I was one of the first brides to book here. Let me tell you booking a new venue is SCARY. There’s no prior reviews no reference points, no photos, no inspiration… nothing. It was left all up to Gods hands & lots of prayers that all will be ok. If you’re looking for a warm, cozy, art deco, (with a splash of modern flair) style venue this is it. Somehow it’s a beautiful balance between charming & unique. It’s a breath of fresh air and steers away from the typical “gaudy” run of the mill venues. The food is fantastic. If you’re looking for QUALITY & to steer away from your typical wedding venue menu, look no further. I have guests calling me telling me they haven’t had a meal like this at a wedding EVER. Cocktail hour was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Dinners were unique and crafted for a more elevated pallet. The service was absolutely impeccable as well. Drinks were strong and top notch. What’s also great is they have a steak house on site Ember & Eagle with the same chef responsible for your wedding day. This is a higher end steakhouse & you can get an idea of what to expect when booking. I HIGHLY recommend doing dinner prior to help convince you. My only “complaints” is that I feel like their dessert inclusions were a little scarce & I wasn’t a fan of how they executed my vision for our wedding cake. Also their “getting ready” start time is very late in comparison to other venues. But you can come earlier for an extra charge. But on the grand scale of things these issues are nothing to fret over. My coordinator was Erica. She was wonderful from start to finish. Answered all my questions & made literal miracles happen day of. I would like to say I was a “self sufficient” bride who didn’t have too many questions or needed much contact prior week of wedding day. Do keep in mind that their roll is essentially a day OF coordinator from the venue not a two year planner. But with that being said, that doesn’t mean they will not go above and beyond for you. Because Erica sure did. My florist was completely unprofessional & didn’t complete the job he was hired to do. When I did my room reveal I was less than enthused. Quite the opposite. My florist left my arch in three pieces on the floor & LEFT. I was FUMING to say the least that the entire focal point of the room above the sweetheart table was just NOT there. Erica & her counterpart Joe stepped in at the last minute to remedy the problem & make a VERY upset bride feel way better. They took over what was supposed to be the florists job of putting my sweetheart arch together & somehow built me the arch he was supposed to. THIS is the type of service you can’t find elsewhere. And the type of service that isn’t expected but stands out amongst the masses. Now for the real star of the show, Jacki. Jacki was my bridal attendant. This woman was there at every turn of the day. Putting me into my dress, taking me out of it, changing my jewelry, handing me drinks, making sure I ate, hunting down family members when I was in crisis mode, carting my dogs around for photos. You name it she did it. She was a complete rockstar and there is no way you would get through your day without her. “You didn’t know you needed a Jacki, till you had a Jacki” No task was too big or too small for her to tackle without ever breaking a sweat or an ounce of annoyance cross her face. She is a true asset to Tillinghouse & deserves all the praise in the world. Not only is she professional but she is sweet, genuinely loves her job & is a MASTER at it. To top it off she took some of my favorite photos of the night! She’s a gem & must be protected at all costs! I do not think Tillinghouse would function without her. Overall Tillinghouse provided us with the wedding of our dreams. I couldn’t recommend them more. I cannot wait to see how they take off in the years to come & see all the happy couples celebrate their happy moments here.

We got married at The Tillinghouse in November 2024 and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. As first-time wedding planners (and hopefully last!), we had no idea what to expect, but the venue exceeded every expectation. Including making a pivot from our outdoor ceremony and moving it inside when it decided to rain for the first time in almost 2 months! The transition was seamless, staff was proactive and it was obvious how they did whatever they could to make it perfect. Atmosphere: The venue is stunning—elegant but warm and modern. This place does not give off cheesy wedding vibes, it is classy and with the times. Staff: The team was incredible—professional, friendly, and attentive. Huge shout out to the amazing trio Erica, Jacki and Gretchen. Every staff member was calm and helpful, making us feel at ease all day. Even our guests were commenting on how friendly and attentive each staff member was. The way our items and food were packed up for us at the end of the night left us speechless. They even labeled separate cookies for us based on a comment we made during the tasting about which ones each of us liked best. Food & Drinks: The food was outstanding—our guests are still talking about the chicken piccata and the cocktail hour. Our signatures cocktails felt elevated in this venue from the look of the bar and the expertise of the staff. The Tillinghouse made our wedding day so unique and special. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night!!!!!!
