During our time working with The Tideline to plan our wedding, we worked with three different catering directors. The third catering director, Sandra, stepped in right away and didn't skip a beat when it came to ensuring our wedding day was perfect. As a couple who was planning a destination wedding, she made it extremely easy. She was responsive and answered all our questions. Not only that, but she planned the most beautiful food-tasting experience for us. She was attentive, introduced us to the chef and was so sweet to our niece, who had to attend the tasting with us (the chef even made French Fries for her, which was so thoughtful). The food... don't get us started. The food was OUTSTANDING. We especially loved the hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour and our guests couldn't stop saying good things about everything. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and was the beachside wedding we had always envisioned and wanted. Sandra was onsite the day of the wedding and was able to accommodate a change in plans after my husband fell ill. We had to change the timeline of the ceremony and reception, but it went on without a hitch. They were even able to grab chairs for us to sit in during our ceremony because my husband wasn't able to stand during it! In addition to Sandra, the rest of the Tideline team was extremely sweet and helpful. From the bartenders, servers and hotel staff. Everyone was so nice and wished us congratulations and were checking in on my husband. They even left us chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne, and a personal note in our suite after the wedding. It's little touches/gestures like this and the overall experience that makes us give The Tideline a 5/5 star review. For brides looking for a venue with picturesque views, delicious food, and helpful and profession staff, look no further than The Tideline. I wish we could do it all over again! We can't wait to visit The Tideline for our anniversary celebrations.

The Tideline Resort was an amazing venue for our wedding and reception. The staff from our event organizer Laura, to the entire hotel team and staff that helped with all the preparation that assisted with making our day magical and memorable. We cannot thank enough and look forward to spending our one year anniversary at this amazing hotel.

My husband and I were married on Sunday 10.28. The weekend was incredible and the staff did amazing. The venue was beautiful for an outdoor ceremony and upstairs reception. Everyone was attentive and friendly and made the experience unforgettable. We did a Saturday walk through and the valet team helped us with all our needs and got us settled in. The staff helped the night before and all day prior to the ceremony with anything we needed. We had about 55 people, great food, open bar. All of our guests raved about the venue and the food. Laura was a great help through the process and directed the timeline to the T! I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I would recommend this place to brides looking for a beach wedding minus messy sand!!! And gorgeous views.

I had my wedding weekend and reception in the ballroom at Tideline in July 2018, as well as a brunch after the wedding, and it could not have been more beautiful! You cannot beat the gorgeous beach property and beautiful ballroom overlooking the ocean, the pricing is a great value, and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The food was also delicious, and my guests especially loved the after-party and brunch food! The hotel does tend to have a lot of personnel turnover - my contact changed 3 or 4 times, and they changed chefs, during my 6 month planning period - but everyone was lovely to work with and I knew to expect the turnover from the other reviews, so I just communicated a lot to stay on top of things. On the day of, Erica was wonderful and I really appreciated her attention to detail. She had the tables ready a day before and noticed an issue with the linens that she got corrected without me having to do anything. While there were some small hiccups, the hotel's flexibility and the personal attention to the important things more than made up for it, and I don't think I could have had as special a wedding weekend anywhere else.

It pains me to write this, but I need to save others the drama.
The tideline is STUNNING, but the hotel operations & service is a total mess. They had some major changes in 2016/2017 that led to the demise.
Only reason I'm giving a 2 vs. 1 is because my actual wedding somehow wasn't a disaster (mostly thanks to my other vendors).
When I signed 11mths out, they were a kimpton. 3 months before the wedding, the hotel coordinator (Tricia) left and they changed management companys & brought in all new people. I was never notified. From January - April, they changed GMs, lost the chef & went through 3 other planners (who have also since left).
They are completely disorganized & are terrible at communications. I was left hunting and yelling for answers on multiple occasions.
2-3 weeks before the wedding they told me they couldn't honor one aspect of the wedding due to something they should have known about when I signed. their substitute was a joke.
They overcharged my mom for a secondary event by $500 & she had to fight for it. The front desk didn't deliver 1/2 of the welcome bags to guests.
I've heard from someone else that's getting married in the fall that even more has gone down.
This place has so much potential, but I would advise any new bride to give them another 6 months to get their act together and prove that they can deliver on their promise to be a luxury resort.
There's enough stress with planning a wedding, don't cause yourself more.

The moment my wife and I walked into the ballroom we knew that we had finally found the perfect venue! The view of the ocean was spectacular. We had our cocktail hour in the crystal room. Tricia and her team were perfect! We felt like everything was handled just the way we needed it to be. I 100% recommend this venue. A majority of my guests came early to spend time at the hotel before the wedding and they all loved the property!

I am beyond grateful to The TIdeline Resort for helping me create and live out my dream wedding! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the event space was and about the fantastic food! Everyone was wonderful to work with- specifically Tricia Shaw (Director of Catering). Tricia did so much not only the day of, but the many months leading up to the wedding. The event went off without a hitch all thanks to Tricia and the rest of her staff! Thank you, Tideline for the most wonderful wedding!

My son just got married at the Tidelines this past weekend
It truly was the most amazing wedding. Not because it was my families, the hotel staff made this the most pleasurable experience. Each and every one of the staff members went above and beyond to make sure that everything and everyone were exceptional
The food was outstanding. And I mean outstanding.
This hotel is quaint, the decor is serene and that's another reason why I loved this venue. The staff knew us by name. First name. I was very impressed since I had just met some of them.

My husband and I were married at the Tideline in February 2016. The venue was an answer to our prayers when we had a last minute venue change fiasco. Tricia and her team were so accommodating and responsive - we knew we were in great hands. The wedding went off without a hitch and was by far, the best day of our lives (not to mention the weather was perfect for our stunning ocean terrace ceremony)! It wouldn't have been as beautiful as it turned out to be without Tideline! We are so happy with our choice :)

Dream Come True For The Bride and Groom!!
We had our wedding on March 21, 2015. After we became engaged we had a very specific type of venue in mind that showcased our love for modern elegance, and the breathtaking views provided by Florida beaches! We started our tour of venues at all the top places in Miami, but none of the venues met our criteria. As soon as we pulled up the the Tideline we immediately realized that this is where we were meant to get married!
When we first toured the venue it was called The Omphoy and was under a different management company. We fell in love and immediately booked the venue for our wedding. A few months after planning we were informed that The Omphoy was going to be taken over by The Kimpton group and would be changing the name to Tideline. We were very skeptical at first because we did not want to lose any of the magic that we fell in love with. We met with the new manager and all our concerns disappeared.
Throughout the entire process all of the staff were easy to get in touch with and they took care of our every wish. We held our rehearsal dinner by the pool, and had the ceremony and reception in the upstairs room overlooking the ocean. All events were absolutely beautiful and that was in big part to Tricia Shaw. She was always there making sure things were running smoothly and to our specifications. The amazing food, gracious staff, and the ambiance helped make our dream wedding come true! Our family and friends kept talking non stop about how much they loved the venue and everything it had to offer!
If we could do it all again we would still pick the Tideline in a heartbeat!

I had my wedding at Tideline in May. It was more then I ever imagined! Breathtaking views and AMAZING food. The wonderful staff at Tideline made me feel at ease. They made sure everything was in order and running smoothly so I didn't have to worry and I could enjoy the special day.

On April 25, 2015, our daughter and son-in-law were married at the Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa. With its breathtaking oceanfront location on beautiful Palm Beach, Florida, the Tideline Ocean Resort is an ideal location for an unforgettable wedding.
Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the Valet staff to Front Desk Check-in, and knew that our family and guests were in for a wonderful wedding weekend. The Front Desk staff made us feel extra special to be celebrating our children’s wedding with the ‘Tideline/Kimpton family”. The Catering Team, led by Tricia Shaw, was absolutely delightful to work with. The Catering team includes Andrea, David and Steve, and they are the epitome of what a team is. They were all well apprised of the details of our wedding and were always available to speak with us. From the moment we met Tricia, we knew we were in the very best of hands and that she understood everything our children envisioned for their wedding day. She was professional, creative and a pleasure to work with. Each time we met with Tricia, she made us feel as though our event was her only priority. Her attention to detail is one of her many talents. Tricia, along with her remarkable team, exceeded all our expectations. She was hands-on overseeing every detail and worked tirelessly from morning to night the day of the wedding. She even sewed a button on my gown! She absolutely loves what she does and takes a genuine interest to deliver everything that is promised for a dream-come-true wedding.. With its delectable cuisine, outstanding service, and accommodations, this boutique-style hotel is both chic and zen with an ambiance all its own that exudes romance and luxury and lives up to the high standards of hospitality and service of a Kimpton property. The bride and groom could not have wished for a more magical wedding celebration. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous and we all had a fabulous time.

The Omphoy is a beautiful place for a wedding- our guests absolutely loved it!! The food was amazing, staff friendly and helpful. What they didn't see was what was going on behind the scenes. Susan, the event coordinator, is impossible to get a hold of. As a bride, you are very busy and a vendor that wont return your many emails, calls, voice mails etc is extremely stressful. We had a struggle getting in touch with her from the beginning (1 year before the wedding) up until the week before the big day. On the day of the wedding, she was lacking communication with me and the tables for the reception were not setup as requested. Once you have Susan's attention, she is great, helpful, and friendly. Once the reception starts, Susan is gone and Tim takes over. Tim was amazing and always there when needed. As for the hotel rooms, although beautiful and clean to the bare eye, it was not clean. The floors were filthy, it was gross. For both my room and my mothers, charges to our credit cards were incorrect. Overall, everyone was amazed and loved the venue, but the amount of effort and stress I had to put into it, is not something I was prepared for.

Ladies, Gentleman, anyone who is looking for a venue for an event: RUN, don't walk to Susan at the Omphoy Ocean Resort in Palm Beach. I had my wedding there this past weekend and felt the need to post something ASAP because we had the most magical weekend of our lives. Of course that is due in large part to our family and friends, but we felt so taken care of and like family at the Omphoy. Every person, from the bartenders to room service, the chef, the front desk receptionists and the towel boys at the beach treated me and all of my guests with such respect and professionalism. Susan, the head of catering, has been in the business for, I believe, 25 plus years. She knows what she is doing and you can put 100% of your trust in her and let her do what she does best. They don't call her the "Queen" over there for nothing. But aside from being a no-nonsense professional, she is full of heart and puts so much care into what she does. My husband and I really fell in love with her and had the best time putting together our wedding with her. We aren't a traditional couple and whereas many other vendors wanted to fit us into the box of what they are use to doing, she listened to us and always put our wishes first. Susan and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us all weekend and I truly cannot say enough good words about Susan and the Omphoy Ocean Resort. I wish I could give her and the venue 10 stars. Brides, Grooms, human beings, do yourself a favor and go to the Omphoy.

Susan D'andre did the most fabulous job. She handled all the details of my sons wedding with such professionalism and with such care, you would think she was preparing for her own wedding. We had such positive feedback from our guest. The appetizers were amazing and plentiful. The brunch buffet presentation was magnificent? The staff was friendly and attentive. Every detail was covered.
The wedding was not on the beach, but it was on the patio with a stunning view of the beach. We had a lovely violinist and a cello from Mater Musicians that provided music for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. After the ceremony we went upstairs to the reception in a room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. WOW! What a view. We then had an awesome DJ - Jason, from Jamming Express. I have never been to a wedding that just about the entire group was up and dancing. Great Job Jason!
If you are considering an Oceanside wedding, the Omphoy is a must.

We had our wedding in September and The Omphoy was the perfect setting. The Omphoy is an intimate and modern hotel with gorgeous oceanfront views. The food was amazing and unlike any other typical reception dinner.
We ultimately chose to have our wedding at The Omphoy after meeting with Susan. Susan is very friendly and knowledgeable and made the entire planning process effortless. The entire staff at The Omphoy were very tentative and made us feel like a king and queen for a day. Special Thanks to Tim who made our evening special and unforgettable.
We now understand why The Omphoy was picked as Best of Weddings 2012. Our wedding day at The Omphoy was truly amazing and we can't wait to come back and visit!

Choosing this venue was the best decision I have ever made. Susan, Tim, and the entire staff made my husband and I feel like rock stars with every attentive detail. I can see why they won best in weddings.
The setting and venue itself is absolutely stunning, that alone would have made this a great event, but what really made it for us was the soup to nuts service and attentive staff. I felt like the entire staff was given our pictures so they could recognize us and pamper our needs. Even the day after the wedding, lounging around the bar and restaurant, we were doted on.
A resounding THANK YOU goes to the phenomenal Susan and the entire team at the Omphoy Resort. You made my wedding day the happiest day of my life!

The omphoy was magnificent. I had a small wedding anf though it rained, the location of my ceremony was spectacular and the room for the dinner was fab. One long Kings table...its was beyond elegant... everyone who attended said it was perfect!

From the service to the food-our wedding was the best day of our lives! Everything was so convienent for our guests and bridal party. The setting was beautiful and the food was perfect! Our wedding was two months ago and we are still receiving compliments on our "fabulous wedding". Thank you Amanda, Gabrielle, Daniel, Allison (from the pool and beach) and the guys and gal at the valet!
Can't wait to visit the Omphoy again!
