We mainly worked with Corey for all of the planning, but everything turned out so great! Because where we chose to have dinner at our venue was tight, I was nervous with how they were going yo set everything up since it was raining all morning, but everything turned out great! We were able to go to one of their fall tastings and new this was the one!! The food was excellent then and the day of! We heard compliments all night! They were so amazing to work with for all of our inquiries and later changes with family allergies. Such a great company!

I would recommend This Little Piggy for catering any large event! We chose buffet style and the food was delicious and all of it was hot. Definitely exceeded my expectations for wedding food! Bartenders were fantastic as well. The whole A'Britin team was very easy to work with and had great communication through the whole planning process and the day of.

Great food and great service the day of! Only complaint was months beforehand when we were trying to schedule a tasting, we were told in April that we missed all tastings until November 2023 (our wedding was in September). In order to try the food we had to drive to Farmington to pick up an order. While I was there I asked if there were any tastings available before September and they said there were several. We wish this would’ve been communicated to us beforehand and not sure why we were told there weren’t any. But again, great service the day of and everyone loved the food!

The catering coordinator was incredibly difficult to work with and would not offer us a tasting of the food we asked for. When we did go to a tasting they did not offer our food and said there were no other opportunities to taste it. They also messed up the quote multiple time and would not work with us in any shape or form. One we got our day of coordinator 2 weeks out from our wedding the service was fantastic but the 2 years leading up to our event was so painful we almost canceled our venue just because of This Little Piggy. Also their pricing calculator on their website is completely wrong and misleading.

The food was the best meal that I’ve ever had at a wedding, many others said the same. The service the day of and the process to get to my wedding day was subpar. Getting to sign a contract was the most difficult part of the whole wedding planning process. It was challenging that most of the process to get a contract involved phone calls and staff were only available 9-5. I can easily send emails during 9-5 hours but phone calls are much harder. I know that people can’t work at all hours of the day, but having even 1 day a week when staff was available even until 6 would have been extremely helpful. I loved my venue so much that I was so upset to see how many extra fees were being tacked onto my catering contract. A family friend who has been in the hospitality industry for decades was in awe of the rates and how sneaky the fees were. I don’t understand why This Little Piggy is in the “affordable” range on The Knot, it was quite a bit more than comparable vendors in the Twin Cities. I would have loved to have attended a tasting! When I signed my contract, it seemed like scheduling one would be easy. Weeks and weeks went by without being able to schedule one. By the time there was one available, it was 4 months out from my wedding and I was on a work trip. Thank goodness my parents were able to accompany my fiancé to the tasting! I’m The service on my wedding day was lacking. My mom had to go find the staff to ask them to start bussing tables since my guests had been finished for a while but no one had starting bussing tables.

Such delicious food! The were very efficient with set up and tear down, left me with no worries and overall helped make my day great! I had no concerns and just got to enjoy some great food!

This Little Piggy Catering was fantastic all around. Working with them leading up to our big day was great, communication was on point, tasting events were set up wonderfully. Day of our wedding the service was no different! Our guests are still raving about our food. 10/10 highly recommend!

I would not have chosen A'Britin/This Little Piggy if the venue did not make us use them. There was a ton of miss communication early on between who does what when it comes to the day of wedding/bussing tables/tear down/etc. We signed the contact with them in December because “the prices would increase” in the new year and they just seemed very pushy to get a sale. Two months before the wedding I found out that my contact for This Little Piggy was no longer with the company BY MY WEDDING VENUE. I had to email This Little Piggy to confirm this was the case and to ask who my new contact was. That was very unprofessional. I also had to email them and remind them of the payments that I needed to make and I had to ask for payment links. Having said that, they showed up on time and had everything set up to serve at the agreed upon time. The food was hot and delicious, and serving staff was kind and helpful.

The people who work were pretty nice and helpful. No complaints at all. Very professional and helpful. A lot of compliments on the food! I always asked for the link to pay, and some of the requests we put in, like no croissants in the salad for dietary reasons, or culinary at the table, but small enough it was okay for us.

A Briton catering was so wonderful! Prior to our wedding they were very responsive and quick to answer all our questions. Jessie was our contact person and was wonderful as well. On the wedding day the food was hot and delicious, and serving staff was kind and helpful as well!

Wonderful food and service! Definitely a bit pricey but know a little goes a long way. Don’t feel obligated to get lots of dishes. I highly recommend getting the whole pig, fancy green beans, potatoes, and Cesar salad. We loved the banana dessert but couldn’t justify spending an extra $11 per person! However, the chef decided to make our day special and make us (bride & groom) THE BANANA DESSERT! Little piggy catering goes above & beyond all expectations. Lastly, if you have leftover cash I’d recommend the lavender lemonade drink.

Excellent group to work with. All staff were helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, everything went off as planned which I attribute to really excellent pre-planning ahead of time. Food was delicious and salads were very fresh. Can recommend Little Piggy without any hesitation.

Our food was good, we had tacos. The staff we had on the day of worked their tails off!! The main reason for three stars is that we only had two staff on site to set up, take down, and do all of the catering! The two staff we had were BUSTING THEIR TAILS AND AMAZING! But for a wedding with 200 people it didn’t make any sense that only two workers would have been sent. Because there were only two people our food was running behind but truly I was fine with that because there were only two people!! I wish they would have told me how many people were going to be working, I felt horrible for those staff. I also felt like for a “more affordable option” we we’re definitely paying wayyy more than I thought was necessary. Overall, the food was good, everyone was happy but for the double digit price for a taco bar and two workers to be staffed day of-that left my husband and I heavily disappointed.

Best BBQ and best service. 300 person event last weekend and my guests are still reaching out a week later with positive comments on the food quality and service. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Little Piggy was wonderful to work with, we were blessed to work with Cory for most of our wedding planning. They made the stress and hassle of wedding planning smoother, were helpful in looking at all the pricing and food options, and were very prompt to respond and check in throughout the process. The food is also delicious to top it all off, my husband and I and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and service.

They were very accommodating to our needs. Since being married for 3 weeks, we have continued to hear how everyone enjoyed our food saying it was the best wedding meal they've had! During dinner, the staff would come to the head table to ask how the food was and if we needed anything else. We would highly recommend this company for any large events.

They were amazing! The food was great, the answered all of my questions and the staff working the event were the friendliest people EVER! I really appreciated them all and the hard work they did!

Fantastic couple and terrific food! This Little Piggy Catering did our wedding and far exceeded expectations. The venue owner did not allow them to stage in the kitchen so they got their food truck. The venue owner then refused to open the gate to get the truck on property forcing them to carry all the food, plates, serving utensils, EVERYTHING through the front door and past the dance floor and bar. It was about a 150 person wedding. I did not even notice this happening they did so well. Thank you so, so much, This Little Piggy Catering, for turning a potential wedding day disaster into a triumph! And the food was some of the best we ever had!!!

This Little Piggy Catering was amazing for our wedding! Your wedding day can be stressful and you really don’t want to have to worry about your vendors. They came in and followed our special requests we had and provided great service and food! All our guests loved the taco bar we had! Highly, highly recommend !!

They had such wonderful food!! We were so impressed first off with the carving of a pig we saw at their taste testing (we just did pulled pork), and second the taste was so divine. I didn't have a single person at my wedding say anything bad about the food!

This Little Piggy was excellent for our wedding. We had the whole pig roast. I am lactose intolerant and they were very accommodating to my intolerance for the sides to pick from. They showed up early and had everything set up to serve on time. My guests still comment on how good the food was. In preparation of getting every thing arranged if I had any questions they were quick with a response. I highly recommend.

The service was amazing, food delicious and communication great. There were a few servers that came to my husband and I’s table and offered to get us more food so we didn’t have to get up, this was so nice being we were so busy all day. The food, soooo good!! Highly recommend, they are a bit spendy but really good service and food.

We used them for our 200 person wedding. There was a lot of compliments on how good the food was. Staff were friendly and answered guests questions. Set up and clean up went quickly. They are very affordable but just beware, you aren’t getting extras (tablecloths, real silverware and plates, etc). Would recommend if you are looking for good food and okay with not having all the extra fancy items!

This caterer was phenomenal. They showed up early, the staff was incredibly kind, and the communication was great. The food was INCREDIBLE and our guests loved it. I'm so glad we picked this group to work with, I would recommend them to anyone.

This Little Piggy did a fabulous job serving our wedding! The food was amazing. Guests loved the pulled pork, potatoes, salad, fruit, and corn bread. Guests served themselves so they were able to get as much or as little as they wanted. We were very pleased with them! :)

The food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and the service was incredible. They made everything easy and stressful both leading up to the wedding and the day of. The cost was also very good - we had a small wedding of about 40 people and found this to also be one of the most affordable places. It’s been a few months now and our friends still talk about how good the food was!

This Little Piggy catered our wedding and the food was absolutely amazing! We had pulled pork, cilantro lime chicken, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, a salad, and then a pretzel bar for late night bites! My mouth is watering just thinking about the delicious food! We received and are still receiving so many compliments on everything. I was a bit hesitant to do buffet style serving but honestly, it went very smooth and was extremely quick for everyone to get food! 1000000% recommend using them for catering needs!

The pork was absolutely amazing. The reason for the 3 stars is the staff. They could've easily gone to someone OTHER than me, the bride for the issues that came up. Everyone absolutely loved the food and said it was the best wedding food they've had. Which is amazing to hear but the bar staff continued coming to me for every little thing that went on. When I had a coordinator who they should've gone to and my mom was the point person. They went up to me RIGHT before going to take golden hour photos like come on! The lack of respect to the couple getting married is why this company received the stars that I gave. I was not happy with them continuing to come to me because of stupid things going on. Not the brides problem that day! Its the couples day! Like come on! Also absolutely nothing in the contract about not being able to set up a tab for drinks, which in return was upsetting for guests because they had to pay every single time they wanted something. I was informed that there was apparently half a keg left when they shut the free beer down that I paid for, for cocktail hour. Rather than keeping it open til empty. The bar staff brought warm pop, warm wine, warm everything with no way of getting it cooled by the wedding. Just very unprofessional in my opinion. Only good this is the food.

The overall experience was okay, they did what a caterer is supposed to do. The booking experience was difficult and we felt very rushed and confused. The food was okay, it could have been our personal selcetions. However, we did not come away saying the food was amazing! The pricing was a bit expensive for what we received. The servers were very unfriendly and guests came away feeling uncomfortable and confused. As stated, they did what we asked them to do but just wished it would have turned out better for us and our guests. One bonus was the signature drink I picked from the bar service was amazing but in the end, it was costly.

Great food, very delicious turkey and mashed potatoes. Asparagus was phenomenal. However, staff was very pushy with signing quotes and contracts early despite not having a known guest count or having had tasted the food. Overall price was very expensive relative to other local choices. We also ran out of potatoes, even though we quoted for 40 more people than who attended. Very friendly servers at the event though and efficient set-up/take-down. They even carried the brides plate of food to the table for her!

James, the Vice President of Operations & Corporate Sales doesn’t even follow the contract that customers sign. He interprets it in his own way and becomes an immovable force threatening clients who are having an issue or needing to cancel for whatever reason and making it as difficult as possible to get anything resolved. He will do everything he can to steal your money. We were supposed to have an event with them in November of 2022 after having to reschedule due to COVID. After many issues with family members continuing to be concerned about COVID we decided to fully cancel our big wedding and just elope instead. We reached out to A’britin well over the 90 days that they require to let them know of this unfortunate circumstance. We asked them to refund us money that was not stated in our contract as non refundable. We did not ask for The Retainer back (which is stated as non refundable a couple times in the contract) we asked for the Additional Retainer (which is not stated as non refundable) back. We had been told by the consultant we were working with when we were originally thinking of cancelling that we would be getting the Additional Retainer back if we canceled before the 90 day point. James immediately became incredibly hostile, he did not seem to understand what we were asking for, even though we attempted to tell him numerous times. He insisted that we were simply not agreeing even though the statement in their contract is incredibly clear. He threatened us with lawyers numerous times stating that they would not be refunding us anything even though the contract he kept sending pieces of was very clear that the Additional Retainer we were asking for was not stated as non refundable. Since they believe they have resolved this issue, we are free to post this review. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT work with them. They seem friendly and helpful until you have an issue and then you are put in touch with James, who’s email signature is honestly laughable. His signature states: “We listen to our clients and treat them like family to provide a meaningful, trusting and lasting relationship.” If this company believes in that statement then the way James is conducting business on their behalf is not representative of their core values. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE, in fact I will be contacting all the vendors who have this company listed on their preferred vendors list and letting them know of this incident and advising them and anyone planning their wedding to steer clear of A’britin Catering and their affiliates.

We had a wonderful experience using this vendor. As we were establishing our menu and working out details, our coordinator (Jessie) was great! We made quite a few adjustments along the way and she made the process extremely easy and always provided us the information we needed. Also on the day of the food was absolutely amazing and we got so many compliments and the wait staff did a fabulous job. I would highly recommend using them!

This Little Piggy Catering was one of the preapproved vendors we could select through our venue. Both the food and service were good. The unfortunate thing was that although we paid for our headcount and the food provided, we were not able to take any leftovers. Other than that, we enjoyed our wedding meal and they are easy to work with if you need any add-ons, like kids meals.

This Little Piggy had a wide range of GF & vegan options alongside their main courses. Everyone loved the baked beans, cheesy potatoes, and pulled pork sandwiches. They did an excellent job getting everyone through the buffet line and were a perfect caterer for a barn wedding.

A’BriTin was one of the preferred vendors of The Jerome Center. We went with This Little Piggy and the food was delicious! We had chicken, green beans, scalloped potatoes, salad, and dinner rolls. We started communicating with them pretty early on and they did a great job emailing and calling us with updates and suggestions. Since we also were having a winter wedding we had a hot chocolate and coffee bar. This was a hit with our guests! I also wanted to note how great the staff were on our day of. One of the chefs (chef Hannah) came outside to our bus when our party arrived and started communicating and helping us immediately! We just met her in that moment and she was one of the most helpful people on our day! So I would highly recommend A’BriTin because not only was the food delicious, but the staff was SO helpful!

We really enjoyed having This Little Piggy as our food vendor, and wouldn't have wanted to go with anyone else! They had plenty of food to get second helpings, they were very clean and organized, and very helpful. They even brought my plate right to the head table! The Mac n' Cheese is SO GOOD you have to get it! The food was one of the top compliments of our wedding day!

This caterer was one of few options given to us by our venue. Easy to work with and decently responsive. We were able to taste the majority of our food at a tasting before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, food was amazing!! Mac and cheese is a must!! We did dessert (apple crisp) through them that was good too. There were a few issues that I had with the overall service: Nobody was made aware that the vegetarian dish had to be requested separate from the buffet, so all of my vegetarians guests (there were many) had to fill up on side dishes. Only the head table and a few of the guest tables received knives - we serviced bone-in BBQ chicken, so many people had to eat with their fingers in their fancy clothes :( Lastly, we opted to have cake cutting utensils provided to us (groom and I) for our cake cutting which were never provided. So we get up to do the cake cutting and my photographer had to scramble to find some plastic forks for us to at least eat our cake with. We never actually "cut" the cake but only ate directly off of it (thankfully we didn't serve this cake to guest). These things weren't deal breakers, but basic items that should not have been forgotten by staff and provided a negative experience for some guests. Overall decent service and amazing food!

The servers were friendly and everything was managed without us having any day-of stress regarding set-up and serving of food.

This Little Piggy was great to work with and so fun! They were so responsive and helpful in picking the best dishes for our venue and guests. We did a full pig roast and guests really enjoyed that experience. We also received a ton of compliments on how delicious the food was! The mac and cheese was hands down the guest favorite - so good!

I don't even know where to begin. I reached out to Julie with 2 Little Piggy's for my wedding catering and she responded very quickly and we hired her immediately during our initial consultation. Her relaxed personality made me, a nervous bride, feel calm. She not only became our backyard wedding caterer and bar, but she took care of all of our rentals including tents, tables, chairs, linens, table settings, and some decor pieces. We knew we had to have BBQ at our wedding but wanted something a little more upscale than a typical BBQ. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and for the quality and taste of the food, I couldn't be happier with the amount I spent. Every single penny was worth it, no regrets. We had an appetizer station, 3 hand passed Hors D'oevres, her pig out package for dinner, and then she provided cake cutting and a s'mores station for dessert. When I tell you the most talked about thing at my wedding was the food, I am not exaggerating. Guests wanted 2nds and 3rds! Our bar was also a great hit as well. We got to keep all left over alcohol and food which was massive amounts. Julie set up her teams prep area, which really made my whole wedding vibe complete. Their prep area was nicely done and the entire team was excited for me and so professional, I received multiple compliments from guests that her staff was wonderful. Even my neighbors who saw the event from their own homes told us how impressed they were with her whole system. My husband was home while they came in to set up and he told me within minutes our backyard was transformed into a magical dream land and he was in shock. They came in like well oiled machines and truly made my day so memorable. I had them take care of trash/cleanup and they left my backyard like it never even happened, I didn't have to lift a finger except for my own things I added. I highly recommend 2 Little Piggys BBQ and Catering and I wouldn't change a single thing about my wedding. Thank you to your team, Julie!

I lived in Texas while planning our wedding that was held in Anoka, MN. Being 978 miles apart was like hitting a moving target while blindfolded! One hit that was a definite bullseye was using This Little Piggy Catering for our wedding reception! Kate, Chef Christina, and team were beyond fabulous!! Chef Christina's steak and chicken fajita bar was unbelievably delicious...the service at the reception was flawless...and the support from Kate during the planning and implementation was spot on! What could have been a nightmare turned into a dream of the best kind! I will absolutely use them again!

A'BriTin was the catering company available at our venue and we chose This Little Piggy because they were the only one out of the 3 that offered a taco bar as a food choice. Communication was great. I originally reached out about catering after booking our venue March of 2020. I reached out again to the person I was communicating with Jan 2021 and found out she was no longer with the company. I was glad someone else was able to take over and be in communication with them instead of getting no response. All of my questions (there were a lot lol) were answered in a timely manner and I never had to reach out more than once to get a response. Once we got closer to our wedding date however, we had a final call going over everything and it was with someone completely different than I had been talking to all along. That's where I think there was a little mix up. The food part was great, except all the food that got thrown away, I didn't get much food and I wish I would have taken more time to eat, but it felt rushed a little. (**more on that below**) The main issue was with the bar service. We hosted $1,000 (beer + wine + white claws only) and the bar started at 4:30. Well only 30 min later we were at $800 already. We were like, "HOW!?" Well turns out they were serving Mich Golden bottles instead of having kegs like we agreed upon. They were also serving IPA's (which I know are more expensive) and I know for sure we didn't say we wanted those because we don't drink those. So I'm not sure why they were served. They did end up making it right by supplying 5 cases of beer that equaled a keg so I'm just glad it got taken care of. Not sure how the mix up happened, but things happen and it didn't ruin our day. Another thing we were a little upset about was that we didn't get a tasting. Well, there was a group tasting in April 2021, but we weren't even able to try the food that we were going to be serving, so what would be the point in going to that? It was a little of a bummer since we were paying a lot of money for the food so it would have been nice to at least try it ahead of time. We were assured by a lot of good reviews from the MN Brides Facebook page that the taco bar was amazing, so that made me feel better. One last thing I will note, it would have been nice to have a last call for food after the last table went up because I'm sure some people didn't know they could have seconds. Plus they threw out A LOT of food, which makes me really upset. I hate wasting food and plus all the money we paid, it just made me annoyed. One of the guests made a note about how much food was leftover that just ended up getting tossed. It would have been nice if the bride + groom could have had at least a to-go box of leftovers for at the hotel, I wish I would have asked. I don't understand why we can't keep the leftovers when we are paying for it. I didn't even know they were cleaning up and taking down the buffet area and then the next minute it was all gone. A heads up would have been a little nice at least. Overall, the food was great and there weren't any complaints from guests that we know of, just a few things that were a little annoying/out of our control. I know weddings aren't going to go 100% perfect and there will always be something that comes up and in our case it was this.

This Little Piggy was phenomenal. They arrived on time, had everything prepared, and were extremely friendly. Our guests RAVED about the food. They also were so pleased with how fast they got through the buffet line and were able to eat. This Little Piggy also has the best customer service. They were so responsive to any questions I had leading up to our wedding. I really cannot say enough about how great they are. SO happy with our experience.

This Little Piggy was one of three options we had at our venue (Belle's Event Center in Belle Plaine). We jumped at the comfort food options and ended up going with two entrees in the dinner buffet. We also had four sides and did cupcakes through them for our guest's dessert. Their prices were reasonable. Several guests had dietary restrictions, the bride included, and the company was accommodating. We got to have a tasting before we made our final choices and it was a fun night out. We only wish we would have been able to eat more of the awesome food that night and the night of our wedding! Our guests loved it too and having a buffet meant people could grab however much of whatever they wanted. Highly recommend!
