We heard from so many of our guests that it was literally the best they've ever eaten at a wedding!!! The venue itself made for an unforgettable night. The perfect layout and space for guests to enjoy the dancefloor, the outdoors, or a quiet conversation in the lounge. I would absolutely recommend TillingHouse to anyone -- don't hesitate to book this place!!! She made the entire planning and booking process easy and tailored everything to our needs. Our bridal attendants, Jackie and Gretchen, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, calm, and well taken care of throughout the day. Jackie even took incredible BTS shots of us throughout the day on her phone, which are some of my favorite photos to look back on! They anticipated every need before we even had to ask. The bar staff were outstanding, and made our specific specialty cocktails taste incredible. The cocktail hour was beautifully executed, and you know it was a great wedding when your friends are still raving about it! All the food was absolutely delicious at the cocktail hour and, of course, the reception, where it was served not only perfectly on time but with impeccable white-glove, synchronized service, which was so cool to watch. We felt taken care of the entire time, always had a fresh beverage in hand, plenty of food available and we're able to just relax and have the best time! The level of service was truly 10/10 across the board. Even the next-day pickup was organized and effortless, which made wrapping things up so much easier. The Tilling House exceeded every expectation & we couldn’t have asked for a more stunning venue or a more attentive team. Thanks to everyone there, we have memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend to any couple looking for a top-tier wedding venue in New Jersey! We have been joking that we would have loved being guests at our own wedding, since it was such an unbelievably fun time with great food, amazing space, and energy!

I can’t brag about the food enough, we served short ribs & branzino which were both a hit. The food is so different then your standard NJ wedding venue food, guests were complimenting it days after the wedding. Even the cake, (no one likes wedding cake) but this cake I wish I could eat all over again! (we did one layer of cannoli and one layer of strawberry). They also put out a dessert platter one each table & the chocolate chip cookies are one of the best you will ever taste. What really sets Tilling House apart? The staff. I thought I would be this crazy bride but they made it SO easy not to have to worry about a single thing. They knew what we needed even before we did. One of our guests’ dress ripped during the event and they sat there and literally sewed it back for them so quickly. The bridal attendants? Jackie & Gretchen- Angels in formalwear. Both of them were god sent- they did everything for us without hesitation, and most of the time without us even asking. They were prepared for anything. Bartenders? They created amazing, customized cocktails for us depending on our taste preferences and they were a hit! Let’s talk details, we used the ceremony space outside which was simple yet so classy. You literally have a beautiful canvas at your disposal to create your dream walking down the isle moment. We also did our cocktail hour outside which was set up perfectly, and guests raved about the food, especially the pasta station! Right before joining our guests at cocktail hour, we enjoyed some special alone time together in the bridal suite with a full spread of food and had the full attention of both bridal attendants. From our first tour of the venue with our event coordinator, Erica, to the minute our guests left the night of our wedding, everything was executed perfectly. Tilling House is truly a hidden gem that we’re so lucky we stumbled on. We cannot recommend enough!

eft all up to Gods hands & lots of prayers that all will be ok. If you’re looking for a warm, cozy, art deco, (with a splash of modern flair) style venue this is it. Somehow it’s a beautiful balance between charming & unique. It’s a breath of fresh air and steers away from the typical “gaudy” run of the mill venues. The food is fantastic. If you’re looking for QUALITY & to steer away from your typical wedding venue menu, look no further. I have guests calling me telling me they haven’t had a meal like this at a wedding EVER. Cocktail hour was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Dinners were unique and crafted for a more elevated pallet. The service was absolutely impeccable as well. Drinks were strong and top notch. What’s also great is they have a steak house on site Ember & Eagle with the same chef responsible for your wedding day. This is a higher end steakhouse & you can get an idea of what to expect when booking. I HIGHLY recommend doing dinner prior to help convince you. My only “complaints” is that I feel like their dessert inclusions were a little scarce & I wasn’t a fan of how they executed my vision for our wedding cake. Also their “getting ready” start time is very late in comparison to other venues. But you can come earlier for an extra charge. But on the grand scale of things these issues are nothing to fret over. My coordinator was Erica. She was wonderful from start to finish. Answered all my questions & made literal miracles happen day of. I would like to say I was a “self sufficient” bride who didn’t have too many questions or needed much contact prior week of wedding day. Do keep in mind that their roll is essentially a day OF coordinator from the venue not a two year planner. But with that being said, that doesn’t mean they will not go above and beyond for you. Because Erica sure did. My florist was completely unprofessional & didn’t complete the job he was hired to do. When I did my room reveal I was less than enthused. Quite the opposite. My florist left my arch in three pieces on the floor & LEFT. I was FUMING to say the least that the entire focal point of the room above the sweetheart table was just NOT there. Erica & her counterpart Joe stepped in at the last minute to remedy the problem & make a VERY upset bride feel way better. They took over what was supposed to be the florists job of putting my sweetheart arch together & somehow built me the arch he was supposed to. THIS is the type of service you can’t find elsewhere. And the type of service that isn’t expected but stands out amongst the masses. Now for the real star of the show, Jacki. Jacki was my bridal attendant. This woman was there at every turn of the day. Putting me into my dress, taking me out of it, changing my jewelry, handing me drinks, making sure I ate, hunting down family members when I was in crisis mode, carting my dogs around for photos. You name it she did it. She was a complete rockstar and there is no way you would get through your day without her. “You didn’t know you needed a Jacki, till you had a Jacki” No task was too big or too small for her to tackle without ever breaking a sweat or an ounce of annoyance cross her face. She is a true asset to Tillinghouse & deserves all the praise in the world. Not only is she professional but she is sweet, genuinely loves her job & is a MASTER at it. To top it off she took some of my favorite photos of the night! She’s a gem & must be protected at all costs! I do not think Tillinghouse would function without her. Overall Tillinghouse provided us with the wedding of our dreams. I couldn’t recommend them more. I cannot wait to see how they take off in the years to come & see all the happy couples celebrate their happy moments here.

o expect, but the venue exceeded every expectation. Including making a pivot from our outdoor ceremony and moving it inside when it decided to rain for the first time in almost 2 months! The transition was seamless, staff was proactive and it was obvious how they did whatever they could to make it perfect. Atmosphere: The venue is stunning—elegant but warm and modern. This place does not give off cheesy wedding vibes, it is classy and with the times. Staff: The team was incredible—professional, friendly, and attentive. Huge shout out to the amazing trio Erica, Jacki and Gretchen. Every staff member was calm and helpful, making us feel at ease all day. Even our guests were commenting on how friendly and attentive each staff member was. The way our items and food were packed up for us at the end of the night left us speechless. They even labeled separate cookies for us based on a comment we made during the tasting about which ones each of us liked best. Food & Drinks: The food was outstanding—our guests are still talking about the chicken piccata and the cocktail hour. Our signatures cocktails felt elevated in this venue from the look of the bar and the expertise of the staff. The Tillinghouse made our wedding day so unique and special. Everything from the atmosphere to the service was flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night!!!!!! We had a bit of a windy November day but you would never know it under the heat lamps in the cocktail hour space! Our pictures are better than I could have ever imagined due to the beautiful golf course and venue. The bridal attendants Jackie and Gretchen went above and beyond to make sure I had anything and everything I needed. My bustle broke shortly into my reception, and Jackie hand-sewed it back together herself and had me right back on the dance floor. The bartenders were unbelievable! Ryan crafted up the best signature cocktail for me, and all my guests loved it. Every single person went out of their way to ensure my husband and I had the best night of our lives, and it was nothing short of that!! I am sad our wedding is over, but I’m looking forward to going to dinner soon at Ember and Eagle and reliving my wedding day through the amazing food!! months later, it was such a smooth and easy process. Erica made us feel at ease with planning a wedding in a short time & honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way! She was there whenever we needed anything and was prompt with answering emails and all questions. The Tillinghouse is easy to fall in love with as it sets itself apart from most other venues. It is unique, has its own vibe, and has SO much to offer amongst the whole property. From our beautiful outdoor ceremony during an October golden hour, to the outdoor cocktail hour under the heated veranda, to the high end modern ballroom- the grounds are simply beautiful each in their own way. The opportunities are endless. It is rare that you find a venue that you are happy with either plan A or plan B when it comes to the weather. It made it so much less stressful. Erica was a dream to work with, along with the entire TH staff. From the bartenders, Ryan & Joe, who we worked closely with to Create our signature cocktails (which were such a hit), to our bridal attendants, Jackie & Gretchen, who literally went above & beyond in every aspect of the day (so impressive), the list goes on. Jackie was such a calming addition to the day I never knew I needed, I didn’t even have to think or ask for anything and she was there every transition of the day. I was blown away by her attentiveness and kindness. Everyone is so detail oriented with a focus on making sure everything ran smoothly and that we were happy. Our cocktail hour was off the charts and our guests will forever be talking about how amazing the food was along with the high end cocktail options. Dinner entrees were even more impressive as they aren’t typical “wedding food” offerings. The TH really knows how to set itself apart from others and it shows. It was a first time visit for A lot of our guests along with most of our vendors and everyone raved about everything from start to finish. We also opted to add on the cigar & scotch tasting bar which was a memorable touch! We were so impressed with how it was setup and it was thoroughly enjoyed by our guests. We truly cannot thank Erica and the entire TH team for our absolutely perfect day from start to finish! We continue to receive texts and calls about their experience at The Tillinghouse. We often respond with, "We know! We loved it too!" Even our band and photographer were blown away by the amenities of the venue that made their lives easier as well. For them, it was their first time there and they cannot wait to go back. Brides, the day of might be stressful, but I cannot emphasize enough about how the bridal attendants, specifically Jackie and Gretchen, made everything seem easy. There were things that were done for us before we could even ask. We were blown away by their attention to detail and their quest to make our day a memorable one! They were so, so enjoyable to be around and were the ultimate hype girls for the day! Erica, Jackie and Gretchen were the ladies behind the scenes that made all of it possible! They had all eager managerial hands on deck getting their hands dirty to help us unload cars, set up signage and decor the day before and offer experienced opinions and advice. Wait staff were beautifully groomed top notch servers and their energetic vibes were ELECTRIC! As a bride and groom you will want for nothing while planning. They have every answer and suggestion. All day they made us and our families feel tended to and cared for. I was gently whisked to every important moment, on time, with a fresh drink and a smile. Sometimes even with a wonderful pep talk. I literally asked for nothing all day. My bridal attendant Jackie was more than an attendant. She was absolutely incredible, communicative, poised, comforting, genuine, prepared, super knowledgeable and on and on I could go! I will forever feel bad for any couple who doesn’t have a Jackie. We got married May 2024. It was perfection. I want to do it again!

We started our day pretty early and our bridal attendant, Erica, was helping myself and the bridal party with anything they needed to make sure the day started off smoothly. Having someone like Erica be by my side helped me focus on myself and have her assist in all the day to day tasks really made me at ease throughout the whole process. The Tilling House team was incredible. Dominque & Erica were assisting myself and my husband's groom party throughout the morning to get the day going, and then they were with us every step of the way till that last glass of champagne was poured at midnight. Our ceremony was outside in the beautiful courtyard, and we had our cocktail hour outside as well. I couldn't have asked for a better day for weather, but the best part was if it were to rain we had a back up plan which was very comforting. Because you never know with Mother Nature! During cocktail hour we had stations set up with the most delicious food. My dream was to go full out for cocktail hour as that is my favorite part of any wedding I go to. And boy did Chef Ryan and his team out do themselves. Between the tuscan table, to the pasta stations, to the seafood stations every bite was a taste of excellence. Our reception was inside, the venue holds 400 - 450 depending if you have a dance floor or not, and we had 248 as our final head count and we were able to utilize the space perfectly. We had an 11 person band that was at the head of the dance floor, and we had a sit down dinner which was important to us because my husband and I wanted to take a moment to ourselves and just enjoy our dinner at the sweetheart table. When the reception ended that didn't mean the party was over. We had our after party in their Parlor room, and Parlor bar. We had a DJ in the parlor room, and a late night food station of burgers and fries. Everyone danced through the whole night. The best part about the Tilling House venue is that their team is there with you by your side to make sure your day is stress free. The venue itself has so many options on how you can utilize the space. Having our wedding in September we were able to be inside and outside during our reception and I know our guests truly enjoyed that. Still to this day people are raving about how this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and I completely agree. Chef Ryans team did a superb job. I wish I can have a wedding there every year because the vibe was amazing, the Tillinghouse team was amazing and better yet I got to marry the man of my dreams at the venue of my dreams.
