The Wildwood Hotel

There are no words that would be poetic enough to express my thanks to the staff at The Wildwood Hotel! Casey, Trina, and the entire staff were absolutely amazing to work with and made our wedding weekend a huge success. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all held at the hotel. They flipped the room from the ceremony space to the reception while we had our cocktail hour in the hall and it was flawless. I went into wedding planning with no solid ideas about what I wanted and Casey and Trina were able to deliver an absolutely gorgeous space. My Mom passed away 5 months before my wedding and I wanted a memorial table to honor her. Casey and Trina decorated the table to absolute perfection and I cannot tell you how much it meant to us. I am so pleased with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend the Wildwood Hotel for your wedding!

I really enjoyed working with the staff at The Wildwood Hotel! My wedding day turned out perfectly and their staff was a huge part of my receptions success. Casey and Trina quickly replied to all my emails answering all my questions and reviewing what we had arranged. They were not on site the day of my wedding (which did make me nervous), but the event day staff executed everything flawlessly! I was so pleased with how everything turned out. If I had to go back and do it again, I hands down would choose The Wildwood Hotel!

The Wildwood Hotel deserves a million stars for all of the work they did to make our wedding day AMAZING. Below is our review of the hotel, as well as a review of the wedding venue/staff. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff was spectacular. Check in was simple and the staff at the front desk were attentive and provided quality service. I truly have nothing but good things to say about Shannon (Our wedding coordinator) and her staff. Shannon went above and beyond to make our wedding one of a kind. She seamlessly coordinated the event with our photographer and DJ. Her attention to detail and service was of the highest quality. Throughout the night Shannon was getting my husband and I drinks from the bar because we were getting pulled in so many directions (pictures, greeting family etc.). Shannon put together an amazing event and went above and beyond our expectations. Shannon's staff of bartenders and servers really made an impression on myself, and our wedding guests. Richard and Josh were two of our amazing bartenders. Richard and Josh were extremely attentive and kept the drinks flowing throughout the night! We loved their personalities and their service was quick and quality. Our servers were amazing. Tina, Patty, Shamila, Jake, Rayshelle, Nicole, Wesley, Lisa, and Dylan not only provided superior service for our wedding by serving dinner, but they also joined the wedding party in the electric slide! It was amazing to see the servers work so hard, but also hop on the dance floor and join the celebration. Overall, the team at the Wildwood Hotel made our wedding amazing. The venue and hotel were phenomenal, but the people really made our night. We truly want to thank Shannon and her team for all of their hard work!

We had our wedding there last month and it was a fantastic experience. Shannon did an excellent job helping us to pull everything together and make sure things went without a hitch the day of. Everyone we worked with at the hotel was truly willing to go above and beyond to make our day special and several friends commented on how friendly and helpful the staff was. Food was also excellent. All around a wonderful experience.

I got married in December at a nearby wedding venue and I blocked rooms at The Wildwood Hotel for our out of town guests. We set up our first meeting with them months before our wedding; however, the person we were scheduled to meet with did not put our meeting on the calendar and ended up having to leave work early that day. So, they did not know we were supposed to be coming and completely dismissed us and told us to come back another time. Very inconvenient, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. We would have walked away at that point had they not been so conveniently located. After we signed our contract with them, they stopped responding to our emails. So, we called after about a month of unanswered emails and they said that the person we were emailing was no longer in the sales department and gave us a new contact. Absolutely ridiculous. You cannot just stop responding to a customer. Over the course of the next few months we rarely got our emails answered and ended up getting transferred to different managers at least two more times. Also, through all of this, they were horrible at answering their phones! If you call, you will get the front desk who does not know anything about room blocks except how to book them for your guests. Then, they will transfer you to the answering machine of a manager who will never respond to your voicemails. To add to all of this, we had asked them from the beginning if we could book one of their large rooms for our ceremony rehearsal, and they would not let us lock down a room until about three days before the rehearsal because they were waiting to see if other people would lock it down for business parties. Apparently we were low priority to them. Luckily, our guests were treated well. Would not recommend blocking rooms at this hotel.

The Wildwood Hotel and its staf are fantastic. I don't think we could have chosen a better place for our wedding ceremony and reception. From day one when we met Jessica, Director of Sales, we knew we had picked the right place. Jessica and her staff were fabulous! Anything we wanted and asked for she found a way to get it for us and made our wedding day fantastic and better than I ever thought it would be. From the accommodations, to the food, to the staff, to the servers, the chef, everything was on point and went beyond my expectations. When My bustle broke early in the evening because of a snafu on the dance floor, one of our wedding coordinators, Lindsey, took it upon herself to help me fix it. She helped pin my bustle back and made it look great and the rest of the night was awesome! This was a perfect example of how amazing everyone was at The Wildwood. We have recommended them to everyone we know and will continue to do so. I look forward to our first anniversary when we get to go back to The Wildwood and take advantage of the honeymoon suite again because we were married there. I cannot say enough good things about The Wildwood....simply amazing!

The Wildwood Hotel hooked us with its beautiful venue spaces and did NOT disappoint from there! It was very easy working with everyone from planning the reception to food to drinks to decorating etc. Everyone at the Wildwood went above and beyond accomdating our choices and needs and doing it all with a smile on their faces! Everyone said it was the most beautiful and fun reception they have ever been to and staying at the Wildwood and using all the nearby facilities such as resturants, coffee, grocery, haircuts, nail places was SO convenient for out of towners with no car and no clue of the area! The staff did a wonderful job of being incredibly quick with emails, phone calls, and all communication. they made my role as the bride very stressfree, easy, and i felt so incredibly cared for a listened to. I had the absolute best wedding day and the Wildwood is SO MUCH to owe for that!!!!! Everything was so classy and beautiful. Servers, bartenders, and all staff were so kind and excited for us to. I loved how they came up to me with any questions---it felt very transparent to know everything going on! YAY YAY YAY Jessica Kraleman. :)))

I wish there could be 10 stars to give to this place. We had our ceremony and reception there and the entire venue was fabulous. Put together beautifully by Jessica and Lindsay who bent over backwards to make sure that everything went on without a hitch - at least that we knew about. Everything that we could have possibly wanted was taken care of and most of the time well before we even asked about it. We had over 200 people at the wedding and everyone is still raving about the ceremony, the service, and definitely the food. They all said it was restaurant food NOT wedding food. Each and every server came up to us and congratulated my new bride and I on getting married - unheard of. The guest rooms were beautiful and the beds are SUPER comfy. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to plan a wedding or any other event at the Wildwood Hotel - one of the best kept secrets of West County. I cannot stop talking about how magnificent this place and their staff is. THANK YOU LINDSAY & JESS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

The Wildwood Hotel is the PERFECT venue for both the wedding ceremony and reception! Not to mention a fantastic place for you and your guests to spend the night, or entire wedding weekend (the rooms are FABULOUS and reasonably priced)! There are not enough "gold stars" to properly rate this beautiful venue and their entire staff! Their staff, specifically Lindsay Glover (event coordinator), went "above and beyond" in every aspect, to not only make the entire day memorable........ it was magical! She and her staff treated both sides of the family like royalty! Every detail, big, minuet, or in between was "attended to" flawlessly and seamlessly. In short, if the Wildwood Hotel is "on your list" as a venue for consideration, I have no doubt you will be as "over the moon" happy as we were!

We had ceremony and reception at this hotel. Very clean, great continental breakfast for guests and the executive suite makes a great bridal room. We had 3 changes of event coordinator in ten months and the hotel did not do a good job notifying us of the changesame but the day of the event everything went seamlessly and was beautiful. You get a great value for food and open bar here and having everything all in one place was awesome.

The Wildwood Hotel was so accommodating for our recent wedding. We reserved a room block for our guests since our reception site was in St. Albans. It was perfect with the hotel being so close. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were wonderful! My bridal party and I stayed in a larger suite the night before the wedding and it was very large for getting ready the next day, which was great. My husband and I also stayed in one of the Jacuzzi suites the night of the wedding and that was also amazing! Very nice hotel and a great location!

We had our ceremony and reception at The Wildwood Hotel. Our ceremony was in the ballroom and our reception was right across the hall in the Augusta Room, which was just breathtaking! Jenny was our wedding coordinator and was extremely helpful. She was always available for phone calls and responded to emails within an hour of me sending one. She cared just as much as we did about our special day and it really showed! My husband's entire family was traveling from out of town and the hotel was so accommodating to everyone. The rooms were very well taken care of. We loved our complimentary suite for the night of our wedding. It was a great start to our married life/honeymoon. The staff at the hotel is what really put our whole day over the top. So friendly, willing to help out, answer any questions anyone had. People are still talking about the bartenders at the reception. Nobody was ever without a drink, they were dancing and having fun with all the guests and very friendly! We could not be more grateful for the wonderful job The Wildwood Hotel did for us!

My bridal party and I stayed here this past weekend for my wedding in St. Albans. I was a little worried because there were a few balls that were dropped along the way but they fixed them very quickly and kindly. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was good. My maid of honor and I both left behind some pretty important items and they gladly kept them safe behind the counter. Everyone that I encountered was so nice and willing to help.

We loved the Wildwood hotel for our wedding. Elisa the coordinator did a fantastic job and made sure everything was set up perfectly. We enjoyed how nice and new the ballroom was and how clean the hotel is. The ballroom room rental was very reasonable and the hotel rooms were reasonably priced as well. We would highly recommend the wildwood hotel!
