The Windsor at Hebron Park

When we first visited and booked this venue everything was great. Sara was our representative at The Windsor that we were working with. Unfortunately things went south the day before our wedding. While heading to our scheduled rehearsal we were called and asked if we had a rehearsal scheduled. I said yes and they said oh it was not on the schedule but we have someone coming and you will still have your hour to do the rehearsal. Our rehearsal started around 4:30p (30 mins late). Another group arrived promptly at 5p and we were informed they had a rehearsal and we needed to leave the chapel. In addition to all of this we learned Sara was no longer with the company and we would have a new person (Kirby) assisting us. Sara apparently left 2 weeks prior. Note- this would have been beneficial information to know so that we could have had time to discuss/review our wedding vision and plans with the new assistant to make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was on the same page. So we were rushed for our rehearsal. The morning of I called Kirby and spoke with her. Informed her of all that Sara and I had discussed and our vision for that day. NONE of that happened. Kirby was very rude to our guests. Multiple of guests felt she was rude, she seemed as if she was irritated and it clearly showed. Professionalism was thrown out of the window. Some guests felt they were racially discriminated against as well. Once the wedding was over I contacted the facility in hopes to speak with the owner regarding our concerns on how everything went. We received an email from the manager David and we spoke with him about our concerns. The only resolution was that we received a refund for the vegan specialty meals bc our guests never received them. We felt due to all of the issues, poor communication, some type of resolution should be on their end. Instead we were asked what did ‘we’ want to be done. We still insisted to speak to the owners. David stated, ‘as previously mentioned, the owners are not directly involved with the day-to-day operations for the venue and catering, however they have been made aware of your request to speak with them. You mentioned in your email you would like “something to be done” about “clear mismanagement”. Please provide me with a specific request I can forward to them, otherwise they consider the matter closed. This place which is minority owned one would think would be more sensitive to how their paying guests are being treated. They clearly do not care. If you want to spend over 15K and be disrespected then this is the place for you. If not go somewhere else because they do not care.

I recently had my 50th Birthday Party at the Windsor at Hebron Park. Everything was fantastic; the setup, buffet/food, and bar/drinks were perfect, and there were no complaints! It has been such a positive experience; Sara was outstanding from beginning to end, a true gem, and her customer service is stellar. I had such a fun time planning the party with her. I will be referring to all my friends and family, and I look forward to working with you all again. The party was such a hit I plan on having one every 5-year milestone going forward!

We got married this January and we cannot say enough good things about the Windsor and especially Sara. She made the whole wedding planning process enjoyable and was such a blessing on the actual wedding day. All the guests raved about how good the food was! We truly had the wedding of our dreams!
