Mark was a great DJ. He played the songs we asked for and those that were requested by our guests. He was very affordable which was great because we were on a tight budget. If you're looking for a simple DJ who is affordable, plays what you want, and doesn't have all the big fanfare, Mark is your guy.

Mark was amazing. Such attention to detail, played all our favorite songs and got the crowd going strong! He’s an amazing MC as well. During the time before the wedding he was so incredibly attentive to making sure we had everything we wanted. Thank you Mark! You’re amazing.

Mark was amazing. He was very thorough and made our wedding even better. All our guests loved his personality and were impressed with his set up. I’m so happy we chose him as our DJ! If we ever need a DJ again, he’s definitely our guy.

Hiring Mark was an easy decision- from his first e-mail, it was clear that he was offering exactly what we were looking for. We didn't want all the extras that many other DJs try to sell you on and we didn't want a DJ that would remix the songs to a point you wouldn't recognize them anymore. Mark is very friendly and we had great communication leading up to our wedding day. He's known for playing requests at the wedding, which our guests loved! To sum up our experience in one word - AWESOME. Mark is a true professional. Fast communication, friendly, on time, great personality and he will work around any obstacle or problem that may arise. We had a truly great experience with Mark. We went into our DJ search not wanting our wedding to feel like a club but to still be lively and have people dancing; mission accomplished! We had great communication from the getgo and Mark's attention to detail was consistent up until the very last second. We have an eclectic taste in music and Mark took our extensive playlist in stride along with the changes in setup we were thrown by our venue. You can't go wrong with this choice.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience. Mark played all that songs that he could on our playlist (no matter how obscure they were) and even played a few guests songs! I was a bit worried about the music we requested since a good amount of it isn't wedding or typical dancing music, but Mark played everything/mixed things in perfect/ and got people involved. When we started looking for a DJ for our wedding we had a horrible experience to start, so when I reached out to Mark I let him know I was hesitant about finding a DJ and wanted to know some information. Mark responded promptly and asked to have a phone call with me and my significant other. Mark spent over an hour on the phone with us explaining everything and making us feel very comfortable. We hired him over a year before the wedding, and every time I reached out with a question or concern he responded promptly and eased my worries. Come wedding day, Mark was perfect. He did everything we asked and then some, he is kind, caring, and extremely well priced. If you need a DJ, Mark is your guy!!!!

I can not say enough about how great Mark was. I was a "Covid bride", so there were so many uncertainties and rescheduling issues because of our state restrictions and Mark was so understanding, kept in touch and helped ease my stress. I had a very specific set of songs I wanted, but was also so lost. He took the time to guide me and provided so many lists of music to choose from. From every genre to every decade. When the day came and my wedding venue significantly dropped the ball, Mark kept everything going smoothly and no one was the wiser to this mishaps. I'm glad I dropped my stubbornness when the day came and let him take the reins playing some extra songs because he got every one moving on the dance floor and laughing. I think, when planning the music, you get so wrapped up in the in making everything perfect you forget the fun... he brought the fun back instead of me overthinking it to death. His knowledge of music from all eras and genres is limitless. Aside form all of the that, he was so nice and sweet. All of my guests adored him! My wedding, due to lack of family, was a little untraditional, and he went the extra mile to accommodate all the little things he knew were so important to us. It was an absoute pleasure to work with him. I highly recommend him! You will not be disappointed. And...take his advice...he knows how to get everyone up out of their seats!

DJ Mark was excellent! He has a great sense of humor and knows how to cater to the crowd. At our wedding, half our songs were our picks, the other half were requests. He played all our picks, and catered well to our guests requests (we had roughly 100 guests). We also had music for our outdoor cocktail hour, and he played all the David Benoit songs we requested. Mark did a great job at DJing our June 2019 wedding. He was really great at speaking with us to learn what kind of music we were interested in and balancing the songs we said we wanted to hear with requests from our guests. He was very responsive, patient, and kind. Most importantly, he played music that we loved and that got our guests on the dance floor.

Mark was even better than I could have asked for. He added an extra Touch of class, elegance and sophistication to my wedding. The playlist was marvelous as well as everyone loved the request cards. He gave us a lot of input and helped us fill the gaps with the songs we couldn't figure out.  Mark gave us a lot of personalized attention even before the wedding day to make sure everything was just how we wanted it. Everyone who requested a song from my oldest family member to our youngest ring bearer got everything they wished for. He was kind friendly and enthusiastic, always willing to help and find a song even if it wasn't one he knew and had. He gave Insight on current wedding trends in music from his wedding experiences. He gave us the most attention our if any of the vendors I hired. We were able to customize our wedding completely how we wanted it and it couldn't have gone any better and that's all thanks to him. My wedding started very chaotically as things were missing from the hall and things were right. Mark had my guests very entertained while we fixed all these little details before the wedding started. During the course of the wedding he gave background information on classic songs, the artist, and other little tidbits that we loved am I guess we're really wowed about. What I love most is he didn't force anybody to get out of their seats grabbing them up and making them dance  but the music he played by playing their request made so many people want to dance dance that night. He really made my wedding memorable. Whenever we need a DJ he is now our go-to person and we would highly recommend him to any event you need.

We had our wedding Saturday, May 18th. As every bride, we always think about who we hire as our photographer, dJ, vendors and the thoughts keep going through our heads until the final end of the wedding. I have been to a few weddings where the DJ is too loud and makes you second guess choices. My husband and I could not have been any more happier, with who we chose. Mark did such a wonderful and fantastic job that he truly made our wedding. Our guest had such a wonderful time and they absolutely loved him. Everything we asked of him, he did and he honestly made our wedding very magical. I had a mixture of older, and young children at my wedding. He was able to capture everyone’s musical taste. I am so happy with Mark and I can not say enough that can do him justice for how he treated our wedding!!! We absolutely love him and I would highly recommend him for anyone’s wedding!!!

Our wedding was just last week and we had so much fun! It was a pleasure to work with Mark. His passion for music and attention to detail is exceptional. We only wished the night was longer that we could hear more music! My husband was glad that we were able to create our own playlist and still have someone to manage the night's activities and take our guest's requests. Several of our guests noted that Mark has dj talents beyond some kid with a laptop, something they really appreciated.

For couples looking for a more old school DJ, or for one that will play your exact playlist, DJ Mark is an amazing value and option. He doesn't have all the frills (lighting, props, tackiness); he uses actual CDs and has a vast knowledge of music, new and old. Prepare to spend a lot of time working with him to plan for your day, but it will pay off. He meticulously works through every detail of your reception, and also sends lists of hundreds of classic songs/billboard hits for inspiration should you want a say in your music selection. We curated a long playlist for him ourselves (including "must plays") and then he DJed using just our picks-- it made our wedding completely personal and eliminated any pressure of having things that we weren't interested in (sombreros, party-pumping banter, etc.). There was not a single lull on our dance floor. If you're looking for a more "clubby" DJ, look elsewhere; for classic fun and a straightforward good time for music lovers, DJ Mark is your best bet.

Mark did an excellent job at our wedding this past August 2017! He worked hard throughout the night to play almost all of our songs that we requested. Our song list was like 18 hours long, but he did an awesome job playing majority of the music. It was great to meet with him a couple of times to go over all the details. When planning Mark also gave us great tips and suggestions. He is easy going with a great sense of humor and is extremely knowledgeable about music from different time periods, genres, artists, and songs. He even played some Polish, Spanish and Portuguese music that we requested and presented to him. So if anyone is Polish and wants some Polish music to be played, Mark is the dj to choose. All our guests had a great time on the dance floor! He is very affordable and we are very happy that we choose him. He deejayed at my parents wedding as well and did a great job playing their wedding song during our reception. It was a honor to have him deejay at our wedding!

Mark was AMAZING! From our very first phone call, to our first meeting, all the way to the last song played at the wedding! He offered me so much help during the planning phase of the wedding, which I was so thankful for. I had a list of certain songs I wanted played and even some he had never heard of! But he was able to get those songs with no problem!! Aside from my short list of songs, the entire night he played my guests requests! The entire night my guests (and myself) were dancing, even through dinner! The night was magical and without our amazing DJ it would not have been that way. We enjoyed having Mark as the DJ at our daughter's wedding. Our guests were pleased that he could play songs that they requested, even uncommon songs for weddings! His voice was pleasing to listen to as well as his personality. We really appreciated the way he kept to the music and style of the reception that we requested. We couldn't have been happier with our choice in Mark and the price was awesome!

Mark did an outstanding job at my daughter's wedding. Her and her husband's music selections were not your normal wedding style music (the EELS, Weezer, Cake,...) but Mark did an awesome job finding appropriate songs from these groups and from guest requests to keep everyone happy. He arrived 2 hours early and started playing music while we and the food vendors were setting up which made our work much more pleasant. He was spot on with the ceremony music. He was a real pleasure to work with both in the planning and execution.

Mark was great! He played every song that we had requested. It was pouring down rain at our outdoor wedding. He was soaked through, but that did not slow him down. The dance floor was full from the start to finish. We were supposed to end at 10:30 pm and he just kept playing until 11:30 pm because no one wanted to leave. We were having so much fun. He added special notes to songs when they were special to people. He played multiple guests wedding songs and had a special shout out to my 94 year old grandma and her song. He spent hours prior to the wedding finding the weird special request songs. Mark went above and beyond. You can tell he really loves what he does. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

I sincerely wish we had gone with someone else! Not even days after our wedding our guests contacted us with comments like “It was a beautiful day, but where did you get that DJ?! He was awful!” I was disappointed to hear that Mark’s interactions with my family and friends were described as rude and rushed. This is not the type of behavior we expected or were promised. We’re a pretty laid back couple who don’t mind eccentric personalities, so when we met Mark we were charmed by his nervous quirks and seemingly deep knowledge of music history. We communicated really well via e-mail all the way up to the big day. He was responsive and appeared to understand exactly what we needed. On the day of the wedding it all went downhill. There were three false starts to the ceremony caused by Mark trying to rush my bridal party into the chapel before they were ready. He went so far as to start the music, then storm into the staging area tersely saying "Enter please!" As a result, there was confusion and certain members of the processional, including my Mother and Grandmother, were left standing outside. Fortunately the Wedding Coordinator was able to calm him down and the rest of the ceremony flowed as planned. During the reception Mark consistently complained on the mic that my Husband and I had given him 120 -140 songs to play. Considering this is what he signed on for that seemed inappropriate. Also, only a small portion of the songs we gave him were actually played and only toward the end of the night when most of our guests had already left. Instead of playing songs from a carefully selected list full of Motown and early 90s Hip Hop/Pop, Mark went rogue and played his own mix of Country Pop including a 1970s diddy by Crystal Gayle. Definitely NOT what we agreed upon. To top it all off Mark decided it would be a great idea to announce the death of Prince in the middle of the reception and reminisce about his career for a few moments. Completely inappropriate and uncomfortable! I recognize that he was a powerhouse of a musician, but that was not the time or the place. I understand that you can't please everyone, but our requests were very clear - play our songs. We are not angry, but we are terribly disappointed that our once in a lifetime event was marred by Mark’s unprofessional behavior and dismissal of our agreed upon needs. When I questioned him about his unprofessional and unacceptable behavior he tried to distract me by saying that the whole day was beautiful and I should focus on the good parts. Please save yourself the heartache and avoid this DJ! It’s worth the extra money for peace of mind.

A very affordable DJ, but we were expecting a little more from his services given this was the biggest day of our lives. We had a number of problems though things did seem to start off well. We had great communication between each other through email and phone. We made a playlist of some of our favorite songs to play during dinner and during the dance and we laid out everything we wanted to help make his job easier, but in the end he fell short. We requested he come to the rehearsal so he could get set up and see the order of events. He told us that he had worked at the venue before which was part of the reason we got him but upon arrival he gave us the impression that he did not know this place and had a lot of questions. Overall after meeting him, he seemed a little lost and fidgety and the idea of having to supervise the DJ along with everything else going on was not ideal. The rehearsal ended up fine and we hoped the uneasiness we felt would be put to rest the next day……we were wrong. My groomsman and I stood at the pre-staging area, ready to take our walks down the aisle to our positions, butterflies at this moment of time were definitely there, this was of course a day I have long waited for. At this time a frantic Mark is freaking out stating “where are the bridesmaids!?” If memory had served him from the previous rehearsal day, they were at a different staging location as they are with the bride and I was not to see the bride until she walked down the aisle. He accepted that fact and moved on but left me thinking “is this day going to get screwed up by the DJ?” The ceremony went great contrary to my fears. Next was the bridal party introduction, we chose a cute song (Pop Goes My Heart from the movie Music & Lyrics) to walk out to. Sadly, it was evident he did not listen to the song to get the timing because he spent so much time introducing the party (4 pairs) that the music completely ran out by the time my bride and I came out. Not exactly how we pictured it. The actual dance was also not how we pictured it. We agreed we wanted a minimally involved DJ and he agreed to this, yet every song was introduced at the beginning and at the end of songs during the transition, we found this very distracting. Also, Prince had just died and our playlist which we made was seemingly thrown out to turn our wedding into some Prince tribute. We lost a music icon but didn’t need that much Prince on our wedding day. Our playlist also gave way to requests from the public, we of course expected this but just thought more of the music we wanted to be played would get played, we did pay for his services after all. In the end, the night was capped off with an awkward encounter. My bride and I took our quiet walk to out vehicle as it was announced we were leaving, he ran us down to congratulate us but to primarily inform us we had an partial outstanding balance due to his trip for the rehearsal. We apologized for the oversight and said we would take care of it as soon as we got the chance, he pushed and asked if we had any money on us in that moment (of course we didn’t) and we assured him that it would get taken care of. Later we learned he tracked down my bride’s father and requested the same payment. We wrote him a check and put it in the mail the next day after the wedding, but that was not the type of professionalism we were expecting. Everyone says there is always one thing bound to go wrong at a wedding, for us it was the DJ.

Mark dj'd our wedding April 2016. He did an excellent job!! Every single person at the wedding was out on the dance floor at least for one song!! So many of our guests were out on the dance floor the entire night. We received so many compliments for his fantastic music the entire night. I had provided Mark with a list of must play and he was able to play a large amount of the music I had requested for the night. I would strongly recommend him for your next party! Our wedding has just passed and we have had nothing but compliments in regards to Mark! He was fantastic, he had my entire family up and dancing and having an amazing time. All of our guests were allowed to request songs and he played almost every song both my husband and I wanted to hear, and our guests. He is extremely friendly and will work with you day and night. I even made some changes last min and he didn't complain or fuss, he went right along with it. Mark was awesome to work with! He got all my favorite songs into the reception and played many of the guests requests as well. We also had a special list of songs for cocktail hour and not only did he get those for us, he made us a CD of the collection so we could have it forever! He went way above and beyond to make our night special and he was very reasonably priced. Two thumbs way way up!

Mark is fantastic! He played the majority of the songs that I asked him as well as the songs that people requested at our wedding. I unfortunately didn't get to dance most of the time, but our guests were over the moon with him, so I'm happy with that! He even stayed after the wedding to schmooze with my parents and in-laws, who also liked him. Super nice guy couldn't ask for a better wedding DJ. He ran the wedding like a disk jockey runs a radio show by announcing each song he played, great for guests who want to know what songs they like. Mark was an excellent DJ! He did an amazing job at playing all of the songs we wanted plus incorporating everything the guests wanted. He would even give a shout-out to the person who had requested the song. Oh man. Our friends still can't stop talking about our wedding reception even three months afterward! And it really was special thanks to Mark. Throughout the night, he was extremely professional and easy to work with. Knowledgeable and easygoing, he's the best DJ I've ever seen simply because he loves music. I had selected a list of songs that have a very personal history with my friends and me. Very eclectic and obscure stuff... Mark was able to track all of it down and somehow weave it into the setlist so it didn't scare away my new relatives. There was no dead air during the night, and everyone had a shot at the dance floor thanks to the varied mix of songs and the overall presentation. I can't express enough how impressed I was with his man. He. Knows. Music.

We had a wonderful experience using Mark as our DJ. We reserved him only a couple of months before our farm wedding and he was extremely helpful and responsive right off the bat. We had a long list of "must play" songs and he played all of them plus guests' requested songs. His choices on timing were awesome. He played for over six hours and it was basically the greatest dance party ever under our reception tent. One of my biggest laments at other weddings is that the DJ doesn't play for long enough--and this was definitely not the case at our wedding. On top of that, he was an amazing deal for the money. When I told a few people after the wedding what we paid, they couldn't believe it. Mark is also really zany and a lot of people commented to me that the DJ was one of their favorite parts of our wedding. He is a bit unconventional (he introduced a lot of the songs on the mic and played some songs off of tapes!) that was one of my favorite parts about him (and guests' favorites as well).

Mark was an AWESOME DJ. He worked well with us and his communication was great, always checking to make sure he had everything perfect. He played all of the songs we requested, plus a lot of great guest requests while keeping to the music we liked, which kept our guests dancing all night! Several remarked that it was the best music they had ever heard at a wedding. In addition, his pleasant demeanor and fun personality really shone through. A friend remarked he had the soothing voice of a classic radio DJ. While playing The Who, he did Pete Townshend air-guitar windmills! To top it off he is extremely budget-friendly. Mark was so helpful throughout everything! He played everything we wanted and most importantly what our guests requested. All of my friends and family danced to the songs they wanted to hear.
