We just celebrated our wedding at The Wooly and it was an absolute dream! The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, making our special day completely stress-...
free. The venue itself is stunning, offering the perfect ambiance for our celebration. But the true star of the show was the food - top notch cuisine that wowed all our guests! We couldn't recommend The Wooly more highly for anyone looking for a flawless event space.
My wife and I had our wedding reception at The Wooly in March, and we still constantly talk about what an amazing job Bailey and her staff did for us on the biggest day of our live...
s! Bailey was incredible to work with and made whatever crazy idea (orange and blue glittery Jello shots!) we had come to life. We had our food catered through them, and they were able to make a cohesive and tasty custom food/drink menu for us. We were also offered a food tasting prior to our wedding so we could try out our food choices and make any changes we felt necessary. We still have friends and family talk to us about how good the food was at our wedding. The Wooly staff working the night of our wedding were also top notch! They even adjusted the lighting in the venue to help match the color palette that we had. They were very professional, attentive to our guests and very nice people. In my opinion, there is no better place in Gainesville to hold events at. They are in a league of their own.

moothly. The venue was great and we would like to thank all of the staff that were respectful and professional. During our reception there was a wandering person who came in through the front door and before anyone could notice the staff walked them out. The catering was also incredible! A lot of our guests complimented us on the food that was served and for the drinks at the bar. We also got our wedding cake done through the Wooly’s catering and it came out beautifully! We highly recommend this venue to anyone in the area!

f space for my guest count of 100 and they layout worked really well for my group. Great location in the heart of downtown Gainesville. We even walked to a local bar after!
This venue was truly perfect for our wedding reception. It's in the heart of downtown Gainesville and the venue itself has an art deco flare to it. The best thing about it all was ...
Bailey, the event coordinator, who was so responsive and detail oriented. She executed our vision beyond what we had even imagined and was so accommodating. And the Wooly team was so friendly and professional during the wedding. The food was catered by, Gainesville favorite, The Top. We have received an enormous amount of compliments on the venue and the reception itself.
All of Bailey's recommendations were great as well. We went with Cameron Burress for the DJ, Mercer & Smith for day of coordination, and Ladybug Blooms for our florists.
After the reception all the friends went right across the street to The Atlantic and University Club to keep the party going. We are grateful that we went with the Wooly because it was perfect.
Will post pictures once we get them back from our photographer.
