken home on the same day (make sure to do the Luxury Walk-Away Package with Day-of-Coordinator--Valerie is AMAZING), but the place is so inspiring that it wasn't an issue at all! What's nice is you are not limited in choosing your vendors/caterers/etc., except for a few that they have named (huge bonus)! They own Wildflower Barn Photography (also spectacular--shout out to Amber, lead photographer, and Amanda!), and even though you don't have to use them, it is so worth it, because they know how to capture all the best shots on the property in the best lighting. We went for a rustic hill country feel and it worked really well. It feels really secluded and private with only 2 spots on the venue for weddings, but they are far enough apart on the property where there is no cross-over of sound/people. We had ours in the Meadow Barn. Over all, this place is magical and romantic from the lights strung through the trees to the amazing staff to the fire pit to the beautiful scenery. Highly recommended! Wish we could do it all over again!
What drew us to the Wildflower Barn was the outdoorsy vibe and feel of the venue. We had our hearts set on a wedding in Colorado, but do to family health issues we decided to stick closer to home. When we arrived at the Meadow Barn, we could instantly almost see ourselves in Colorado. It was a great venue to bring other elements into the wedding without it seeming out of place. We learned the Meadow Barn was available on a Saturday during the middle of wildflower seasons. There was no debate. We booked on the spot. We also decided to book the luxury service and hired Valerie as our day of coordinator. If you are having a wedding of a 100 guest or more, I cannot tell you how valuable this service will be to you. Valerie was amazing to work with, so happy, cheerful and genuinely passionate about wedding planning. We received sooo many compliments on the venue and we were so fortunate to have a beautiful Texas Hill Country day to go with it. It was everything me and my husband wanted and could have asked for. An outdoor wedding in the middle of the woods :)
This is the best place ever! I wanted a venue for my small wedding that was outdoors, in the hill country and with wildflowers. This place had it all, even the barn that I didn't know that I wanted until I ran across the site. I wanted to have a DIY wedding and this fit in perfectly. Everyone there is wonderful and helpful. Texts and calls are returned super fast, they answered all of my questions and recommended the best vendors
Gorgeous Venue, totally customizable for a great price!
My guests can't stop talking about how beautiful the Wildflower Barn was for out wedding last fall. I loved the freedom to use whatever vendor I wanted and I LOVED that the lights throughout were not an extra charge. Our pictures with them shining in the back are stunning!
I loved having my wedding here. The staff is friendly and it’s very affordable. Will always recommend.
Excellent!!!!
The Wildflower Barn is truly a magical place and at an affordable price! We got married at the red Bluebonnet barn in late October and it was amazing. The oak trees are stunning with the twinkling lights and the red barn is so rustic and beautiful! The Bluebonnet barn area is so large that it gives you a lot of flexibility to design your wedding and reception multiple ways. The barn also comes with a very beautifully decorated bridal suite which is the perfect place to get ready and drink champagne with all your girls before the big event. We loved this venue because it was stunning, in our budget and gave us so much flexibility on what vendors we used since you can choose your own catering, bartender if you desire or not have one at all, you can also choose to DJ your own wedding with a Spotify playlist if you prefer through their speakers although we ended up finding a great affordable DJ. They do not force you to bring in any vendors or use any of their stuff. You can rent so many things through the barn such as tables, chairs, drink troughs, yard games and so many more things to make your wedding perfect! The other thing we loved about the barn is our day of coordinator Valerie and the VIP walk away package!! These services are so essential to having a perfect stress-free wedding!! Valerie helped me throughout my whole wedding planning process even though technically she was just hired for the week of the wedding. She. Is. Amazing. She talked on the phone with me often when needed and helped me work out so many issues that arose. Valerie always helped me feel less crazy during the planning process because she had a solution to everything. Valerie gave me so many great suggestions to help save me money and keep me in budget for my wedding. She was more like a best girlfriend to me than just a DOC. We feel so blessed to have her during the wedding planning process. She made our day SO perfect despite crazy cold/windy weather conditions and at times nutty family members. The VIP walk away package made our exit after the wedding so smooth by packing up all our stuff so nicely and loading into the car. The twin sisters who worked our event were lovely and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend every bride and groom to find it in their budget to hire a DOC and VIP walk away package. Our guests have repeatedly told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Our photos that came back from our photographer were so gorgeous and unique as there are so many places to have photos done such as open space, by the red barn, near the bridal suite, under the oaks, near the cactus, the list goes on. It’s all so picturesque! Thank you Wildflower barn, Valerie and owners for making our dream wedding come true!! We will always have a fondness in our hearts for Hill Country and the memories you helped us create there.
We absolutely loved the Wildflower Barn—it was a perfect venue for our wedding. The setting is so beautiful and exactly what we wanted for our wedding—it was just as beautiful during the day as it was at night with the twinkly lights in the trees. We worked with Valerie as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure everything went smoothly for our big day—meeting with us multiple times before the wedding to get every detail settled and make sure we felt comfortable and confident going into the wedding day. She also helped with setup for the wedding and coordinated vendors arriving. She made sure to keep us on schedule and also grabbed food and water for us while we took pictures during cocktail hour. Our families and guests commented on how great Valerie was, and we know that our wedding wouldn’t have been as perfect without her there making sure it was. Thanks Valerie!!
Perfect venue, very kind people. Everyone thought the venue was beautiful and loved it
The pictures does not do Wildflower Barn justice! I was sold the moment I walked down that pathway. Everyone that I talked with was helpful and polite and I have to say I was needy and flipped flopped more than I could deal with! I would recommend Wildflower Barn hands down! I would have my wedding there again. The bridal sweet was amazing, the landscape was amazing, and everyone was helpful and willing to meet my needs.
Best venue ever. Valerie on the staff has been the biggest help in answering any questions up until the day before the wedding and calming me down when the chance of rain came up. She even helped my pictures look amazing by making us laugh while the photographer for the shots we asked for. I could not have asked for anything better or different. my guests and i are all so amazed.
We can not say enough about the
wildflower barn or Valerie!! She did such an amazing job from day one and really made the big day go off without a hitch.
When my then fiance (now husband) and I first drove out there, I was like "no way can we ask our friends and family to drive all this way out of Austin, down these windy roads for our wedding." Then, I stepped out of the car and the venue unfolded in front of me. We looked at each other and immediately knew, after the nearly 20 venues that we'd looked at over two years, this was it--we were finally going to get married.
And we did. And it was perfect.
The venue is more beautiful than you can imagine. Your photographs will be effortlessly beautiful because the venue is so breathtaking. All night long, people will tell you how stunning and special and phenomenal this place is--how much like a fairy wonderland. And you will smile with a full heart because it's everything you wanted, and everyone who works there was so helpful and accommodating and kind (even when your husband thought he rented the chairs, but he definitely didn't, and you don't realize until you call them in a panic at 9pm on a friday night two weeks before the wedding, and they very graciously solve everything and laugh with you about the craziness of it all), and it was also, somehow, the least expensive venue you looked into.
Thank you Wildflower Barn :)
This venue was absolutely beautiful for our event. The trees and barn were the perfect backdrop to our hill country wedding and with very easy going staff they made the day fairly easy. My only complaint is in the hot weather I wish there were a cooler place for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. My groom was melting in his suit in the 95 degree weather trying to get ready in the small bathrooms. I do also wish the venue still allowed people in at noon and not 1pm. As that made our timeline feel very rushed. Overall great experience and would recommend them to any new bride.
I had my wedding at the Meadow Barn this May and everything went wonderfully! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, minimal decorations required since the outdoors makes for the best pictures. We added the walk away package, day of coordinator and Wildflower Barn Photography, all of which made my life easier and were outstanding.
I would absolutely recommend the Wildflower Barn.
From the moment we stepped out of the car, we were obsessed! All the trees and twinkly lights! It was absolutely gorgeous, everything we could have imagined! Everyone we came into contact with was incredibly nice and quick to get back to us. They let us come tour the venue to get everything right as many times as we needed!
We had a great time at the Wildflower Barn! They allowed my rowdy group of friends to kick back and enjoy themselves and were very helpful with recommendations. I loved the freedom they gave us. We would definitely recommend them to everyone! :)
I got married at the Wildflower barn in March 2017 - and even though it rained (which was not in my wedding vision) - Valerie and the staff at Wildflower did everything to make the day wonderful. Working with the Wildflower Barn was so easy - and I would highly recommend doing the wedding coordinator/leave easy package. Valerie and the team was worth it. I would get married again at Wildflower Barn in a heartbeat!
11/12/16 was the best day ever at the Wildflower Barn-Bluebonnet Barn!! We loved the rustic feel of the barn, the beautiful trees, and the twinkling lights. The price was affordable, and we loved getting to personalize our wedding with our favorite vendors. Our wedding guests LOVED the venue and kept saying how beautiful it was. Our wedding had the best backdrop of nature, and we will always remember how special it was! We booked Valerie as our day-of-coordinator and were so happy we did! She provided us help from our months leading up to our wedding to the day of our wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went smoothly. Everything came out so perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding!!! :D
We are so glad we chose Wildflower Barn for our November 2016 wedding! Both of the barns they have are beautiful, but we had our wedding at the Meadow barn. We were looking for a venue that would feel very intimate, almost like a backyard gathering. The wildflower barn is off the beaten path, which gives it that intimate feel. We were also looking for a venue that was primarily outdoors and open and the Wildflower barn was that. They entire venue was pretty much all outdoors surrounding by beautiful landscape and trees. They have multiple sites for you to have your ceremony at. The number one thing we loved about the barn was all of the twinkling lights strung up everywhere. Our wedding guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. Finally the thing that sealed the deal for us at the barn was the price. It was by far the most affordable venue we looked at and they had few restrictions on vendors. So you can plan your wedding exactly how you want it, down to all the details. Also, we loved that they have their own coordinating service. We used their wedding coordinator, Valerie, and she was wonderful! She met with me several times before the wedding and gave several helpful vendor suggestions. She took care of everything completely on the wedding day, which was a huge burden off my shoulders! Overall we were so happy with the Wildflower barn and would not have had our wedding anywhere else!
I can't say enough great things about this venue! We got married at the end of November and it was perfect, It's absolutely beautiful! The staff is amazing also! You can't go wrong picking The Wildflower Barn for your venue! I highly recommend!
I had my reception here in the evening and absolutely love the place! I had so many complements all night from my guests and even from those that aren't into this style. They loved the lights. The staff was wonderful and was a tremendous help. I highly recommend the Wildflower Barn for any intimate gathering. You can't beat the price either!
Where do I even begin?! We just got married there 11/18/16 and all I can say is WOW!! Everything was perfect! I was freaking out a bit since the weather was calling for rain on our wedding, but the staff at the Wildflower Barn was able to give me the name of a tent vender and assured me they had a rain plan in place. Luckily, the sun was shining on the day of our wedding however it was COLD!! But with the extra heaters, fire pit and lots of dancing in the beautiful barn, my guests were nice and toasty!! Everyone complimented on how beautiful the venue was and how different!! Valerie was AMAZING!! I had no worries on the day of my wedding, she took care of everything! She even went above and beyond and stopped by my house to pick up my decorations the day before since we live close to one another. I was able to just enjoy my special day with not a care to be had. The Day of Coordinating and Walk Away package is worth every penny! I wish I could re-live this day over and over again!! Thank you for making our wedding spectacular!!
LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE! My husband and I got married at The Wildflower Barn (Meadow Barn) on November 4th and it was PERFECT! I can't say enough great things about the staff, especially Valerie who made our day run smoothly and stress free! Amber, the photographer, was amazing as well! This venue is gorgeous, rustic, inexpensive and intimate. We were VERY impressed and are so happy we chose The Wildflower Barn!
The Wildflower Barn is exactly where you want to have your wedding! All of their staff is friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to provide you with the absolute best customer service. Valerie gave us a tour of the property and her energy and passion heavily swayed our decision on which venue to choose. Valerie was also an attentive Day of Coordinator and helped make our wedding day perfect. The property is gorgeous and a great photography spot. It's obvious that a lot of care and maintenance is put into the property. All of our guests were impressed with the beauty and service at our venue. The Wildflower Barn will provide top of the line experience without top of the line price.
This venue is so beautiful .. We could not say anything bad about the venue. We hired the Shawna who was the day of wedding coordinator. My daughter and I were stressing about the wedding and as soon as we meet with Shawna We felt relieved. I can honestly say that nothing went wrong the day of the wedding. If you are looking for a beautiful rustic country wedding this is the place to have it. If you want a amazing wedding coordinator Hire Shawna.
What a fantastic place! Our wedding was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. They were like family helping to get everything just right and celebrate with us. They were always responsive to any questions or concerns we had and we couldn't be more pleased with how our perfect day turned out. We used the luxury walkaway cleaning service they offer and boy was that a huge help! We were able to procure tables, chairs, and linens through them at more than reasonable prices and loved being able to make the meadow barn our own. Thank you to everyone there!
What a magical venue! Was the first place we toured, and even on a muddy day we could tell that this place was "it!" Chris was so charming - his enthusiasm and general love for what they have going on there is infectious and refreshing. It's clear they take a great deal of care to make the most wonderful days of people's lives extra-special. They have a keen attention to detail. We loved the place so much we rented both barns (having the ceremony and cocktails at one and the reception at the other). They will book both barns in both peak-season and non-peak, and we wanted a little bit of privacy.
This place is entirely DIY (although they have a number of optional add-ons), so you'll be on your own with planning and logistics, but the folks at the barn were always a call/email away, and very reassuring. There's great flexibility in food and beverage, as well as rentals, which I appreciated. My only complaint would be that quiet time is at 10 - too early for a summer wedding (when temps peaked at 100 at 7PM! But their neighbors are nearby, and I appreciate that they are taking that into consideration).
Really though, this is elegant-rustic at its finest, and the people who run the place are just so darn nice. Please go for a tour! Be charmed! Then share how you made the space fit you :) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
