provide planning as well as floral so she did try to take care of everything for me. As someone who was just using her for florals, this was a little difficult to deal with because I wanted freedom to do things with the venue without her and that wasn't really her style. Along with that, her tendency to fill the wedding planner role made it hard for my coordinator and reception venue vendor to do their jobs without Thorne and Thistle trying to take over. Overall, I was very happy with the products Lisa produced (like loved them so much!!) but it definitely came with some drama along the way.

Day of, there was a threat of rain at our wedding. They went above and beyond by making sure the inside and outside venue locations were ready to be decorated based on the weather. ard to months later, it was time for my big sisters wedding. When considering florists, my first thoughts were Lisa. My sister immediately decided to have Lisa do her flowers after seeing some of her pictures, and talking with her for just a short period of time. Lisa did all of the flowers for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, and I don’t even have words to describe how beautiful they were. We received the most compliments on how stunning her arrangements were! From the table arrangements, to the bouquets, to the chandeliers, to the cross, swing, and aisle markers, and more, Lisa did an unbelievable job. My sister was extremely pleased with everything Lisa did, and Lisa’s style. Lisa made sure to get all of the details from Lauren in regards to what she wanted, and she gave Lauren exactly that, and then some. We also really appreciated that Lisa would give her input if she had any ideas in particular that she thought would look good. After my sisters wedding, we had many many people ask us for Lisa's contact info so that they could use her as well. I would most definitely recommend using Lisa Thorne (Thorne and Thistle) for all of your flower needs.
In addition, we learned that Lisa also offers wedding planning. When we reached out to her about flowers, we had already chosen a wedding planner, however I can confidently say I would recommend Lisa for wedding planning as well. She helped us with many different aspects of wedding planning when we couldn't get answers from our wedding planner, and often offered advice when we asked for her opinion etc. Lisa is truly a kind hearted, genuine, and extremely talented person! I would recommend her services to anyone and everyone.

pictures of what I wanted my wedding and reception to look like, but Lisa brought everything together flawlessly. I would even say that I didn't know what I wanted, but Lisa saw the picture in my head and brought it to life. Ashley, part of her team, also coordinated the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception perfectly. Despite several unexpected hiccups throughout the day, Ashley was able to handle them and make it seem as though nothing happened. By the end of the night, she was family. I wish I could attend another event with Thorne and Thistles just to witness their perfection and excellence all over again!

ppy to work with me on my obscure request for succulents in the arrangements. The overall look of my flowers was a loose and leafy greens with light pink/orange roses and the blue-gray succulents. They were held together with a soft pink ribbon wrap that was just the little touch that pulled the whole look together. The bouquets were gorgeous and held up all day! The boutonnieres were a perfect touch that matched flawlessly (and also had a great smell!). The posy bouquets she made for our mothers and grandmothers were such a sweet touch! She also made a beautiful collar for my dog to wear at the reception that matched our bouquets, which was super cute! It held up so well also, which was such a surprise with as active as my dog is! Lisa also rented me tablecloths, linen napkins, and a cakestand that matched the centerpiece vases. It was great that she could supply us with so many services in addition to the flowers!
