A beautiful venue with staff that were extremely helpful and communicated clearly all the way through. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding here!
Had our wedding at The Wright House was nothing short of magical. From the moment we first visited the venue to our wedding day, everything exceeded our expectations. Here's what made our wedding at The Wright House so special:
Charming and Historic Setting: The Wright House's historic architecture and beautifully restored home provided a captivating backdrop for our wedding. The vintage charm of the venue added a unique and romantic touch to our special day.
Versatile Spaces: The variety of indoor and outdoor spaces allowed us to create a wedding that truly reflected our vision. We held our ceremony in the lush garden, followed by a reception in one of their elegant ballrooms. The flexibility of the venue was a huge plus.
Gardens and Grounds: The gardens and grounds were impeccably maintained, offering a picturesque setting for both our ceremony and wedding photos. The lush greenery, blooming flowers, and charming fountains made for stunning visuals.
"Come and Go" Package: We opted for The Wright House's "Come and Go" package, which perfectly suited our style. This package allowed us to have a relaxed and sociable cocktail-style reception where our guests could mingle and enjoy a variety of delicious appetizers and drinks throughout the evening.
Professional Event Coordination: Candi was hands down the best wedding coordinator and dream to work with. She was attentive to every detail and helped ensure our day flowed seamlessly, even with a less traditional reception style. Her experience and expertise were evident throughout the planning process.
Guest Comfort: Our guests' comfort was a top priority. The venue's amenities, including ample parking and well-maintained facilities, made our guests feel welcome and relaxed.
Photography Opportunities: Every corner of The Wright House seemed tailor-made for stunning wedding photos. Our photographer had a field day capturing the beauty and romance of the venue, ensuring we have lasting memories to cherish.
Location: The venue's location near Phoenix made it convenient for both local and out-of-town guests. Its accessibility was appreciated by everyone who attended.
In conclusion, choosing The Wright House for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. The venue's historic charm, versatile spaces, excellent services, and attention to detail created an unforgettable wedding experience. Our day was filled with love, joy, and beauty, thanks in large part to The Wright House and its dedicated staff. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to couples looking for a romantic and memorable wedding setting with the option of a "Come and Go" package. Our wedding day was a dream come true, and The Wright House played a significant role in making it so.
We had our destination wedding here! They made it so easy to plan and talk and give ideas all via FaceTime. Being from out of town I naturally lowered my expectations only because I knew I wasn’t going to be able to see the venue until I got there. Let me tell you, I shouldn’t have. It was STUNNING. A perfect secret garden, with tons of charm and so quaint. The staff was unbelievable. Everyone was so friendly and we had zero problems. We used all the vendors they provided and we couldn’t be happier. Marshall was our day of manager and he should win an award for how organized and calm he is. Would recommend 10 out of 10. The neighborhood pulling up made me slightly nervous as it looked a little run down and off a busy road, but once you get into the property you’re completely cut off from the outside world.
Any questions?
We had the privilege of getting married at the Wright House on the Provencal side on 2/4/23. We don’t have the words to express how perfect and magical our day was! Our original wedding date was 12/10/22 but after some unexpected changes, we had to push the wedding back a few weeks and Spencer was incredibly accommodative and kind during the process - he switched everything over for us at no charge the same day we asked about it. We were very lucky to work with Rainey as our bridal consultant who was phenomenal and we used many of the vendors the Wright House provided as part of our package, including Ellen for flowers, Sue Jacobs bakery for our desserts, Park Ave catering, and Travis as our DJ. We were happy with all of the services provided. Stacey was our day of coordinator and kept the day running smoothly - everything was on time, organized, and well thought out. Thank you to the Wright House for making the best day of our life so special! We will recommend you to everyone we can!
We had the best time throwing our wedding at the Wright House. They made the whole process really smooth from our tour till the day we received the deposit back in the mail. Spencer was always so quick to answer questions. Rainy was our number one contact and she was always available to answer questions and made us feel really comfortable and confident throughout the process. Huge shoutout to Tiffany she worked behind the scenes as our day of coordinator and everything ran perfectly. There was a moment before the ceremony that I realized I had not been out to check if everything was in place, set up, and ready to go but I didn't need to because Tiffany took care of it perfectly. Not only was she taking care of us there was an emergency at the other venue and she was running both at the same time. I never even noticed that is how good she is at her job. We can't say thank you enough for such a gorgeous and easy event.
Absolutely gorgeous venue, and the staff is extremely nice. Rainee is amazing to work with!!
However the day of was unnecessarily hectic and a little disappointing.
Details that were previously discussed had seemed to be forgotten and the wrong music was played during our ceremony. The vendors through the venue at first seemed nice and professional, but day of the food was cold and the desserts were dry.
All of the above issues were okay with us, not everything needs to be perfect- but the biggest complaint was the DJ through the venue. He was extremely rude to my guests, did not play any requests (even though we were fine with guest requests), and did not play any of our playlist that we sent to him.
After the event, we had contacted the Wright House to offer feedback, but they never responded.
Again, gorgeous venue, but the tiny issues stacked up to make our day less memorable.
The Wright House is wonderful!! From our very first tour of the property through the end of our reception on our wedding day, the team members were nothing but helpful and friendly to us. My husband and I were the first of our friends to get married, so in all honesty we didn't really know what we were doing, but The Wright House team and the packages they provide made the entire wedding planning process so easy and so fun. Their planning and communication timeline was super helpful - I loved that they would check in every few months to see how things were going, and they were always so accommodating whenever I asked to set up additional planning meetings. We planned our wedding from out of state, so having those additional calls and making sure we could squeeze in-person meetings in whenever my husband and I were in town was SO helpful and took a lot of stress off our plates. We also LOVED Tiffani, our day of coordinator!! She was so easily accessible through call/text, and she kept our day on track completely. She also checked in during dinner and personally got refills of our drinks of choice, and checked in throughout the night which was super sweet. A few days before the wedding, the Best Man was telling me that something goes wrong, even if it's small, at every wedding so I shouldn't stress too much about the details on the big day - the day after the wedding he told me he'd been proved wrong and that our day was absolutely perfect. Thank you thank you thank you to the entire Wright House team (especially Tiffani!!) for making our day flawless and for making us feel so special. We also had so many guests comment on how beautiful the venue is (we got married on the Provencal side), and I will absolutely be adding photos to this review when we get our full wedding album. :)

Beautiful venue but is pretty small. I also didn't like how the dinner area and the dancing area were completely different. Made them feel separated and lacked flow.
The venue is without a doubt the most gorgeous garden venue in the area! Their customer service is stellar. They worked with us on EVERYTHING and made our dreams come true. My wedding day was truly stress free because of all the effort they put in to make the day a dream come true.
I love love love their venue and team! They were so accommodating and I would recommend them to anyone!
The Wright House was amazing through our entire planning process. Rainey our coordinator up to the day of the wedding was very easy to be reached! Their process with vendor night for their preferred vendors really helped bring everything in the planning process under one roof, which was great due to our busy work schedules. Candi was a wonderful day of coordinator and made sure that our day went off without a hitch! They truly helped us to have the fairytale wedding of our dreams!
My husband and I were married at the Provencal venue at The Wright House. I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about this venue. We chose the Emerald Package for our special day. From day one, Spencer Wright was easy to reach and happy to answer any questions we had about the planning process and our special day. The Wright House hosted my husband, mother, and I at a vendor night where we sat down and met with our caterer, DJ, bartender, and cake baker. It was so convenient to be able to plan most of the wedding in one fun night. The food choices were absolutely delicious, there was a wide selection of alcohol to choose from, the cake was tasty (with other dessert options offered as well) and Travis, our DJ, was truly AMAZING! On another meeting, we met with Ellen the florist (included in our wedding package) and I was so happy with the way our floral centerpieces came out. A month before our wedding we met with Rainey and she went over the flow/timeline of the evening and we chose all of the small details (tablecloths/linens, chair ties, decor placement, centerpieces, etc). Our wedding rehearsal went smoothly with Tiffany Wright as our wonderful Day-of-Wedding Coordinator. She is a gem! Our bridal party, my husband, and I felt prepared and excited for the wedding after the rehearsal. This venue also allows you to bring in all wedding extras and decor on the day of your rehearsal so that you do not have to worry about lugging a car full of items on the day of your wedding. On the day of the wedding, everything was set up, prepared, and displayed when we arrived at the venue at 2:00 and it all looked SO nice. A huge thank you goes out to Tiffany Wright who was there throughout the whole night making sure everything ran smoothly and my husband and my needs were met. I felt like everything was handled and taken care of so we could really enjoy our special day without any worries. Our wedding was at 4:00. The ceremony was beautiful and the sound system worked great. Travis, the DJ, took over after the ceremony and made sure that the guests knew the events of the night and were not left wondering what to do or where to go next. The dinner was delicious and many guests commented on how it was the best, most tender chicken they had ever had. The dance floor was full all night long and I attribute that to Travis' high energy and music selection. The night ended with a beautiful sparkler send off and a limo ride to our hotel room (included in the package). Tiffany and Spencer Wright even packaged up a couple of to-go meals and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy in our hotel room that night. This night was truly a DREAM and I could not be any happier with choosing The Wright House for our special day. Our guests are still commenting how it was one of the most beautiful weddings and unique venues that they have ever been to. Thank you to The Wright House for turning our dream wedding into reality!
The Wright House is AMAZING! We had our wedding at the Provencal side on 4/6 and cannot say enough great things about the venue and the staff. Spencer made the process so fun and easy, from the day we toured all the way up to the wedding day. I highly suggest going with one of the offered packages, everything is included, which means you get to show up on your wedding day and just enjoy (instead of stressing about setting up).
Tiffani was our day of coordinator and was fantastic. She brought a very calm, but very organized, demeanor which is what every bride should have!!
Thank you Wright House for giving us the most perfect wedding, your gardens created such an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere that everyone enjoyed!
Beautiful location! It’s not often you find a venue that’s so green and like a fairy tale right in the middle of Arizona. All of our guests commented on how gorgeous everything was. We were able to bring in our own vendors and the set up staff did an amazing job of decorating for our day. My only recommendation would be to make sure you’re on the same page with how involved your coordinator is. We had expectations of our coordinator being much more involved and that wasn’t the case, which ended up being a little hectic day of. I’d highly recommend this venue!
The Wright House is simply amazing. BOOK WHILE YOU CAN!! We booked one of the last spots of 2018. Spencer the owner is so kind, accommodating, and easy to get along with. It's like planning a wedding with a friend! Not to mention, his wife, Tiffany is literally the sweetest person you could have as your wedding coordinator. She made sure our wedding went on schedule and everyone knew where they were supposed to be. The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS and our photos turned out so amazing. They look like they are out of a fairytale. The fact that you can use outside vendors for anything you want is SUPER RARE. We used most of The Wright House vendors to make life easy but also a few outside vendors we liked. Hands down, I would get married here 100% if I had to do it again and I am a SUPER indecisive. Believe me, you WON'T regret it!!
The Wright House was absolutely perfect for my ceremony. There was a minor hiccup with my date but the staff at the Wright House made sure everything was handled professionally and were very upfront with me. I will sing their praises to anyone who asks!
The Wright House was amazing. Everyone keeps telling me it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to in years. Almost everything is included in the packages provided for an affordable price, and they are great at helping you figure out how to have your dream wedding. We worked mostly with Rainey before the wedding, and Candy was our day of coordinator. I cannot say enough about these ladies. My day went without a hitch!! Absolutely reccomend 110%!!
I can't say enough about this gorgeous venue and all of the people who work there. We were on the garden side/ball room and everything looked PERFECT the day of the wedding. The Reception especially was SO beautiful, from the flowers to the place settings, there was nothing I would have changed. And don't even get me started on our even coordinator! She was a God-send. Our flower girl got sick and the MOH needed a tampon and the coordinator sent someone TO THE DRUG STORE to help them out! Everything was so organized, when I asked where something was the coordinator had an immediate answer to put me at ease. To top it all off, my hubby and I were dropped off at home by their limo and realized (at around 11:30 PM!!!) that we'd left our video camera in the seat. The Coordinator picked up the phone when I called and made sure the limo driver brought our camera back that night so we'd have it for our honeymoon the next day. I cannot say enough about the wonderful people who work here and the beautiful setting. I would do it all again in a heart beat!
I got married on 4/7/18 on the Provencal side. The grounds are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for in a venue, a Tuscan garden that was romantic. We had our ceremony/dinner outside with the dancing inside. Its truly a gorgeous venue and got tons of compliments! The food was fabulous! We got the emerald package :) Getting married at the wright house was overall great, however they can improve on a few things. The vendor night where you go and get to meet all your vendors and get to do all of your food/cake tastings and meet with the DJ and the bartender is SUPER rushed. I also was under the impression we would get to sample multiple types of food to pick from but that wasn't the case. We only tried one main dish, and two sides...... However the food was good, just wished they had provided an array of options to taste that are options. Hard to pick something you have never tried. Our Bartender did not show up to vendor night so that was a little stressful. The second thing is that the wright house needs to be more proactive, when you sign up with a package they scsheudle you for a vendor night, a meeting to go over all décor with Marilyn, as well as the meeting two weeks prior to meet with you day of coordinator. Well if I hadn't have reached out them, I'm not sure any of those meetings would have taken place. And in addition there times to meet are not flexible at all, they are always during the work day and you are only given a couple days notice. These are things they could work on, they should be reaching out to the bride even before she has to start to think why haven't I heard from them yet, shouldn't we be meeting soon?? Also, as part of the emerald package you get your centerpieces made by their in house florist. I did not have her do any of my other flowers, I chose someone else. Their florist was supposed to reach out to my florist whom i provided her contact information with so they could make sure everything was coordinated and used the same flowers. However, their florist did not even call mine, so I got a call from the wright house florist two weeks before my wedding at 9pm on a week night asking what kind of flowers i wanted. It was a little sketchy, and made me super nervous. They need to get organized and up with the times, step it up. Overall, I would recommend the wright house, Candy did a great job as my coordinator, they took care of everything and the day went so smooth! I had the perfect wedding, would not have changed anything!
Beautiful venue - they did a great job!
We had our wedding at the Provencal side of the Wright House in November. The venue is absolutely gorgeous! We had so many compliments about how beautiful the location was and how intimate our ceremony felt, despite there being about 75 people there. We loved all of the details and beautiful spots for photos!
Candi was our day-of coordinator and she did an amazing job! At the rehearsal she was thorough and very patient with my large family. At the wedding and reception she was always available and made sure that everything stayed on track the whole night. Can't say enough about her, thank you Candi!
We purchased the middle package for our wedding where most of the "big" stuff was taken care of by The Wright House. We met with them only a handful of times in the year before the wedding, once to pick vendors and twice as it got closer to the wedding to talk about details. For us, this was great and was just the amount of involvement that we needed! When we did meet with them it was very organized and we felt like every detail was covered. Big thank you to The Wright House!
Can I hug you all one more time and tell you thank you again!!??? We had such an amazing wedding! Thank you to Spencer, Tiffany, Rainy and the rest of the staff at The Wright House. Our wedding got canceled by our other venue 34 days before our wedding. We luckily found The Wright House and they were able to work with us to get our wedding re-scheduled and planned in 2 weeks! We did have to change our date but they were SO accommodating. We had about 3 separate meetings and we were able to put everything together with no problems. The vendors they use and recommend to us were amazing as well. I didn't have any issues with a thing. They decorated beautifully, the staff was amazing I cant say that enough, the ceremony was perfect and the reception was beyond amazing. The Provencal was breathtaking when I showed up! Everything I thought of and asked for and pictured came to life beautifully! I was a little worried about having a wedding next to us at the Ballroom while we were at the Provencal, but you couldn't hear the other wedding at all. There is enough parking and you didn't even realize they were there. Planning was simple, they give you a ton of different options for everything, they are very patient and understanding and they have a few different packages you can choose from to make the wedding exactly what you want. I was not able to be to the venue early before the ceremony so when I showed up my guests were already seated. I peeked out and everything was PERFECT! After our ceremony and pictures I walked around a little and noticed they went above and beyond to make our wedding special and to give it the exact feel and look we wanted. I cant wait to get pictures back from our photographer and post them! I cant say thank you enough!!!! You guys were truly amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for pulling us out of our lump and all our original issues and saving the day!
We had our wedding at the Provencal in June, and it was no less than magnificent! We were impressed by the staff, and their ability to listen and turn our vision into reality. We live outside the US and had our niece, who lives in a neighboring state, help us organize the entire event. The Wright House staff didn't bat an eye, and worked with us long distance to make our special day flawless. We had a small wedding with a plated meal and the staff decorated the table exactly how we envisioned it. It couldn't have been more perfect! It was such a magical day with a beautiful venue. Honestly, five stars do not seem to be high enough praise. Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone at the Wright House who helped us! Well done!
The Wright House is beautiful! We immediately fell in love with the Provencal side and although we looked at a couple other venues, we couldn't get over how beautiful this venue is. I like how even their most basic package (which is the route we went since we wanted to bring in most of our own vendors) includes tables/linens/dinnerware as well as fresh floral centerpieces. We actually purchased our own vases so that our guests could take home the flowers after the reception which was nice.
We had our wedding the first weekend in June. It was hot out (108 that day), but by the time our ceremony started at 5:30 the sun had started to go down and while it was still warm, it wasn't unbearable. There's enough shade and greenery to keep it a few degrees cooler in the venue. By dinner time (we had to do dinner outside as the Provencal side was too small to accommodate all 90 guests inside) it was actually kind of nice out.
The only issue I had was a lack of communication right before our wedding. I was pretty laid back when it came to my wedding but I could see how other brides might have had a meltdown/freaked out, as I was not contacted by anyone to go over final details (supposed to be done 2 weeks before wedding)...I was so busy myself that I didn't even realize until 5 days out from the wedding and reached out to them. I was given my day-of coordinator's phone number and luckily she was able to meet with me the next day! Lori definitely made up for it, though, she was so sweet and was always available and made sure everything was perfect for my wedding.
All we had to do was show up. They took care of everything for us and everyone commented on how beautiful our venue was.
Great venue! Beautiful grounds and and overall magical experience
The aesthetics are beautiful here, but I am docking them a star because they are kind of a pain to deal with leading up to the wedding. The garden is absolutely gorgeous, and they set up the reception hall very nicely for the actual event. They somehow keep the garden green and lovely all year round. Our coordinator, Candi, was also very good.
However, they are bad at responding to e-mails, bad at responding to voicemail, and there seems to be literally no note-taking or communication among staff members, so you end up having to tell every person who works there the same info six different times. The day-of coordinator isn't assigned until just a couple weeks before the wedding, so you have to do most of the planning with someone else, who may give you different info from the day-of-coordinator.
One thing to keep in mind is that they sprung a lot of things on us the week of our wedding, such as needing to provide our own cups for the bar, having to pay to use their chafer pans to keep our food warm, that kind of thing. I think the thing I was most angry about was that I called four weeks before our wedding and requested that the Wright House touch base with our caterer and make sure our caterer understood the Wright House's requirements, since we had lost the handout from the Wright House that contained the catering requirements. The Wright House waited until one week prior to our wedding to contact the caterer, who then refused to do a bunch of things the Wright House expected, so we had to drop $600 at the last minute to hire staff. Part of me wonders if they neglected that request on purpose so that we would just need to hire their staff since there wouldn't be a lot of time to shop around for better prices.
Also, Ellen (their florist) is awful to deal with. There were at least three occasions on which she said she'd get back to me and never did. At one point, she told me she'd provide a "fine-tuned quote" for bouquets within a week, and then I did not hear back from her until I followed up three months later, at which point she requested information I'd already given her and then re-sent the exact same quote she'd previously provided. She's fine for the centerpieces, but find someone else if you want bouquets for the bridal party. They are aware that Ellen doesn't respond to e-mail, but maintain that e-mail is the best way to contact her and told me to just send her more e-mails.
All in all, the actual wedding went very well. However, they made the preparation process more stressful than necessary.
I was super excited about having my wedding reception at the Provencal venue at the Wright House! This venue was exactly what I was wanting and it turned out looking beautiful! The problem with the Wright House was the horrible customer service that we had to deal with the day of the wedding and the day before. I got a call the day before my wedding from Tiffany Wright. I have never spoken with her or seen her before. Instantly I felt she was attacking me on the phone. She made many rude comments about what I needed to have done before the next day, but the worst was her last comment. She asked me if I was using "their sparklers or my own". I told her I was using my own and then asked her why they didn't tell me that my package deal came with sparklers. Her response was "Oh.. I forgot we don't usually tell Mormon weddings about the sparklers. They tend to have too many people at their receptions". So I find out that I was supposed to have free sparklers but that they actually kept that from me to save themselves money... WEDDING DAY: My decorators were at the venue at 3 pm to decorate...and nobody from the Wright House was there to unlock the building!!! 3 pm was always the communicated time and nobody was even there until 4!!! My decorators and family were so stressed trying to put everything together because they were an hour behind. Then Tiffany Wright (who I had never met) was walking around telling everyone what to do. I hired people to fill up drinks and food, NOT to serve the food. I wanted my dinner to be buffet style! Well... Tiffany told my workers that they must serve the food which left us short on people and lead to my SISTER working the entire night! She didn't even come out of the kitchen until the first dance! I wanted to cry when I heard this. Oh and it doesn't stop here.... The Wright House failed to place the sign on the street pointing for my reception so that lead to all my guests (including my grandparents who can barely walk) having to walk across the entire two venues as they did not know where to park. Finally, Tiffany tried to end my wedding reception at the time that was previously agreed upon. I was ANGRY. You show up an hour late and then you don't expect me to stay an extra hour? We never ended up getting our extra hour. Overall, the venue was beautiful and I loved my wedding but specifically Tiffany Wright made the actual day a nightmare for many people. I honestly feel that we should have been reimbursed in some way for their horrible service and her attitude. I would have given the Wright House 5 stars for its beauty but out of everything that could have gone wrong on my wedding, customer service should NEVER have been the problem.
Response from the Vendor on 03/21/2017
We are so sorry this was your experience. At The Wright House this is definitely not the quality we strive to provide. Know that we are committed to making this right and we'll be in contact with you.
This place was fabulous! They were so kind and flexible. Having our wedding here really was a dream come true. We felt like we were in a fairytale the entire time. Thank you Wright House!
We had our wedding here and it was beautiful. The staff is great and the venue provides a very scenic ambiance. We had a very small ceremony and they helped include all the elements of a big wedding. Lori was very helpful on the day of the wedding and made sure everything went just as we planned.
From the first preview visit to the last guest leaving everything was perfect. I lived all the help and accessibility I had to the staff. Marylin was amazing during the first walk through, and I would have been lost with out Candi our manager day of. Everyone was always super friend,y and understanding and willing to do all they could to accommodate everyone i our family who wanted to be part of the planning. We highly recommend this venue for your wedding. We were on the provincial, and it was magical.
Thank you!!
The Wright House (Provencal) was beautiful. All of our out of town guests raved about how gorgeous it was. I chose the Diamond package, so that they would take care of most of the planning. For the most part that was a good decision. The alcohol was covered, the cake was delicious, the flowers were gorgeous, and the DJ was phenomenal. All of the vendors worked together great. I was not please with the limited selection however. While it was convenient, I was not able to try all of the dishes my caterer offered. If I didn't like what was served at vendor night, I had to guess and trust that it would be okay. Luckily the flowers and the cake were good, otherwise I would have been disappointed. While I would recommend this venue, I would not recommend doing the package deals. Take a look at their vendors, but do some shopping around and enjoy the planning experience.
I’m not sure if I can say enough positive things about the beautiful garden setting of The Wright House. We had our ceremony and reception at the Provencal venue. The venue is breathtaking. Our guests commented consistently that the beautiful grounds really added to the experience, with all the fountains, flowers, and lights it felt almost magical. The convenience of the venue providing all of the tables, chairs, table and chair linens, fresh flower center pieces, glassware, flatware, linen napkins, and plates was worth the price. I didn’t have to worry about setting anything up or taking down decorations, which meant my husband I could really just enjoy our wedding.
Here are a few things I didn’t know or understand before the final walk through or rehearsal that I wish I had known:
• Everyone and all your personal items or decorations need to be out of the venue by 11:30 p.m..
• The bride’s room is more than adequate for getting dresses, but has some logistical issues if you are planning to do hair and makeup there for the bridal party (definitely not enough tables). The flowers for the gazebo are not included in the wedding packages.
• The groom’s room is a very small area that you had to go through the men’s restroom to get too.
• Have your photo booth in the cottage at the Provencal where the dancing and cake were located so conveniently located so that guests could still feel a part of the reception and still take photos.
• The Wright House really helped us out by letting us get into the venue an hour earlier than our contract so we could do hair and makeup. I didn’t realize the timeframe was so ridged though it makes sense since The Wright House is selling couples time to have their celebrations there.
• The Wright House didn’t assign a day-of- coordinator to me until 10 days before, which I understand is their typical practice
Overall, if I had it to do over, I would definitely have had our wedding at The Wright House.
Very nice, we had a time of our life there. Everyone enjoyed and thanks to Stacy our wedding was the Best!!!
I had seen pictures on The Wright House's website and thought it was incredibly beautiful. When I visited the venue on an open house night I soon realized those pictures didn't do it justice. This place is beyond beautiful its absolutely gorgeous and exudes this old school charm. The staff is friendly, helpful, and focused solely on the their one goal of making the bride and groom happy. They have amazing packages that took the stress and worry of planning off my shoulders so that I could fully enjoy the planning process and my big day. The Wright House and their staff made my wedding day absolutely perfect and more than I could have ever dreamed of!!
After searching for months we decided on The Wright House. The customer service leading up the day was fantastic and they did a great job at taking our vision and executing it.
I absolutely loved everything about the wright house. The coordniator was easy to work with, the set up staff put everything in its place and nothing wrong happened. Don't have one complaint at all about the venue.
The venue was absolutely stunning! we had an evening wedding and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place! The preferred vendors could have been more on their toes, we did not receive the food we chose and the DJ did not get back to us until a week before the wedding
The wright house was just perfect. The staff was amazing. They helped us with everything and made our day perfect. Everything we picked out was set up exactly the way I wanted and my day ran so smooth. The venue is just gorgeous. We were on the garden side and it truly was a garden. The ceremony area had beautiful grass and flowers every where. The reception area was in a beautiful dining room with Victorian vintage decor and it easily fit my 100 guests. They helped me be completely ready for my big day with meetings and keeping me updated on everything. The price was amazing as well. They have two packages, one that includes everything and another that is just the venue, chairs and tables and all linens. I would recommend this venue to anyone in arizona. Best deal for the best venue.
We had originally chosen the garden area, but switched to the Provencal room. we did this because of the bugs that were at the garden room. the staff was amazing, she helped us out with every step and made us feel very comfortable. it was great area for pictures and i loved that i got to walk down a flight of stairs and overlooked everybody
The Wright House was more than I could have dreamed of, and my fiance and I (both teachers) were able to afford it. We absolutely loved The Wright House from our first meeting to wedding day!
We were married on the garden ballroom side. From the first email I sent The Wright House everyone was very helpful and got back to me within a day. They took care of every detail and made sure everyone involved knew what they were supposed to to. Our day of coordinator, I didn't see much of but she was busy getting everything in order. My only complaint was we couldn't find the bouquet my mom made me after we left and they never said they found it. I had to drive 45 mins to go find it myself 2 weeks later. Everything was a dream come true, I can't put into words how happy I was.
I have always loved The Wright House. When I got engaged I knew that was where I wanted to have our reception. Everyone was super nice and the wedding was perfect
We had a lovely garden wedding! It's such a beautiful venue, wedding coordinator was very helpful. No complaints.
Spencer and the rest of the staff at The Wright House were professional and helpful. When our ceremony musician canceled 2 weeks before the wedding, they immediately provided a list of groups they were familiar with and offered to help in any way they could. We had an address issue with our Save The Dates and (multiple times) accidentally sent many of them to The Wright House, instead of the guests. They joked with us about it and happily set all of them aside for us to pick up. From first meeting (we actually interrupted a graduation and Spencer still managed to find time to meet with us and show us the venue) to grand exit at the wedding, everyone was great to work with. I should also mention how beautiful the Garden Room is! You would never guess you were in the middle of the desert when you step in the garden. Absolutely stunning. After the wedding, my husband and I both commented that if we had to do it all over again, we would absolutely go with The Wright House again!
My wedding manager Candida at the wright house did an amazing job. Everything looked exactly how I wanted it. The seating arrangment had to be changed at the last minute and it was all taken care of very smoothly. The only thing that was a little nerve wrecking was the process up until the wedding day. I only meet with the wedding coordinator Marilyn 3-4 times and for only 2 hours tops. It's a little nerve wrecking but everything turned out beautifully so they must know what there doing.
Now as far as there in house dj selections I wish they understood from the beginning when I said I wanted a blingual dj, I wanted someone who knew enough about Spanish music that he would understand the crowd. I gave him a few songs to go off of and I thought he could take it from there but I think he freaked out a little because then he would start playing music like the YMCA. I even gave him slow song suggestions for the dollar dance to use but when my selections ended he would play country songs which I don't get why he would have chosen those to play since all my selections were either Spanish or R&B songs. But he did try his hardest and he even did worm on the dance floor which was amazing!!! There was still lots of people dancing and thank goodness for the event manager Candida who is Hispanic and was able to give Travis the dj some good Banda songs. All in all though it was an amazing night.
We had our wedding at the Wright House last April. What a fantastic place it was to have our wedding. Our guests kept telling us how beautiful the gardens were. Thank you Wright House.
Response from the Vendor on 01/31/2012
Thanks for letting us know we succeeded in fulfilling your expectations. It is always our goal to give each bride the personal attention she deserves. It was a pleasure working with you and your families.
The wright housewas amazing! They tak care of everything and I did not have to wrry about anything the day of the wedding!
The Wright House was amazing! I used the venue and brought in all of my own vendors. The place is so beautiful that no decorations were needed. Included in the package price was a day of wedding coordinator, tables, chairs, linens, plates, silverware, glasses, centerpieces, security, set up and take down, and even a limo ride for the bride and groom after. If you haven't seen this place it is perfect! And very very affordable!
I am so pleased we chose to have our reception at The Wright House. The entire process was great as well as the day of the wedding. The landscaping is beautiful outside and the inside is very classy.
I recently had my wedding on the Garden Provencal side for a large wedding of a bit over 250 guests. Due to the size, they worked up a customized package for our needs and were completely flexible and a great value for the cost. They also allowed an outside caterer and for me to bring in all of our own decor and details which saved a ton of money. I couldn't give 5 stars on quality, because we used their sound system, which we were told would work with an iPod player but while dancing the sound went out about 5 times. It was very frustrating at the time, when everyone wants to enjoy themselves. Their sound system is in definite need of an upgrade/remodel, so I would recommend using a DJ. If we were told the sound would be shaky, we definitely would have gone with a DJ.
Our guests loved the venue, the lights on the trees at night are beautiful and they had so much fun taking pictures all over the grounds.
My husband and I fell in love with The Wright House almost as soon as we first saw it. The garden is absolutely gorgeous. It’s quaint and quiet and exactly what we wanted for our outdoor wedding. We got married on the Garden Side. There are two sides, Provencal and Garden, and I imagine there was another wedding going on on the Provencal side the same night as ours, but we didn’t hear them at all. The Wright House has you come in a few months before the wedding to go over set-up, linens, etc, and then again about two weeks before the wedding to meet your day-of manager and go over last minute details. I am not exaggerating when I say I had a 17 page document with instructions and pictures of where I wanted decorations set up, how I wanted favors laid on the table, etc, and they did not bat an eye. They accommodated every single one of my requests. When I got to the venue the day of the wedding I asked my mom to go around and help them with the set-up to make sure everything was set up the way I wanted it. But when I walked into the venue everything was already done. EVERYTHING! Exactly the way I wanted it. It was perfect. They are so accommodating and so patient and so great to work with. The day went very smoothly, thanks to our wedding manager, Lori. The servers, Service to the Last Crum, who work with the Wright House are fantastic as well. They did a great job setting up, and serving the guests. They were all super friendly as well and made me feel so special. My guests absolutely loved the venue and we had several comments about how gorgeous it was. The photos came out amazing. It’s not the cheapest venue out there, but it’s absolutely beautiful and they put so much effort and work into your wedding that we found it worth the price.
I can write pages and pages about what a great experience I had with the Wright House staff and how wonderful they made my wedding! First of all, they worked with my budget so I could get a saturday wedding that I really wanted but couldnt afford, instead of settling for a cheaper friday date. They are very professinal and organized through the whole process. The garden grounds and victorian house were a truly magical setting for both our ceremony and reception. There were so many beautiful places to take pictures. THe day of the wedding, my personal bridal consultant they assigned to me took care of every detail so I could relax and enjoy the day. One of the most impressive acts of honesty and kindness was with their in-house florist. She makes fresh floral centerpieces for the reception, but I decided to do all the bouquets and ceremony centerpeices myself to save money. By the time we transported them all their on the hot day, many of them were wilted and dying. My fiancee also accidentally froze a few of them in his hotel refridgerator. Since he was in charge of getting the flowers there, I had no idea what a fiasco was going on. Ellen, the florist, fixes all the flowers FOR FREE!!! And everyone made sure I didnt find until after the wedding so I wouldn't stress out. The flowers, bouquets, everything looked amazing!!
I checked out dozens of wedding venues in arizona and this one is by far the best value for such a stunning location. I instantly fell in love with the place and knew that was where we would get married ....and they made it affordable!
We got married February 5, 2011, and The Wright House Provencal was the most perfect place for our picture perfect wedding! Our wedding was French themed, and the Provencal at The Wright House could not have been more perfect. It is a very warm, large place with the charm of France. The separate buildings for the cake/dancing, food, and entry, along with the gazebo area and courtyard feel like a villa in the French countryside. We had 175 at the wedding ceremony and there was plenty of room for all. We could not have been more pleased with our choice of The Wright House!
The Wright House is an amazingly beautiful place to celebrate a wedding . My guest thought the venue was breathtaking. My experience there was magical and I have no regrets what so ever . I would recommend it without a doubt to anyone . If I could do this all over again I would not change a thing . Everything was perfect, we were completely satisfied . The staff was great and very helpful .
I originally had selected The Wright House, however their prices are a bit higher with limited options compared to other venues in the area. The wedding cake, photographer, food, and linens were all options that had to be added to the price of just the use of the venue. Despite the higher cost, the grounds are beautiful and the employees were very helpful and kind.
My husband and I could not have chosen a better venue for our October wedding reception. We purchased a package with food, alcohol, flowers, cake, DJ, and invtitations. Having the package made all the planning much less stressful, which I was very grateful for.
My wedding day was in June. In arizona we were so blessed the high was 85 for the day! When I got there the venue was messy from the night before. The fountain was over flowing which is a total safety hazard. Then when my guests were coming in the planner from the wright house was no where to be found so my mother in law was running around greeting everyone. Then when the planner returned she had told me the wedding the night before used the same music we were using to walk down the isle and the cd was scratched but she had re-made the cd. Well she started the music it was the wrong songs.... the wrong songs for the bridal party and for me. Then the exit music didnt even come on till we had all walked in side to sign the paperwork. Then the food was cold and the salad was missing the straw berries. they for got to order my black napkins. the amp was broken and they didnt comp the DJ i had to pay half. The DJ was ok but I thought he would have every song and he did not... The floor in the dancing room was very dirty. The flowers were dying granted it is summer but there are summer flowers that live in arizona. In all i was not please... I hope that for other brides it goes smoother and they get all the attention they need and that there guests need so the parents of the bride and groom arent running around doing other peoples jobs.
Gorgeous setting in the French Provencal side of the facility...fountains, lush plants, stunning lighting and great indoor dancing area. People in charge of planning were very helpful!;Found out on the day of the event that they didn't allow hard alcohol. It is in the contract, but never really brought up...so unfortunately they made a bit of a scene during the cocktail hour.
A major reason why I love the Wright House was because it included all of the vendors that I needed. They have reliable and talented vendors who also did everything above and beyond to make our day a beautiful memory. It was set in a beautiful green flower garden that is rare in the state of Arizona. The people who work there are extremely kind and they did everything possible to make our day absolutely perfect. They left me completely stress free before, during and after my wedding day.
First of all the location was different than any other I had seen. It was beautiful to begin with during the daytime but it was breathtaking at night. Between all of the flowers and the candlelight the photos were perfect! We chose the Provincal location. It has more of a Tuscan look. There is a cute fountain in the very center of it. With our raised platform we were able to see all of our guests. With our number of 100 guests everyone was able to get a good seat!
As I am a vintage lover I absolutely fell in love with the victorianesque feel. I loved all of the rgreenery & the fact that it felt as if I were being married in a backyard as opposed to a 'wedding spot'.;If not going for the whole thing being done by them then try your darndest to be organized...also make sure you put someone in charge that looks at your wedding book full of all the details....that is if you have one:)
They made my wedding day run very smoothly. I didn't have to worry about anything. They even served my husband and I our dinner. It was fantastic.;They only allow specific types of alcohol. You may want to ask.
